目的探讨合欢皮总皂苷对雄性小鼠的抗生育作用。方法将60只健康的雄性性成熟昆明小鼠随机分成3个试验组和1个对照组,各试验组小鼠灌胃540 mg·(kg·d)-1,270 mg·(kg·d)-1和135 mg·(kg·d)-1的合欢皮总皂苷水溶液,对照组自由饮水,灌胃1周后按雌雄比2∶1合笼,继续对雄鼠灌胃至19 d,采集雄性小鼠的血液并测定血液生化指标,剖检灌胃雌性小鼠,统计雌性小鼠的怀孕率,测定雄性小鼠睾丸与附睾的脏器系数及附睾精子活力,并固定睾丸和附睾,研究其组织学变化。结果与对照组相比较,雄性小鼠灌胃合欢皮总皂苷后,导致雌性小鼠的怀孕率降低,睾丸脏器系数和附睾精子活率极显著降低(P<0.01),精子畸形率极显著升高(P<0.01)。光学显微镜下,试验组小鼠睾丸和附睾均有一定程度的损失,睾丸生精细胞排列疏松,间质减少,可见曲细精管内有多核巨噬细胞浸润,各级生精细胞脱落。附睾具正常的管腔结构,但能明显观察到管腔内精子几乎消失。结论合欢皮总皂苷对雄性小鼠具有抗生育作用,主要通过影响精子的生成及破坏生精组织而达到。  相似文献

目的:通过2代繁殖实验观察长期不间断饮用牛奶对雌性大鼠生殖功能的影响。方法:4w龄SD(Sprague Dawley)大鼠雌雄各20只,随机分为牛奶组及对照组(饲料能量、蛋白质含量大致相同),每组雌雄各半,10w后合笼,产下F1代后处死雄性大鼠,分别记录两代雌性大鼠的体重、器官脏器重量、动情周期、血清激素水平、各子代活产数、阴道开口时间、雌性35d肛门生殖器间距,探讨长期饮用牛奶对雌性大鼠生殖功能的影响。结果:亲代牛奶组雌鼠血液中E2(雌二醇)显著高于对照组(P<0.05),F1代牛奶组雌鼠血液中PRL(催乳素)较对照组显著升高(P<0.05);F1代第二批子鼠F2b活产数牛奶组显著低于对照组(P<0.05);其他各项指标在两代的组间差异均无统计学意义。结论:就所观察指标而言,未发现长期饮用牛奶对雌性大鼠生长发育及生殖功能有明显影响,体内激素水平和子代活产数的作用有待进一步确认。  相似文献

目的探讨薄荷油对雄性小鼠的抗生育作用。方法将60只健康的雄性性成熟昆明小鼠随机分成3个试验组和1个对照组,各试验组小鼠灌胃0.135 g/(kg·d),0.27 g/(kg·d)和0.54 g/(kg·d)的薄荷油0.5%羧甲基纤维素钠(sodium carboxymethylcellulose,CMC)混悬液,对照组灌胃0.5%羧甲基纤维素钠溶液,灌胃1周后按雌雄比2∶1合笼,继续对雄鼠灌胃至19 d,采集雄性小鼠的血液并测定血液生化指标,剖检灌胃雌雄小鼠,统计雌性小鼠的怀孕率,测定雄性小鼠睾丸与附睾的脏器系数及附睾精子活力,并固定睾丸和附睾,研究其组织学变化。结果与对照组相比较,雄性小鼠灌胃薄荷油后,导致雌性小鼠的怀孕率降低,睾丸脏器系数和附睾精子活率极显著降低(P<0.01),精子畸形率极显著升高(P<0.01)。光学显微镜下,试验组小鼠睾丸和附睾均有一定程度的损伤,睾丸间质减少,睾丸各级生精细胞排列疏松,曲细精管内有多核巨噬细胞浸润。附睾具正常的管腔结构,但能明显观察到管腔内精子减少。结论薄荷油对雄性小鼠具有抗生育作用,且主要通过影响精子的生成及破坏生精组织而达到,具有实际应用价值,可进一步开发成环境友好型鼠类抗生育药剂。  相似文献

