应用解剖学方法,对铁筷子(Helleborus thibetanusFranch.)(毛茛科)营养器官的结构进行了研究。结果表明,铁筷子根的初生结构观察到三原型、四原型和六原型。营养器官中的维管束在横切面上木质部中的导管分子不呈“V”字形排列;根状茎的次生结构由外向内为表皮、皮层和维管柱,髓射线发达。茎的初生结构中多个维管束排列成环状,维管束鞘分化不明显,节部为单隙三迹,叶迹分别来自于3条维管束或同一条维管束。叶为两面叶,表皮细胞不规则;气孔器只分布于下表皮,为毛茛科典型的无规则型气孔。从铁筷子营养器官的解剖学特点来看,与毛茛科其它植物基本相同,但在营养器官中维管束木质部不呈“V”字形、维管束鞘分化不明显、节部具单叶隙等特征上与其它毛茛科植物不同。  相似文献

为探究乌苏里鼠李(Rhamnus ussuriensis)茎叶的解剖结构对环境的适应性机理,采用石蜡切片及扫描电镜技术,对乌苏里鼠李叶片、茎的解剖结构进行研究。结果表明:乌苏里鼠李叶片为典型异面叶,表皮毛和气孔均分布在下表皮,气孔指数为39.04%;栅栏组织由2层薄壁组织细胞组成,结构紧密,海绵组织排列疏松。叶片主脉发达,维管束呈环状排列,木质部导管数量较多,直径较大,维管束周围薄壁组织细胞后含物丰富。在茎的初生结构中,表皮细胞角质层较厚,皮层薄壁组织细胞内含有晶簇,维管束为外韧无限维管束,髓部发达;茎的次生结构中年轮显明,为典型的环孔材,有凹下的皮孔,次生木质部发达,导管以螺纹导管与孔纹导管居多,导管分子多为复管孔;射线以单列射线为主,偶见双列射线。乌苏里鼠李叶片、茎的解剖结构具有明显的抗逆特性,能够较好的适应干旱、寒冷环境。  相似文献

采用石蜡切片和光学显微技术对闽楠(Phoebe bournei(Hemsl.)Yang)营养器官的解剖结构及其生态适应性进行了研究。结果显示,闽楠为典型异面叶,叶片中脉发达,维管束呈扇形,导管径向排列,韧皮部外侧有大量韧皮纤维分布。上表皮外侧具角质层,下表皮外侧无角质层,下表皮细胞呈犬牙状向外凸起,有表皮毛和气孔分布,气孔为双环型、外凸;栅栏组织由1层细胞组成,海绵组织由3~4层细胞组成。茎的初生结构中,表皮轻微角质化,厚角细胞5~6层,薄壁细胞5~7层,维管束为外韧型;茎的次生结构中,表皮外部角质层加厚,木栓层细胞3~4层,木栓形成层细胞1层,栓内层细胞2~3层,维管束紧密排列连成环状,次生韧皮部和次生木质部发达,形成层细胞2~3层。根的次生结构中木栓层细胞5~6层,木栓层内侧具1层木栓形成层,栓内层细胞2层。闽楠营养器官的解剖结构特征一方面呈现出阴生植物的特点,另一方面也对阳生和旱生环境具有一定的适应性。  相似文献

采用徒手切片法对新疆木灵藓属(Orthotrichum Hedw.)18种植物孢蒴上的气孔、茎和叶进行了比较解剖学观察。研究结果表明,木灵藓属植物茎横切结构形状稳定,由表皮和皮层组成,无中轴细胞分化;除半裸木灵藓(Orthotrichum hallii Sull.et Lesq.)外,其它种叶上部均为单层细胞;叶中部边缘外卷,叶细胞具有高度不同的分叉疣或单疣。在确定气孔显、隐型的基础上,茎和叶横切面的颜色、茎表皮和皮层细胞组成及细胞壁加厚程度、叶细胞疣的高度、叶中肋横切面的形状、中肋的宽度、细胞组成以及芽孢形态等特征可作为该属种间分类的依据。还根据18种木灵藓属植物孢蒴上的气孔显、隐型,及茎、叶的比较解剖学特征,编制了新疆木灵藓属植物的分种检索表。  相似文献

