Preparations, XPS and electronic spectroscopy, and magnetism of seven new one-dimensional cyano-bridged coordination polymers, chiral [Cu(RR-chxn)2][Pd(CN)4] · 2H2O (1), [Cu(trans-chxn)2][M(CN)4] · 2H2O (2, 4, and 6 for M = Pd, Ni, and Pt), and [Cu(cis-chxn)2][M(CN)4] · 2H2O (3, 5, and 7 for M = Pd, Ni, and Pt) (RR-chxn = cyclohexane-(1R,2R)-diamine, trans-chxn = racemic trans-cyclohexane-(1,2)-diamine, and cis-chxn = racemic cis-cyclohexane-(1,2)-diamine) have been reported in view of tuning of their electronic properties by stereochemistry of chxn ligands and metal-substitution. Comparison of Cu 2p1/2 and 2p3/2 peaks of XPS and broad d-d bands around 18 000 cm−1 of electronic spectra are described systematically for 1-7. Variable-temperature magnetic measurement shows that complexes 1-7 indicate weak antiferromagnetic interactions via cyano-bridges. Because of semi-coordination coupled with pseudo Jahn-Teller elongation and electrostatic interaction for 1, the axial Cu-N coordination bond distances of 2.330(7) and 3.092(8) Å are considerably longer than those of equatorial ones in the range from 2.016(6) to 2.030(6) Å. The former bond distances of 1 are intermediate values among the related Ni (2.324(6) and 3.120(8) Å) and Pt (2.34(1) and 3.09(1) Å) complexes.  相似文献

Previous studies revealed that Mn(II) is accumulated in cultured glial cells to concentrations far above those present in whole brain or in culture medium. The data indicated that Mn(II) moves across the plasma membrane into the cytoplasm by facilitated diffusion or counter-ion transport with Ca(II), then into mitochondria by active transport. The fact that 1–10 M Mn(II) ions activate brain glutamine synthetase makes important the regulation of Mn(II) transport in the CNS. Since Cu(II) and Zn(II) caused significant changes in the accumulation of Mn(II) by glia, the mechanisms by which these ions alter the uptake and efflux of Mn(II) ions has been investigated systematically under chemically defined conditions. The kinetics of [54MN]-Mn(II) uptake and efflux were determined and compared under four different sets of conditions: no adducts, Cu(II) or Zn(II) added externally, and with cells preloaded with Cu(II) or Zn(II) in the presence and absence of external added metal ions. Zn(II) ions inhibit the initial velocity of Mn(II) uptake, increase total Mn(II) accumulated, but do not alter the rate or extent Mn(II) efflux. Cu(II) ions increase both the initial velocity and the net Mn(II) accumulated by glia, with little effect on rate or extent of Mn(II) efflux. These results predict that increases in Cu(II) or Zn(II) levels may also increase the steady-state levels of Mn(II) in the cytoplasmic fraction of glial cells, which may in turn alter the activity of Mn(II)-sensitive enzymes in this cell compartment.  相似文献

Synthesis, crystal structures, and spectroscopic and magnetic properties of new one-dimensional cyano-bridged bimetallic complexes, [CuII(N-Eten)2][MII(CN)4] (N-Eten = N-ethylethylenediamine; MII = NiII (1) and PtII (2)), have been reported. Both complexes consist of one-dimensional alternate chains of CuII and MII moieties. The Pt-C bond distances of 1.997(3) and 2.001(3) Å for 2 are considerably longer than the Ni-C bond lengths of 1.866(3) and 1.872(3) Å for 1. Because of pseudo Jahn-Teller distortion, the axial Cu-N bond distances of 2.554(2) and 2.550(3) Å for 1 and 2 are longer than those of equatorial ones of 2.008(2) and 2.056(2) Å for 1 and 2.010(2) and 2.054(2) Å for 2. In contrast to MII-C bond distances, the Cu-N ones of 1 are similar to those of 2 regardless of element-substitution. These complexes indicate weak antiferromagnetic interactions with Weiss constants = − 4.68 and −3.95 K for 1 and 2, respectively. The emission spectrum of 2 (λex = 360 nm) exhibits a broad band with peaks at 22 800 and 24 000 cm−1 at 298 K. The Cu 2p1/2 and 2p3/2 peaks of XPS spectra are compared systematically to various copper(II) complexes showing different bridging features or distorted coordination geometries as models for excited structures induced by external physical conditions. The spectroscopic properties are discussed from the viewpoint of magneto-optical properties.  相似文献

