The huge asiatic area does not show clear cut traditions but only fundamental tendencies proper to the human mind considered in its whole evolution mechanism. These tendencies are both clear and powerful: lightness of the skulls, technical blanks lighter, bone tools, pendants, and high mobility. The cultural European categories cannot be applied as such since the anthropological units were fuzzy, just like the huge steppes where they have developed. Europe just represents marginal caricatures and fixed of these general movements acting like waves perpetual and powerful.  相似文献

黑龙江十八站遗址的新材料与年代   总被引:6,自引:0,他引:6  
黑龙江省十八站遗址经过再次调查发掘,地层中出土石制品38件,地表采集20件。石核具有修理台面和对向剥片的技术,石片中石叶技术特征明显,石叶技术与水洞沟遗址相近,石器以轻型为主,主要类型为刮削器。采集的两面器和端刮削器则在华北地区、俄罗斯远东地区南部的几个遗址中有相似标本发现。采用光释光的方法对遗址的绝对年代进行测定,结果为距今2.5—1万年。  相似文献

石叶(Blade)是旧石器时代重要的石制品类型之一, 中国对石叶的研究始于1923年水洞沟遗址的发掘,然而目前对石叶的定义仍有所不同; 且着重于形态(如长宽比)的定义在实际操作时容易扩大石叶的范围。本文重新审视石叶的定义, 着重强调其技术和背脊属性, 将石叶定义为, 从预制有平直脊的石核上剥制的两侧边中上部平行或近平行, 背面有平直的脊, 长度一般为宽度的两倍以上, 宽度超过12mm的石片。打制石器的形态变异大, 遗址中常出现一些形态上类似石叶的石片, 但其缺乏明显的石叶技术,这类产品可称为"长石片"。确定遗址中是否存在石叶的关键是, 深入分析遗址中是否存在石叶石核及石叶技术; 只有以"操作链"的思想, 考察石叶产生的过程, 才能有效地确定石叶技术的存在与否。  相似文献

It is widely believed that the change from discoidal flake production to prismatic blade-making during the Middle-Upper Paleolithic transition in Europe led to enhanced technological efficiency. Specifically, blade-making is thought to promote higher rates of blank production, more efficient and complete reduction of the parent core, and a large increase in the total length of cutting edge per weight of stone. Controlled replication experiments using large samples, computer-assisted measurements, and statistical tests of several different measures failed to support any of these propositions. When resharpened, the use-life of flake edges actually surpasses that of blades of equivalent mass because the narrower blades are more rapidly exhausted by retouch. Our results highlight the need to replace static measurements of edge length that promote an illusion of efficiency with a more dynamic approach that takes the whole reduction sequence into account. An unexpected by-product of our replications was the discovery that real gains in cutting-edge length per weight of stone are linked to surface area. There is now a need to test the proposition that all the perceived advantages currently bestowed upon blades only occurred during the shift from macroblade to bladelet production. If our results are duplicated in further experiments, the notion of "economical" blades will have to be rejected and alternative explanations sought for their appearance in the early Upper Paleolithic. While Aurignacian bladelet (Dufour) production could signal the advent of composite tool technology (wooden handles or shafts with bladelet inserts), this does not help to explain why macroblades were also produced in large numbers. We may need to reexamine the notion that macroblades were of more symbolic than functional significance to their makers.  相似文献

2004年5-6月,中国科学院古脊椎动物与古人类研究所和新疆文物考古研究所联合组队,在新疆北部和中部进行了旧石器时代考古调查。发现24个石器地点和数千件石制品,采集和试掘出500余件石制品;绝大多数石制品来自于地表,少数出自原生地层。石制品类型多样,包括普通石核与石片、棱柱状石核、石叶、两面器、细石叶石核、细石叶、勒瓦娄哇石核与石片等;原料种类多样,尺寸、形态、技术变异大。从技术与类型判断,这些不同地点的文化材料时代跨度较大,较早的可能属旧石器时代晚期之初,甚至旧石器时代中期,较晚的则可能属于新石器时代早中期。较早阶段的石制品组合与中亚、西伯利亚阿尔泰地区同期遗址的文化面貌有相似之处,也与我国水洞沟遗址的石叶遗存有一定联系。骆驼石遗址及其丰富的勒瓦娄哇制品及大型石叶制品是本次调查的最大收获。本次调查的成果表明,新疆地区在旧石器时代晚期是人类迁徙和生存演化的活跃地带,留下丰富的文化遗存,对研究当时人类技术、文化特点和适应生存能力提供了重要材料与信息;很多地点具有与欧洲、俄罗斯阿尔泰地区旧石器时代中、晚期相似的文化遗存,对研究当时欧亚大陆古人群的迁徙、融合和文化交流具有重要价值;该地区具有发现更多、更重要的旧石器时代遗址并开展深入的考古发掘与研究的巨大潜力。  相似文献

Chloride transport in sheath and blade tissue and the cellular distribution of Cl- were investigated in an attempt to determine the physiological basis of the preferential accumulation of Cl- in sheaths of salt-stressed sorghum ( Sorghum bicolor L.). Import and export of 36Cl- in leaf sheaths and blades of intact sorghum were followed over a 2 week period. X-ray microanalysis of frozen-hydrated bulk tissue samples was used to determine the accumulation of Cl- and other elements in the vacuoles of sheath and blade cells.
Sheath tissue accumulated Cl- despite a relatively high Cl- turnover rate. Chloride was shown to accumulate in most cell types of the sheath, particularly in adaxial epidermal cells. After an initial increase in the concentration of Cl-, blade tissue regulated Cl- levels within certain limits. Chloride levels in blades were greater in the abaxial and adaxial epidermal cells than in other cell types. The epidermal cells of blades accumulated Cl- to approximately the same concentration as sheath epidermal cells. The Cl- concentration in the photosynthetically active mesophyll and bundle sheath cells, however, remained low.
Thus, the partitioning of Cl- previously observed in the leaves of salinized sorghum apparently results from the ability of bundle sheath and mesophyll cells to maintain concentrations of Cl- at lower levels than do epidermal cells. In addition, the relatively large sheath parenchyma cells tend to serve as reservoirs for the storage of Cl-.  相似文献