目的:观察低浓度84消毒液对小鼠生殖生理的影响。方法将72只KM小鼠随机分为3组,即:0.5%84消毒液组( A组)、2.0%84消毒液组( B组)和生理盐水组( C组),每组24只,雌雄各半,各组每天1次灌胃给予相应药物,连续9周。阴道涂片镜检观察雌性小鼠的动情周期。9周后,观察雄性小鼠的精子畸形率;并用ELISA法测定小鼠血清中性激素的水平;并取睾丸(或卵巢)、心、肝、肺、肾进行组织学观察。结果与C组比较,A和B组小鼠体重差异无显著性( P >0.05);血清性激素水平差异无显著性( P >0.05);雌性小鼠动情周期差异无显著性(P >0.05);组织学观察未见异常;与C组比较,A组小鼠精子畸形率差异无显著性(P >0.05),B组小鼠精子畸形率显著增高( P =0.041<0.05)。结论0.5%84消毒液对小鼠的生殖生理无明显影响,在实际使用中要严格控制消毒液浓度。  相似文献

目的构建范可尼贫血通路Fancm基因敲除小鼠,研究Fancm基因缺失对小鼠生理功能,特别是雄性生殖器官的影响。方法采用CRISPR/Cas9技术,获得Fancm基因敲除小鼠。分析FANCM蛋白在野生型和Fancm^-/-小鼠睾丸组织中的表达。统计Fancm^-/-小鼠的出生率、体重、性别比例及子代生育情况,分析血液常规指标。组织形态学研究雄性Fancm^-/-小鼠睾丸生理病理表型。结果敲除Fancm基因ATG区域,获得稳定遗传的C57BL/6背景Fancm^-/-小鼠。Fancm^-/-小鼠睾丸中FANCM蛋白表达完全丢失。Fancm^-/-小鼠无明显的胚胎致死现象,但雌性Fancm-/-小鼠数目显著少于雄性Fancm^-/-小鼠。同窝Fancm^-/-小鼠比较野生型体重无明显区别,部分血常规指标有显著性差异。Fancm^-/-小鼠有明显的生殖能力缺陷。雄性Fancm^-/-小鼠睾丸有显著的发育缺陷,其生精细胞凋亡增加、细胞周期阻滞,影响睾丸发育与精子的生成。结论成功获得稳定遗传C57BL/6背景Fancm^-/-小鼠,Fancm基因参与小鼠的生长发育,特别是雄性生殖器官功能的维持及调控。  相似文献

本研究使用乙醛脱氢酶2(ALDH2)基因全敲除的雄性C57BL/6(B6)小鼠(Musmusculus domesticus),通过分析不同周龄小鼠的睾丸脏器系数、睾丸组织细胞形态、精子运动参数、配种后母鼠产仔数及子代雄雌比等生育指标,探讨ALDH2基因敲除对雄性小鼠生育能力的影响。结果表明,与野生型(WT)小鼠相比,5、7、10周龄ALDH2基因敲除型(KO)雄性小鼠睾丸脏器系数显著降低(P <0.05);睾丸组织细胞间质变大,精子活率显著降低(P <0.05);产仔数和雄雌比显著降低(P <0.05)。本研究为揭示乙醛脱氢酶ALDH2基因在雄性小鼠生殖中的作用提供了一定的基础。  相似文献

