香溪河库湾春季水华期间悬浮颗粒物粒度动态的初步研究   总被引:1,自引:1,他引:0  
水体中的悬浮颗粒物是物质在水环境中迁移转化的载体和蓄积库,是营养成分在水相、沉积物相和食物链中循环的重要载体,是河流生态系统物质循环和能量流动的重要组成部分[1—3],很多学者研究了悬浮物的组成、结构和粒度之间的关系,发现其粒度特征对于了解生态系统内部物质和能量循环转化过程具有重要意义[4,5]。三峡水库蓄水后,香溪河下游部分河段成为库区的一部分,相对于河流来说,流速的减小使更多的悬浮颗粒物发生沉降,营养物质富集,易暴发水华[6]。本研究在三峡水库香溪河库湾水华暴发过程中对不同水深的悬浮颗粒物在24h内的动态分布特征进…  相似文献

研究了香溪河库湾春季水华期间(2006年3月3日—4月16日)透明度水层可见光衰减系数KSd的时空特征,分析其与表层水叶绿素a浓度、DOC浓度和透明度Sd的相关关系。结果表明:香溪河库湾春季水华可见光衰减系数KSd时空变异很大;除峡口河段(样点X7—X8)外,可见光衰减系数KSd的变化特征取决于叶绿素a浓度和DOC浓度的时空变化,类似于深水湖泊;除峡口河段(样点X7—X8)外,香溪河库湾可见光衰减系数KSd和透明度之间呈反比的关系具有显著的相关,但它们之间的反比关系因水体叶绿素a和无机悬浮颗粒的空间差异而有所不同。    相似文献

于2005年12月至2006年5月,对香溪河干流一典型引水型电站--苍坪河电站取水对坝下河段底栖动物栖息地的影响及河道的最小生态需水量进行调查研究,利用加权可利用宽度法(Weighted Usable Width)分别计算了香溪河底栖动物3个主要的目(蜉蝣目、襀翅目和毛翅目)的各断面加权可利用宽度,并对各断面结果进行比较.结果表明,电站引水坝的取水使下游河段部分地出现干涸,3个目的加权可利用宽度显著减小.根据底栖动物加权可利用宽度与流量的回归关系,计算得香溪河底栖动物主要类群的最小生态需水量为3.8 m3/s.  相似文献

香溪河库湾春季水华期间硝酸盐、磷酸盐的时空分布   总被引:14,自引:2,他引:12  
在三峡水库香溪河库湾春季水华连续暴发期间(2005年2月26日—4月28日)对香溪河与长江汇合处(河口)至香溪河库湾上游库尾处总计14个采样点进行连续监测,结果表明硝酸盐和磷酸盐在库湾中存在明显的时空分布规律。在空间上,河口的硝酸盐浓度高,库尾浓度低,其变化趋势是随着与河口距离的增加而降低;磷酸盐的分布规律是库尾的浓度高,河口的浓度低,其变化趋势与硝酸盐恰好相反。各采样点硝酸盐和磷酸盐浓度在时间上也呈现出明显的规律。河口硝酸盐的浓度在不同时间变化幅度较小,库尾采样点的硝酸盐浓度的变化幅度较大,随着与河口距离的增加硝酸盐浓度在不同时间的变化幅度逐渐增大。各样点磷酸盐在时间上的变化趋势是样点S04-S08的变化幅度较大,位于香溪河库湾河口和库尾的变化幅度较小。  相似文献

运用聚类分析和主成分分析对香溪河19个样点水质的理化特性进行研究,聚类分析表明,根据各采样点之间水质组分的相似性可将香溪河大致分为3个河段,分别属于不同的亚流域,各亚流域问的特征差异显著,对各河段水质的主成分分析表明,上述3河段的主要水质信息差异很大,第1河段(在河流上游)水质的信息主要体现为总碱度和硬度,第2河段(河流中游)主要体现为可溶性磷酸盐、总磷和氯离子,第3河段(河流下游)则为pH、亚硝酸盐氮、总氮和COD,文中结合香溪河流域地理环境背景,探讨了香溪河水质空间分布格局的成因,为分析流域水质状况及成因提供了一条简单有效的途径。  相似文献

