Aims
Fine root is an important part of the forest carbon cycle. The growth of fine roots is usually affected by forest intervention. This study aims to investigate the fine root mass, production, and turnover in the disturbed forest.Methods
The seasonal and vertical distributions of fine root (diameter ≤2 mm) were measured in a Chinese cork oak (Quercus variabilis Blume) forest. The biomass and necromass of roots with diameters ≤1 mm and 1-2 mm in 0-40 cm soil profiles were sampled by using a sequential soil coring method in the stands after clear cutting for 3 years, with the stands of the remaining intact trees as the control.Results
The fine root biomass (FRB) and fine root necromass (FRN) varied during the growing season and reached their peak in August. Lower FRB and higher FRN were found in the clear cutting stands. The ratio between FRN and FRB increased after forest clear cutting compared with the control and was the highest in June. The root mass with diameter ≤1 mm was affected proportionately more than that of diameter 1-2 mm root. Clear cutting reduced FRB and increased FRN of roots both ≤1 mm and 1-2 mm in diameter along the soil depths. Compared with the control, the annual fine root production and the average turnover rate decreased by 30.7 % and 20.7 %, respectively, after clear cutting for 3 years. The decline of canopy cover contributed to the dramatic fluctuation of soil temperature and moisture from April to October. With redundancy discriminate analysis (RDA) analysis, the first axis was explained by soil temperature (positive) and moisture (negative) in the control stands. Aboveground stand structure, including canopy cover, sprout height, and basal area, influenced FRB and FRN primarily after forest clear cutting.Conclusions
This study suggested that the reduction of fine root biomass, production, and turnover rate can be attributed to the complex changes that occur after forest intervention, including canopy damage, increased soil temperature, and degressive soil moisture. 相似文献2.

CD1d molecules are structurally similar to MHC class I, but present lipid antigens as opposed to peptides. Here, we show that MHC class I molecules physically associate with (and regulate the functional expression of) mouse CD1d on the surface of cells. Low pH (3.0) acid stripping of MHC class I molecules resulted in increased surface expression of murine CD1d on antigen presenting cells as well as augmented CD1d-mediated antigen presentation to NKT cells. Consistent with the above results, TAP1-/- mice were found to have a higher percentage of type I NKT cells as compared to wild type mice. Moreover, bone marrow-derived dendritic cells from TAP1-/- mice showed increased antigen presentation by CD1d compared to wild type mice. Together, these results suggest that MHC class I molecules can regulate NKT cell function, in part, by masking CD1d. 相似文献

基于2003-2012年太湖竺山湖和西部沿岸区水体理化指标与浮游植物丰度的逐月监测数据,分析了两个湖区氮磷营养盐状态和浮游植物丰度以及浮游植物主要类群的年际变化趋势及季节变化特征,探讨了浮游植物群落变化与水温及营养盐指标间的关系。结果表明:10年间两个湖区氮磷营养盐浓度总体呈下降趋势,以竺山湖TN、NH3-N浓度和西部沿岸区NO3-N浓度下降最为显著;浮游植物丰度总体呈上升趋势,蓝藻在群落结构中日益占据绝对优势;季节变化上,氮营养盐浓度表现为春冬季节高于夏秋季节,TP浓度和浮游植物丰度呈相反的变化趋势。Pearson相关分析显示,水温、NH3-N浓度和TN/TP是影响蓝藻丰度及其在浮游植物群落中所占比例的主要因素。在温度和营养盐结构的共同作用下,10年间两个湖区蓝藻水华暴发时间逐渐提前,而消退时间逐渐滞后,水华持续时间逐年上升。在全球变暖背景下,太湖水华治理需执行更加严格的氮磷限制阈值,且在重污染的西北湖区控磷依然是关键。 相似文献

维生素B6是一组可相互转换的吡啶衍生物的总称,包括吡哆醇、吡哆胺、吡哆醛、磷酸吡哆醇、磷酸吡哆胺和磷酸吡哆醛。其中,磷酸吡哆醛是140多种细胞酶的辅酶。至今发现两种VB6从头合成途径,DXP(1-脱氧-D-木酮糖-5-磷酸)依赖途径和DXP非依赖途径,前者仅存在于大肠杆菌和少量其他细菌,后者存在于其他所有VB6自养生物。除了VB6的从头合成,所有细胞生物体内还存在一条相似的补救途径,补救途径实现VB6各型的代谢转换。该文对近年来国内外有关植物VB6从头合成和代谢转换研究进展进行综述。 相似文献

