Electroreceptive afferents from A- and B-electroreceptor cells of mormyromasts and Knollenorgans were tested for their sensitivity to different stimulus waveforms in the weakly electric fish Gnathonemus petersii. Both A- and B-mormyromast cells had their lowest sensitivity to a waveform similar to the self-generated electric organ discharge (EOD) (around 0° phase-shift). Highest sensitivities, i.e. lowest response thresholds, in both A- and B-cells were measured at phase shifts of +135°. Thus, both cell types were inversely waveform tuned. The sensitivity of B-cells increased sharply with increasing waveform distortions. Their tuning curves had a sharp minimum of sensitivity at +7° phase shift. A-cells had a much broader waveform tuning with a plateau level of low sensitivity from +24° to −15°. Across a 360° cycle of phase-shifts, the range of thresholds was 16 dB for individual B-cells and 4.5 dB for individual A-cells. Knollenorgan afferents were tuned to 0° phase-shifted EODs and had a dynamic range of 12 dB. Lowest sensitivities were measured at a phase shift of +165°. Experiments with computer-generated stimuli revealed that the strong sensitivity of mormyromast B-cells of EOD waveform distortions cannot be attributed to any of the seven waveform parameters tested. In addition, EOD stimuli must have the correct duration for B-cells to respond to waveform distortions. 目的:探讨阿替普酶联合依达拉奉治疗急性缺血性卒中的疗效及神经功能缺损与时间窗的关系。方法:选取大连医科大学附属大连市中心医院于2016年3月~2018年10月间收治的急性缺血性卒中患者117例,根据随机数字表法将患者分为对照组(n=58,阿替普酶治疗)和研究组(n=59,阿替普酶联合依达拉奉治疗),比较两组患者临床疗效、神经功能缺损情况、基质金属蛋白酶-9(MMP-9)、白介素-6(IL-6)水平、头颅CT梗死面积,观察两组治疗期间不良反应发生情况。结果:研究组的总有效率为84.75%(50/59),高于对照组的63.79%(37/58)(P<0.05)。两组患者治疗2周后MMP-9、IL-6、美国国立卫生研究院卒中量表(NIHSS)评分均较治疗前降低,且研究组低于对照组(P<0.05)。研究组治疗24h、48h、72h的头颅CT梗死面积小于对照组(P<0.05)。治疗后研究组发病72h内、发病48h内患者NIHSS评分、头颅CT梗死面积高于发病24h内,且发病72h内高于发病48h内(P<0.05)。两组患者不良反应发生率比较无差异(P>0.05)。结论:阿替普酶联合依达拉奉治疗急性缺血性卒中,疗效确切,可有效改善患者过氧化损伤,降低细胞因子水平,且越早的时间窗内接受治疗的患者,其神经功能缺损、脑梗死面积改善效果越好。  相似文献

目的:探讨静脉溶栓时机对急性ST段抬高型心肌梗死患者溶栓效果及主要不良心脏事件发生率的影响。方法:将2016年1月至2017年12月我院接诊的314例急性ST段抬高型心肌梗死患者纳入本研究,按照溶栓治疗时间不同分为A组(发病至溶栓时间6 h)172例、B组(发病至溶栓时间为6~12 h)102例和C组(发病至溶栓时间12 h)40例,比较三组患者溶栓效果、溶栓后ST段回落情况以及住院期间主要不良心脏事件发生情况。结果:A组患者梗死冠脉溶通率、溶栓后ST段回落幅度高于B组和C组,且B组高于C组,差异均有统计学意义(P0.05)。A组患者治疗后ST段回落最大幅度所需时间、住院期间主要不良心脏事件总发生率低于B组和C组,且B组低于C组,差异均有统计学意义(P0.05)。结论:急性ST段抬高型心肌梗死患者发病后6 h内静脉溶栓治疗梗死冠脉溶通率更高、ST段回落效果更好,可降低住院期间主要不良心脏事件发生风险。  相似文献

ABSTRACT

This study aimed to examine the reliability and the time-of-day effect of the 505 change of direction (CoD), 10-m sprint, and change of direction deficit test (CoDD). At two different time of days, 39 young diurnally active physical education male students performed different physical tests: 505 CoD, and sprint tests. Measurements were taken at two separate testing sessions, i.e. in the morning (07:00–08:30 h) and early evening (17:00–18:30 h) in a randomized and counter-balanced setting on nonconsecutive days in 21 of them (21.5 ± 1.5 y of age). The results showed that the 505 CoD test, 10-m sprint, and CoDD performances were a reliable test, and performances were better in the evening the 505 CoD, 10-m sprint, and CoDD testing provided reliable and sensitive scores. In addition, phase 2 showed that CoD, speed, and CoDD are affected by the time of day.  相似文献