目的通过度他雄胺对大鼠附睾精子和生育的影响,探索调节雄性生育的睾丸后作用靶点。方法使用度他雄胺20和40 mg/(kg.d)大鼠灌胃给药,连续2周。给药结束后雄雌鼠按1∶2合笼,计算生殖指数;采用计算机辅助精子分析系统分析精子活力和形态;采用SYBR-14和PI双重荧光染色计算精子存活率;采用Elisa法测定大鼠睾酮(T)和双氢睾酮(DHT)血清浓度;采用HE染色法对各组睾丸、附睾进行组织学分析。结果度他雄胺低、高剂量组双氢睾酮浓度均显著下降,分别为0.54和0.28 nmol/L(P<0.01),精子活力明显降低,分别为39.0%和28.7%(P<0.01),畸形率分别增加为10.3%和15.6%(P<0.05),最后受孕率分别降为62.5%和38.4%。而睾酮水平和交配指数均无明显变化(P>0.05),睾丸和附睾亦无明显病理学改变。结论度他雄胺通过抑制DHT生成,影响附睾精子成熟而导致大鼠不育,为今后男性避孕和不育药物研发提供了新思路。  相似文献

目的:研究NADPH氧化酶抑制剂夹竹桃麻素(Apocynin)对双酚a(Bisphenol a,BPA)诱导的成年雄性小鼠精子损伤过程中的作用。方法:成年雄性小鼠给以BPA刺激,给以Apocynin(1 mg/kg/day和10 mg/kg/day,分别处理7 day)进行治疗,观察其对BPA诱导的成年雄性小鼠精子损伤的作用。结果:BPA处理组小鼠附睾精子数目和活力明显降低,血清中睾酮和黄体生成素水平明显减少;Apocynin治疗明显增加BPA处理组小鼠附睾中精子数目和活力,但是对血清中睾酮和黄体生成素水平没有明显影响。另外,BPA处理组小鼠睾丸中丙二醛(Malonaldehyde,MDA)水平明显增加;Apocynin治疗明显抑制了BPA处理组小鼠睾丸中MDA水平。结论:NADPH氧化酶抑制剂Apocynin减轻BPA诱导的成年雄性小鼠精子损伤。  相似文献

目的:探究七氟醚通过调节c-Jun氨基末端激酶(JNK)信号通路对幼鼠空间探索能力及认知功能的影响。方法:48只7 d日龄的SD大鼠随机分为3组:对照组、七氟醚组和七氟醚+SP600125组。七氟醚组和七氟醚+SP600125组吸入七氟醚,七氟醚+SP600125组使用JNK抑制剂SP600125灌胃。在最后一次吸入七氟醚3 h后每组随机处死8只幼鼠,通过TUNEL染色检测海马体神经元凋亡。在大鼠性成熟后通过水迷宫实验和跳台实验检测神经功能和学习能力。在吸入七氟醚后3 h和性成熟后通过Western blotting检测JNK和Caspase-3蛋白,并比较各组AchE和CHAT的活性。结果:在建模后3 h,七氟醚组的JNK、Caspase-3蛋白水平、AchE活性显著高于对照组,CHAT活性显著低于对照组(P0.05)。七氟醚+SP600125组的JNK、Caspase-3、AchE活性水平显著低于七氟醚组,CHAT活性显著高于七氟醚组(P0.05)。七氟醚组幼鼠的海马体神经元凋亡率显著高于对照组(P0.05),七氟醚+SP600125组的凋亡率显著低于七氟醚组(P0.05)。在大鼠性成熟后与对照组比较,七氟醚组的逃避潜伏期升高而穿越平台次数降低,错误次数显著升高而潜伏期显著降低(P0.05),并且七氟醚+SP600125组的逃避潜伏期低于七氟醚组而穿越平台次数高于七氟醚组,错误次数显著低于七氟醚组而潜伏期显著高于七氟醚组(P0.05)。各组大鼠性成熟后海马体中JNK和Caspase-3蛋白水平比较差异无统计学差异(P0.05)。性成熟后各组大鼠海马体中AchE活性比较差异不显著(P0.05)。七氟醚组的CHAT水平显著低于对照组(P0.05),七氟醚+SP600125组的CHAT水平显著高于七氟醚组(P0.05)。结论:七氟醚可能通过激活JNK通路促进海马体神经元细胞凋亡,并使AChE活性升高而ChAT活力降低,导致大鼠神经功能、学习和记忆力降低。  相似文献