Metal complexes of d-glucose (d-Glc) from large cation containing dibromo-dichloro salts of dipositive metals [NEt4]2[MBr2Cl2] (M = Mn, Co, Ni, Cu and Zn) and the disodium salt of glucose were synthesized from a MeOH:MeCN mixture. The complexes were characterized by UV-vis absorption, circular dichroism, IR and proton magnetic resonance spectroscopies, and by elemental analysis, and were found to be Na[M(d-Glc)(OMe)Cl]. Cyclic voltammetric studies of these complexes, in the acidic to neutral pH range, indicated no dissociation, even in highly acidic conditions.This paper is dedicated to Professor Richard H. Interaction of cis-dichloro(dipyridine)platinum(II) (cis-PPC) with calf thymus DNA, calf thymus histone, l-amino acids, poly-l-amino acids, nucleosides, and nucleotides has been evaluated by equilibrium dialysis technics. At least a 28 % decrease in the association of cis-PPC with DNA occurs when the platinum compound is pre-incubated with l-amino acids. The greatest decrease in association is seen upon pre-incubation of the platinum compound with the free amino acids. Glut, Asp, Lys, Arg, and CySH, before the addition of a sack containing a solution of DNA. The low level of association between DNA and the amino acids tends to rule out competition between cis-PPC and amino acids for DNA association sites. cis-PPC was repelled from sacks containing positively charged poly-l-Lys, poly-l-Arg, and calf thymus histone; however, in the presence of poly-l-Glut and poly-l-Asp, cis-PPC associated with these negatively charged polymers to a considerable degree. Enhanced chloride dissociation from cis-PPC was observed in the presence of all of the amino acids and the nucleotides GMP, CMP, UMP, and TMP, but not in the presence of AMP or the nucleosides rG and dG. In the presence of calf thymus histone, the association of cis-PPC with calf thymus DNA was reduced by more than 50% at histone/DNA ratios of 0.8–1.0.These data suggest that cis-PPC or cis-Pt(II) may associate with electron-rich areas of not only nucleic acids and proteins but also with body pools of free nucleotides and amino acids. The presence of positively charged histones shielding DNA strands in vivo suggests that the most probable point of platinum-DNA association would be at de-repressed areas of DNA which are undergoing RNA synthesis. The aquated form of the platinum complex may also associate with acidic proteins which appear to be involved in the positive control of RNA synthesis and, as a result, this interaction may be of pharmacological significance.  相似文献

Antitumor effects of a known bis(imino-quinolyl)palladium(II) complex 1 and its newly synthesized platinum(II) analogue 2 were evaluated against human breast (MCF-7) and human colon (HT-29) cancer cell lines. The complexes gave cytotoxicity profiles that were better than the reference drug cisplatin. The highest cytotoxic activities were pronounced in complex 2 across the two examined cancer cell lines. Both compounds represent potential active drugs based on bimetallic complexes.  相似文献

Two unique bimetalic Pt(II) coordination polymers of composition [Ni(hydeten)2Pt(CN)4] (Ni-Pt) and [Cu(hydeten)2Pt(CN)4] (Cu-Pt) [hydeten = N-(2-hydroxyethyl-ethylenediamine) or 2-(2-aminoethylamino)ethanol] have been synthesized and structurally characterized by various methods in this study. The crystal structure of Cu-Pt was determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. The structure of Cu-Pt forms of infinite 2,2-TT type [-Cu(hydeten)2-NC-Pt(CN)2-CN-] chains containing paramagnetic copper atoms bridged by tetracyanoplatinate species. In this complex, Cu(II) centers display an axially elongated octahedron with two chelating hydeten molecules in the equatorial positions and N-bonded bridging cyano groups in the axial positions, whereas Pt(II) centers are four coordinate with four cyanide-carbon atoms in a square-planar arrangement. The decrease of the moments of these complexes in temperature range of 50 305 K can assigned to the antiferromagnetic interactions in the structures. The thermal decomposition of Cu-Pt comprise of five distinguished stages, while the thermal decomposition of Ni-Pt take place four different stages.  相似文献

