Excavation and Application of Ideological-Political Elements in Microbiology Course

As a new concept of comprehensive education and curriculum outlook, curriculum thought and politics education is an inevitable move for colleges and universities to cultivate socialist builders and successors with comprehensive development of moral quality, intellectual ability, physical fitness and aesthetic appreciation. This paper discusses the pedagogic practice of curriculum thought and politics in microbiology course, including the importance of curriculum thought and politics in specialized courses, the excavation of thought and political elements in the courses of microbiology as well as how to effectively implement thought and politics education in microbiology, so as to ensure proper integration of thought and politics education based on the pedagogic objectives of microbiology content, to achieve and strive for the goal of "thought and political education in curriculum" in the whole process and moreover to build a new pattern of "thought and politics education".
