形态分析是生物系统学及其多样性研究中很重要的一部分。随着统计学的发展,我们可以对非常复杂的数据进行分析,这在客观上导致了多变量形态测量的出现。在20世纪80年代,在数据收集和分析上产生了重要突破——标点和标点相对位置的几何信息的匹配,从而可以将多变量分析的标点集叠加到生物原始图上,它不仅仅是生成散点图,而是试图客观反映生物的形态性状。这项研究被称为几何形态测量法(geometricmorphometrics),Rohlf和Marcus(1993)称其为形态测量方法上的一次革命。文章简要介绍了该方法。  相似文献

访花和传粉昆虫对于维持生态系统功能具有重要作用,但我国相关昆虫类群的本底数据非常缺乏。作为基于特定基因序列的物种划分方法, DNA条形码在标本鉴定、新物种发现、生物多样性保护、种群遗传和进化等研究领域具有重要的应用价值。本文报道了福建戴云山国家级自然保护区双翅目、膜翅目和鞘翅目3个类群访花昆虫的815条线粒体COI条形码数据,并详细提供了所获样品的海拔分布信息。该数据集可为地区性昆虫多样性的DNA条形码数据库构建、隐存种发现、海拔梯度物种遗传多样性和生物多样性保护等方面研究提供帮助。  相似文献

全球生物多样性逐渐丧失已成为最严重的环境问题之一, 探究各地生物多样性资源及形成机制是生态学和生物地理学领域关注的重要科学问题。生物多样性数据的整合和共享可以为相关研究的开展提供科学依据。昆虫是地球上多样性最高的生物类群, 但是由于目前关于昆虫多样性数据的整理不足, 相关研究较为缺乏。为了促进昆虫类群的多样性数据整理和共享工作的发展, 本研究选取昆虫纲中重要且多样的半翅目作为对象, 通过广泛的数据检索和收集, 系统整理了截至2017年已发表的中国半翅目昆虫的多样性及地理分布信息。数据集中共收集了102科2,090属7,822种半翅目昆虫的分类信息及其39,298条地理分布记录。该数据集可以为今后开展生物多样性格局、生物区系演化和害虫防治等方面的研究工作提供帮助。  相似文献

中国林蛙与中华蟾蜍蝌蚪颅骨形态的系统进化比较   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
对无尾两栖动物系统进化的研究,主要是基于经典的形态学、现代分子生物学等技术。无尾两栖动物蝌蚪的进化与成体的进化可能是两个独立的过程,所以无尾两栖类蝌蚪形态及发育特征也可以作为研究系统进化的重要指征。本文对中国林蛙(Rana chensinensis)及中华蟾蜍(Bufo gargarizans)变态前蝌蚪的软骨性颅骨及鳃部骨骼进行形态学描述,基于幼体形态特征,进行系统建树。建树结果支持Orton将无尾两栖类蝌蚪划分为4种类型,认为最原始的类群为Ⅲ型蝌蚪,与Tihen的观点一致。新蛙亚目的中国林蛙和中华蟾蜍蝌蚪属Ⅳ型,是最进化的类群。  相似文献

区域生命之树是对一个区域内的所有物种进行生命之树重建,在最近10年已成为生命科学领域的研究热点。生命之树反映了物种间的亲缘关系和进化信息,可以将生物区系形成与发展过程中的进化和生态因素联系起来,是揭示区系来源和演化规律的有效手段。本文从3个方面总结了区域生命之树在植物区系研究中的应用:(1)在时间维度上,通过生命之树类群分化时间和进化速率估算,反映区系演化历史,揭示区系的时间分化格局;(2)在空间维度上,结合系统发育信息与物种分布数据,揭示区系内生物多样性的空间格局,并在此基础上进行区系分区;(3)整合生物地理信息和气候环境数据,分析区系中生物类群对古地理事件以及气候变化的响应机制,以揭示形成现存生物多样性格局的生态、地理和历史因素。此外,我们阐述了区域生命之树与全球生命之树之间的关系;指出由于类群取样不全而造成的时间估算偏差是区域生命之树研究中需要注意的问题;建议对生物多样性热点地区从不同尺度进行大数据的整合分析。  相似文献

