翅脉的数学形态特征在蝴蝶分类鉴定中的应用研究   总被引:7,自引:0,他引:7  
能否量化地利用翅脉特征对鳞翅目昆虫进行种类鉴定,这是近年发展起来的数字化昆虫分类鉴定研究中具有创新性的课题。本文使用化学方法去除蝴蝶翅面的鳞片和色斑,通过扫描获取到蝴蝶翅脉图片,利用DrawWing软件对7种蝴蝶前翅内部翅脉交点坐标进行了自动获取。通过计算相邻两点间的距离,利用单变量方差分析和典则判别分析,证明粉蝶科4个属的蝴蝶每个参数对结果都有影响,而绢蝶属3种蝴蝶翅脉交点2~3、7~8和9~1间的距离对其本身的判别无影响。通过分层聚类分析,绢蝶属的3种蝴蝶被聚为一类,在传统昆虫分类学中,它们的关系也最近。此外,通过与半自动提取软件TPSDig提取的数据进行比较,从另一个侧面证明了通过比较翅脉交点间的距离对蝴蝶进行分类鉴定研究具有参考意义。  相似文献

昆虫翅的形态特征是某些类群昆虫分类中的重要依据,怎样快速科学提取这些数据是昆虫数字鉴定技术中必须解决的重要问题之一。本文介绍了目前国内外这方面的进展,并介绍了DrawWing软件的详细功能。该软件能比较准确方便地提取昆虫翅轮廓和翅脉特征值,因此详细描述了其算法原理。利用该软件的DOS和Windows两种不同版本对意大利蜜蜂和昼鸣蝉的翅进行了其特征提取的实验研究,结果证明该软件可以成功提取蜜蜂翅脉特征值,但对昼鸣蝉翅处理尚存在问题。在此基础上,本文对昆虫翅脉特征自动获取技术乃至昆虫种类的计算机识别方法的进一步发展提出了讨论。  相似文献

【目的】了解小红珠绢蝶Parnassius nomion线粒体基因组的特征,并从线粒体基因组水平探究蝶类高级阶元的系统发育关系。【方法】采用PCR扩增技术及Sequencher 4.8拼接软件获得小红珠绢蝶线粒体基因组全序列。参考鳞翅目昆虫已知线粒体基因组全序列并使用MEGA6.0软件对小红珠绢蝶线粒体基因组中各基因进行定位和注释。采用tRNA Scan-SE 1.21在线预测小红珠绢蝶线粒体基因组tRNA基因的二级结构。基于线粒体基因组13个蛋白质编码基因的核苷酸序列重建了包含凤蝶总科中凤蝶科(Papilionidae)、绢蝶科(Parnassiidae)、粉蝶科(Pieridae)、眼蝶科(Satyridae)、蛱蝶科(Nymphalidae)、灰蝶科(Lycaenidae)、斑蝶科(Danaidae)、珍蝶科(Acraeidae)、喙蝶科(Libyheidae)和蚬蝶科(Riodinidae)10个科28种蝴蝶的系统发育关系。【结果】结果表明,小红珠绢蝶线粒体基因组全序列总长度为15 362 bp(Gen Bank登录号:MF496134),包含13个蛋白质编码基因、22个tRNA基因、2个rRNA基因和1个A+T富含区。小红珠绢蝶线粒体基因组中存在较高的A+T含量(79.6%)。小红珠绢蝶线粒体基因组13个蛋白质编码基因中UUA的相对同义密码子使用频率(RSCU)最高(5.08),而AGG和CCG相对同义密码子使用频率(RSCU)均较低(0),这与大紫蛱蝶Sasakia charonda coreana的分析结果一致。在所测得的22个tRNA基因中,除tRNASer(AGN)缺少DHU臂外,其余tRNA基因均能形成典型的三叶草结构,这与鳞翅目中目前已得到的其他昆虫线粒体基因组中tRNA基因的二级结构一致。系统发育分析结果显示,凤蝶总科内蚬蝶科与灰蝶科的亲缘关系最近;粉蝶科与蛱蝶科、珍蝶科、眼蝶科、斑蝶科、喙蝶科、蚬蝶科和灰蝶科的系统发育关系更近;绢蝶科与凤蝶科锯凤蝶亚科亲缘关系最近,随后二者与凤蝶亚科物种聚为一支。在绢蝶科中,小红珠绢蝶与依帕绢蝶Parnassius epaphus的亲缘关系最近。【结论】本研究支持绢蝶科物种归为绢蝶亚科,绢蝶亚科、锯凤蝶亚科和凤蝶亚科归入凤蝶科,且绢蝶亚科与锯凤蝶亚科为姐妹群。  相似文献