试验材料为一株260节、长约42m的小钩叶藤(PlectocomiamicrostachysBurret).分析了藤茎下列特性的轴向变异:表皮细胞的垂周长度和外壁厚度、皮层宽度、维管束的密度和纤维鞘/维管组织比值、后生木质部导管分子的长度和宽度、纤维长度,以及节间的长度和直径。节间长度、导管分子长度及纤维长度的轴向变异一致.这三项特性反映茎的生长活力.  相似文献

传统中药白芍原植物分类鉴定及根形态解剖研究   总被引:3,自引:0,他引:3  
对我国主产地的白芍(Radix Paeonia alba)原植物10个居群进行调查及标本采集,植物鉴定结果为:川白芍原植物粉红花居群为原变种芍药Paeonia lactiflora Pall,白花居群为芍药变种毛果芍药P.lactiflora var.trichocarpa(Bunge)Stern;毫白芍原植物线条居群和蒲棒居群均为芍药;杭白芍原植物红花、白花、粉红花居群均为毛果芍药;陕西韩城、江苏东海、山东荷泽白芍均为芍药,各居群在花色及形态上有明显而稳定的变异。根横切面解剖结构显示,按木质部的排列方式可将白芍原植物10个居群分为两大类:第一类为有呈两个不相连的扇形中央导管群,并且有狭长、具分枝的从形成层到根中央部分连续排列的木质部,基本上是原植物芍药的植物特征,其中毫白芍线条居群兼有毛果芍药和芍药的特征;第二类为具有不明显的根中央扇形导管束,导管束呈环状围绕中央排列,并且有粗短不分枝的靠近形成层处成群的导管,与原植物毛果芍药的特征基本一致,其中杭白芍红花居群与川白芍白花居群根中央导管群呈现较明显的2个分离扇形排列,类似芍药。白芍原植物的种分类定位与花色无密切关联,但由于性状的稳定,可以考虑作为变种或变型定位。  相似文献

通过负染和超薄切片观察到蝴蝶兰(Phalaenopsis amabilis)病叶中线状和杆状病毒颗粒。组织切片观察,同时发现两种病毒粒子的典型聚集体:线状粒子的带状聚集体,粒子多层排列,层间呈一定角度或螺旋相叠;杆状粒子的平行、角层状或螺旋型排列聚集体。二种病毒聚集体均出现于薄壁细胞、细胞间隙和输导组织细胞中。感病细胞中叶绿体发育不全;线粒体增生、肿胀甚至空化;细胞核膨大、空化。进一步的多重RT-PCR与病毒核酸序列分析,同时扩增到建兰花叶病毒(CymMV)和齿兰环斑病毒(ORSV)的外壳蛋白基因,与GenBank已知分离物同源性分别达到98%和99%-100%。从细胞和分子层面揭示了蝴蝶兰受CymMV和ORSV复合侵染并可能导致严重病症的事实,分析和明确了感病兰细胞超微结构的病变特征以及田间病症发生的细胞病理学依据。  相似文献

小麦芒的横切面呈锐角三角形,而大麦芒呈钝角三角形。芒的二个侧面上具有成带状排列的气孔,气孔带下方为绿色组织。绿色细胞是由薄壁细胞分化来的,发育完全的绿色细胞具有突起,细胞间有很大的空隙。麦芒叶绿体的片层结构发达,内含淀粉粒,芒中有3条有限外韧型维管束,靠近绿色细胞的外鞘细胞中含有叶绿体。绿色细胞中的光合产物可能通过鞘细胞和伴胞进入筛管,麦芒的光合强度和开花期最高,可达20μmolCO2·m^-2·  相似文献

本文研究了江豚脊髓的形态和内部构造,首次报道鲸类脊髓灰质分层和神经核的对应关系,并发现在胸段8—13节 、腰尾段1一6节等白质的侧索中有特殊细胞群,以多极或小三角形细胞为多,也有少数棱形细胞,呈串珠状排列或散在分布,分别与背角I- Ⅴ层相联系,它们显示出与感觉传导系有关,作者认为应分别称之为胸外侧核和腰尾外倒核。  相似文献

Chitosan salts with two medical organic acids having phenyl groups (salicylic and gentisic acids) exhibited fiber diffraction patterns of a new type of crystal which does not compare with known types I and II. The crystals, called type III salts, showed a fiber repeat of 2.550 nm and a meridional reflection at the 5th layer line. These results coupled with a conformational analysis indicate the chain conformation of chitosan with the salts to be a 5/3 helix, this helix differing from those of type I (an extended two-fold helix) and type II (a relaxed two-fold helix or a 4/1 helix). The fiber patterns of all the type III salts were similar. This observation has also been found with type II salts and is an indication that the acid ions are not arranged in regular positions in the crystals. A comparison of solid-state 13C-NMR spectra of the gentisic acid salt and the aspirin salt, which could not be crystallized, suggests that, in the latter salt, the chitosan molecules also formed a 5/3 helix.  相似文献

