中华鲟产卵场平面平均涡量计算与分析   总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2  
采用Delft3D-Flow模型对葛洲坝下游中华鲟产卵场河段进行流场模拟,用实测资料对模型进行验证和参数率定,模拟结果和实测资料基本吻合.在此基础上,阐述了平面平均涡量计算方法,利用模拟所得流速场,通过计算得到中华鲟产卵场河段区域平面平均涡量强度分布.计算结果表明,鱼卵密集区的平面平均涡量为1.38×10-3~1.64×10-3s-1,说明中华鲟产卵对区域平面涡量强度有偏好选择,这种选择具有生物学意义.可为今后保护中华鲟产卵场水力学环境提供理论支持和参考.  相似文献

Although previous studies have claimed that Pungtungia herzi (Cyprinidae) is an obligate brood parasite, in this study a significant proportion of P. herzi egg masses was found in crevices formed by stones and rocks, which was not guarded by hosts. Egg masses were also found in almost all nests of a goby Odontobutis obscura , suggesting that P. herzi has two alternative reproductive tactics: brood parasitic spawning and non-parasitic crevice spawning, the latter of which may occur when a shortage of reproductive resources ( i.e . host nests) exists. The hatching rates of parasitic egg masses were significantly higher than those of non-parasitic egg masses, and the hatching rate of P. herzi eggs exhibited a strong positive correlation with continuous egg guarding by a reproductive O. obscura male. These results indicate that brood parasitism effectively improves reproductive success in P. herzi . The alternative reproductive tactic of this species suggests that brood parasitism has evolved directly from crevice spawning via the sharing of spawning habitat with host species.  相似文献

Extensive collections were made of the larvae of the temperate Japanese eel Anguilla japonica and the tropical giant mottled eel Anguilla marmorata in an overlapping area of the North Equatorial Current region of the western North Pacific Ocean. Collections of 189 A. marmorata and > 2500 A. japonica larvae during nine surveys from 1991 to 2007 showed that these two anguillid eels have similar spawning areas just west of the southern West Mariana Ridge. In July to August 2006 and August 2007, morphologically and genetically identified A. marmorata preleptocephali were mainly collected between 14·5–15° N and 142–142·5° E, where A. japonica preleptocephali were also caught in some of the same net tows. Fewer A. marmorata preleptocephali, however, were collected ( n = 31) compared to those of A. japonica ( n = c . 165), and fewer small larvae of A. marmorata were collected per tow than A. japonica ( n = 1–10 and 1–294, respectively), suggesting relatively smaller spawning aggregations of A. marmorata . The distribution of preleptocephali and small larvae was wider in longitude in A. marmorata (131– 143° E) than in A. japonica (137–143° E), while the latitudinal range was almost the same (12–17° N). Although spawning by these two species overlaps both spatially and temporally, the tropical eels of the North Pacific population of A. marmorata probably have a much longer spawning season with fewer spawners, at least in summer, and recruit to a much wider latitudinal range of growth habitats.  相似文献

This study examined the spawning season, spawning frequency and batch fecundity of yellow sea bream Dentex hypselosomus in the East China Sea to reassess the previously reported reproductive characteristics of the species. Time-course sampling showed that this species had a diurnal ovarian maturation rhythm. Late tertiary yolk-stage oocytes appeared 2 days before spawning, starting the process of germinal vesicle movement and breakdown. On the day of spawning, ovulation and subsequent spawning occurred in the early morning (0400–0800 hours). Postovulatory follicles disappeared from the ovaries within c. 24 h of ovulation. Seasonal changes in the ovarian conditions indicated that this species spawned more or less throughout the year, with the peak ranging from spring to autumn. The compositions of the developing oocytes and degenerating postovulatory follicles in the ovaries suggested that most females spawned repeatedly over 2 to 3 consecutive days during the peak of the spawning season. Somatic body condition did not have a significant effect on batch fecundity, but there was a significant relationship between batch fecundity and fork length according to spawning status. Females spawning on consecutive days were more fecund than those spawning every other day. The findings show that this species has much greater reproductive potential than previously estimated.  相似文献