Three new chiral ligands bearing an O,O′,N donor set (OmethoxyOhydroxyNpyridine) were synthesised and coordinated to FeIII, FeII, NiII, CuII and ZnII to yield complexes with the general formula [M(OON)Clx]y. While the pyridine N and the hydroxy O atoms coordinate strongly to all applied metal ions, the methoxy donor seems not to be involved in coordination, although some evidence for a weak interaction between OMe and the ZnII were found in NMR spectra. In the bidentate O′,N coordination mode the new ligands exhibit several coordination geometries as analysed in the solid compounds by XRD, EXAFS and EPR and in solution by UV-Vis absorption, cyclic voltammetry, EXAFS, EPR or NMR spectroscopy.  相似文献

The variations in the coordination environment of Co(II), Cu(II) and Zn(II) complexes with the neutral, tridentate ligand bis[1-(cyclohexylimino)ethyl]pyridine (BCIP) are reported. Analogous syntheses were carried out utilizing either the M(BF4)2 · xH2O or MCl2 · xH2O metal salts (where M = Co(II), Cu(II) or Zn(II)) with one equivalent of BCIP. When the hydrated metal starting material was used, cationic, octahedral complexes of the type [M(BCIP)2]2+ were isolated as the tetrafluoroborate salt (4, 5). Conversely, when the hydrated chloride metal salt was used as the starting material, only neutral, pentacoordinate [M(BCIP)Cl2] complexes (1-3) formed. All complexes were characterized by X-ray diffraction studies. The three complexes that are five coordinate have distortions due mainly to the pyridine di-imine bite angle. The [Cu(BCIP)Cl2] (2) also exhibits deviations in the Cu(II)-Cl bond distances with values of 2.4242(9) and 2.2505(9) Å, which are not seen in the analogous Zn(II) and Co(II) structures. Similarly, the two six coordinate complexes (5, 6) are also altered by the ligand frame bite angle giving rise to distorted octahedral geometries in each complex. The [Cu(BCIP)2](BF4)2 (6) also exhibits Cu(II)-Nimine bond lengths that are on average 0.14 Å longer than those found in the analogous 5 coordinate complex, [Cu(BCIP)Cl2]. In addition to X-ray analysis, all complexes were also characterized by UV/Vis and IR spectroscopy with 1H NMR spectroscopy being used for the analysis of the Zn(II) analogue (3).  相似文献

Unlike other chlorometallate complexes that catalyze the photodecomposition of haloalkanes through photodissociation of a chlorine atom, both and catalyze chloroform decomposition through a process that appears to involve C-H bond breakage from an excited state association complex with chloroform. This would account for the greatly retarded rate of decomposition in CDCl3 and for the generation of CCl4 as a side product. In chloroform, and are in slow equilibrium with each other. The rate for the conversion of - in chloroform at 23 °C obeys the expression (0.03 M−1 s−1) [][Cl]. The equilibrium constant, K = [][Cl]2/[]2, was estimated to be 3 × 10−3 M in CHCl3.  相似文献

[Pd(sac)(terpy)](sac)·4H2O (1), [Pt(sac)(terpy)](sac)·5H2O (2), [PdCl(terpy)](sac)·2H2O (3) and [PtCl(terpy)](sac)·2H2O (4) (sac = saccharinate, and terpy = 2,2′:6′,2″-terpyridine) have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, FT-IR, 1H NMR and 13C NMR. In 1 and 2, a tridentate terpy ligand together with an N-coordinated sac ligand form the square-planar geometry around the palladium(II) or platinum(II) ions, while one sac anion remains outside the coordination sphere as a counter-ion. X-ray single crystal studies show that the [M(sac)(terpy)]+ ions in 1 and 2 reside in the centers of a hydrogen bonded honeycomb network formed by the uncoordinated sac ions and the lattice water molecules. Complexes 3 and 4 are isostructural and consist of a [M(Cl)(terpy)]+ cation, a sac anion and two lattice water molecules. The [M(Cl)(terpy)]+ ions interact with each other via M-M and π-π stacking interactions and these π interacted units are assembled to a 2D network by water bridges involving the sac ions and lattice water molecules. Convenient synthetic paths for 1-4 are also presented, and spectral, luminescence and thermal properties were discussed.  相似文献