目的:探讨磁处理水对家免睾丸、附睾重量以及精子活力、沃纱、密度的影响。方法:新西兰雄性大白免36只,随机分为实验组和对照组。对照组饮用自来水,实验组饮用磁处理水,磁处理水每天更换,实验进行90天。光镜下检测每只家免附睾尾精子密度,精子活力,精子活率,最后将睾丸、附睾称重。结果:实验组与对照组比较,其睾丸附睾重量明显增加,精子密度增加14 % ,精子活力增加8% ,精子活率增加11% ,两组差异有显著性(P <0 .0 5 )。结论:实验结果提示饮用磁处理水能显著提高家免的生殖能力。  相似文献

摘要 目的:通过制备大鼠慢性间歇性缺氧的动物模型,观察间歇性缺氧对雄性大鼠精子数量和活力的影响,并初步探讨其可能的发生机制。方法:16只雄性SD大鼠随机分为对照组和缺氧组。间歇性缺氧8周后分别测定两组大鼠精子活力和精子浓度,睾丸组织中P53的表达量和细胞的凋亡水平,以及血清睾酮(T)、促卵泡素(FSH)和黄体生成素(LH)的浓度。结果:与对照组比较,缺氧组大鼠精子的浓度和活力均降低(P>0.05),并且前向运动的精子数明显减少(P<0.05)。同时,缺氧组睾丸组织P53 mRNA的表达和睾丸组织中凋亡的细胞均多于对照组,血清T、LH的浓度低于对照组(P<0.05)。结论:间歇性缺氧时可能影响了下丘脑-垂体-性腺轴,不仅使睾酮合成减少,还降低了对P53的抑制作用而诱导了大量细胞的凋亡,最终降低了SD大鼠的精子数量和活力。  相似文献

摘要 目的:研究中国大鲵肌肉蛋白肽(The protein and peptide extracts from muscles of Chinese giant salamanders,SP)对双酚A(bisphenol A,BPA)诱导的小鼠生精障碍的保护作用,并初步探讨其作用机制。方法:40只C57BL/6 雄性小鼠分为四组,分别为Control组、BPA组、BPA+CS(Compound Substance)组、BPA+SP组。BPA组使用50 mg/kg/d的BPA腹腔注射,BPA溶解于玉米油;Control组只腹腔注射玉米油。BPA+CS组灌胃其他有利于生精壮阳的复合物用作对照,复合物溶解于生理盐水中;BPA+SP组灌胃上述复合物联合大鲵肌肉蛋白肽,以上灌胃剂量均4 g/kg/d。连续造模28天,期间每周测定小鼠体重,造模结束后测定睾丸体积、睾体比,取附睾精子使用CASA计算机辅助分析系统测定精子数目、精子活力,ELISA法测定血清睾酮含量,HE染色、TUNEL染色分析睾丸组织病理学,最后采用免疫荧光染色及Western blotting分析转移相关基因2(MTA2)的表达情况、油红O染色观察支持细胞体内、体外吞噬作用。结果:与对照组比较,BPA组睾丸体积(P<0.05)、睾丸重量(P<0.05)、睾体比(P<0.05)、精子数目(P<0.05)、精子活力(P<0.05)、睾酮含量(P<0.01)均显著降低,睾丸组织形态受损(P<0.05)、生精细胞凋亡增多(P<0.01)、MTA2表达量降低(P<0.01)、支持细胞吞噬功能减弱(P<0.01);BPA+CS组较BPA组无明显变化,BPA+SP组以上变化显著改善(P<0.05)。结论:大鲵肌肉蛋白肽对BPA诱导的小鼠生精功能障碍有明显的保护作用,作用机制可能与干预MTA2表达进而增强支持细胞的吞噬作用相关。  相似文献

