新小竹花形态结构及雌、雄配子体的发育研究   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
新小竹(Neomicrocalamus prainii)是一种小型攀援竹类,笋秆两用型竹种。该研究通过形态观察和石蜡切片的方法对新小竹花器官形态及解剖结构特征进行观察与描述,为研究竹类植物的生殖生物学提供新的理论信息。结果显示:(1)新小竹的花序为无限花序,没有小穗柄,成熟小穗平均长度为2.98 cm;每个小穗约有4~6朵小花,其中3~5朵为可育小花,顶端均有1朵不育小花;小穗基部有2~4个苞片;小穗轴每节长约0.52 cm。(2)新小竹的可育小花包括1片内稃、1片外稃、3枚浆片(浆片2大1小,边缘光滑)、6枚雄蕊和1枚雌蕊;雄蕊呈梭型,雌蕊羽毛状柱头三裂。(3)新小竹成熟花粉粒多为二核,具1个萌发孔;花药具有4个药室,花药壁由表皮、药室内壁、中层和绒毡层4层结构组成,绒毡层为腺质型;花药发育过程还存在多种异常情况。(4)新小竹子房一室,侧膜胎座,倒生胚珠,双珠被;大孢子母细胞由1个孢原细胞直接发育而成,合点端1个大孢子分化成为功能大孢子,由功能大孢子经过有丝分裂形成多核胚囊,直至发育成熟。研究表明,新小竹雄配子体存在发育异常现象,但大部分发育正常,其结实率低不仅与内在因素有关,外部环境也可能是导致其结实率低的重要因素。  相似文献

棉花竹(Fargesia fungosa)是箭竹属重要经济竹种,有关其花器官的形态与解剖结构研究至今尚无报道。本文通过对棉花竹花器官的形态与解剖结构进行观察和分析,结果显示棉花竹花序为“混合花序”,小穗基部具潜伏芽,由单个叶片形成的“佛焰苞”包裹多枚小穗。小穗单次发生,均长3.05±0.390 cm,每枚小穗具有3~7朵小花,小花均长1.85±0.167 cm,颖片2枚。每朵小花皆具有内、外稃各1片,3枚浆片,雄蕊3枚,雌蕊1枚组成。未成熟花药具有4药室,花药壁由外到内依次为表皮、药室内壁、中层和绒毡层。花药成熟后纵裂散粉。成熟花粉粒为2或3细胞型,且具有1个萌发孔。子房1室,上位,侧膜胎座,倒生胚珠,雌蕊具2分叉羽毛状柱头。花药发育异常,导致出现大量败育现象。  相似文献

为明确自然状态下青秆竹(Bambusa tuldoides)不同发育阶段花器官的形态以及雌雄配子体的发育状态,总结其败育类型,该文通过采用解剖和切片等方法对青秆竹花器官的各部分外观形态以及雌雄配子体的发育过程进行观察,并分析其结实率低下的原因。结果表明:(1)青秆竹小穗为无限花序,下部的小花先发育,但基部具有潜伏芽,因此又具有有限花序的特征;小穗柄不发达,簇生花枝节部。(2)每朵小花拥有内、外稃各1枚,花药6枚,浆片3枚,雌蕊1枚;浆片透明,边缘具有发达的纤毛;子房具棱,子房上部具绒毛,子房1室,侧膜胎座,倒生胚珠,三分枝羽状柱头。(3)青秆竹花药具有4个药室,花药壁由表皮、药室内壁、中层、绒毡层4层结构组成;绒毡层为腺质型,花药发育后期极度退化;小孢子母细胞分裂类型为连续型,产生两边对称型小孢子,花粉粒细胞成熟后为3核。(4)雄蕊和雌蕊出现多种败育类型,可能是导致结实率低的主要原因。综上结果表明,青秆竹花器官的形态结构发育正常,而雌雄配子体发育过程中出现异常,造成了其结实率低。  相似文献