Asymmetric trigonal-bipyramidal Zn(II) complex 1 formed by 2-[bis(2-aminoethyl)amino]ethanol (L) was found to be able to promote the cleavage of supercoiled plasmid DNA pBR322 to the nicked and linear DNA via a hydrolytic manner but only in neutral Tris-HCl buffer, no cleavage was observed in HEPES or NaH2PO4/Na2HPO4 buffer. However, the copper complex 2 of L, possessing the similar coordination geometry, can only promote DNA cleavage via an oxidative mechanism in the presence of ascorbic acid. ESI-MS study implies that complex 1 exist mainly as [Zn(L)]2+/[Zn(L-H)]+ in neutral Tris-HCl buffer. Moreover, there is no discriminable species for complex 1 in HEPES or NaH2PO4/Na2HPO4 buffer. A phosphate activation mechanism via phosphate coordinating to Zn(II) center of [Zn(L)]2+/[Zn(L-H)]+ to form the stable trigonal-bipyramidal structure is proposed for the hydrolytic cleavage promote by complex 1. For complex 2, the abundance of [Cu(L)Cl]+ is higher than that of [Cu(L)]2+/[Cu(L-H)]+ in Tris-HCl buffer. The lower phosphate binding/activating ability of Cu(II) in complex 2 may be the origin for its incapability to promote the hydrolytic DNA cleavage. However, the readily accessible redox potential of Cu(II) makes complex 2 promote the oxidative DNA cleavage. Although the DNA cleavage promoted by complex 1 has no specificity, trigonal-bipyramidal Zn(II) complexes formed by asymmetric tripodal polyamine with ethoxyl pendent should be a novel potential model for practical artificial nuclease.  相似文献

The effect of copper(II), lead(II) and chromium(VI) ions on the growth and bioaccumulation properties of Aspergillus niger was investigated as a function of initial pH and initial metal ion concentration. The optimum pH values for growth and metal ion accumulation were determined as 5.0, 4.5 and 3.5 for copper(II), lead(II) and chromium(VI) ions, respectively. Although all metal ion concentrations caused an inhibition effect on the growth of A. niger, it was capable of removing of copper(II) and lead(II) with a maximum specific uptake capacity of 15.6 and 34.4 mg g−1 at 100 mg dm−3 initial copper(II) and lead(II) concentration, respectively. Growth of A. niger was highly effected by chromium(VI) ions and inhibited by 75 mg dm−3 initial chromium(VI) concentration since some inhibition occurred at lower concentrations.  相似文献

A series of nickel(II) and cobalt(II) complexes, NiX2L (X = Cl, Br; 1-6) and CoCl2L (7-9), with 2,9-diaryl-1,10-phenanthroline ligands (L1-L3) have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, UV-Vis, IR spectroscopy, and X-ray crystal structural study (for 1, 4-7, 9). The solid-state structures of 1, 5-7 and 9 show four-coordinate, slightly flattened tetrahedral geometry at the Ni(II) or Co(II) center, while 4 is five-coordinated (square-pyramidal), containing a THF molecule as an auxiliary ligand. The title complexes (1-9) display good catalytic activities in ethylene oligomerization when activated with methylaluminoxane (MAO). While the Co(II) precatalysts produce primarily C4 isomers, the Ni(II) complexes give ethylene dimers and trimers at normal pressure. The activities and yields of linear α-olefins increase with increasing ethylene pressure for the Ni(II) complexes, leading to more high-molar-mass products (C8-C18). Complex 6 displays the best catalytic activity among the complexes studied (up to 1518 kg/mol[Ni] h at 10 atm).  相似文献

Three new coordination polymers {[Cu(HL)(H2O)]·H2O}n (1), [Ag(H2L)]n (2), and {[Co(HL)(phen)(H2O)]·8H2O}n (3) [H3L = 5-(1H-imidazol-4-ylmethyl)aminoisophthalic acid, phen = 1,10-phenanthroline] have been synthesized under hydrothermal conditions. The results of X-ray diffraction analysis revealed that complex 1 displays (3, 3)-connected 2D network with (4, 82) topology, while complexes 2 and 3 have infinite 1D chain structure, in which one of the two carboxylic groups of H2L/HL2− is uncoordinated. The 2D layers of 1 or the 1D chains of 2 and 3 are further linked together by hydrogen bonds and π-π interactions to form 3D supramolecular frameworks. Moreover, the electrochemical properties of complexes 1 and 2 have been studied by modified glassy carbon electrodes of 1 (Cu-GCE) and 2 (Ag-GCE), and the results indicate that the Cu-GCE and Ag-GCE show one-electron redox peaks. In addition, both Cu-GCE and Ag-GCE have good electrocatalytic activities toward the reduction of H2O2 in phosphate buffer (pH 5.5) solution.  相似文献