目的:观察二十二碳六烯酸(DHA)是否通过抑制氧化应激反应减轻七氟烷所致神经元损伤。方法:HT22小鼠海马神经元分为Con组、DHA组和Sevo组和DHA+Sevo组,药物处理各组细胞24 h后,在倒置相差显微镜下拍照记录各组细胞形态改变,采用MTT法检测神经元存活情况,检测各组培养基中LDH, NO, SOD及MDA的含量。结果:CON组和DHA组细胞形态正常,Sevo组细胞皱缩,胞体破裂,正常形态消失,而DHA+Sevo组细胞形态基本正常,皱缩破裂的细胞较少;与CON组和DHA组相比,Sevo组HT22细胞存活率下降至CON组的25.79%,培养液中LDH的漏出量显著增加至CON组的400.15%,SOD活力下降至CON组的30.96%,培养液中NO及MDA的含量分别增加至CON组的507.62%和342.15%(P0.05);而与Sevo组相比,DHA+Sevo组HT22细胞存活率增加至CON组的75.68%,培养液中LDH的漏出量下降至CON组的175.68%,SOD活力增加至CON组的70.48%,培养液中NO及MDA的含量分别下降至CON组的355.80%和192.27%(P0.05)。结论:DHA通过抗氧化应激反应减轻七氟烷对HT22细胞的损伤。  相似文献

BackgroundThe prevalence of some autoimmune diseases is greater in females compared with males, although disease severity is often greater in males. The reason for this sexual dimorphism is unknown, but it may reflect negative selection of Y chromosome-bearing sperm during spermatogenesis or male fetuses early in the course of conception/pregnancy. Previously, we showed that the sexual dimorphism in experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis (EAE) is associated with copy number variation (CNV) in Y chromosome multicopy genes. Here, we test the hypothesis that CNV in Y chromosome multicopy genes influences the paternal parent-of-origin effect on EAE susceptibility in female mice.ResultsWe show that C57BL/6 J consomic strains of mice possessing an identical X chromosome and CNV in Y chromosome multicopy genes exhibit sperm head abnormalities and female-biased sex ratio. This is consistent with X-Y intragenomic conflict arising from an imbalance in CNV between homologous X:Y chromosome multicopy genes. These males also display paternal transmission of EAE to female offspring and differential loading of microRNAs within the sperm nucleus. Furthermore, in humans, families of probands with multiple sclerosis similarly exhibit a female-biased sex ratio, whereas families of probands affected with non-sexually dimorphic autoimmune diseases exhibit unbiased sex ratios.ConclusionsThese findings provide evidence for a mechanism at the level of the male gamete that contributes to the sexual dimorphism in EAE and paternal parent-of-origin effects in female mice, raising the possibility that a similar mechanism may contribute to the sexual dimorphism in multiple sclerosis.

摘要 目的:探究葛根素对产后正常小鼠泌乳作用的影响及其机制,并初步探究葛根素对产后正常小鼠的安全性。方法:将雌、雄KM小鼠以3:1比例合笼配种,得到孕鼠饲养至分娩。分娩后的小鼠随机分为正常对照组、葛根素低剂量(18 mg?kg-1)、高剂量组(72 mg?kg-1),每组8只。从产后第3 d起,每天灌胃一次,共10 d。观察小鼠每日泌乳量变化,ELISA法检测血清中催乳素(PRL)、孕酮(P4)、雌二醇(E2)含量,HE染色观察乳腺、肝、肾、子宫、卵巢组织病理学形态,Western Blot法检测乳腺组织中催乳素受体(PRLR)、酪氨酸激酶 2(JAK2)和信号传导与激活因子5a(STAT5a)的表达。结果:与正常对照组相比,从给药的第6天起,葛根素低剂量组的泌乳量显著升高(P<0.05);葛根素低、高剂量组均可见乳腺小叶内腺泡明显变大,分泌物明显增多,且低剂量组更为明显;葛根素低、高剂量组血清PRL水平明显升高(P<0.01或P<0.05);葛根素低剂量组PRLR的蛋白表达明显增加(P<0.01),而葛根素高剂量组PRLR、JAK2的蛋白表达明显降低(P<0.01)。葛根素低剂量组PRLR、JAK2、STAT5a的蛋白表达明显高于葛根素高剂量组(P<0.01或P<0.05)。结论:葛根素低剂量对产后正常小鼠有一定促进泌乳作用,高剂量时对泌乳作用不明显。葛根素低、高剂量均未对产后正常小鼠的肝、肾、卵巢和子宫产生明显的病理学改变。  相似文献

