Notes on the taxonomy of Diplotaxis DC. (Brassiceae)

Taxonomic changes in three species of Diplotaxis are proposed. Diplotaxis erucoides (L.) DC. subsp. cossoniana (Boiss.) Martinez-Laborde, comb, et stat. nov. is proposed for the Algerian subspecies of D. erucoides. Two North African varieties are raised to subspecific rank: D. tenuisiliqua Del. subsp. rupestris (Ball) Martinez-Laborde, stat. nov. and D. muralis (L.) DC. subsp. ceratophylla (Batt.) Martinez-Laborde, stat. nov.

A systematic assessment of Ophionella (Apocynaceae; Asclepiadoideae; Stapelieae)

An assessment of characters is carried out for Ophionella Bruyns to establish that it is monophyletic. It is also shown that Pectinaria sensu lata is paraphyletic. Two species are recognized: O. arcuata (N.E. Br.) Bruyns and O. willowmorensis Bruyns sp. nov. The status of O. arcuata var. mirkinii (Piians) Bruyns is changed to O. arcuata subsp. mirkinii (Pillans) Bruyns stat. nov.

报道了山东省新记录种子植物5种1亚种1变种1变型,即杭州榆、花叶鸡桑、蒙古白头翁、水栒子、关东巧玲花、毛莲蒿、魁蓟、白花长梗韭,分属7科、8属.     

A new subspecies of <Emphasis Type="Italic">Centaurea cassia</Emphasis> (Asteraceae) from Turkey

A new subspecies in sect. Jacea (Mill.) DC., Centaurea cassia Boiss. subsp. dumanii M. Dinç, A. Duran &; B. Bilgili subsp. nov., collected by the authors from South Anatolia, is described and illustrated. The new subspecies is restricted to Abies cilicica (Ant. &; Kotschy) Carr. subsp. cilicica forest above Göller Yaylas? (C6 Adana-Kozan). Diagnostic morphological characters from C. cassia subsp. cassia are discussed. The ecology, biogeography and conservation status of the new taxon are also presented.

A new check-list of the mosses of Turkey

Abstract

The check-list includes a list of genera, species, subspecies and varieties of Turkish mosses. It is composed of 726 species, subspecies and varieties representing 164 genera and 42 families. Accompanying the lists are a systematic arrangement of the genera, species and varieties and lists of synonyms, excluded species and of annotations. Three mosses, Pseudoleskeella rupestris (Berggr.) Hedenäs & L. Söderstr., Isothecium myosuroides Brid. var. brachythecioides (Dixon) C.E.O. Jensen, Eurhynchium hians (Hedw.) Sande. Lac. var. rigidum (Boulay) J.-P. Frahm are recorded as new for the moss flora of Turkey.

鸢尾柄锈菌一新变种及柄锈属国内一新记录

本文报道采自东北地区的鸢尾柄锈菌一新变种和柄锈属一国内新记录种。新变种命名为鸢尾柄锈菌多孔变种[Puccinia iridis(DC.)Wallr.var.polyporis W.C.Liu var.nov.],区别于原变种的主要特征是其夏孢子小,芽孔5—7个,散生;而后者夏孢子较大,芽孔2—4个,赤道生。新记录种是短果茴芹柄锈菌(Puccinia pimpinellae-brachycarpae Tranzsch.et Ere-meeva),寄生在短果茴芹(Pimpinella brachycarpa Nakai)上。标本保存于沈阳农业大学真菌标本室和中国科学院微生物研究所真菌标本室。

Five names in the genus Paracaryum (DC.) Boiss. are lectotypified here: P. calycinum Boiss. & Bal. (endemic to Turkey), P. lithospermifolium (Lam.) Grande subsp. cariense (Boiss.) R. Mill var. cariense, P. kurdistanicum (Brand) R. Mill (endemic to Turkey), P. sintenisii Hausskn. ex Bornm., and P. strictum (C. Koch) Boiss.     

Taxonomy of the Genus Triticum L.

In the present paper, an brief historical account and the comments on the modern taxonomic systems of the genus Triticum L. are made. The author suggests that principles to determine a species be (1) a special type of genome, and (2) reproductive isolation. The principles to determine a subspecies are the special co-type of genome and incomplete reproductive isolation. There are no differences on the level of genome constitution and no reproductive isolation between the varieties or concultivars. According to these principles, the author schemes a taxonomic system of the genus Triticum L. based on biosystematics as follows: Triticum monococcum L. sensu lat. subsp. boeoticum (Boiss.) Yen, st. nov. var. thaoudar (Reut ) Flaksb. concv. Einkhorn subsp. urartu (Tum.)Vap. T. timopheevi Zhuk. sensu lat. var. araraticum (Jakubz.) Yen, st. nov. T. zhukovskyi Men. et Er. T. turgidum L. sensu lat. var. dicoccoides (Körn. in litt. in Schweinf.) Bowden concv. (1) Emmer, (2) Durum wheat, (3) Rivet wheat, (4) Polish wheat, (5) Persian wheat. T. aestivum L. sensu lat. concv. Klasea serratuloides subsp. karamanica subsp. nov. (Asteraceae), from the central and south Anatolia transition zone,Turkey

A new subspecies, Klasea serratuloides (DC.) Greuter & Wagenitz subsp. karamanica B. Dogan & A. Duran (Asteraceae), is described and illustrated from Anatolia, Turkey. The subspecies grows on stony places in the Ayranc? and Ermenek district (C4 Karaman Province), Ere?li district (C5 Konya province) and Uluk??la (C5 Ni?de province) in the central and south Anatolia transition zone. It is morphologically similar to K. serratuloides subsp. serratuloides. Diagnostic morphological characters from closely similar taxa are discussed and arranged in a key. Ecology and conservation status of the subspecies is also presented. In addition, the geographical distribution of the new subspecies and other related species is mapped. The pollen morphology and achene surface of K. serratuloides subsp. karamanica and K. serratuloides subsp. serratuloides were examined by SEM.