为明确脱甲河溶存CH_4关键产生途径,明晰水系碳同位素组成及其分布特征,为小流域CH_4排放估算和减排提供数据支撑.利用双层扩散模型法估算了CH_4浓度和传输通量,研究了周年内脱甲河4级河段(S_1~S_4)水体CH_4通量的时空分布及其主控环境因子;运用稳定同位素方法探究了溶存CH_4关键产生途径,分析了溶解CH_4、悬浮颗粒物和沉积物有机质δ13C分布特征.结果表明:水体pH均值为(7.27±0.03),各河段四季差异均显著;溶解氧(DO)在0.43~13.99 mg·L-1内变化,S_1河段DO浓度最高且夏、秋季差异显著,其他河段均为冬与春、夏、秋季差异显著;可溶性有机碳(DOC)变化范围是0.34~8.32 mg·L-1,由S_1至S_4河段总体呈递增趋势;水体电导率(EC)和氧化还原电位(ORP)变化范围分别是17~436μS·cm-1和-52.30~674.10 mV,各河段差异明显;铵态氮(NH_4^+-N)、硝态氮(NO_3^--N)浓度分别在0.30~1.35(平均0.90±0.10)mg·L-1和0.82~2.45(平均1.62±0.16)mg·L-1内变化.溶存CH_4浓度和传输通量变化范围分别是0~5.28(平均0.46±0.06)μmol·L-1和-0.34~619.72(平均53.88±7.15)μg C·m-2·h-1;均存在时空变化且变异规律相似,为春季>冬季>夏季>秋季,S_2>S_3>S_4>S_1.通量与水体铵态氮和DOC浓度均呈显著正相关.各级河段均以乙酸发酵产甲烷途径为主导,但不同河段差异明显,乙酸发酵途径产CH_4贡献率以S_1河段最高(87%),其次为S_4(81%),S_2、S_3分别达到78%和76%.溶存CH_4、悬浮颗粒物和沉积物有机质的δ13C均值分别为-41.64‰±1.91‰、-14.07‰±1.06‰和-26.20‰±1.02‰,溶存甲烷δ13C与沉积物有机质的δ13C呈显著正相关,与其传输通量呈极显著负相关.  相似文献

以香溪河附石藻类密度、藻类叶绿素a浓度、Shannon-Wiener多样性指数及生态系统初级生产力随河流级别的变化为例探索该河流的连续统特征。结果表明,附石藻类密度、藻类叶绿素a浓度和Shannon-Wiener多样性指数总体上都有随着河流级别增加而增加的趋势,但在1~3级河段之间这种趋势并不明显,甚至出现了逆转。河流初级生产力也有随河流级别增加而增加的趋势,并在第4级河流达到最大,随后有所下降。在全水系范围内河流初级生产力(P)与群落呼吸(R)比值P/R均大于1,说明香溪河是一条以自养生产为主的河流。所研究的特征并不完全与连续统概念的预测相一致,表明河流已经受到了一定程度的人为干扰。  相似文献

香溪河是长江三峡水库湖北省最大的支流。通过对香溪河库湾(下游河段)一周年的调查,发现轮虫80种,其中占优势的有13种。轮虫密度在不同样点差异显著,样点Ⅸ最低(仅为68.96 ind./L),样点Ⅵ最高(为1505.83ind./L);对9个样点进行聚类分析,可分为4组,第1组为样点Ⅰ至Ⅴ,第2组为样点Ⅵ,第3组为样点Ⅶ、Ⅷ,第4组为样点Ⅸ;除样点Ⅸ外,沿着水流方向,轮虫密度逐渐降低;在时间上差异也显著(P<0.01),9月份最高(2664.17ind./L),12月份最低(85.00ind./L)。水质评价表明香溪河库湾属于中污染。  相似文献

2005年7月至2006年6月,通过对大型底栖无脊椎动物的量化检测,对三峡水库湖北库区最大河流香溪河的大型底栖无脊椎动物空间分布进行了研究.结果表明:四节蜉、高翔蜉、短尾石蝇为香溪河水系大型底栖动物优势类群;香溪河各支流间生境特征及大型底栖无脊椎动物群落结构差异较大;功能摄食类群密度相对丰度的变化能够反映不同的栖境特征.对生物多样性指数及优势类群耐污值的比较表明,大型底栖动物栖境为九冲河最好,香溪河干流次之,高岚河和古夫河较差.典型对应分析表明:铵态氮对香溪河大型底栖动物群落结构影响显著;pH值、浊度、水深、二氧化硅、电导和碱度对九冲河大型底栖动物群落结构影响显著;浊度对高岚河大型底栖动物群落结构影响显著;铵态氮和硝酸盐氮对古夫河大型底栖动物群落结构影响显著.  相似文献