In many species, sperm velocity affects variation in the outcome of male competitive fertilization success. In fishes, ovarian fluid (OF) released with the eggs can increase male sperm velocity and potentially facilitate cryptic female choice for males of specific phenotypes and/or genotypes. Therefore, to investigate the effect of OF on fertilization success, we measured sperm velocity and conducted in vitro competitive fertilizations with paired Chinook salmon (Oncorhynchus tshawytscha) males representing two alternative reproductive tactics, jacks (small sneaker males) and hooknoses (large guarding males), in the presence of river water alone and OF mixed with river water. To determine the effect of genetic differences on fertilization success, we genotyped fish at neutral (microsatellites) and functional [major histocompatibility complex (MHC) II ß1] markers. We found that when sperm were competed in river water, jacks sired significantly more offspring than hooknoses; however, in OF, there was no difference in paternity between the tactics. Sperm velocity was significantly correlated with paternity success in river water, but not in ovarian fluid. Paternity success in OF, but not in river water alone, was correlated with genetic relatedness between male and female, where males that were less related to the female attained greater paternity. We found no relationship between MHC II ß1 divergence between mates and paternity success in water or OF. Our results indicate that OF can influence the outcome of sperm competition in Chinook salmon, where OF provides both male tactics with fertilization opportunities, which may in part explain what maintains both tactics in nature.  相似文献

The gametogenic cycle and number of spawning seasons per year of the female Chlamys (Azumapecten) farreri farreri were investigated by qualitative and quantitative analyses, and also the size at 50% of group sexual maturity (the size of first sexual maturity) was calculated to inform natural living resource management. In qualitative histologic analysis, the gametogenic cycle of this species can be classified into five successive stages: early active stage, late active stage, ripe stage, partially spawned stage, and spent/inactive stage. The spawning season occurs annually from July to September. In quantitative statistical analysis using an image analysis system, the patterns of monthly changes in reproductive cells were shown to be maximum in June and then dropped sharply from July to September. From these data, it is apparent that the C. (A.) farreri farreri has a unimodal annual gametogenic cycle. Shell heights at 50% of group sexual maturity were estimated as 51.47?mm and was 100% for scallops over 61.0?mm.  相似文献

The Brazilian coast, the Caribbean and the tropical South Atlantic oceanic islands reef ichthyofauna separated into two major clusters: (1) the western Atlantic continental margin and Bermuda, further divided into (1a) the western North Atlantic, and (1b) the Brazilian coast; and (2) the South Atlantic oceanic islands, also divided in (2a) the Brazilian offshore islands, and (2b) Ascension and St Helena. Species geographic ranges suggest the recognition of only two western Atlantic zoogeographic provinces for tropical marine shore fishes. A Brazilian Province, including the offshore localities of Atol das Rocas, Fernando de Noronha, Trindade and St Paul's Rocks, and an expanded West Indian Province that includes Bermuda. Ascension and St Helena should be regarded as a separated Central Atlantic Province.  相似文献

The allometric relationship between body mass and testis mass was calculated using data from 16 genera (37 species) of African and Japanese frogs. Having controlled for body mass, the relative testis mass of Chiromantis xerampelina, Rhacophorus arboreus and R. schlegelli was considerably heavier than predicted (3.8–14.6 times more). All three species have multi-male breeding. Although the result is consistent with sperm competition having selected for increased sperm production in anurans, the phylogenetic distribution of well documented multi-male spawning is confined to the Rhacophoridae. Thus, multi-male mating may have arisen only once effectively reducing the analysis to two data points. However, in the four foam-nesting Rhacophorids whose breeding behaviour has been studied there is also a correlation between relative testis mass and the intensity of sperm competition. This suggests that even within the Rhacophoridae, sperm competition leads to larger testes. Direct evidence for sperm competition in C. xerampelina is provided by a 'sterile male' experiment, which shows that peripheral males are capable of fertilizing eggs.  相似文献

Synopsis The Red Sea seamoth, Eurypegasus draconis, has a social structure that involves close pair-bonding with a monogamous mating system. The occurrence of 61 specimens, 95.1% paired, were recorded in the Gulf of Aqaba, during summers 1989 and 1990. Fourteen pairs were tagged and seven of them were seen again at least once. Cumulative location maps for tagged individuals showed that they were not territorial or site-attached, home ranges of pairs overlapped, they had low mobility, and occurred in low densities. Dissections and histological analyses showed that pairs (n = 12) were heterosexual and all individuals were sexually mature. E. draconis is sexually dimorphic. Females (n = 13) have significantly larger carapace volumes than males (n = 13). In aquaria, pairs spawned repetitively at dusk. At the peak of a spawning rise they released pelagic eggs from which embryos hatched in 24–29h at 27.2°C. Unpaired individuals probably have little opportunity to meet and mate. Close pair-bonding that ensures the availability of a mate, probably evolved as a style for increasing reproductive success in these small fish that occur in low density. E. draconis sheds its skin in one piece every 1 to 5 days.  相似文献
