大鲵细菌性败血症病原分离及生物学特性研究   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
利用湖南润孚生物工程公司大鲵人工养殖场10尾具有典型症状的患病大鲵,从体表病灶和体内器官肠、胃、肝、脾、肾等共分离得到9株细菌。通过人工感染试验、细菌形态观察和生理生化实验对其进行鉴定,结果显示引起该养殖场大鲵发病的病原为嗜水气单胞菌。通过回归感染试验发现,其中一菌株对大鲵的致病力很强,死亡率达到100%。药物敏感性试验结果显示,菌株对环丙沙星、头孢曲松、头孢他啶、头孢孟多、头孢哌酮、庆大霉素、头孢西丁药物相对比较敏感,而对克林霉素、头孢唑林、甲硝唑和复方新诺明具有耐药性。  相似文献

【目的】2013年5月广东番禺某养殖场罗非鱼出现大量死亡现象,临床症状表现为鱼体体色发黑、体表出血、鳞片脱落、鳍条溃烂等,解剖发现腹腔有大量腹水、胆囊肿大、肝呈黄色、脾脏呈暗红色。为确定病原,【方法】从具以上临床症状的病鱼组织中分离获得可疑菌株1株,编号PYS1。采用形态特征、生长特性、理化特征、16S rRNA基因序列分析等理化及分子生物学技术鉴定该菌株种类。通过人工回归感染及组织病理学研究确定该菌株的致病性,并开展药物敏感性试验筛选其敏感药物。【结果】结果表明PYS1菌株为类志贺邻单胞菌(Plesiomonas shigelloides),在16S rRNA基因序列构建的分子进化树中与其他鱼源类志贺邻单胞菌聚为一支。药敏试验结果表明该菌株已呈现多重耐药性,仅对少数检测抗生素(头孢曲松、头孢洛克和头孢唑啉等)敏感。人工回归感染结果显示PYS1菌株可使尼罗罗非鱼出现与自然发病鱼相似症状,其对尼罗罗非鱼半致死量为1.425×108CFU/尾,石蜡切片显示其对感染鱼的肠、肝、脾、肾和心脏等组织均可造成损伤。【结论】证明类志贺邻单胞菌为上述养殖场尼罗罗非鱼发病的病原,且为首次报道该菌对尼罗罗非鱼的致病性。  相似文献

已有20余种病原性细菌完成了全基因测序.目前正在进行大量的功能基因组研究.已发现结核分枝杆菌(结核杆菌)持续感染的相关基因.通过对幽门螺杆菌菌株间基因组的比较,提出菌株基因表达的不同可影响菌株的致病作用.此外,还发现了新的奈氏脑膜炎球菌候选疫苗株和抗原.对细菌耐药性机制的了解也有所进展.希望我国医学微生氏物学工作者重视这一迅速发展的领域.  相似文献

气球菌属(Aerococcus)为草绿色溶血菌落特征、触酶阴性的革兰阳性球菌。目前气球菌属包括8个菌种,其中与人类感染密切相关的包括脲气球菌(Aerococcus urinae)、血气球菌(Aerococcus sarguinicola)、绿色气球菌(Aerococcus viridans)等,可造成临床尿路感染、血流感染、心内膜炎、骨与关节感染等。由于目前应用的生化鉴定及质谱鉴定系统数据库的缺陷,尚无法实现菌种间准确鉴定与鉴别,而分子鉴定技术尤其是全基因组测序技术的应用可实现准确鉴定。药敏监测数据显示该菌属一般对内酰胺类药物敏感,推荐临床经验性使用。通过对菌株毒力基因及同源性分析,可有效识别致病菌株及是否发生克隆播散。从气球菌属各菌种的建立、生化鉴别要点、分子鉴定技术应用、临床感染类型、药敏监测数据等方面进行全面阐述,以期为临床诊断及治疗提供参考。  相似文献

【背景】舒伯特气单胞菌(Aeromonas schubertii)广泛分布于淡、海水水体和底泥中,致病株已在我国养殖鳢科鱼类中流行,也感染其他经济鱼类,导致暴发性死亡。【目的】对病鳜(Siniperca chuatsi)的病原进行鉴定,确定分离菌的致病性及药物敏感性,为该病临床治疗提供参考。【方法】采集病鳜脾肾组织进行PCR或RT-PCR扩增其常见病毒,采集病鳜肝脏和腹水分离培养细菌,PCR扩增代表菌株的gyrB、16S rRNA和毒力基因,鉴定其生理生化特征,并进行药物敏感性试验和人工感染试验。【结果】病鳜的传染性脾肾坏死病毒、鳜蛙病毒、鳜弹状病毒检测结果为阴性,肝脏和腹水均存在大量细菌;代表菌株Gui210820被鉴定为舒伯特气单胞菌,携带溶血素、气溶素、弹性蛋白酶和磷脂酶毒力基因,腹腔注射感染鳜的半数致死浓度(LD50)为3.16×105 CFU/mL;菌株Gui210820对四环素、卡那霉素、复方新诺明等6种抗菌药物耐药,对强力霉素中介,对恩诺沙星、新霉素、氟苯尼考等11种抗菌药物敏感。【结论】本试验从病鳜组织分离到致病性舒伯特气单胞菌,水产准许用药物恩诺沙星、新霉素、氟苯尼考...  相似文献