A capture-mark-recapture study on the threatened saproxylic beetle Lucanus cervus was carried out in a chestnut (Castanea sativa) woodland located in northern Italy, using visual encounter surveys (VES) as well as aerial flight interception traps and pitfall traps (PT), both of which were baited with different odour lures. In total, 111 males and 25 females were captured, and VES was by far the most efficient method, accounting for 93 % of first captures, and 95 % of all captures. Stag beetles were not significantly attracted to any tested odour, and many PT were damaged by wild boars (Sus scrofa). Flying males were the most frequent adults observed during the season. The use of a net is necessary to capture the stag beetles, in order to evaluate the population parameters and to assess the local status of threat for the species. Capture data revealed that body size (i.e. body weight and elytron length) influences the survival probability of stag beetles, showing a lower survival probability for larger males. Felt-tip pen marking on the ventral sclerites of head and pronotum is a reliable and long lasting method for marking beetles, as proved by the use of an independent marking procedure with a small drill. Assessing the presence and threat status of L. cervus across Europe is urgently needed, and with no efficient odour-based strategy available, collection of adult beetles, dead or alive, by VES is the most reliable way to monitor this emblematic species.  相似文献

Six carabidicolous species of Laboulbeniales are reported as new for the Japanese mycoflora. They areLaboulbenia finitima, L. separata, L. borneensis, L. manubriolata, Dimeromyces caribaeus, andDixomyces ornatus. In Japan, the former three species are parasitic onMochtherus luctuosus and the latter three species onPerigona nigriceps. Laboulbenia finitima occurs on the left legs (tarsi and tibiae);L. separata on the left elytral margin:L. borneensis on the pronotum;L. manubriolata on the pronotum and elytra;Dimeromyces caribaeus on the right inferior posterior surface of the prothorax (pronotal hypomeron); andDixomyces ornatus on the outer margin of the right elytron. 拟科蚱属Cotysoides建立于2000年, 该属的主要特征为体小型; 头顶前缘突出于复眼之前; 触角丝状, 着生于复眼前缘下1/3处; 前胸背板背面密具小瘤突; 中隆线波状, 形成一连串小突起; 后突不超过后足股节顶端; 前胸背板侧片外翻, 后角顶平截; 后翅不达后突顶端; 后足跗节第1节长于第3节。本文记述拟科蚱属6种, 包括1新种, 即断隆拟科蚱Cotysoides interruptus sp. nov. 该新种近似于广西拟科蚱Cotysoides guangxiensis Zheng et Jiang, 2000, 主要区别为: 1)头顶为一眼宽的1.5倍; 2)前胸背板侧片前角钝角形; 3)后翅伸达后足股节膝部; 4)中足股节宽狭于前翅宽; 5)雌性下生殖板后缘中央三角形突出。附有分种检索表、 分布及文献引证。新种的模式标本保存于陕西师范大学动物研究所及西南林业大学博物馆。  相似文献

Radioactivity may have both phenotypic and genetic effects through its disruption of physiological processes and mutations. I studied the size and asymmetry of secondary sexual and ordinary morphological characters of stag beetles ( Lucanus cervus ) in two areas in the Ukraine: near Chernobyl, where levels of radiation are high, and in a control area with low background radiation. Developmental instability of morphological characters was estimated from the degree of fluctuating asymmetry using the restricted maximum likelihood parameter estimation (REML) method to partition measurement error from asymmetry. The degree of asymmetry estimated from unsigned differences in size of right and left secondary sexual character was similar to estimates based on the REML method. Beetles from the contaminated area had a significantly elevated level of fluctuating asymmetry in the secondary sexual character compared with animals from the control area. Male stag beetles found with a female had significantly lower asymmetry than males found alone. While mated males did not differ in asymmetry between areas, unmated males from Chernobyl were much more asymmetric than unmated males from the control area. These findings provide evidence for radiation disrupting developmental homeostasis, and thereby affecting the mating status of free-living beetles.  相似文献