Tnnt2, encoding thin‐filament sarcomeric protein cardiac troponin T, plays critical roles in heart development and function in mammals. To develop an inducible genetic deletion strategy in myocardial cells, we generated a new Tnnt2:MerCreMer (Tnnt2MerCreMer/+) knock‐in mouse. Rosa26 reporter lines were used to examine the specificity and efficiency of the inducible Cre recombinase. We found that Cre was specifically and robustly expressed in the cardiomyocytes at embryonic and adult stages following tamoxifen induction. The knock‐in allele on Tnnt2 locus does not impact cardiac function. These results suggest that this new Tnnt2MerCreMer/+ mouse could be applied towards the temporal genetic deletion of genes of interests in cardiomyocytes with Cre‐LoxP technology. Weak acid resistance limits the application of Bifidobacteria as a probiotic in food. The acid tolerance response (ATR), caused by pre-stressing cells at a sublethal pH, could improve the acid resistance of Bifidobacteria to subsequent acid stress. In this study, we used Bifidobacterium longum sub. longum BBMN68 to investigate the effect of the ATR on the acid stress response (ASR), and compared the difference between the ATR and the ASR by analyzing the two-dimensional-PAGE protein profiles and performing physiological tests. The results revealed that a greater abundance of proteins involved in carbohydrate metabolism and protein protection was present after the ASR than after the ATR in Bifidobacterium. Pre-stressing cells increased the abundance of proteins involved in energy production, amino acid metabolism, and peptidoglycan synthesis during the ASR of Bifidobacterium. Moreover, after the ASR, the content of ATP, NH3, thiols, and peptidoglycan, the activity of H+-ATPase, and the maintenance of the intracellular pH in the pre-stressed Bifidobacterium cells was significantly higher than in the uninduced cells. These results provide the first explanation as to why the resistance of Bifidobacterium to acid stress improved after pre-stressing. 相似文献

摘要:【目的】研究灰葡萄孢菌(Botrytis cinerea)基因组中T-DNA插入位点的整合模式特征。【方法】利用农杆菌(Agrobactirium tumfacience)介导法构建灰葡萄孢菌T-DNA插入突变体库。利用热不对称交错PCR(TAIL-PCR)技术对转化子中T-DNA的旁侧序列进行扩增和克隆,对获得的旁侧序列进行比对分析。【结果】T-DNA插入在灰葡萄孢菌基因组非编码区的占69%,插入在外显子的占30%。T-DNA在插入的过程中发生了碱基缺失、增加等重组现象,其中左边界(left border,LB)整合到基因组碱基缺失较少,有的保持完整,而右边界(right border,RB)及其近邻的T-DNA区域缺失碱基较多。T-DNA的插入位点还发现有额外的序列插入。【结论】对灰葡萄孢菌中插入T-DNA的整合模式的分析为开展该菌的功能基因组学奠定了基础。 相似文献

大田条件下研究了30个水稻基因型的干物质与N、P、K、Si积累特性及其相互关系.结果表明,水稻干物质积累总量随N、P、K和Si积累总量的增加呈直线增加,其相关系数早季和晚季均达极显著水平.同时,N、P、K、Si积累的平衡有利于干物质积累,干物质积累量随NBI(养分平衡指数)直线增加,随NDI(养分偏离指数)直线下降.30个水稻品种平均N、P、K、Si积累总量比值早季为3.76:1:4.55:7.10,晚季为2.88:1:4.54:8.09.干物质积累能力以中期最强,前期最弱,而N积累能力却以前期最强,后期最弱.水稻抽穗前积累的干物质主要分配在茎鞘中,当抽穗期茎鞘比率达到最大时,茎鞘重约为叶片重的2倍,而抽穗前积累的N主要分配在叶片中,叶片中N的分配比率全生育期均比干物质分配比率高.成熟期积累的干物质、N和P主要分配在穗部,早、晚季稻的平均分配比率分别为58.01%、66.42%和70.06%,而K主要分配在茎鞘中,早、晚季稻的平均分配比率为62.08%.早季Si在茎中的分配比率(43.11%)最大,而晚季却以穗中的分配比率(46.99%)最大. 相似文献

The effects of litter incorporation and nitrogen application on the properties of rhizosphere and bulk soils of tea plants (Camellia sinensis (L.) O. Kuntze) were examined in a pot experiment. Total of 8 treatments included four levels of tea litter additions at 0, 4.9, 9.8, and 24.5 g kg–1 in combination with two N levels (154.6 mg kg–1 and without). After 18 months of growth the rhizosphere soil was collected by removing the soil adhering to plant roots and other soil was referred to as bulk soil. The dry matter productions of tea plants were significantly increased by N fertilization and litter incorporation. The effect of litter was time-depending and significantly decreased the content of exchangeable Al (Alex, by 1 mol L–1 KCl) and Al saturation at 9 months after litter incorporation whereas soil pH was not affected, although the litter contained high Al content. After 18 months, the contents of extractable Al by dilute CaCl2, CuCl2 + KCl, NH4OAC, ammonium oxalate and sodium citrate (AlCaCl2, AlCu/KCl, AlNH4OAC, AlOxal, and AlCit respectively) and Alex, were not affected by litter application, except that of AlCaCl2 in the rhizosphere soil which was decreased following litter additions. Nitrogen fertilization with NH4
+ (urea and (NH4)2SO4) significantly reduced soil pH, the contents of exchangeable Ca, K, Mg and base saturation while raised extractable Al levels (AlCaCl2, AlCu/KCl, AlNH4OAC, and Alex). In the rhizosphere soils exchangeable K accumulated in all treatments while exchangeable Ca and Mg depleted in treatments without litter application. The depletions of Ca and Mg were no longer observed following litter incorporation. This change of distribution gradients in rhizosphere was possibly due to the increase of nutrient supplies from litter decomposition and/or preferable root growth in soil microsites rich in organic matter. Lower pH and higher extractable Al (AlCaCl2, Alex, and AlNH4OAC) in the rhizosphere soils, regardless of N and litter treatments, were distinct and consistent in all treatments. Such enrichments of extractable Al in the rhizosphere soil might be of importance for tea plants capable of taking up large amounts of Al. 相似文献