Bonnier's equation is used to mathematically estimate the frequency of monozygotic (MZ) twinning in epidemiologic studies of twinning in dairy cattle; however, no empirical determination of MZ twinning has been reported in the literature. Our objectives were to empirically determine the frequency of MZ twinning in lactating Holstein cows and to compare this result with published estimates predicted using Bonnier's equation. Ear biopsies were collected from 107 sets of Holstein twins from six Wisconsin dairies resulting in 40 opposite-sex twins, 29 same-sex male twins, and 38 same-sex female twins. To empirically determine the frequency of MZ twinning, DNA extracted from ear biopsies collected from the 67 same-sex twins was PCR amplified using primers for a minimum of 5 polymorphic microsatellite DNA markers. Opposite-sex twins were classified as dizygotic (DZ) as well as same-sex twins differing in at least one microsatellite DNA marker. Same-sex twins were classified as MZ when all genotypes for a minimum of five markers were identical. Of the 67 same-sex twins, 62 were classified as DZ and 5 MZ resulting in a MZ twinning frequency of 7.5% of same-sex twins and 4.7% of all twins. The estimated frequency of MZ twinning in this population of twin calves using Bonnier's equation was 39.5% of same-sex twins and 24.7% of all twins. We concluded that MZ twinning occurred infrequently in Holstein cattle and perhaps less frequently than that reported in studies using Bonnier's equation to estimate MZ twinning.  相似文献

The 5' processing of rat pre-tRNA(Lys) and a series of mutant derivatives by rat cytosolic RNase P was examined. In standard, non-kinetic assays, mutant precursors synthesized in vitro with 5' leader sequences of 10, 17, 24, 25, and 46 nucleotides were processed to approximately equal levels and yielded precisely cleaved 5' processed intermediates with the normal 7-base pair aminoacyl stems. The construct containing the tRNA(Lys) with the 46-nucleotide leader was modified by PCR to give a series of pre-tRNA(Lys) mutants designed to measure the effect on processing by (1) substituting the nucleotide at the +1 position, (2) pairing and unpairing the +1 and +72 bases, (3) elongating the aminoacyl stem, and (4) disrupting the helix of the aminoacyl stem. Comparative kinetic analyses revealed that changing the wild type +1G to A, C, or U was well tolerated by the RNase P provided that compensatory changes at +72 created a base pair or a G.U noncanonical pair. Mutants with elongated aminoacyl stems that were produced either by inserting an additional base pair at +3:a + 69:a or by pairing the -1A with a +73U, were processed to yield 7-base pair aminoacyl stems, but with different efficiencies. The efficiency seen with the double insertion mutant was higher than even the wild type precursor, but the -1A-U + 73 mutant was a relatively poor substrate. Disrupting the aminoacyl stem helix by introducing a +7G G + 66 mispairing or by inserting a single G at the +3:a position dramatically reduced the processing efficiency, although the position of cleavage occurred precisely at the wild type cleavage site. However, the single insertion of a C at the +69:a position resulted in an efficiently cleaved precursor, but permitted a minor, secondary cleavage within the leader between the -6 and -5 nucleotides in addition to the dominant wild type scission.  相似文献

The 'insurance ova' hypothesis (Anderson, 1990) views dizygotic twinning as a by-product of selection for multiple ovulation which sometimes--in error--results in the birth of twins. From this viewpoint, polyovulation is a mechanism which reduces the risks of fertilization failure or embryo defect/mortality. If DZ twin births are a 'side-effect' of a mechanism which compensates for defective embryos one might predict that embryo defect rates and twinning rates will covary. This prediction is tested using national-level data on twinning rates and rates of trisomy-21 (Down's syndrome), and a strong positive correlation is found, even when controlling for maternal age. One suggestion that follows from this finding is that intra- and interpopulation variation in both twinning rates and Down's syndrome rates may result, in part, from individual variation in pre-implantation rejection of embryos in the very early stages of pregnancy. In this paper it is proposed that the 'insurance ova' explanation for twinning in humans could be expanded to incorporate a model of rejection of anomalous embryos, be they anomalies of number or type. Variation in the efficiency of an embryo rejection mechanism, combined with variation in frequency of polyovulation, would have consequences for individual reproductive success.  相似文献