Exposure to heavy metals not only impacts on fertility in males, it may also affect the offspring. The aim of the present study was to examine the toxic effects of lead acetate on fertility in male mice and their offspring, and the potential effect of quercetin on mitigating the likely effects. Experimental mice were randomly divided into three groups and administered with (i) distilled water (control); (ii) lead acetate (150 mg/kg BW/day); (iii) lead acetate (150 mg/kg BW/day) with quercetin (75 mg/kg BW/day). Lead acetate administration in male mice adversely affected their fertility through changes in sperm motility, viability, morphology, maturity, membrane integrity, and intracellular reactive oxygen species (P < 0.05). Similar findings were observed in the offspring of the lead-treated male mice. Early embryonic development and implantation rate were also adversely influenced in both the sires and offspring when male mice were treated with lead acetate (P < 0.05). The data demonstrated that down-regulation of Cks2 (CDC28 protein kinase regulatory subunit-2) in sperm had an association with early embryonic development in lead acetate treated group. In conclusion, lead acetate administration adversely impacted on the fertility of the male mice and their male offspring fertility; on the other hand, paternal quercetin co-administration somewhat ameliorated the adverse effects of lead on male mice and their offspring.  相似文献

目的:探讨n-6/n-3多不饱和脂肪酸营养失衡对小鼠精子发生的影响。方法:健康的30只C57/B6雄鼠随机分为对照组(CON)、高脂组(HF)、花生四烯酸组(HF+AA)。喂食16周,做合笼实验并记录致孕率,通过精子动力分析仪检测小鼠精子活力和数量的变化,用Elisa试剂盒测血清中睾酮和甘油三酯水平。通过病理组织染色观察小鼠睾丸组织的形态学变化。利用Realtime-PCR的方法检测小鼠睾丸中Dazl基因表达水平的变化。结果:高脂组、花生四烯酸组与对照组相比精子活力[(16±0.01;12.33±2.83 vs72.2±12.73)%,P0.001],精子数量[(7.5±1.13;6±0.14 vs 13.87±0.35)million/m L,P0.001],致孕率[(28.57;14.29 vs 78.57)%,P0.001]及血清睾酮含量[(0.35±0.14;0.27±0.07 vs 3.51±0.7)ng/m L,P0.001]均显著性降低。高脂组、花生四烯酸组与对照组相比,血清中甘油三酯的含量显著增高[(0.74±0.04;0.74±0.04 vs 0.45±0.04)mmol/L,P0.001]。病理组织染色观察到花生四烯酸组小鼠睾丸组织出现了明显异形,曲细精管内部的初级精母细胞明显缺失,管腔中从初级精母细胞到精子的发生过程出现了变异,精子的数量也显著性下降。参与精子生成过程中的减数分裂前的有丝分裂增殖期、精原细胞的发育等过程的Dazl基因在高脂组和花生四烯酸组小鼠睾丸中的表达量与对照组相比显著降低(0.87±0.05;0.65±0.03 vs 1.07±0.04,P0.05)。结论:膳食中n-3/n-6多不饱和脂肪酸失衡会导致雄鼠精子发生发育的障碍  相似文献

