Abstract A key is given for the known Palaearctic and Oriental genera of the family Argidae including a new genus from China. Ortasiceros gen. nov. with five new species, O. nigriceps sp. nov., O. zhengi sp. nov., O. breoicornis sp. nov., O. curvata sp. nov. and O. elevata sp. nov. are described and figured. A new tribe, Ortasicerini trib. nov., is erected for the new genus and Copidocerus Forsius 1921. The type specimens are deposited in the Insect Collection of Central South Forestry University, Zhuzhou, China.  相似文献

贫丝菌属Oligonema是由Rostafinski在1875年建立的,至今仅承认4个种,中国前此尚无记载。作者在长白山采到的这份标本,孢丝极少且短小,中部膨肿,有不甚清晰的螺纹带,具贫丝菌的特征,与已知的种明显不同,因此确认为本属的新成员,定名为膨丝贫丝菌O. oedonema,主模式保存在中国科学院微生物研究所真菌标本室。  相似文献

本文描述了采自湖南龙山的竹锈一新种:竹生柄锈Puccinia bambusicola S.-x. Wei & J.-y. Zhuang。模式标本保藏在中国科学院微生物研究所真菌标本室.此菌与其它已知的寄生在竹上的柄锈比较,冬孢子很小(25-38 × 14-21 µm),顶壁也不厚(仅3-6 gym),近似于南美产的竹柄锈P. bambusarum Arth.,但后者冬孢子隔膜多为斜生且颜色较淡。附我国竹生柄锈属已知种的检索表。  相似文献

A new species of Psilophyton is described from serial peels of permineralized axes in terms of vasculature, cortical histology, and branching. The axes bear small, multicellular emergences, and wound tissue occurs on several of them. Anatomical changes associated with branching are analyzed and five different patterns described, some of which are new for the genus. Particularly noteworthy is the apparent lack of correlation of axis and stelar diameters in some branching sequences. This information adds to our knowledge of anatomy and variability within the genus Psilophyton and allows for closer comparison of Psilophyton to other plant groups.  相似文献

This new species is based on a single semifusinized cone from the Late Cretaceous (Cenomanian) of New Jersey. The cone is flattened but essentially complete. It is 55 mm long and 8 by 13 mm in diam. Scale apices are thin, rounded, and entire, lacking evidence of an umbo or spine. The vascular cylinder of the cone axis is organized as a series of separate strands. The scale is made up of a basal portion that stands out nearly perpendicular to the cone axis and a sharply upturned distal portion. The bract base has a pronounced abaxial keel. Bract and scale traces diverge from the vascular cylinder of the cone axis separately from one another. A poorly developed interseminal ridge is present at the chalazal end of the seeds. An unusual feature of the cone is the presence of a trichome-bearing epidermis on the cone axis, bract-scale complex, and near the scale apex. Resin canals diverge into the bract-scale complex abaxial to the scale trace with branches becoming adaxial to the scale trace outward. A number of features of the new species occur in cones of Abies, Cedrus, Keteleeria, Larix, Picea, Pseudolarix, Pseudotsuga, and Tsuga as well as in the extinct genus Pseudoaraucaria. Features of Pinus are absent. This suggests that Pseudoaraucaria may have served as an ancestral source for modern genera other than Pinus with Pityostrobus pubescens representing an evolutionary intermediate.  相似文献

A new species of Zosterophyllum, Z. divaricatum Gensel, is described from the late Early Devonian (Emsian) of northern New Brunswick, Canada. It is a Platyzosterophyllum type, consisting of slender sometimes bifurcating axes with laterally borne sporangia oriented to one side of the axis. The species is distinctive in that axes bifurcate within fertile regions and in sporangium shape and attachment. Aspects of the morphology of axis and sporangium cuticle, tracheids, and spores are presented and considered in relation to comparable features in other Zosterophyllum species. Associated vegetative axes exhibiting H- and K-branching patterns and also cuticular features similar to the fertile specimens are described and it is suggested that they may represent parts of the same plant. Zosterophyllum divaricatum is most similar to Z. llanoveranum, Z. fertile, and Z. spectabile, and also resembles Rebuchia ovata to some extent. Z. divaricatum offers considerable information on variation within one species concerning sporangium shape, attachment, and distribution and expands the known diversity of Platyzosterophyllum types.  相似文献