This present research investigated variations in lipid profiles and important biomarkers of tissue damage in response to graded concentrations of alcohol administration in male Wistar rats. Group A (control) received distilled water while group B, C and D received 30%, 40% and 50% (v/v) alcohol respectively. Five rats each from groups A-D were sacrificed after day(s) 1, 7, 14, 21 and 28 of administration. A significant increase was observed at day 28 for serum cholesterol by 79% (group B), 78% (group C) and 47% (group D) together with serum phospholipid 58% (group B), 50% (group C) and 92% (group D). Serum triacylglycerol increased by 71% (group B), 43% (group C) and 16% (group D) at day 21, while concentration of serum albumin decreased at day 28 by 40.9% (group B), 50.2% (group C), 53.3% (group D) respectively when compared with control (group A). Serum aminotransferases and alkaline phosphatase specific activities, as well as creatinine and uric acid concentration increased in a concentration-dependent manner, following alcohol administration. Though most of these effects induced by alcohol were time- and concentration-dependent, 40% alcohol appear to be more stable, giving results consistent with alcohol-induced damages, with minimal mortality. This study therefore further validated dyslipidemia and imbalance in clinical biomarkers as hallmarks of tissue damage induced by excessive alcohol consumption with an insight on the time- and concentration-response relationship between alcohol consumption and its toxicity.  相似文献

The electrical activity of the heart may be modeled with a system of partial differential equations (PDEs) known as the bidomain model. Computer simulations based on these equations may become a helpful tool to understand the relationship between changes in the electrical field and various heart diseases. Because of the rapid variations in the electrical field, sufficiently accurate simulations require a fine-scale discretization of the equations. For realistic geometries this leads to a large number of grid points and consequently large linear systems to be solved for each time step. In this paper, we present a fully coupled discretization of the bidomain model, leading to a block structured linear system. We take advantage of the block structure to construct an efficient preconditioner for the linear system, by combining multigrid with an operator splitting technique.  相似文献

Environmental effects on population growth are often quantified by coupling environmental covariates with population time series, using statistical models that make particular assumptions about the shape of density dependence. We hypothesized that faulty assumptions about the shape of density dependence can bias estimated effect sizes of temporally autocorrelated covariates. We investigated the presence of bias using Monte Carlo simulations based on three common per capita growth functions with distinct density dependent forms (θ-Ricker, Ricker and Gompertz), autocorrelated (coloured) ‘known’ environmental covariates and uncorrelated (white) ‘unknown’ noise. Faulty assumptions about the shape of density dependence, combined with overcompensatory intrinsic population dynamics, can lead to strongly biased estimated effects of coloured covariates, associated with lower confidence interval coverage. Effects of negatively autocorrelated (blue) environmental covariates are overestimated, while those of positively autocorrelated (red) covariates can be underestimated, generally to a lesser extent. Prewhitening the focal environmental covariate effectively reduces the bias, at the expense of the estimate precision. Fitting models with flexible shapes of density dependence can also reduce bias, but increases model complexity and potentially introduces other problems of parameter identifiability. Model selection is a good option if an appropriate model is included in the set of candidate models. Under the specific and identifiable circumstances with high risk of bias, we recommend prewhitening or careful modelling of the shape of density dependence.  相似文献

The properties of equilibria and phase synchronization involving burst synchronization and spike synchronization of two electrically coupled HR neurons are studied in this paper. The findings reveal that in the non-delayed system the existence of equilibria can be turned into intersection of two odd functions, and two types of equilibria with symmetry and non-symmetry can be found. With the stability and bifurcation analysis, the bifurcations of equilibria are investigated. For the delayed system, the equilibria remain unchanged. However, the Hopf bifurcation point is drastically affected by time delay. For the phase synchronization, we focus on the synchronization transition from burst synchronization to spike synchronization in the non-delayed system and the effect of coupling strength and time delay on spike synchronization in delayed system. In addition, corresponding firing rhythms and spike synchronized regions are obtained in the two parameters plane. The results allow us to better understand the properties of equilibria, multi-time-scale properties of synchronization and temporal encoding scheme in neuronal systems.  相似文献

An RNA-Seq strategy was used to obtain the complete set of protein-coding mitochondrial genes from two rodent taxa. Thanks to the next generation sequencing (NGS) 454 approach, we determined the complete mitochondrial DNA genome from Graphiurus kelleni (Mammalia: Rodentia: Gliridae) and partial mitogenome from Pedetes capensis (Pedetidae), and compared them with published rodent and outgroup mitogenomes. We finished the mitogenome sequencing by a series of amplicons using conserved PCR primers to fill the gaps corresponding to tRNA, rRNA and control regions. Phylogenetic analyses of the mitogenomes suggest a well-supported rodent phylogeny in agreement with nuclear gene trees. Pedetes groups with Anomalurus into the clade Anomaluromorpha, while Graphiurus branches within the squirrel-related clade. Moreover, Pedetes + Anomalurus branch with Castor into the mouse-related clade. Our study demonstrates the utility of NGS for obtaining new mitochondrial genomes as well as the importance of choosing adequate models of sequence evolution to infer the phylogeny of rodents.  相似文献