Seedling establishment is central to population maintenance for nonclonal plant species. Plants with low recruitment rates are expected to have high survival rates, and life history theory indicates there should be a single curve for the trade-off between recruitment and mortality that applies to most or all plant species. Alpine perennials are thought to have extraordinarily low recruitment rates because of the harsh environment, but the importance of recruitment in the life history of these plants is unknown. Two alpine cushion plant species, Minuartia obtusiloba and Paronychia pulvinata, were used to (1) determine the role of recruitment in population maintenance and (2) determine whether the fecundity/mortality trade-off for these alpine plants falls on or off of the curve for other perennial plant species. Using size-based population projection matrices, we determined that the life history of Minuartia and Paronychia emphasizes recruitment less than that of any other nonclonal species in a literature survey. Estimated maximum life spans of these two species are 200 and 324 yr, respectively, and a regression with other perennial species from the literature indicated that the relationship between fecundity and mortality in these alpine species is consistent with the predicted trade-off curve for perennial species from other environments.  相似文献

Sexual dimorphism in body length and proportion of overlap between the ranges of body length for males and females were estimated for 361 species of parasitoid wasps from 21 families. In most species, females are generally larger than males, though the range of male and female sizes overlap. Species in the family Ichneumonidae differ significantly from species in other families in three ways: (1) ichneumonids on average are larger, (2) in most species, females are generally smaller than males, and (3) on average, proportion overlap between the ranges of body length for males and females is greater. At present, there is a paucity of life history data on parasitoid wasp species for which size dimorphism is known. Thus it is not clear why ichneumonids differ from species in other families. Possible evolutionary explanations for variation in dimorphism among parasitoid wasp species are discussed.  相似文献

Summary Eupomacentrus apicalis, Plectroglyphidodon lacrymatus, and Pomacentrus wardi are territorial pomacentrid fishes which occupy contiguous individual territories within rubble patches on the shallow reef slope. Loss of residents, which is non-seasonal (except for juvenile Po. wardi), results in reallocation of space in rubble patches among the species. This reallocation is random in the sense that sites previously held by one species will not be more likely than any other sites to be reoccupied by that species or to be occupied by any other particular species. The results of a 38 month study of three neighbouring patches are used to determine patterns of recruitment, survivorship, and loss for each species. The rate of recruitment of fish is proportional to the area of the rubble patch, and is seasonal in at least one of the species. About half the recruits are juveniles and young adults from other sites. The others are newly settled from the plankton. Total space used in a rubble patch does not vary significantly during the 38 month period. Po. wardi recruits and is lost at higher rates than the other species and its survivorship is significantly lower. Juvenile Po. wardi are lost at a greater rate than are adults, and their loss rate varies seasonally. The other species are similar to one another in having low recruitment and loss rates, and correspondingly high survivorship. The data are used in a critical assessment of several competing hypotheses to explain the coexistence of these fish. The available data are most closely compatible with the chance allocation or lottery hypothesis, but a definitive conclusion is not possible, and is probably beyond current experimental techniques.  相似文献

Abstract The campoplegine genus Benjuminia is herein revised, with ten species being described as new, in addition to the five previously known species. Phylogenetic relationships of Benjuminia to other genera are discussed, and a cladogram presented for the species. Two monophyletic species groups are recognized, one being confined to the Palearctic and the other to the Nearctic. Examination of larval morphology not only fails to reveal larval characters for distinguishing Benjuminia but leads to the conclusion that use of larval morphology to identify campoplegine species is a dubious practice.  相似文献

AimIndicators are an important tool by which conservationists monitor biodiversity because resources and expertise needed to survey biodiversity in a more direct way are often lacking. We aim to examine the effectiveness of species richness in birds as an indicator of species richness in other taxa. Birds are perhaps the most widely monitored species group so it is important to understand whether they can act as surrogates for distribution and abundance of other taxa.MethodsWe use a meta-analytical approach to assess the effectiveness of birds as indicators of cross-taxonomic species richness on spatial data from terrestrial temperate studies.ResultsThe literature showed mixed results but, in general, species richness in birds only weakly reflected species richness in other taxa. On average 19% of the variation in total species richness in other taxa was explained by species richness in birds. This is marginally higher than results found in a previous meta-analysis of species richness correlations between all taxa. Birds were more effective at reflecting cross-taxa species richness in study areas that were dominated by agricultural mosaics or mixtures of habitat types; they were less effective in forests and grassland environments. Overall, birds were better at reflecting species richness in mammals than other taxa, and relationships were more effective at larger spatial scales.Main conclusionsSpecies richness in birds only weakly reflected that of other taxa. Birds might be most useful as indicators of spatial variation in wider biodiversity in relatively patchy environments and for taxa that have similar spatial requirements. Species richness is one of many potential metrics for measuring biodiversity. There is a need to assess whether temporal change in bird populations and assemblages, as opposed to spatial variation, reflects change in other taxa and to identify elements of biodiversity for which birds could be the most effective surrogates.  相似文献