Two new chlorosphaeracean genera were isolated into axenic culture from soil collected in cedar glades in Cedars of Lebanon State Forest, Wilson County, Tennessee. The distinguishing characteristics of the new monotypic genus Axilosphaera include an axile (asymmetric) ckloroplast with at least 1 pyrenoid and Chlamydomonas-type (walled) zoospores. A. vegetata is the type species. Reproduction is by dissociation of daughter cells following vegetative cell division, by zoospores, and by aplanospores. The new polytypic genus Heterotetracystis, comprising 3 species, H. akinetos, H. macrogranulosa, and H. intermedia, is characterized by a parietal chloroplast with at least 1 pyrenoid and walled zoospores with flagella of unequal length. Reproduction is by dissociation of daughter cells following vegetative cell division and by zoospores. H. akinetos is designated as the type species.  相似文献

Illus. 1959.—A cordaitean stem tip from the middle Pennsylvania of Kansas is described as a new species, Mesoxylon birame sp. nov. The most distinctive feature of the new species is the presence of paired branches in the axil of each leaf. A study of new Halimeda material available from the International Indian Ocean Expedition, and of type and other specimens not previously available to me, further indicated that Halimeda opuntia is a composite of species rather than a single species. The characteristics of some of its infraspecific taxa differ sufficiently from typical H. opuntia that I have elevated them to species. Extended diagnoses of three, H. hederacea, H. minima, and H. distorta, are given in this paper. Some characteristics new in Halimeda taxonomy are introduced, and distinguishing macroscopic and microscopic characteristics for the new species are discussed. Abstract Five new species of the ant genus Leptogenys Roger are described from Xishuangbanna, Yunnan Province, China, i.e. L. huangdii sp. nov. L. pungui sp. nov. L. zhuangzii sp. nov. L.Zaozii sp. nov. L. mengzii sp. nov. A new record species for China, L. crassicornis Emery, was collected in the same area. A key based on worker caste is prepared for the 13 species known in China. Detailed figures are given for 12 species except L. peuqueti (Andre). The known Chinese species are divided into 4 species groups, i.e. L. crassicornis ‐group, L. chinensis‐ group, L diminuta ‐group, and L zhuangzii‐group.  相似文献

Abstract This paper deals with the genus Mindam Koch from China. The phylogeny of the genus is discussed. M. keteleerifoliae is regarded as the most advanced species, M. obliquus and M. piceasuc-tus are more advanced than M. abietinus, M. japonicus and M. victoria. The origin centre of the genus may be in Europe and the differentiation centre of the genus may be in Hengduan Mountains Region of China. Geological distribution of the genus shows island-shaped pattern. Five species from China was described in this paper, including one new species, M. piceasuctus Zhang and Qiao, one new subspecies, M. abietinus triprimesensori Zhang and Qiao and one newly recorded species, M. abietinus abietinus Koch 1856. A key to the Chinese species of Mindarus is given. The specimens of five species from China are deposited in the Institute of Zoology, Academia Sinica.  相似文献

A new genus of cellular slime molds, Copromyxella, is described together with four species that comprise it. Since it resembles Zopf's Copromyxa more than any genus presently recognized, but differs from it in important characteristics such as the smaller dimensions of its cellular elements and the delicacy of its fructifications, the name Copromyxella is chosen for the new taxon. Four species are included: C. silvatica, C. filamentosa, C. spicata, and C. coralloides. All are characterized by small myxamoebae with lobose and potentially “explosive” pseudopodia and may assume limax forms in liquid media; all possess nuclei with centrally positioned nucleoli; all lack true contractile vacuoles (with a single possible exception); all aggregate without stream formation; and all form fructifications with no demarcation into stalks and sori. Taxonomically the genus belongs in the Acrasidae with Copromyxa, Guttulinopsis and Acrasis rosea rather than in the better known Dictyostelidae that includes Dictyostelium and Polysphondylium.  相似文献

Three new taxa are described: Dolyella hawaiiensis var. clavata var. nov., Cottoniella triseriata sp. nov., and Taenioma dotyi sp. nov. A modified characterization of the genus Cottoniella is given, and certain critical distinctions between the species are presented. Taenioma dotyi is distinctive in the increased width of the determinate branches resulting from division of the flanking cells.  相似文献

Abstract A new genus and two new species of short-horned flies are described: Alleremonomus xingi gen. etsp. nov., Allwemononus liaoningensis gen. etsp. nov. They are assigned to the extinct family Ere-mochaetidae within the suborder Brachycera of Diptera. They were extracted from the Late Jurassic sediments of Beipiao City, Liaoning Province.  相似文献

Abstract Three new species of the family Formicidae were discovered in Xishuangbanna Nature Reserve of Southern Yunnan, China, i.e. Emeryopone melaina sp. nov., Myopias conicara sp. nov. and Myrmoteras cuneonodum sp. nov. Emeryopone Forel and Mymoteras Forel are new record genera in China. Myopias Roger is recorded in mainland of China for the first time.  相似文献
