Chrysotus Meigen (Diptera: Dolichopodidae) from Shanxi,China, with descriptions of two new species

The species of the genus Chrysotus Meigen from Shanxi, China are reviewed. Two species are described as new to science: C. shanxiensis sp. nov. and C. thornpenis sp. nov. C. biprojicienus Wei & Zhang and C. serratus Wang & Yang are recorded from Shanxi for the first time. A key to the species of Chrysotus from Shanxi is presented.     

A REVIEW OF THE GENUS A CRICOTOPUS KIEFFER （DIPTERA： CHIRONOMIDAE） IN CHINA

The genus Acricotopus Kieffer including three species from China is reviewed.Acricotopus lucens (Zetterstedt) is reexamined. Two species A. simplex sp. nov. and A.zhalingensis sp. nov. are described as male imagines. Acricotopus simplex sp. nov. was collected from Xizang, Sichuan and Qinghai Provinces; the species differs from others of the genus by the absence of hind tibial comb, temporal and clypeal seta. Acricotopus zhalingensis sp. nov. was collected from Qinghai Province; the species is recognized by a combination of characters: the larger body size; the clypeus without setae; anal lobe strongly produced, nearly hemispherical shape; inferior volsella triangular, strongly sclerotized; gonostylus with 13 very long setae. A key to the world males of the genus is presented. The generic diagnosis is emended.All the types described in this paper are deposited in Department of Biology, Nankai University,China (BDN).     

NEW GENUS AND NEW SPECIES OF ISOMETOPIDAE FROM CHINA (Hemiptera - Heteroptera)

The present paper deals with four species belonging to three genera, in which a genus (Paraletabo gen. nov.) and four species are described as new to science, a genus (Sophianus Distant) is recorded for the first time from China. The type specimens are deposited in the Department of Biology, Nankai University. The new genus and new species are briefly diangnosed as follows.     

Revision of Phaedon Latreille from China (Coleoptera:Chrysomelidae)

Sixteen species of the genus Phaedon Latreille are revised and illustrated from China, including five new species described herein, namely P. geminatus sp. nov., P. huizuensis sp. nov., P. igori sp. nov., P. insolitus sp. nov., P. prosternalis sp. nov. All species are redescirbed or original described. Figures of important morphological features are provided. The natural history of some species are provided including the host plants records. A key to species of Phaedon from China is presented. The type specimens of the new species described here are deposited in Institute of Zoology, Chinese Academy of Sciences(IZCAS), Mauro Daccordi collection(MDC), Horst Kippenberg collection(HKC) and Zoological Institute, Russian Academy of Sciences(ZIN).     

Three new species of imitator-group of the genus Macrophya (Hymenoptera,Tenthredinidae) from China

Three species, Macrophya circulotibialis Li, Liu & Heng, sp. nov., M. curvatitheca Li, Liu & Heng, sp. nov. and M. changbaina Li, Liu & Heng, sp. nov., of the imitator-group of the genus Macrophya Dahlbom(Hymenoptera, Tenthredinidae) from China are described as new to science. A key to all known species of the imitator-group from China is provided. The specimens examined in this study, including all holotypes and paratypes of the new species, are deposited in the Insect Collection of Central South University of Forestry and Technology, Changsha, Hunan, China, and the Department of Zoology, National Museum of Nature and Science, Amakubo, Tsukuba, Ibaraki, Japan.     

Two new species of the genus Libnotes Westwood (Diptera:Limoniidae) from China,with a key to Chinese species

Two new species of the genus Libnotes Westwood, 1876, L.(Libnotes) wanensis sp. nov. and L.(L.) pseudonohirai sp. nov. from Southern China(Anhui) are described and illustrated here. A key to all of Chinese species in the subgenus Libnotes(Libnotes) is provided. The type specimens of the new species are deposited in the animal specimen room, School of Life Sciences, Anqing Normal University, Anhui Province, China.     

ON THE NEW SUBFAMILY HEMIPTERIPSYLLINAE (Homoptera: Sternorrhyncha)

The very peculiar spinose psyllids Togepsylla with only two species were described from China and Japan by Satoru Kuwayama (1931, 1949), R. Takahashi (1936) and Y. Miyatake (1970). Two more species discovered by the authors from China (Fujian and Tibet) are described as new, and a new genus is added. The type specimens are deposited in the insect collections of Beijing Agricultural University. Genus Togepsylla Kuwayama 1931 Type sp.: T. takahashii Kuwayama.     