利用多样性指数和种群动态相结合,建立竞争指数对小红珠绢蝶东灵山种群的濒危机制进行分析。结果表明,小红珠绢蝶的竞争指数在不同年份的下降过程中有不同的变化。以此为依据可以准确地判断出对该种群动态影响的环境因子。这一方法有很高的普适性,可应用于昆虫种群的保护生物学研究。  相似文献

比较研究了天牛亚科18族53属115种后翅翅脉.研究结果表明:后翅翅脉反映了一定的进化趋势,依据MP3+4的变化可将天牛亚科分为4种类型和若干过渡类型;天牛亚科后翅翅脉在族级和属级具有明显的分类学意义,并依据所选取的后翅翅脉特征建立了该亚科检索表,在过渡类型中,后翅翅脉还具有种级分类学意义;提出了天牛亚科的后翅翅脉命名图,Kukalová-Peck和Lawrence (2004)的后翅翅脉命名系统在CuAF,r4,AA3+4和肘脉等特征上不适用于天牛亚科.  相似文献

锯凤蝶族Zerynthiini的分类地位一直受到国内外学者的关注.本文对锯凤蝶族Zerynthiini、绢蝶族Parnassiini及凤蝶亚科Papilioninae中相关族的幼虫形态、翅脉、翅面斑纹、鳞片、雌性交配栓、雄性外生殖器、地理分布与历史变迁,进行了比较研究,对这些类群的亲缘关系进行了初步探讨.结果表明:锯凤蝶族可能是由绢蝶亚科某一古老或已灭绝的族中演化而来,应作为绢蝶亚科下的一个族,不应作为亚科对待;锯凤蝶族和绢蝶族同属绢蝶亚科,绢蝶亚科和凤蝶亚科同属凤蝶科.  相似文献

本文以夜蛾昆虫为研究对象,利用蛾右前翅翅脉特征对7种夜蛾昆虫进行数字化分类研究。首先,利用软件tpsDig2提取蛾翅翅室周围翅脉交点作为标记点;再利用普世叠加方法消除非形状因素等信息,计算出每一个翅脉交点与初始交点的距离作为特征参数;最后,利用方差分析和逐步判别分析验证各项特征参数对7种夜蛾进行分类的可行性、有效性和重要性。研究结果表明,筛选出5项特征参数可以作为分类变量,其作用大小依次为:(Dis_(16)、Dis_(17))(Dis_(13)、Dis_(15))Dis_(12),原始判别和交叉判别结果的正确率分别为96.2%和96.2%。这说明蛾翅翅脉的特征参数可用于蛾类昆虫的数字化分类鉴定。  相似文献

[目的]离腹寡毛实蝇属Bactrocera实蝇种类形态相似,较难区分,该属多数物种为具有重要经济意义的检疫性害虫。本研究基于几何形态学方法对我国分布的离腹寡毛实蝇属Zeugodacus亚属3种重要检疫性实蝇进行翅脉形态定量分析,探讨3种实蝇在翅脉形态上的差异变化,为实蝇的检疫鉴定提供新方法。[方法]采用地标点法对3种共180头雄性实蝇标本右翅翅脉标记19个地标点,通过计算质心值(CS)、普氏叠加(Procrustes superposition)、主成分分析(PCA)、多变量方差分析(MANOVA)及薄板样条分析(TPS)比较了3种实蝇翅的大小、讨论了翅脉形态变异的主要部位与变化趋势。[结果]翅脉质心值的单因素方差分析(One-way ANOVA)结果表明:3种实蝇翅形大小差异显著(F=141,df=179,P0.001),具条实蝇Bactrocera(Zeugodacus)scutellata(Hendel)的翅形相对较大,南瓜实蝇B.(Z.)tau(Walker)次之,瓜实蝇B.(Z.)cucurbitae(Coquillellett)翅形相对较小;PCA与MANOVA分析结果表明3种实蝇翅脉形状差异显著,TPS分析结果显示3种实蝇翅脉形状差异发生部位主要为翅端第5径室和翅端第2中室区域。[结论]几何形态学方法可用于实蝇种间的分类,本研究的3种实蝇翅脉形态变异主要发生在翅端第5径室和翅端第2中室区域,或可作为实蝇分类中的一个重要参考依据。  相似文献