用石蜡切片法对不同发育时期的大花紫薇(Lagerstroemia speciosa)花朵进行解剖研究,探讨其大小孢子的发生及雌雄配子体的发育过程,结果发现:大花紫薇花药4室,花药壁由表皮、药室内壁、中层和腺质绒毡层构成,发育类型为双子叶型;小孢子四分体多为四面体型,偶见十字交叉型,胞质分裂为同时型;成熟花粉粒属于2-细胞型,具3孔沟,偶见败育现象;大花紫薇雌蕊具6~7心皮,子房6~7室,每室具多枚倒生胚珠,双珠被,厚珠心,大孢子4分体呈直线排列,近合点端大孢子发育为蓼型胚囊,成熟胚囊为7细胞8核。花粉及胚囊发育多数正常,大花紫薇可以作为优良的杂交母本;同时可以根据开花物候不同阶段花的形态特征,初步判断大花紫薇大、小孢子发生和雌、雄配子体的发育进程。  相似文献

濒危植物三棱栎(Trigonobalanus doichangensis)株高约4m就进入生殖期。不同居群或居群内不同小环境植株的始花期略有不同,纬度偏北或高海拔地段的植株开花早,低海拔或低纬度分布的植株开花相对较晚,多数植株的花果期为10月至翌年5月,而居群内其它壳斗科植物的花果期为当年4~10月。三棱栎花药具4个小孢子囊,药壁发育方式为双子叶型;腺质绒毡层,细胞多具二核;小孢子母细胞在减数分裂过程中胞质分裂为同时型,小孢子四分体排列多为四面体形,偶为交叉型;成熟花粉为二细胞型花粉粒。在三棱栎小孢子发生、雄配子体形成及花药壁发育过程中未见败育或其它异常现象。三棱栎的雄蕊发育过程不存在生殖上的缺陷,不是造成其结实率低的原因。  相似文献

以洋葱JQS-1、MST-140、Red beauty 3个常规栽培品种的鳞茎为试材,观察统计洋葱花器数目的变化,探讨花器数目的变异与植物花器多样性的关系,为植物花器发育模式以及植物分类和系统发育研究提供依据。结果表明:(1)洋葱花序中正常的洋葱小花含有6枚雄蕊,一些异常小花雄蕊的数目减少到5枚或增加到7~11枚;正常花药中的花粉粒数量大、形状规则、分散均匀,而异常花药中的花粉粒形状不规则。(2)雌蕊数目也发生变异,子房由正常的3室,变成了2室、4室或6室;花柱从正常1枚,增加到2枚或3枚。(3)正常小花含有6片花被片,异常小花的花被片数目从5片到10片。(4)花被片与雄蕊数目的变异有同步增减和非同步增加2种类型。  相似文献

用石蜡切片法对极度濒危植物西畴含笑(Michdia coriacea)的大小孢子发生和雌雄配子体发育过程进行观察.西畴含笑的花药为四囊型,花药壁5~7层,腺质绒毡层;小孢子形成时胞质分裂方式为修饰性同时型;四分体排列方式多为四面体型和十字交叉型,偶为不规则形状;成熟花粉粒为二细胞型.西畴含笑的胚珠倒生,双珠被,厚珠心;大孢子母细胞减数分裂形成线形四分体,合点端大孢子为功能大孢子,胚囊发育类型为蓼型.西畴含笑胚胎学特征与木兰科多数种类一样,均表现出胚胎发育的原始性.西畴含笑大小孢子发生和雌雄配子体发育过程中存在严重异常发育特征,这可能是导致其结实率低的重要原因.  相似文献