A SUMMARIZED REPORT ON REDUVIINAE OF CHINA (HEMIPTERA: REDUVIIDAE)

The present paper enumerates 42 species of 16 genera of the subfamily Reduviinae discovered in China. Among them eight genera and 10 species are recorded for the first time from this country (new records marked with an) while 14 species are described as new to science. Acanthaspis aberrans China, representing the female of A. westermanni, is sunk as a junior synonym of A. westermanni Reut. Reduvius ursinus Jak., representing the female of R. fasciatus, is sunk as a junior synonym of R. fasciatus Reut. Keys to genera and species are given.     

LOWER CAMBRIAN UNIVALVED MOLLUSCS FROM KURUKTAG,XINJIANG

The Lower Cambrian univalved molluscs described in the present paper were collected in 1977—1978 by the geological parties from the base of the Xidashan Formation around Xidashan, Kuruktag, Xinjiang. The material is generally well-preserved and includes three species ascr bed to three genera, in which one genus and three species are new, namely, Helcionella xinjiangensis sp. nov., Eocyrtolites radiatus gen. et sp. nov., and Cyrtodiscus? kuruktagensis sp. nov..Among them, the genus Helcionella is a common from in the Cambrian in many parts of the world, and it also has been reported from the Cambrian formations of the North China Province and from the Huangshandong Member of the Lower Cambrian Tongying Formation of the Yangtze Provinnce in China.     

褐小卷蛾属分类研究及一新种记述(鳞翅目:卷蛾科:新小卷蛾亚科)

This paper deals with two species of the genus Antichlidas Meyrick. Antichlidas trigonia sp. nov. is described as new to science. The adult photograph and the genital structures of the new species are provided. A key to the described species is given.     

中国菲寄蝇属分类研究(双翅目: 寄蝇科)

经研究发现中国菲寄蝇属现共有9种,其中包括4新种：金额菲寄蝇Phebellia aurifrons sp. nov.,褐粉菲寄蝇Ph. fulvipollinis sp. nov.,宽叶菲寄蝇Ph. latisurstyla sp. nov.和毛基节菲寄蝇Ph. setocoxa sp. nov.。我国新记录3种：叶蜂菲寄蝇Ph. clavellariae (Brauer & Bergenstamm),灰粉菲寄蝇Ph. glauca (Meigen)和拟灰粉菲寄蝇Ph. glaucoides Herting。本文除详细描述新种特征及绘制特征图外,还提供中国菲寄蝇属已知种类的分种检索表。     

辽宁老秃顶子自然保护区寄蝇科新种和新纪录(昆虫纲,双翅目)(英文)

