目的:研究脂肪细胞增强结合蛋白1(AEBP1)在结直肠癌组织中的表达情况,以探索其临床意义。方法:运用免疫组织化学和实时定量PCR技术,对AEBP1在结直肠癌中的表达情况进行检测,并分析其表达量与患者临床病理特征的关系。结果:AEBP1在结直肠正常组织、腺瘤和癌组织中的免疫评分有明显差异(P0.05),而且AEBP1的阳性表达与肿瘤的分期和浸润深度明显相关。基因水平AEBP1的表达在肿瘤组织中明显高于正常组织。结论:AEBP1在结直肠癌组织中存在异常表达,并且可能是结直肠癌早期诊断和浸润深度的肿瘤标志物。 相似文献

Physical activity (PA) is related to colorectal cancer (CRC) mortality, with approximately 15% of CRC deaths worldwide attributable to physical inactivity. Moreover, higher levels of PA in CRC survivors have been associated with a reduced risk of the disease recurring. Despite the recognised nexus between PA and the risk of CRC, the physiological mechanisms underlying the inverse relationship between PA and mortality following CRC diagnosis are less apparent, with evidence primarily drawn from epidemiological studies. The insulin-like growth factor (IGF) axis plays a central role in cellular growth, proliferation regulation, differentiation and apoptosis. Specifically, high levels of insulin-like growth factor 1 (IGF-1) have been consistently linked to the severity of CRC tumours. Further, insulin-like growth factor binding protein 3 (IGFBP-3) regulates the bioavailability of IGF-I and therefore plays a central role in CRC prognosis. Decreasing levels of IGF-1 and increasing levels of IGFBP-3 may thus be a plausible mechanism underlying the inverse association between PA and CRC survival. 相似文献

Cell lines are widely used for various research purposes including cancer and drug research. Recently, there have been studies that pointed to discrepancies in the literature and usage of cell lines. That is why we have prepared a comprehensive overview of the most common gynaecological cancer cell lines, their literature, a list of currently available cell lines, and new findings compared with the original studies. A literature review was conducted via MEDLINE, PubMed and ScienceDirect for reviews in the last 5 years to identify research and other studies related to gynaecological cancer cell lines. We present an overview of the current literature with reference to the original studies and pointed to certain inconsistencies in the literature. The adherence to culturing rulesets and the international guidelines helps in minimizing replication failure between institutions. Evidence from the latest research suggests that despite certain drawbacks, variations of cancer cell lines can also be useful in regard to a more diverse genomic landscape. 相似文献

BackgroundThe aim of this study was to describe incidence patterns of lymphoid neoplasms in the Girona province (Spain) (1996–2015), and to predict the number of cases in Spain during 2020.MethodsData were extracted from the Girona cancer registry. Incident cases were classified using the ICD-O-3, third revision, and grouped according to the WHO 2008 classification scheme. Age-adjusted incidence rates to the European standard population (ASRE) were estimated and incidence trends were modeled using Joinpoint.Results4367 lymphoid neoplasms were diagnosed in the Girona province. The ASRE for overall lymphoma was 37.1 (95% CI: 36.0; 38.2), with a marked male predominance in almost all subtypes. During 1996–2015, incidence trends remained stable for broader lymphoma categories. According to our predictions, 17,950 new cases of LNs will be diagnosed in Spain in 2020.ConclusionsThis ‘real-world’ data will provide valuable information to better inform etiological hypotheses and plan future health-care services. 相似文献

The tissue and cellular distribution of a GTP-binding protein, Go, was investigated in the rat by immunochemical and immunohistochemical methods. Because the specific antibody for the alpha subunit of bovine Go (Go alpha) cross-reacted with rat Go alpha, an enzyme immunoassay method developed for bovine Go alpha was applied for measuring the tissue concentration of Go alpha in the rat. Go alpha was detected in all tissues examined except blood cells. The concentration of Go alpha was highest in the CNS (approximately 7.7 and 4.4 nmol/g in the cerebrum and cerebellum, respectively), followed by the pituitary gland and sciatic nerve. Among the other peripheral tissues, relatively high concentrations of Go alpha were observed in the urinary bladder, stomach, and intestines; however, these values were less than 2% of the concentration in the cerebrum. Go alpha in the intestine was located mostly in the muscle layer. Immunohistochemical study showed that Go alpha was associated mostly with the neural elements but not with cells particular to each peripheral organ. Go alpha was also present in the membranes of neuroendocrine cells, including glandular cells in the anterior lobe of the pituitary gland, chromaffin cells in the medulla of the adrenal gland, islets cells in the pancreas, and parafollicular cells in the thyroid. Allogeneic stem cell transplantation is currently the only curative therapy for primary myelofibrosis (MF), while the JAK2 inhibitor, ruxolitinib. Has been approved only for palliation. Other therapies are desperately needed to reverse life‐threatening MF. However, the cell(s) and cytokine(s) that promote MF remain unclear. Several reports have demonstrated that captopril, an inhibitor of angiotensin‐converting enzyme that blocks the production of angiotensin II (Ang II), mitigates fibrosis in heart, lung, skin and kidney. Here, we show that captopril can mitigate the development of MF in the Gata1low mouse model of primary MF. Gata1low mice were treated with 79 mg/kg/d captopril in the drinking water from 10 to 12 months of age. At 13 months of age, bone marrows were examined for fibrosis, megakaryocytosis and collagen expression; spleens were examined for megakaryocytosis, splenomegaly and collagen expression. Treatment of Gata1low mice with captopril in the drinking water was associated with normalization of the bone marrow cellularity; reduced reticulin fibres, splenomegaly and megakaryocytosis; and decreased collagen expression. Our findings suggest that treating with the ACE inhibitors captopril has a significant benefit in overcoming pathological changes associated with MF. 相似文献

Inoculation of hamadryas baboons with blood of leukemia ill people‐induced malignant non‐Hodgkin's lymphoma in experimental animals for a very considerable latency period. At close contact of inoculated baboons with healthy non‐inoculated animals, the lymphoma spread between them. The epidemiological analysis, postmortem examination, histological analysis, tissue culturing, and PCR were used for the diagnostics of lymphoma and pre‐lymphoma, purification, identification of STLV‐1, and HVP viruses. Characteristic clinical and morphological signs designated by us as pre‐lymphoma often precede the lymphoma development. In some cases, pre‐lymphoma does not develop in lymphoma because animals die from various diseases and do not reach the point of the lymphoma development. The horizontal transmission of lymphoma arising with the participation of T‐lymphotropic retrovirus STLV‐1 is shown. 相似文献