We studied enrichment of heavy metals (V, Zn, Cr, Ni, Cu, Pb, As, Sb, and Cd) in a rural stream of the Kuji River basin in central Japan in suspended particulate matter, and associated transport flux during two rainfall events (in November 2003 and in April 2008). The concentration of heavy metals in suspended particulate matter (SPM) exhibited a distinctive temporal variation, wherein the concentrations decreased with increasing water discharge and then increased as the discharge decreased. Concentration of dissolved metal forms showed a slight increase with scatters around the flow rate peak. Enrichment factors for those metals in the SPM decreased sharply as the flow rate increased, making an obvious concave shaped curve (the November 2003 rainfall event). The metal enrichment factors under low flow conditions had a similarity to those found in atmospheric deposits at a foot of the Kuji River basin, suggesting atmospheric source would contribute to enriching the SPM with those metals in part. Mineralogical analyses and carbon content analysis (the April 2008 rainfall event) of the SPM suggests the SPM matrix became more lithological as the flow rate increased. The changes observed in the matrix are thought to be directly related to progressive changes in metal enrichment within the SPM. Concerning the transport phase of several heavy metals, a dynamic change in transport phase partitioning within a rainfall event was suggested. The present enrichment factor study and the SPM matrix characterization implied the partitioning change is due to an increase in lithologic solids during high flow conditions.  相似文献

The formation, particle size distribution, structure and retention of aggregates were studied in a river‐lake system of the lowland River Spree and factors influencing these processes were evaluated. Samples were taken from the inflow and outflow of a flushed lake, as well as along the adjacent flowing reach of the River Spree, between April 2001 and May 2002. The aim was to record the influence of the seasons and different turbulence intensities on the size, shape, composition, abundance and transport properties of the particles. As additional parameters, the phytoplankton biomass, the concentration of suspended particulate matter, the concentrations of nutrients and the discharge were measured. The abundance of the particles showed a strong seasonality in the investigated period, which closely correlated with the concentrations of suspended particulate matter and particulate organic matter in the water column. The organic carbon content of the suspended matter varied between 37% (dry weight) in summer and about 14% in winter. The concentration of particles ranged between 500 and 2500 particles/ml. The number of particles was significantly lower upstream from the lake than at the downstream transects. The majority of the aggregates in the River Spree were smaller than 500 µm, most of the particles even showing a diameter less than 50 µm. Many particles, above all algae, were washed out of the lake Neuendorfer See into the adjacent flowing reach of the River Spree. Algae influenced the abundance of the particles and contributed to the formation of aggregates with their stickiness. In the river flowing section large particles were formed by turbulence structures, whilst simultaneously the number of smaller particles decreased in the water column caused by aggregation processes. In general, an increasing flow velocity and discharge rate resulted in a larger amount of aggregates in the water column. On the other hand, particle abundance was reduced in the flow direction when the flow velocity was low. Under these conditions particles were retained by sedimentation and benthic filter‐feeding. The current and potential uses of sedimentation field-flow fractionation (SdFFF) for characterizing suspended particulate matter (SPM) from natural waters is reviewed. Suitable sample preparation methods and run conditions are given which enable the particle size distribution of aquatic SPM to be determined. Samples collected from different natural waters display quite distinct differences in the shape of their particle size distribution.One of the major advantages of this high resolution separation technique is that fractions of specific size ranges can be collected for characterization by other analytical methods. This has been illustrated in this work with scanning electron microscopy and EDAX elemental analysis data. The potential to extend this approach using other characterization techniques such as inductively coupled-plasma mass spectrometry and X-ray diffraction is discussed.A method has been developed for combining adsorption experiments with SdFFF separations that enables the distributions of both the amount adsorbed and the surface adsorption density across the SPM size range to be determined with good resolution. This approach is illustrated by the adsorption of the herbicide glyphosate to two estuarine SPM samples.  相似文献