The three-dimensional construction of stem xylem in tropical lianas (woody vines) was studied using several approaches: 1. observations of the xylem surface in stems with bark removed after NaOH treatment or natural retting; 2. reconstructions from serial transverse sections; 3. movement of dye solutions up isolated xylem sectors in intact plants, and 4. flow of dye solutions down branches and xylem sectors in isolated stem segments. Long distance (up to several metres) xylem pathways in unbranched stems and connections between lateral branches and main stems are described for !5 species in eight families which represented seven differnt patterns of secondary growth. The xylem in even the most complex stems is integrated by three-dimensional interconnections of xylem regions which may appear isolated in transverse section. Interconnections are most common at leaf and branch nodes. Some old stems have peripheral xylem that remains isolated over long distances in unbranched stems, but even these had structural and physiological interconnections between xylem regions at branch nodes.  相似文献

Mutants were recovered in a population of cybrids formed following protoplast fusion between tomato (Lycopersicon esculentum Mill.) cv UC82 and Lycopersicon pennellii Corr. The cybrids were identified as individuals with recombinant cytoplasmic genomes but only tomato nuclear genomes. The mutants were identified based on two features, a variegated sectoring of light and dark green regions on their leaves, stems, and fruit, and reduced growth in the field. The mutants produced 50% of the shoot fresh weight and 20% of the fruit fresh weight of the parental type, UC82. The variegated sectoring was maternally inherited. The chloroplast genome in the mutants was indistinguishable from the chloroplast genome in UC82, when distribution of restriction endonuclease sites was used as an assay. The mitochondrial genome in the mutants, however, was recombinant, containing genes from UC82 and L. pennellii. Light microscopic analysis of the leaves of the mutants demonstrated an absence of the palisade layer in the variegated sectors. Electron microscopic analysis of these same regions demonstrated an absence of normal inner membranes in the mitochondria of these cells.  相似文献

Bacterial double-stranded RNA-specific RNase III recognizes the A-form of an RNA helix with little sequence specificity. In contrast, baker yeast RNase III (Rnt1p) selectively recognizes NGNN tetraloops even when they are attached to a B-form DNA helix. To comprehend the general mechanism of RNase III substrate recognition, we mapped the Rnt1p binding signal and directly compared its substrate specificity to that of both Escherichia coli RNase III and fission yeast RNase III (PacI). Rnt1p bound but did not cleave long RNA duplexes without NGNN tetraloops, whereas RNase III indiscriminately cleaved all RNA duplexes. PacI cleaved RNA duplexes with some preferences for NGNN-capped RNA stems under physiological conditions. Hydroxyl radical footprints indicate that Rnt1p specifically interacts with the NGNN tetraloop and its surrounding nucleotides. In contrast, Rnt1p interaction with GAAA-capped hairpins was weak and largely unspecific. Certain duality of substrate recognition was exhibited by PacI but not by bacterial RNase III. E. coli RNase III recognized RNA duplexes longer than 11 bp with little specificity, and no specific features were required for cleavage. On the other hand, PacI cleaved long, but not short, RNA duplexes with little sequence specificity. PacI cleavage of RNA stems shorter than 27 bp was dependent on the presence of an UU-UC internal loop two nucleotides upstream of the cleavage site. These observations suggest that yeast RNase IIIs have two recognition mechanisms, one that uses specific structural features and another that recognizes general features of the A-form RNA helix.  相似文献

The level of flavonoids does not change significantly when the main stem of plants cultivated in a controlled environment change from the short upright type to the twining type, but the quantity of cafeic acids derivatives is greater. The flavonoid content changes with temperature and light, with no correlation between the variation in elongation rate and stem type. Nevertheless, stems maintained in the short upright stage at a temperature of 15° are richer in derivatives of esculetin, ferulic acid and p-coumaric acid. The flavonoid content of these short upright main stems resemble that of short upright lateral stems grown under natural conditions. In the controlled environment, the axillary buds of the main stem give rise to short upright lateral stems and twining lateral stems which possess the same flavonoids as lateral stems under natural conditions. There is no evidence of any relationship between the stem type and the flavonol content and this group of compounds are not responsible for circumnutation in Periploca graeca.  相似文献
