| Abstract: | Alfaroa mexicana is described as new. Certain aspects of the wood anatomy, inflorescence, pollen, staminate flower, and pistillate flower morphology are compared with previous findings on the three other species of Alfaroa and representatives of the closely related genus Engelhardia. |