Mate choice may have important consequences for offspring sex ratio and fitness of haplodiploid insects. Mate preference of females of the solitary larval parasitoid Microplitis croceipes (Cresson) (Hymenoptera: Braconidae) for virgin and mated males, and vice versa, and the reproductive consequences (i.e., the sex ratio expressed as the proportion of male offspring) were examined in choice and non‐choice experiments. In addition, the effect of repeated rapid and daily copulation of an individual male on the sex ratio of offspring of the female mates was assessed. Males preferred virgins over mated females, whereas females copulated with a male irrespective of his mating status. In both the rapid and daily copulation assay, females copulating with a male that had copulated five times or more produced a higher sex ratio than females that had copulated with a virgin male. Females that copulated with virgin males once or twice produced a significantly and considerably lower sex ratio than females that first copulated with a sperm‐depleted male followed by a virgin male. This indicates that copulating with a sperm‐depleted male has costs and limits acquisition by the female of sperm from virgin males.  相似文献

目的:探讨过氧化氧化还原蛋白2(PRDX2)在乙醇所致的雄性小鼠生殖损害中的作用机制。方法:以雄性昆明小鼠为研究对象,分为对照组及模型组,分别以蒸馏水和乙醇灌胃处理12周,采集血清用于激素水平测定;收集精子,一部分用于精液分析,另一部分用于Q-PCR检测PRDX2、BCL-2、BAX、Caspase3的m RNA表达,Western blot检测PRDX2、BCL-2、BAX、Caspase3和Cleaved-Caspase3的蛋白表达,免疫荧光法鉴定PRDX2的表达;统计分析研究结果。结果:与对照组比较,模型组小鼠的精子活率降低,雌激素水平升高而雄激素水平降低(P0.05);模型组小鼠的PRDX2、BCL-2蛋白及m RNA水平较对照组均降低(P0.05),免疫荧光显示PRDX2可在精子中表达,且模型组小鼠精子的荧光强度明显减低;在BAX及Caspase3 m RNA的表达上,模型组高于对照组(P0.05),模型组小鼠的BAX及Cleaved-Caspase3的蛋白表达亦高于对照组(P0.05);Pearson相关系数分析显示PRDX2与BCl-2呈正相关、与BAX、Caspase3呈负相关,差异均有统计学意义(P0.05)。结论:乙醇造成精子PRDX2表达降低,间接诱导精子发生凋亡,影响精子的生成和发育,损害雄性小鼠的生殖功能。  相似文献

Polygynous parasitoid males may be limited by the amount of sperm they can transmit to females, which in turn may become sperm limited. In this study, I tested the effect of male mating history on copula duration, female fecundity, and offspring sex ratio, and the likelihood that females will have multiple mates, in the gregarious parasitoid Cephalonomia hyalinipennis Ashmead (Hymenoptera: Bethylidae: Epyrinae), a likely candidate for sperm depletion due to its local mate competition system. Males were eager to mate with the seven females presented in rapid succession. Copula duration did not differ with male mating history, but latency before a first mating was significantly longer than before consecutive matings. Male mating history had no bearing on female fecundity (number of offspring), but significantly influenced offspring sex ratio. The last female to mate with a given male produced significantly more male offspring than the first one, and eventually became sperm depleted. In contrast, the offspring sex ratio of first‐mated females was female biased, denoting a high degree of sex allocation control. Once‐mated females, whether sperm‐depleted or not, accepted a second mating after a period of oviposition. Sperm‐depleted females resumed production of fertilized eggs after a second mating. Young, recently mated females also accepted a second mating, but extended in‐copula courtship was observed. Carrying out multiple matings in this species thus seems to reduce the cost of being constrained to produce only haploid males after accepting copulation with a sperm‐depleted male. I discuss the reproductive fitness costs that females experience when mating solely with their sibling males and the reproductive fitness gain of males that persist in mating, even when almost sperm‐depleted. Behavioural observations support the hypothesis that females monitor their sperm stock. It is concluded that C. hyalinipennis is a species with a partial local mating system.  相似文献