Changes of bacterial profiles in microbial communities are strongly associated with human health. There is an increasing need for multiple species research in vitro. To avoid high cost or measurement of a limited number of species, PCR-based multiple species cell counting (PCR-MSCC) has been conceived. Species-specific sequence is defined as a unique sequence of one species in a multiple species mixed culture. This sequence is identified by comparing a random 1000 bp genomic sequence of one species with the whole genome sequences of the other species in the same artificial mixed culture. If absent in the other genomes, it is the species-specific sequence. Species-specific primers were designed based on the species-specific sequences. In the present study, ten different oral bacterial species were mixed and grown in Brain Heart Infusion Yeast Extract with 1% sucrose for 24 hours. Biofilm was harvested and processed for DNA extraction and q-PCR amplification with the species-specific primers. By comparing the q-PCR data of each species in the unknown culture with reference cultures, in which the cell number of each species was determined by colony forming units on agar plate, the cell number of that strain in the unknown mixed culture was calculated. This technique is reliable to count microorganism numbers that are less than 100,000 fold different from other species within the same culture. Theoretically, it can be used in detecting a species in a mixed culture of over 200 species. Currently PCR-MSCC is one of the most economic methods for quantifying single species cell numbers, especially for the low abundant species, in a multiple artificial mixed culture in vitro.  相似文献

In bumblebees, the male secretion of the cephalic labial gland is species-specific. It is highly involved in the nuptial behavior, acting as a sexual attracting pheromone. Therefore, it is also used to accurately identify the species. In contrast to this common scheme, the secretions of Bombus mesomelas are found to be strongly reduced and do not include the most volatile compounds that are present in the secretions of all the other studied bumblebee species. These secretions correspond to cuticular hydrocarbons that can be found in all bumblebee species. This was also the case for another bumblebee species from the same Rhodobombus subgenus: Bombus pomorum. This atypical composition of the male cephalic labial gland secretions seems to indicate that, at least for these two species of Rhodobombus, these secretions are not used to attract virgin females from a long distance, as it is the case for all the other bumblebee species studied.  相似文献

One hypothesis for the latitudinal gradient in species richness observed in most animal taxa is that the richness of a region is determined by its geographic area. However, the relationship between geographic area and species richness across regions is generally weak. It has been suggested that this is because species from the tropics spill out of this region of high richness, artificially inflating the richness of other regions. This generates the interesting prediction that the area and richness of extra-tropical regions should be more strongly correlated if tropical species are excluded. We test this prediction using the avifauna of the New World. We find that there is indeed a relationship between the land area and species richness of a region once tropical species are excluded. This relationship is independent of the latitude and productivity of regions. Both latitude and productivity can explain variance in richness unexplained by land area. There is no relationship between land area and species richness if tropical species are not excluded from the analysis, suggesting that tropical species do indeed mask the relationship between richness and area. We conclude that our results generally support the geographic area hypothesis, although tests of its other predictions and on other land masses are required.  相似文献

In both single- and mixed-species social groups, certain participants are known to play important roles in providing benefits. Identifying these participants is critical for understanding group dynamics, but is often difficult with large roving social groups in the wild. Here, we develop a new approach to characterize roles in social groups and apply it to mixed-species bird flocks (flocks hereafter) in an Indian tropical evergreen forest. Two types of species, namely intraspecifically gregarious and sallying species, are thought to play important roles in flocks because studies have shown they attract other flock participants. However, it is unclear why these types are attractive and whether they are essential for flock formation. We address these questions by focusing on the composition of the subset of flocks containing only two species each. In two-species flocks, it is reasonable to assume that at least one species obtains some kind of benefit. Therefore, only those species combinations that result in benefit to at least one species should occur as two-species flocks. Using data from 540 flocks overall, of which 158 were two-species flocks, we find that intraspecifically gregarious species are disproportionately represented in two-species flocks and always lead flocks when present, and that flocks containing them are joined significantly more by other species. Our results suggest that intraspecifically gregarious species are likely to be the primary benefit providers in flocks and are important for tropical flock formation. Our study also provides a new approach to understanding importance in other mixed-species and single-species social groups.  相似文献

Viable populations of species occur in a given place if three conditions are met: the environment at the place is suitable; the species is able to colonize it; co‐occurrence is possible despite or because of interactions with other species. Studies investigating the effects of climate change on species have mainly focused on measuring changes in climate suitability. Complex interactions among species have rarely been explored in such studies. We extend network theory to the analysis of complex patterns of co‐occurrence among species. The framework is used to explore the robustness of networks under climate change. With our data, we show that networks describing the geographic pattern of co‐occurrence among species display properties shared by other complex networks, namely that most species are poorly connected to other species in the network and only a few are highly connected. In our example, species more exposed to climate change tended to be poorly connected to other species within the network, while species more connected tended to be less exposed. Such high connectance would make the co‐occurrence networks more robust to climate change. The proposed framework illustrates how network analysis could be used, together with co‐occurrence data, to help addressing the potential consequences of species interactions in studies of climate change and biodiversity. However, more research is needed to test for links between co‐occurrence and network interactions.  相似文献