采用体视显微镜、扫描电镜和石蜡切片技术对山鸡椒(Litsea cubeba(Lour.) Pers.)雄花花芽分化发育的外部形态和内部解剖结构进行了观察研究。结果显示:(1)山鸡椒雄花花芽分化发生可分为5个时期,即未分化期、花序原基分化期、苞片原基分化期、花原基分化期和花器官分化期,其中花器官分化期又可细分为花被原基分化期、雄蕊原基分化期和雌蕊原基分化期;各相邻分化时期存在一定重叠现象;花期从翌年1月上旬至3月下旬。(2)雄花成熟结构中具有独特的雄蕊蜜腺,蜜腺绿色且形态不规则,着生于内轮雄蕊基部,分布于花丝两侧,夹在内外轮雄蕊的花丝之间,与内轮花丝紧密相连。(3)雄蕊花药四室,花药壁发育属于基本型;腺质绒毡层;小孢子母细胞减数分裂过程中胞质分裂属于连续型;成熟花粉为2-细胞花粉粒;成熟花粉粒外壁刺突较多,刺突基部膨大,外壁露出部分粗糙,无薄壁区,有少数小穿孔。(4)山鸡椒雄花中绝大多数雌蕊发育至腹缝线卷合形成子房室时停止,柱头发育不良或者败育,花柱缩短或缺失,不能受精,直到开花结束,即发生退化。本研究明确了山鸡椒雄花花芽发育发生各个阶段时间、形态变化特点及外部形态变化特征,山鸡椒小孢子发生、雄配子体发育至散粉期变化特点和规律以及雄花中退化雌蕊发育的进程,可为山鸡椒优良品种选育、调控花期和提高结实率提供一定的参考。  相似文献

利用扫描电镜(SEM)观察了黄顶菊(Flaveria bidentis(L.)Kuntz)花序发育过程中蝎尾状聚伞花序、头状花序和小花的形成.黄顶菊的花序由主轴及一至三级分枝组成,各级分枝交互对生,形成方式相同.植株主轴和侧枝顶端的每个花序由3~6个蝎尾状聚伞花序密集而成;每一蝎尾状聚伞花序由5~15个头状花序组成;每一头状花序中有4~11枚小花.小花分化顺序为5个花冠原基、5个雄蕊原基和2个心皮原基.2007年,天津地区黄顶菊的花期是7月下旬到9月下旬.7月中旬,花序和花器官原基不断形成并分化,至花器官成熟经历的时间约15 d.  相似文献

通过石蜡切片的方法对巨龙竹生殖器官结构、大小孢子的发生和雌、雄配子体的发育过程进行了观察研究。 巨龙竹为一心皮组成的单室单子房,子房内具有一个胚珠,倒生、双珠被、厚珠心。大孢子母细胞减数分裂形成线形排列的4个大孢子,合点端大孢子具功能。胚囊的发育为蓼型,具多个反足细胞。巨龙竹的花药壁由4层结构组成,包括表皮、药室内壁、中层、绒毡层;花药壁发育为单子叶型,绒毡层为腺质型。小孢子母细胞减数分裂中的胞质分裂为连续型,四分孢子为四面体型;成熟花粉粒为2细胞型,具1个萌发孔。小穗发育雌雄异熟,雌蕊的发育早于雄蕊的发育。  相似文献

Ecological interactions between flowers and pollinators greatly affect the reproductive success. To facilitate these interactions, many flowers are known to display their attractive qualities, such as scent emission, flower rewards and floral vertical direction, in a rhythmic fashion. However, less is known about how plants regulate the relationship between these flower traits to adapt to pollinator visiting behavior and increase reproduction success. Here we investigated the adaptive significance of the flower bending from erect to downward in Trifolium repens. We observed the flowering dynamic characteristics (changes of vertical direction of florets, flowering number, pollen grain numbers, pollen viability and stigma receptivity over time after blossom) and the factors affecting the rate of flower bending in T. repens. Then we altered the vertical direction of florets in inflorescence of different types (upright and downward), and compared the pollinator behaviors and female reproductive success. Our results showed that florets opened sequentially in inflorescence, and then bend downwards slowly after flowering. The bending speed of florets was mainly influenced by pollination, and bending angle increased with the prolongation of flowering time, while the pollen germination rate, stigma receptivity and nectar secretion has a rhythm of “low-high-low” during the whole period with the time going. The visiting frequency of all the four species of pollinators on upward flowers was significantly higher than that of downward flowers, and they especially prefer to visit flowers with a bending angle of 30°–60°, when the flowers was exactly of the highest flower rewards (nectar secretion and number of pollen grains), stigma receptivity and pollen germination rate. The seed set ratio and fruit set ratio of upward flowers were significantly higher than downward flowers, but significantly lower than unmanipulated flowers. Our results indicated that the T. repens could increase female and male fitness by accurate pollination. The most suitable flower angle saves pollinators’ visiting energy and enables them to obtain the highest nectar rewards. This coordination between plants and pollinators maximizes the interests of them, which is a crucial factor in initiating specialized plant-pollinator relationships.  相似文献