系统地整理、分类和鉴定了辽宁老秃顶子自然保护区采集到的1500余号寄蝇科标本,其中发现并记述了3新种:祝氏喙寄蝇Mycteromyiella zhui,狭额毛瓣寄蝇Nemoraea angustifrons,桓仁突颜寄蝇Phasia huanrenensis;并报告3中国新纪录属(Mycteromyiella,寻寄蝇属Eliozeta、蛛寄蝇属Dicarca),8个中国新纪录种(三鬃菲寄蝇Phebellia triseta、毛菲寄蝇P.villica、加藤芙蕊寄蝇Phryno katoi、阿格筒腹寄蝇Cylindromyia agnieszkae、明寻寄蝇Eliozeta pellucens、高野短须寄蝇Linnaemya(Ophina)takanoi、敏阳寄蝇Panzeria laevigata、河蛛寄蝇Dicarca fluviatilis)。模式标本和其它标本均保存在沈阳师范大学昆虫标本馆。祝氏喙寄蝇,新种Mycteromyiella zhuisp.nov.(图1～7)本种外形近似于分布日本九州的缘喙寄蝇M.marginalis Shima,但区别于后者的主要特征为:额较窄,后面观肛尾叶较长,端部窄而尖,侧尾叶端部钝圆,明显宽于前种。正模♂,辽宁省桓仁县老秃顶子国家级自然保护区,2009-06-24～25,张春田采。副模15♂♂,采集地点和时间同正模,张春田和赵哲采。词源:新种名以辽宁省老秃顶子国家级自然保护区管理局祝业平科长姓氏命名,纪念他30多年来为辽宁省生物多样性保护事业所做的突出贡献。狭额毛瓣寄蝇,新种Nemoraea angustifronssp.nov.(图8～14)本种外形近似于高野毛瓣寄蝇N.takanoi(Baranov),但其别于后者的主要特征是体较小,单眼鬃细长且明显,雌、雄腹部第3背板均具4根中缘鬃和2～4对不规则的心鬃,雌性足均红黄色。正模♂,辽宁省桓仁县老秃顶子国家级自然保护区,2006-07-11,杨正卿采。副模:1♂,采集地点同正模,2006-06-01,冯立勇采;2♀♀,2009-06-25,赵哲和王强采。词源:新种名字来源于其外形特点具较窄的"angust"额"frons"。桓仁突颜寄蝇,新种Phasia huanrenensis sp.nov.(图15～21)本种外形近似于须突颜寄蝇群P.barbifrons-group中的罗氏突颜寄蝇P.rohdendorfi(Draber-Mońko),但区别于后者的主要特征是颊高较短,第1触角节较长,颜脊仅在下半部具鬃,下颚须端部和基部暗棕色,中部红黄色,前足胫节无前鬃,后胫具4～5根前背鬃,侧尾叶侧面观端部膨大。正模♂,辽宁省桓仁县老秃顶子国家级自然保护区,2006-05-30,冯立勇采。副模:4♂♂,采集地点同正模,1994-06-09,魏德采;37♂♂,5♀♀,2006-05-31和2006-06-01,张春田、刘家宇等采,6♂♂,1♀,2009-06-01,张春田、付超采。词源:新种名字源于标本采集地点辽宁省桓仁县。     

辽宁铁刹山寄蝇科一新种及中国三新纪录种(双翅目,寄蝇科)(英文)

发现并记述产自辽宁东部本溪县铁刹山国家森林公园寄蝇科中国3新纪录种:红肛角刺寄蝇Acemya pyrrhocera(Villeneuve),茎何寄蝇Hemyda obscuripennis Meigen,条何寄蝇H.vittata(Meigen)和1新种;新种模式标本和其它研究标本均保存在沈阳师范大学昆虫标本馆。     

中国距水虻属六新种(双翅目:水虻科)

记述中国距水虻属Allognosta Meigen 6新种,即保山距水虻 A.baoshana,sp.nov.,红河距水虻A.honghensis,sp.nov.,金平距水虻A.jinpingensis,sp.nov.,单斑距水虻A singularis,sp.nov.,腾冲距水虻A.tengchongana,sp.n...     

中国毛膝蝇属研究并记四新种(双翅目,蝇科)

记述分布于我国的蝇科Muscidae圆蝇亚科Mydaeinae中的毛膝蝇属Hebemema Sdmabl,1889已知种类,共9种,其中有4新种:毛眼毛膝蝇H.dasyopos.nov.,玛纳斯毛膝蝇H.manasicus sp.nov.,隐颜毛膝蝇 H.invisifacies sp.nov.和西蜀毛膝蝇 H.xishuicum sp.nov.,对其形态特征进行了详细描述,编制了该属中国已知种检索表.前2种模式标本藏于军事医学科学院微生物流行病研究所医学昆虫标本馆;后2种藏于中国科学院上海植物生理生态研究所昆虫博物馆.     

中国异蚤蝇属一新种及二新记录种记述(双翅目:蚤蝇科)

A new Megaselia species: Megaselia angustirostris Fang & Liu, sp. nov., is described and illustrated and two species of the genus, M. nigra (Meigen) and M. albicaudata (Wood), are reported for the first time from China. The type specimens are deposited in College of Biological and Environmental Engineering, Shenyang University.     

中国大跗突瓣叶蜂种团一新种（膜翅目：叶蜂科）

合室舞虻属Tachydromia Meigen是舞虻科中较大的属,已知112种分布世界各地.我国以前已知10种.本文首次发现合室舞虻属在陕西有分布,记述2新种:基黄合室舞虻Tachydromia basiflava sp.nov.和粗鬃合室舞虻Tachydromia crassisetosa sp.nov.,均属于白毛合室舞虻种团Tachydromia arrogans species group,并编制了中国合室舞虻属分种检索表.     

