中国新栎盾蚧属一新种及二新纪录种(同翅目:蚧总科:盾蚧科)

记述新栎盾蚧属Neoquernaspis Howell et Takagi,1981一新种,即细管新栎盾蚧N.leptosipha sp.nov和2种中国分布新纪录种,即石柯新栎盾蚧N.beshearae Liu et Tippins,1988和尼泊尔新栎盾蚧N.nepalensis (Takagi,1977),并编制了该属中国已知种类检索表,新种模式标本和新纪录标本保存于西北农业大学昆虫博物馆。

中国美盾蚧属一新种(同翅目:蚧总科:盾蚧科)

记述美盾蚧属Formosaspis 1新种：桂林美盾蚧F.guilinensis sp.nov.，模式标本采自广西桂林市七星岩的一种观赏竹(Bambus sp.)的竹杆和分枝上。其鉴别特征是中臀叶发达，突出体末端，两叶间距宽于臀叶基部宽度的1.5倍，其间有2根刚毛；第二对臀叶骨化程度低：第三臀叶可见，末端有齿列。缘管腺2-3个，背管腺特别少且小，腹管腺小而多。二龄若虫中臀叶发达，第二对臀叶顶端双分，第三臀叶缺乏。

中国围盾蚧属一新种（半翅目：蚧总科：盾蚧科）

记述中国围盾蚧属Fiorinia Targioni-Tozzetti 1新种:南宁围盾蚧Fiorinia nanningensis Zhang&Feng sp.nov.。该种近似于钩樟围盾蚧F.linderaeTakagi,1969,二者臀板均无腺刺分布,并且第2臀叶退化,略突起或全无,但是可以从以下特征区别:1)新种中臀叶狭小,末端截型,内缘无锯齿(钩樟围盾蚧中臀叶大而内缘多齿);2)躯干上无腺刺或腺瘤(钩樟围盾蚧后胸有1-3个腺瘤,第1腹节有3或4个腺瘤,第2腹节有1-2个腺刺);3)无触角间突(钩樟围盾蚧触角间突小圆锥形)。对其形态特征进行了详细描述,提供了玻片绘图。研究标本保存在西北农林科技大学昆虫博物馆。

本文记述了枝圆盾蚧属Ｄｉａｓｐｉｄｉｏｔｕｓ Ｃｏｃｋｅｒｅｌｌ一新种,危枝圆盾蚧Ｄｉａｓｐｉｄｉｏｔｕ ｐｅｒｎｉｃｉａｂｉｌｕｓ ｓｐ．ｎｏｖ．,该属是盾蚧科Ｄｉａｓｐｉｄｉｄａｅ中的一个小属。新种的模式标本保存在中国科学院动物研究所。

美盾蚧属一新种记述（同翅目：蚧总科：盾蚧科）

记述美盾蚧属Formosaspis1新种：王朗美盾蚧F.wanglangensis,sp.nov.,模式标本采自四川省平武县王朗自然保护区的箭竹（hyllostachys bambusoides Sieb et Zacc）竹杆和分枝上。鉴别特征是雌成虫臀板背面有8个高度骨化的硬疤,围阴腺5群,每群数量远远多于同属其它种。二龄若虫的中臀叶与第3臀叶之间有缘管腺2对,第3臀叶的上侧有缘管腺3枚。     

中国波翅青尺蛾属分类研究(鳞翅目:尺蛾科:尺蛾亚科)

波翅青尺蛾属Thalera世界共记录6种和5亚种。中国已知3种和3亚种,本文记述5种和3亚种,其中包括采自四川巴塘1新种淡波翅青尺蛾Thalera simpliria sp.nov.和1新纪录种。文中给出了中国波翅青尺蛾属分种检索表和新种的成虫及外生殖器图。淡波翅青尺蛾,新种Thalera simpliria sp.nov.(图2,3,6,7）新种与Th.lacerataria Graeser,1889相似,但有以下不同：新种前翅外缘在M1与M3之间的缺刻极浅;前后翅外线较圆滑：♂外生殖器抱器瓣基部的三角形骨化片细尖,囊形突较细,钩形突较短粗;♀外生殖器后阴片有一方形弱骨化区域。     

中国毛室茧蜂属记述并附二新种描述（膜翅目：茧蜂科：优茧蜂亚科）

毛室茧蜂属LeiophronNees是茧蜂科优茧蜂亚科中1个较大的属,含3个亚属啮虫茧蜂亚属EuphoriellaAshmead,拟优茧蜂亚属EuphorianaGahan和毛室茧蜂亚属Leiophrons.s,寄生于半翅目和啮虫目的若虫。本文对毛室茧蜂属的中国种类进行了研究,共报道7种,其中5种为已知种程氏毛室茧蜂L.(Euphoriana)chengiChen&vanAchterberg,1997、狭翅毛室茧蜂L.(L.)bounluoicaBelokobylskij,1993、黄体毛室茧蜂L.(L.)flavicorpusChen&vanAchterberg,1997、红头毛室茧蜂L.(L.)ruficephalusChen&vanAchterberg,1997和细毛室茧蜂L.(L.)subtilisChen&vanAchterberg;2种为新种大头毛室茧蜂L.(E.)amplicaptis,sp.nov.和伊春毛室茧蜂L.(L.)yichunensis,sp.nov.。研究标本(包括模式标本)保存在浙江大学应用昆虫研究所寄生蜂标本室。 1.大头毛室茧蜂Leiophron(Euphoriana)amplicaptis,新种(图1～5) 　　本种与程氏毛室茧蜂L.(E.)chengiChen&vanAchterberg,1997相似,但前翅1-SR+M、m-cu、2-Cu1、2-M和2-SR脉缺,基节前沟缺,盾纵沟存在,浅,腹部第1背板具纵刻纹,触角15节,脸宽为高的1.1倍及体较小等特征可与后者相区别。 　　研究标本正模,♀,吉林通化,1994-Ⅷ-01,娄巨贤,no.976813。 2.伊春毛室茧蜂Leiophron(Leiophron)yichunensis,新种(图6～10) 　　本种与黄体毛室茧蜂L.(L.)flavicorpusChen&vanAchterberg,1997相似,但本种前翅SR1和2-SR脉出自翅痣同一地点、唇基腹缘明显突出、盾纵沟区域光滑、腹部第1节背板长为端宽的3.1倍等特征可与后者相区别。 　　研究标本正模,♀,黑龙江伊春,1994-Ⅶ-19～26,娄巨贤,no.952676。副模1♂,采集记录同正模,no.952608。     