The functional floral morphology of the three genera of Vivianiaceae (= Ledocarpaceae, Geraniales), Rhynchotheca, Viviania and Balbisia, is compared. Likely pollination mechanisms are inferred from morphology and field observations. The flowers of Viviania are nectariferous and apparently zoophilous with nectar as the (primary) pollinator reward. Balbisia has pollen flowers without nectaries, its showy corolla indicates that it is also zoophilous with pollen as sole pollinator reward; bees were observed as flower visitors. One taxon (B. gracilis) may be anemophilous. Rhynchotheca has flowers without petals, with large, pendulous anthers and lacks nectaries. It shows synchronous mass flowering in its natural populations and is evidently anemophilous. A comparison with other Geraniales shows that nectar flowers with small anthers are likely the ancestral condition in Vivianiaceae. This suggests that the pollen flowers with larger anthers of Balbisia and Rhynchotheca may represent an apomorphic condition. The documentation of pollen flowers and anemophily in Vivianiaceae expands the range of known floral and pollination syndromes in Geraniales.  相似文献

丰都车前为三峡库区特有珍稀濒危植物,目前仅在重庆市江津支坪镇涂家村附近大中坝上有一小种群分布。以野生种群和移栽种群为对象,通过野外观察和人工授粉实验对丰都车前传粉生物学及繁育系统进行研究。结果表明:(1)丰都车前单花花期约4 d,花序花期约8 d,种群花期约3个月;单花开花进程可分为6个时期:花蕾期、雌蕊伸长期、雄蕊初露期、花瓣展开期、花瓣反折期、枯萎凋谢期。(2)花瓣展开前,柱头先伸出花冠,达最高可受性,之后花瓣展开雄蕊才露出,而此时大部分柱头已枯萎失活丧失可受性,只有少部分具可受性。表现出雌雄异熟的特征,一定程度避免了自交的发生。(3)花粉活力始于雄蕊初露期,花瓣展开、花药开裂时花粉活力最高,至枯萎凋谢前均具有活力。花粉活力最高期避开了柱头可受性最佳期,仅有少部分重叠。(4)繁育系统检测显示,花粉/胚珠比为15373.29,杂交指数为3。结合套袋实验表明,丰都车前可能同时具有风媒和虫媒传粉机制,传粉昆虫为中华蜜蜂、食蚜蝇,但数量偏少,不存在无融合生殖,异交为主,部分自交亲和,有时需要传粉者。(5)开花时期避开了其分布地洪水淹没期,能够顺利完成开花授粉及座果。综上所述,丰都车前的花部特征、开花物候和繁育系统为适应分布地夏季洪水水淹胁迫提供了一定的生殖保障,促进了该种群的续存。  相似文献

Osyris alba L. is a widespread dioecious hemiparasitic shrub of S Europe, N Africa, and SW Asia. Male inflorescences are multiflowered whereas each female inflorescence is reduced to a single flower with persistent enlarged bracts. Pollination is a prerequisite for fruit and seed development and wind is unlikely to be an effective means of pollen spread. In southern Italy pollen is transported by small unspecialized flies and beetles. Both male and female flowers produce an indistinguishable sweet odour. Male flowers are produced in large numbers and over a larger period than the females and provide pollen, nectar, and staminal hairs as rewards for pollinators. The presence and function of staminal hairs with tip cells inOsyris alba has been reported for the first time. Female flowers are rewardless, producing neither mature pollen, nectar nor staminal hairs, but possess three modified yellow indehiscent anthers containing no viable pollen which may provide a strong visual feeding stimulus for pollinators. It is suggested that pollinators are attracted by deceit to female flowers by mimicry of the males and the floral mimicry is, therefore, intraspecific and intersexual. The floral characteristics and flowering phenology of male and female plants are consistent with this kind of mimicry. The female flower possesses a tricarpellary ovary with three ovules of which only one develops. The single seed, containing a small embryo and a large, rich endosperm, is borne in a red fleshy bird-dispersed fruit. The reduction in seed number per flower to one highly nutrient-invested seed, together with a reduction of the multiflowered inflorescence to a solitary flower and the sequential production of ripe fruits over an extended fruiting season, suggest that the female function is markedly resource-limited. It is suggested that, although all the reproductive characteristics present inOsyris alba, as well as hemiparasitism, had probably evolved before the end of the tropical Tertiary, they are of adaptive advantage in the nutrient and water-limited environment of the Mediterranean maquis.  相似文献