中国滑菌蚊属四新种记述（双翅目：菌蚊科）

记述中国滑菌蚊属4新种:浅黄滑菌蚊Leia bubaline sp.nov.,密毛滑菌蚊Leia densisetosa sp.nov.,黑龙江滑菌蚊Leia heilongjiangensis sp.nov.,和粗角滑菌蚊Leia robusticornis sp.nov.。编制了该属中国种类检索表。模式标本保存于浙江农林大学昆虫标本室。     

中国秽蝇属虎秽蝇种团（双翅目：蝇科）分类研究

虎秽蝇种团隶属于双翅目蝇科的秽蝇属,全世界已记录有7种。通过对我国虎秽蝇种团进行整理,总结我国该种团共8种(亚种),编制了分种检索表,并对其中的l新种和2新亚种分别予以记述,即：(1)白瓣秽蝇,新种Coenosiaalbisquamasp．nov．,该新种近似c．breviaedeagusWu et Xue,1996,但间额黑色无粉被,侧颜宽约为触角第三节宽l／3(后为2／3),小盾片背面灰色,仅后端缘棕色,中股前腹鬃较短,近端后背鬃l,腹部侧斑近三角形等可相区别。(2)褐瘦弱秽绳,新亚种Coenosia attenuata brunneasubsp．nov．,本新亚种与其指名亚种瘦弱秽蝇C．attenuata Stein,1903,雄性尾器大体相同,但以下方面区别明显：额、颜、侧颜和颊的粉被为棕褐色(不为灰白色),额狭于头宽的l／3,额三角达额上方的l／3(不在下方l／3),触角和下颚须黑褐色(不为完全黄色);胸部粉被褐色(不为灰色),盾片具3黑条,分别在中鬃和背中鬃列上(指名亚种无),腋瓣淡棕色;各足的基节、转节、股节和胫节的基半部为黑褐色(不为黄色),后股具短小的前腹鬃列;腹部粉被均暗褐色(不为灰色)。(3)版纳秽蝇,新亚种Coenosia strtitpes bannaensis subsp．nov．,该新亚种与主要分布于古北区的指名亚种毛足秽蝇C．strigipes和Sten,1916区别在于：雄性和雌性的额三角前端达额中部,侧颜较狭;触角第三节完全黄色;各足股节较细,中、后股节腹面无细长毛,后足胫节较直,各足跗节约等于胫节长;第l 2合背板具1对侧斑,第一腹板裸等。模式标本保存在沈阳师范大学昆虫研究所。     

中国栉甲属一新种及一新名记述(鞘翅目,拟步甲科,朽木甲亚科)(英文)

记述栉甲属Cteniopinus Seidlitz1新种,即红胸栉甲Cteniopinus rubithoracus sp.nov.,提供了雄虫成虫整体、头部和胸部背腹面观、触角、足、腹部肛节、阳茎以及雌性肛节特征照片。以新名防城栉甲Cteniopinus fangchengensisnom.nov.代替黄腿栉甲Cteniopinus flavifemurBaietRen,2004(necBorchmann,1930)。模式标本保存于河北大学博物馆。红胸栉甲,新种Cteniopinus rubithoracussp.nov.(图1～12)新种与红色栉甲Cteniopinus ruberPic,1923相似,区别于后者的主要特征为:体大型,体长22～24mm;宽7.5～8.5mm;外咽片褐色;前胸、中胸、后胸腹板及侧板为暗红色。正模♂,贵州省沿河县麻阳河毛家村,2007-06-05,王凤艳采。副模:1♀,记录同正模;1♀,贵州荔波茂兰,2010-08-06,牛一平,周勇采;1♀,湖南石门壶瓶山,2004-08-19,王继良采。词源:新种种名以前胸、中胸、后胸腹板及侧板为暗红色而拟定。防城栉甲,新名Cteniopinus fangchengensis Yanget Rennom.nov.Cteniopinus flavifemur Baiet Ren,2004.In:Insects from Mt.Shiwandashan Area of Guangxi.China Forestry Publishing House,Beijing.320-321.Cteniopinus flavifemur Baiet Ren,2004为Cteniopinus flavifemur Borchmann,1930的次同名,现命以新名Cteniopinus fangchengensis Yang et Ren,次同名同时废止。
