Studies on graft unions

Summary The occurrence of plasmodesmata in the graft interfaces of two heteroplastic grafts (Impatiens walleriana onImpatiens olivieri andHelianthus annum onVicia faba) has been studied. For both systems two types of intercellular strand are described: 1. Continuous plasmodesmata interconnecting the cells of stock and scion and 2. half plasmodesmata traversing the wall part of one partner cell without connection to the abutting cell. Single strands or branched forms occur in both types of plasmodesma. In the case of half plasmodesmata, branchings with extended median nodules predominate. The distribution of half and continuous plasmodesmata varies with the different areas of a graft interface: in the region of bridging vascular tissues most cell connections are continuous. In areas where cortex or pith-derived callus cells and those of misaligned tissues (cortex/vascular tissue; cortex/pith; pith/vascular tissue) match, discontinuous strands predominate.Branched half plasmodesmata also occur in presumably fused walls between related callus cells; they are typical structures secondarily formed in non-division walls.The results are discussed with regard to compatibility/incompatibility phenomena in heterografts and the development and function of interspecific cell bridges.     

蓖麻蚕不同组织脂酶同工酶的研究

本工作为蚕类同工酶研究中的一部分,研究了蓖麻蚕五龄幼虫不同组织器官酯酶的分布情况,试图逐渐建立酶谱化。目的在于利用聚丙烯酰胺凝胶电泳,检验家蚕的DNA对蓖麻蚕的诱变作用（陈元霖等,1981）,以期供体、受体与转化体之间几种酶谱的异同,从分子生物学的角度对蚕类DNA诱导遗传性变异加以阐述。     

叶潜蛾科一个新种——黄皮叶潜蛾(鳞翅目:叶潜蛾科)

叶潜蛾属Phyllocnistis Zeller已从细蛾科Gracillariidae分立出来,另独立成为叶潜蛾科Phyllocnistidae(Kloct and Hincks,1972)。根据Imms(1977)记载,该科在全世界约有50多种。我们最近查阅文献,该科已有80多种。但本科在我国记载的种类仅有柑桔叶潜蛾Phyllocnistis cilrella Stainton及杨银叶潜蛾Phyllocnistis saligna Zeller。它们的食     

向日葵未受精胚珠培养时胚状体发生的显微观察

由开花前1—4天的向日葵子房中取出胚珠,在液体培养基上进行漂浮培养,诱导了未受精的卵细胞发育为单倍体的胚状体.亦诱导了珠被绒毡层产生胚状体。对两种胚状体的发生和发育过程及其形态发生特点作了显微观察与描述。     

The use of microcomputers for the quantitation of light intensity patterns using digitized video signals

We have developed an inexpensive yet versatile microcomputer-basedsystem for quantitating light intensity levels in autoradiographs.This system employs a standard video camera interfaced to ananalog-to-digital convertor. A program has been written forthis system which can measure intensities within a defined regionof an autoradiograph, permitting an easy and accurate quantitationof spots or bands of irregular shape. 低温对不同耐寒力的黄瓜幼苗子叶的各细胞器中NAD~+-苹果酸脱氢酶的影响

NAD~+-MDH在黄瓜子叶中的定位是细胞溶质中占总活性的55～59％,线粒体为38～35％,叶绿体为7％。其同工酶谱亦为细胞溶质中带数最多,全青为5条,粤早3号为4条,线粒体和叶绿体均为1条,品种间无明显差异。黄瓜幼苗随低温胁迫的加剧,伤害逐步加重,子叶电解质渗出率明显增加,NAD~+-MDH活性亦不断下降,其中叶绿体的NAD~+-MDH对低温最敏感,1±1℃处理就能反映品种间耐寒力的差异。叶绿体和线粒体的NAD~+-MDH同工酶对低温的反应与活性变化一致,谱带数没有差异,只是活性降低。细胞溶质部分酶带较多,各条酶带对低温的反应不同。     

pH和温度对固氮酶还原基质的影响

确定了在pH 5.2到8.7和温度22°到45℃时钼铁蛋白和铁蛋白的稳定性。按logKm和logV分别对pH作图,得到下列参数。于30℃在酸性侧,乙炔络合常数PK_b(C_2H_2)=6.43—6.50,乙炔催化常数pK_b′(C_2H_2)=4.78,在碱性侧乙炔络合常数pK_a(C_2H_2)=7.42—7.55,乙炔催化常数pK_a′(C_2H_2)=7.88—8.29,氮络合常数pK_a(N_2)=7.75—7.9及氮催化常数pK_a′(N_2)=8.08—8.68。既然pK_a与pK_b或pK_a′与pK_b′二者间隔小于3.5个单位,又按V/Km及V′对pH作图,其结果为pKb(C_2H_2)=6.28pK_a(C_2H_2)=7.68和pK_b′(C_2H_2)=5.53和pK_a′(C_2H_2)=8.93。将不同温度下的pK_b或pK_a分别对各自温度的倒数作图,其热力学数据为由pH 5.7到7.3范围内,质子移变基团的解离热⊿H(ioh)=7742卡/克分子,相应的pK_b(C_2H_2)=6.16—6.36;由pH 7.3到8.4范围内⊿H_(ion)=6983卡/克分子,相应的pK_a=8.24—8.44。这些数据指出固氮酶钼铁蛋白络合乙炔的功能基团可能具有咪唑基·巯基和氨基相类似的结构,这种推测正在用化学修饰的方法加以验证。     

湖北贝母的染色体核型分析

从广州市散发性脑炎病人血清中查出雪鞋野兔病毒抗体升高

近几年来夏季,在我国南方一些省市发现一些散发性病毒性脑炎病例,主要是儿童。他们的流行性乙型脑炎抗体阴性。病因不明。 为了研究本病的病因,于1983年4月至10月,我们在广州市儿童医院收集了34例散发性脑炎病人的双份血清,15例其它病种(如百日咳、心肌炎、钩端螺旋体脑炎、多发性神经根     

Mg~(2+)影响嵌有线粒体H~+-ATP酶脂酶体的表面电荷密度和流动性