Suspended particulate matter (SPM) was collected from two sites in the Yarra River, Australia under a range of flow conditions using a continuous flow centrifuge. The SPM from the upstream, largely rural, site at Warrandyte had higher concentrations of organic matter, phosphorus and manganese. SPM collected from the downstream, largely urban, site at Heidelberg had elevated concentrations of lead and zinc. The concentrations of iron, copper and chromium in the SPM changed little between the two sites.Over the study period, the flow-weighted mean concentration of SPM increased 5-fold between the two sites and the load increased 7-fold. The annual load of SPM transported past Heidelberg was estimated to be 170 000 tonne, with approximately 80% occurring during high flows (> 15 m3 s-1 ). Detailed study of the SPM concentrations during flood events suggests that the northern tributaries to the Yarra are the main contributors of SPM in the region between Warrandyte and Heidelberg.The mean annual load of total phosphorus transported by the Yarra River at Heidelberg was estimated to be 220 tonne, approximately 2.5 times greater than at Warrandyte. Approximately 60% of this load was associated with SPM. The majority (ca. 80%) of this SPM-bound phosphorus was extractable with 0.1 M NaOH, and is therefore potentially biologically available.There was little difference between the two sites in the flow-weighted mean concentrations of iron, copper and chromium in SPM. The manganese concentration was approximately halved between Warrandyte and Heidelberg, with most of the loss occurring in the exchangeable and reducible fractions. Lead and zinc concentrations in SPM increased 15 to 16-fold between the two sites, with most of this increase occurring in the exchangeable and reducible fractions. This is some cause for concern, since metals in both these fractions could become available to biota under conditions known to exist in the Yarra estuary.  相似文献

A spectral model is developed describing the relation between optical spectral reflectance and sampled suspended particulate matter concentration. This reflectance model is based on inherent optical properties of North Sea colouring water constituents. Hyper spectral airborne observations by a CASI scanner are carried out in the Dutch coastal zone and interpreted making use of the reflectance model. A non linear relation between reflectance and suspended particulate matter concentration is found. Variability of sampled suspended matter concentration is high, in contrast to this the variability of interpreted spectral measurements is much lower. Previous measurements of the benthic nitrogen (N) flux from resuspended estuarine particles in the Thames Estuary appeared to underestimate benthic inputs. This study attempted to address experimental limitations by using a mini-annular flume. The flume has a 45 l capacity and was prepared in order to facilitate trace chemical analysis of N. Sediment (S1) and suspended particulate material (SPM; S2) were collected from the Tamar Estuary, UK, and added to prepared, low-N, freshwater and seawater solutions to give a final particle concentration of 500 mg l−1. Two tidal cycles were simulated and SPM and total dissolved N (TDN) were measured at a range of turbulent shear stresses (0.06–0.9 Pa) representative of the sampling sites. A large increase in TDN concentration was measured after particle addition and initial mixing, due to release of loosely bound particulate N (PN). The TDN concentration increased as the experiment progressed (up to 12 μM), but did not appear to be systematically linked to either salinity or SPM concentration. The flume system and experimental protocol provided reproducible physical data and low detection limits for TDN, which demonstrates its potential for studying relationships between estuarine particle transport and macronutrient cycles.  相似文献

Measurements of suspended matter, particulate organic carbon and dissolved organic carbon were made over a three year period at stations spanning 150 km of the tidal freshwater Hudson River. Suspended matter concentrations varied from year-to-year and were not related to freshwater discharge. The increase in suspended matter with depth in vertical profiles suggests that, during medium to low flow conditions, resuspension of bottom sediments was as important a source of sediment as loadings from tributaries. Particulate organic carbon showed significant variability among stations, and both autochthonous primary production and detrital organic matter are contributing to POC standing stocks. Dissolved organic carbon represented over half of the total organic carbon in the water column and showed little variation among stations.Examining downstream changes in transport showed that there was significant production of both suspended matter and POC within the study reach during the ice-free season. Tributary loadings within the study reach do not appear to be the cause of these increases in downstream transport. Dissolved organic carbon behaved conservatively in that there was no evidence for net production or net consumption within the river.The spatial/temporal patterns and analyses of transport suggest that suspended matter and POC, but not DOC, were controlled to a significant extent by processes occurring within the river and were not simply related to loadings from outside.  相似文献