Genus Carvaka Distant in Australia (Hemiptera: Cicadellidae: Selenocephalinae)

Abstract  The leafhopper genus Carvaka Distant (Hemiptera: Cicadellidae: Selenocephalinae) in Australia is reviewed in light of recent publications on the subfamily Selenocephalinae in the Oriental region. The genus Exitianellus Evans is transferred from the subfamily Deltocephalinae to the Paraboloponini and synonymised with Carvaka . Carvaka elegantula (Evans) comb. nov. is redescribed and three new species, C. mouldsorum , C. maculata and C. flava are added to the genus. A key for the separation of the Australian species of Carvaka is provided. The Australian fauna represents all three recognised species groups of the genus. The significance of this to the biogeographical origins of the Australian fauna is discussed.     

The genus Rhanterium (Asteraceae: Inuleae)

WIKLUND, A., 1986. The genus Rhanterium (Aateraceae: Inuleae) . This revision of the genus Rhanterium Desf. of the /nu/a-group in the Asteraceae: Inuleae, subtribe Inulinae, is based on studies of herbarium material. The genus is distributed over western North Africa, the Arabian peninsula, Iraq and Iran. Three species are recognized: R. adpressum Coss. & Durieu, R. epapposum Oliver and R. suaveolens Desf. A fourth previously accepted species, R. intermedium Coss. & Durieu ex Pomel, is here considered to be composed of hybrids between R. adpressum and R. suaveolens. A laxonomical recognition of these hybrids is not found to be justified. The morphology, phylogeny and phytogeography of the species are discussed and a cladogram of the genus is proposed.     

Systematics and biogeography of the genus Actenodia (Coleoptera: Meloidae: Mylabrini)

Abstract.  The genus Actenodia Laporte de Castelnau (Meloidae: Mylabrini) is revised. It includes 18 species distributed in the Mediterranean and Saharo-Arabian regions, and in eastern and southern Africa; A. carpanetoi sp.n. from Mozambique is described. The bionomics of the genus is summarized, according to a collection of records on phenology, elevation, habitat preference and host plants. A classification of the genus is proposed after a morphological cladistic analysis: one Afrotropical lineage clearly emerged with three distinct groups of species, whereas other taxa, all Palaearctic except A. mirabilis , remained unresolved. The analysis of the nuclear internal transcribed spacer 2 rDNA sequences of some Palaearctic and Afrotropical species supports the distinction of the Afrotropical lineage. The first instar larvae of two species, A. chrysomelina from southern Africa and A. denticulata from Arabia, are described for the first time and compared with two other Palaearctic species described previously; inferences from larval morphology are discussed. The adult morphology of all species is described briefly and illustrated, and a key to the species is provided, as well as locality data. Three new synonymies are proposed: A. extera Dvořák, 1993 syn.n. = A. septempunctata Baudi di Selve, 1878; A. sexpunctata Pic, 1948 syn.n . = A. curtula Fähraeus, 1870 ; A. unimaculata lanzai Kaszab, 1973 syn.n . = A. unimaculata Pic, 1908. The biogeography of the genus is discussed within the framework of a more general analysis of the disjunct distribution models.

A taxonomic review of the genus Astrocharis Koehler (Echinodermata: Ophiuroidea: Asteroschematidae), with a description of a new species

A revision of the genus Astrocharis Koehler (Echinodermata: Ophiuroidea: Asteroschematidae) is based on 41 specimens, including three syntypes of Astrocharis virgo Koehler, one syntype of Astrocharis ijimai Matsumoto and the holotype of Astrocharis gracilis Mortensen. Astrocharis gracilis is a junior subjective synonym of A. ijimai. A. virgo and A. ijimai are redescribed. A new species, Astrocharis monospinosa is described from southwestern Japan. A tabular key to the three species of the genus Astrocharis is provided.

First record of the genus aprivesa melichar (hemiptera: fulgoromorpha) from South India, with description of one new species

Aprivesa unimaculatasp. n. (Hemiptera: Fulgoromorpha: Ricaniidae) is described and illustrated from Coorg, south India. This represents the first record of the genus Aprivesa Melichar from India and the fourth known species of Aprivesa. The new taxon greatly extends the range of the genus Aprivesa, which was previously known as an endemic Australian genus. A checklist of all known species of the Ricaniidae from India and keys to all the known genera of the Ricaniidae from India and all species in the genus are provided.