两性花植物花序内不同位置的性分配和繁殖成功一般存在差异,通常认为资源竞争、结构效应和交配环境是形成这种差异的主要原因。为了研究雄性和雌性繁殖资源在花序内不同位置间的最优分配问题,该文以青藏高原高寒草甸典型高山植物毛翠雀花为材料,通过比较花序内不同位置的花部特征和种子性状,对其花序内的性分配模式和雌性繁殖成功进行研究,并通过观察传粉者运动特点以及人工去花和补授花粉实验,探讨花序内资源竞争和交配环境对繁殖资源分配的影响。结果表明:(1)不同位置间的雄蕊数、雄蕊鲜重/雌蕊鲜重、花粉数及花粉胚珠比从花序基部到上部显著增加,而雌蕊鲜重和胚珠数逐渐减少,表现出上部花偏雄的性分配;上部花的结籽率显著低于基部花和中部花,不同位置间的发育种子数/果实和发育种子重/果实随着花位置的升高而显著降低,说明基部花具有更佳的雌性繁殖成效。(2)去花处理后,剩余果实的单个种子重/果实显著增加,但发育种子数/果实没有显著增加;而给上部花人工补授异花花粉后,位置间结籽率的差异消失,说明传粉限制而非资源竞争导致了花序内位置依赖的种子生产模式。(3)毛翠雀花雄性先熟的开花特征,以及传粉者苏氏熊蜂从花序基部到上部的定向访花行为,导致了花序内交配环境的变化。综上结果表明,毛翠雀花花序内的性分配和繁殖成功差异是对交配环境适应的结果,对其在高山环境中实现雌雄适合度最优化具有重要意义。  相似文献

通过野外观察,运用套袋授粉和联苯胺-过氧化氢法等实验方法对距瓣尾囊草开花物候以及种群的繁育系统特性进行研究。研究结果:1)距瓣尾囊草为两性花,聚伞状花序,花期较长,从头年12月持续到次年4月,单花花期持续8—15 d,种群花期可持续4个月左右。2)距瓣尾囊草在花朵未开放前花粉没有活力,花药开裂当天花粉活力达到94.8%,第2天为90.3%,第3天为81.6%,第4天为62.9%,此后其花粉活力明显减弱;柱头可授性于散粉后第3天开始出现,散粉后4—5天最强,散粉后第8天柱头失去可授性;柱头可授性和花粉活力有5 d左右的重叠期。3)其花粉胚珠比P/O为938.5±250,按照Cruden标准划分,其有性繁育系统为兼性异交。4)按照Dafni的标准,距瓣尾囊草的OCI=4,即繁育系统为异交、部分自交亲和、需要传粉者。5)人工异花授粉结实率达80%以上,略高于自然结实率78.94%;直接套袋结实率为5.71%;去雄套袋和去雌套袋均不结实。以上结果表明,距瓣尾囊草繁育系统表现为异交为主、部分自交亲和并且不存在无融合生殖现象,其开花物候、花部特征和繁育系统为适应特殊的环境提供了一定的生殖保障,本次研究结果为距瓣尾囊草的迁地保护和种群的繁衍复壮提供理论依据。  相似文献