A new easily synthetic route with a 96% yield of ligand 2-(3,5-diphenyl-1H-pyrazol-1-yl)ethanol (L) is obtained. The reactivity of L against Pd(II), Zn(II) and Cu(II) leads to [PdCl2(L)2] (1), [ZnCl2(L)] (2) and [CuCl(L′)]2 (3) (L′ is the ligand L without alcoholic proton), respectively. According to the different geometries imposed by the metallic centre and the capability of L to present various coordination links, it has been obtained complexes with square planar (1 and 3) or tetrahedral (2) geometry and different nuclearity: monomeric (1 and 2) or dimeric (3). Complete characterisation by analytical and spectroscopic methods, resolution of L and 1-3 by single-crystal X-ray diffraction and magnetic studies for complex 3 are presented.  相似文献

Four new coordination complexes, NiII(L)2 (1), [CoIII(L)2]ClO4 (2), [Zn(HL)(L)]ClO4 · H2O (3) and [Zn(L)2][Zn(L)(HL)]ClO4 · 7H2O (4) (where L is a monoanion of a Schiff base ligand, N′-[(2-pyridyl)methylene]salicyloylhydrazone (HL) with NNO tridentate donor set), have been synthesised and systematically characterised by elemental analysis, spectroscopic studies and room temperature magnetic susceptibility measurements. Single crystal X-ray diffraction analysis reveals that 1 is a neutral complex, while 2-4 are cationic complexes. Among them, 4 is a rare type of cationic complex with two molecules in the asymmetric unit. The ligand chelates the metal centre with two nitrogen atoms from the pyridine and imino moieties and one oxygen atom coming from its enolic counterpart. All the reported complexes show distorted octahedral geometry around the metal centres, with the two metal-N (imino) bonds being significantly shorter than the two metal-N (Py) bonds.  相似文献

The present study deals with the sorption of Cd(II) and Pb(II) by exopolymeric substances (EPS) extracted from activated sludges or pure bacterial strains. The percentage of sorbed metal increases with the concentration of the EPS–water solution. Pb(II) always presents a higher affinity than Cd(II) for EPS. For the EPS extracted from pure bacterial strains, only one global binding constant from a simple equilibrium sorption model, may be used to assess the effect of microbial products such as EPS on Cd(II) and Pb(II) speciation or mobility in the environment. However, for EPS extracted from activated sludges, the wide variation of the global binding constants determined for Cd(II) and Pb(II) do not permit such a simple approach. The differences in sorption to metals between the two types of EPS (bacterial, activated sludges) could be explained by the differences in EPS composition: organic macromolecules, as well as the nature of the mineral fraction.  相似文献

耐性真菌HA吸附铅、锌的影响因素及吸附机理研   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
【目的】从铅锌矿区分离筛选出耐铅锌性菌株,并研究其吸附铅、锌的影响因素及吸附机理,为重金属污染微生物修复提供参考。【方法】以从铅锌矿区筛选出的耐铅锌真菌HA作为试验菌株,考察影响其对铅、锌去除能力的主要因素(初始浓度、pH、接种量),同时通过等温吸附模型、动力学分析及红外光谱分析探讨其相关的吸附机理。【结果】经鉴定,从矿区筛选的对Pb2+、Zn2+有较强耐性的菌株HA为米曲霉(Aspergillus oryzae);在初始铅、锌浓度的实验范围内(100-800mg/L),HA对铅、锌离子的去除率随着其初始浓度增加而减小,25h后HA的生长进入平稳期,且对铅、锌离子的去除率趋于稳定。当铅、锌初始浓度为100mg/L、pH为5.0时,HA对铅、锌离子的去除率均达到最高,分别为97.8%、54.1%;当HA接种量为1mL时,其对铅、锌去除率的增长率达到最大。HA对铅、锌的吸附过程满足Langmuir吸附模型,其吸附以单层吸附为主。在动态吸附过程中,HA对Pb2+、Zn2+离子吸附性能与准二级动力学吸附方程的拟合程度更高,且对Pb2+的吸附效果明显高于Zn2+。红外光谱分析表明,HA细胞中羟基、烷基、酰胺基、羰基、磷酸基等参与了Pb2+、Zn2+的吸附过程。【结论】HA是一株对铅、锌有较强吸附能力的真菌,其吸附铅、锌影响因素及吸附机理研究结果将为重金属污染微生物修复提供指导。  相似文献