Samples of suspended particulate matter (SPM) collected from the Humber Estuary had higher concentrations of particulate metals than SPM from Holderness coastal waters (U.K.). Characterised SPM from both sources was used in laboratory experiments involving the uptake of radiotracer109Cd,137Cs,54Mn and65Zn. Kinetic experiments, over five days, showed that the rate and extent of uptake was highly dependent on particle type, with109Cd,54Mn and65Zn being more reactive with Humber Estuary particles than those from Holderness and137Cs having the opposite trend. Adsorption experiments were also carried out on suspensions in which SPM from the Humber Estuary and Holderness coastal water were mixed in various proportions. These experiments revealed that Kd for65Zn increased linearly with the proportion of Humber SPM, Kd for137Cs decreased linearly with increase in Humber SPM and Kd for54Mn and109Cd displayed non-linear behaviour. The results of the study were used to develop an algorithm for predicting the partition coefficients in the Humber Plume based on the extent of particle mixing from the two source regions. The use of206/207Pb ratios in determining the extent of particle mixing is discussed, along with the application of the algorithm to the modelling of particulate trace metal behaviour in the Humber-Wash coastal zone.  相似文献

Measurements of sedimentation were combined with water samples to calculate settling velocity of suspended particulate matter (SPM) in lakes. The study sites were open water stations and enclosures in Lake Erken (Sweden) and Lake Balaton (Hungary). Settling velocities were found to vary considerably both inside and outside the enclosures. Within sites, the differences between 25th and 75th percentiles of measured settling velocities of SPM were two‐ or three‐fold. Median settling velocities of SPM ranged from around 0.5 m/d in the enclosures of Lake Erken to more than 8 m/d in the open water of Lake Balaton. Special relevance was attributed to flocculation, which is known to be affected by, e.g., SPM concentration and turbulence. Even though not directly measured, the less turbulent environment inside the enclosures was suggested to explain the low settling velocity compared to the open water environment. Settling velocity apparently correlated with water current speed (r2 = 0.66; n = 12). Stepwise multiple linear regressions were used to relate the variability in settling velocity of SPM to the variability of possible controlling factors in a number of data subsets. In most cases, one variable describing the total amount of settling material (e.g., SPM) and one variable reflecting the composition of settling material (e.g., total phosphorus) were chosen. The use of suspended solids concentration to predict settling velocity in mass balance models was discussed. It was found that the mean slope between SPM and vSPM was close to 0.1 (m4d–1 g–1). The Huanghe River (Yellow River) had been the second largest river in the world in terms of sediment load to the sea; however, the river water discharge and sediment flux to the sea and their seasonal variability have been significantly altered by the dam activities and recent water–sediment regulation. These changes are believed to have important impacts on the flux of phosphorus that is generally transported in particulate form. In this article, the samples of suspended particulate matter (SPM) were collected at the Lijin Station during two high-discharge events in 2005 and were separated by particle size. Sequential extractions were applied to determine the forms of P in different particle size fractions and to assess the potential bio-availability of particulate phosphorus (PP). Based on the in-laboratory measurement, the impacts of different hydrological regimes on the source of PP and its bio-availability were also analyzed. The results indicate that exchangeable, organic, authigenic, and refractory P were preferentially associated with clay, very fine, and fine silt fractions. Detrital P was mainly associated with the medium and coarse silt fractions. Detrital P and authigenic P (two forms of calcium bound phosphorus) were the dominant fractions in all samples. Thus, the potential bio-available PP (exchangeable P and organic P) was mainly associated with the finer particles, such as clay. Higher content of exchangeable, organic, authigenic, and residual P and lower content of detrital P were found during the period of rainstorm compared to that of WSR. P forms and partitioning of P forms among different particle size fractions were assumed to depend on the sources of SPM. It is likely that the pathways and fates of PP forms were controlled by damming and by the related changes of hydrological regime. Therefore, anthropogenic changes of hydrological regime and particle size dominanted the amount and distribution pattern of bio-available P transportation to the estuary and the adjacent sea, which will have profound impacts on the marine ecosystems at the Huanghe River Estuary and even the Bohai Sea.  相似文献