Schrankia nuttalii flowers through late spring on the tallgrass prairie. Although each stem produces an average of 26 capitate inflorescences only 12% of those inflorescences will open each day to disperse and receive polyads. Each inflorescence may live up to 48 hours but anthers abscise by late afternoon on the first day and the filaments change color and lose their scent. The 78–93 florets comprising each inflorescence open synchronously before dawn or during early morning hours. First day inflorescences ofS. nuttallii are herkogamous and fragrant. They are nectarless. Bombyliid flies and male bees are infrequent floral foragers so the major pollinators include female bees representing five families;Anthophoridae, Apidae, Colletidae, Halictidae, andMegachilidae. All foraging insects ignore second day inflorescences although stigmas are still receptive. Although 97% of all bees collected onS. nuttallii carrySchrankia polyads in their scopae or corbiculae 59% also carry the pollen/pollinaria of one or more coblooming angiosperms. At least 98% of all bees carrying mixed pollen loads incorporate the pollen/pollinaria of one or more nectariferous taxa (e.g.Asclepias spp.,Asteraceae, Convolvulaceae, Delphinium spec., etc.). Species of halictid bees are more likely to carry pure loads ofS. nuttallii polyads (70%) than bees of the four remaining families. Due to the nectarless florets and high degree of polylectic foraging bee-pollination inS. nuttallii converges more closely with the pollination systems of some AustralianAcacia spp. than with most other xeric/tropical genera of mimosoids studied in the western hemisphere.  相似文献

两性花植物花序内的性分配常存在差异,资源竞争、结构效应、交配环境(雌雄异熟、传粉者定向访花行为等)或授粉不均匀等几种假说可以解释这种现象。为验证上述假说,该研究以云南草寇两种表型(雄先熟型和雌先熟型)为材料,分析了其花序内不同部位(基部、中部和顶部)的每花花粉数、胚珠数、花粉/胚珠比、结实率和结籽率,花序内传粉者的定向访花行为,以及人工辅助授粉和去花处理对结实率和结籽率的影响。结果表明:两种表型花序内每花花粉数不随部位而变化,每花胚珠数、结实率和结籽率由基部到顶部依次降低,每花花粉/胚珠比由基部到顶部依次增加,表明顶部花存在偏雄的性分配。人工辅助授粉后,结实率、结籽率仍由基部到顶部依次降低,表明授粉不均匀假说不能解释云南草寇花序内不同部位结实率、结籽率的差异。去除基部和中部花后,顶部花人工辅助授粉条件下的结实率、结籽率与基部花人工辅助授粉条件下的结实率、结籽率无差异,表明云南草寇花序内不同部位结实率、结籽率的差异主要由资源竞争引起。雌先熟表型每花花粉数、花粉/胚珠比高于雄先熟表型,表明两种表型存在性分配差异。传粉者主要先访问云南草寇基部的花,然后向顶部移动。云南草寇花序内顶部偏雄的性分配可能是由资源竞争和传粉者定向访花造成的。  相似文献

对大叶相思(Acacia auriculiformis)栽培植株进行观察,用光学显微镜和扫描电子显微镜(SEM)对其花部形态和开花生物学特征进行研究。结果表明,大叶相思开花期为8~12月,穗状花序由114.9±11.9朵花组成,每朵花含124.1±16.5枚雄蕊,每雄蕊含有8粒16合花粉,单花花粉量为15885粒;雌蕊1枚,具14.4±1.8个胚珠,柱头凹陷,属于湿柱头类型。P/O值为1103.1;大叶相思花在夜间开放,开花可分为5个阶段。开花期间观察到雌蕊先于雄蕊伸出花冠和雄蕊先于雌蕊伸出花冠并存的现象,推测雌雄基本同熟。SEM观察花药在开花的第2阶段形成开裂线,第4阶段完全开裂并开始散粉。雄蕊于开花第1天的9: 00~12: 00大量散粉;雌蕊柱头在开花第1天上午出现分泌物,随后逐渐减少。开花后3~4 d柱头开始凋零,柱头可授期约为3 d,以开花第1天10: 00之后的可授性最佳。  相似文献