采用扫描电镜技术研究成都市农泉驿区危害葡萄的小蠹——光滑足距小蠹Xylosandrus germanus(Blandford)的形态特征。该小蠹具有明显的性二型现象。成虫光亮。雌成虫圆柱形,体长2.02~2.26mm,雄成虫较宽扁,体长1.00~1.30mm。在扫描电镜下,可见成虫前胸前缘的刻点毛均从基部分成两叉,但雌成虫略呈锯齿状,雄成虫呈栉齿状。雌成虫具有贮菌器,位于前胸背板的后端下面。雌成虫鞘翅分为沟中和沟间部,后半部细长毛起自沟间部,雄成虫鞘翅不分沟中和沟间部,后半部部分刻点生有细长毛。  相似文献

Sexual dimorphism and allometry in two seed beetles (Coleoptera: Bruchidae)   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
Male Callosobruchus chinensis (Coleoptera: Bruchidae) have elaborated, pectinate antennae, which are absent from conspecific females and both sexes of a congener, Callosobruchus maculatus. To begin to unravel the mechanisms producing this striking dimorphism, we examined which morphological traits best explain body size variation in bruchid beetles and quantified sexual dimorphism of antenna size through allometric analyses. Using principal component analyses, we found that elytron length and pronotum width were significantly correlated with the first principal component, which was interpreted as explaining variation in body size. Regressions of log‐transformed body size measures on log‐transformed antenna length revealed that males of both species had longer antennae than conspecific females for any given body size, although most of this effect was attributable to higher intercepts, rather than increased allometry, in males. Comparisons among heterospecific males revealed that C. maculatus males have noticeably longer antennae than C. chinensis males at large body sizes. Callosobruchus chinensis males, thus, appear to have increased the receptive area of their antennae by adding to the width of, rather than further elongating, their antennae. Finally, we found evidence for positive allometry between log‐transformed antenna length and log‐transformed antenna width in C. chinensis males. We discuss our results in the context of evidence supporting the presence of an additional, and potentially unique, sex pheromone in C. chinensis females.  相似文献

Loss of the flight ability and wing reduction has been reported for many taxa of Coleoptera. If elytra are closed, their roots are clenched between the tergum and the pleuron, forces applied to the elytra can not be transmitted to the field of campaniform sensilla situated on the root. That is why it is plausible to assume that the field becomes redundant in non-flying beetles. We examined the relationships between the hind wing reduction and characters of this mechanosensory field in beetles of six families. We measured the size of the elytron, that of the hind wing and counted the number of sensilla in the sensory field. Mesopterous non-flying beetles retain one half to one third of sensilla present in macropterous species of the same body size. Further reduction of the sensory field in brachypterous species is obvious, but sensilla are still present in insects with strongly reduced wings, as long as their elytra are separable and mesothoracic axillaries are present. Complete loss of sensilla coincides with the existence of a permanent sutural lock. However, some beetles with permanently locked elytra and absence of axillaries still retain few campaniform sensilla. A very special case of an extreme wing modification in feather-wing beetles is considered. No sensilla were revealed either on the root of the elytron or on the basal segment of such fringed wings in flying ptiliid species.  相似文献

Despite plenty of data in insects shape variation,papers on environmental factors effect on such variation are scarce and in ground beetles are practically absent.The aim of this research was to:(i) model the effect of the region of habitation,urbanization and habitat vegetation into the shape variation in widespread carabid species;(ii) describe sexual shape dimorphism in studied species.Samples were pitfall trapped in different regions of its area in the spectrum of anthropogenic influence (cities,suburbs,natural biotopes).One thousand and one hundred sixty-eight specimens were analyzed for six morphometric traits and terminal points of those measurements were used as landmarks for Procrustes analysis.We used linear models to reveal which factor (region,urbanization or vegetation) and in what direction affected beetles shape.Results showed that males in C.granulatus had more convex elytra and head,and the more convex in apical-basal direction pronotum.In its area from the east to the west elytra flattened in medial-distal direction and pronotum flattened in apical-distal direction.In disturbed urban environment beetles pronotum became more convex in both sexes and males elytra became more convex too.In open habitats (meadows,lawns) beetles became more flattened.  相似文献