选取中国斑芫菁属11个代表种,对比分析了它们的后翅形态特征; 以苹斑芫菁Mylabris calida Pallas, 1782为模式,探讨了斑芫菁属后翅的翅脉名称,并对其性状进行了描述。研究结果将斑芫菁属翅脉归纳为3种类型:1)南方型:东洋种,翅深褐色,各脉粗大,骨化程度高,皱褶多而明显;2)高原型:青藏高原特有种,翅乳白色,半透明,仅前缘和MP1+2形成明显的大翅室,余脉淡而不显,骨化程度低;3)北方型:为以上两种类型的中间过渡,古北种,翅褐色,各脉清晰,中度骨化。根据研究结果,初步探讨了斑芫菁属翅脉的形态进化。  相似文献

在甘肃南部地区的蝶类调查中,共记录到蝴蝶339种,分属于12科,157属,区系组成以广布种为主,占总种数的56.6%;古北种次之,占26.9%;东洋种最少,占16.5%;共采集到绢蝶15种,占分布于中国绢蝶总种数41种的36.6%。样线调查结果显示绢蝶在甘肃南部地区有比较明显的垂直性分布,高山亚冰雪稀疏植被带、亚高山灌丛草甸带、山地森林草原带及山地草原带均有绢蝶分布。各生境中绢蝶多样性与蝶类群落多样性进行比对得出变化趋势不一致,随着海拔升高,绢蝶物种丰富度S及Shannon-Wiener多样性指数呈逐渐上升趋势,而蝶类群落物种丰富度S及Shannon-Wiener多样性指数总体呈下降趋势。绢蝶是高原地区的特有珍稀物种,君主绢蝶(P.imperator)、依帕绢蝶(P.epaphus)、小红珠绢蝶(P.nomion)等3种绢蝶为甘肃南部地区常见种,元首绢蝶(P.cephalus)等8种绢蝶为甘肃南部地区偶见种,数量极少,其种群及生存状态需予以关注。  相似文献

Genetic evidence for interspecific hybridization between Parnassius nomion and Parnassius bremeri in nature is presented. To demonstrate hybridization between these species, RAPD analysis was used. By testing 25 decamer primers, three and two diagnostic markers were revealed for P. nomion and P. bremeri, respectively. Out of 28 animals examined, 4 were shown to be interspecific hybrids. According to the distribution of diagnostic markers, the interspecific hybrids were intermediate with regard to the parental species. Ecological and biological characteristics of two swallowtail species that promote their hybridization in nature are discussed.  相似文献

The Drosophila wing has been used as a model in studies of morphogenesis and evolution; the use of such models can contribute to our understanding of mechanisms that promote morphological divergence among populations and species. We mapped quantitative trait loci (QTL) affecting wing size and shape traits using highly inbred introgression lines between D. simulans and D. sechellia, two sibling species of the melanogaster subgroup. Eighteen QTL peaks that are associated with 12 wing traits were identified, including two principal components. The wings of D. simulans and D. sechellia significantly diverged in size; two of the QTL peaks could account for part of this interspecific divergence. Both of these putative QTLs were mapped at the same cytological regions as other QTLs for intraspecific wing size variation identified in D. melanogaster studies. In these regions, one or more loci could account for intra- and interspecific variation in the size of Drosophila wings. Three other QTL peaks were related to a pattern of interspecific variation in wing size and shape traits that is summarized by one principal component. In addition, we observed that female wings are significantly larger and longer than male wings and the second, fourth and fifth longitudinal veins are closer together at the distal wing area. This pattern was summarized by another principal component, for which one QTL was mapped.  相似文献

Co-option of the eye developmental gene regulatory network may have led to the appearance of novel functional traits on the wings of flies and butterflies. The first trait is a recently described wing organ in a species of extinct midge resembling the outer layers of the midge's own compound eye. The second trait is red pigment patches on Heliconius butterfly wings connected to the expression of an eye selector gene, optix. These examples, as well as others, are discussed regarding the type of empirical evidence and burden of proof that have been used to infer gene network co-option underlying the origin of novel traits. A conceptual framework describing increasing confidence in inference of network co-option is proposed. Novel research directions to facilitate inference of network co-option are also highlighted, especially in cases where the pre-existent and novel traits do not resemble each other.  相似文献

We investigated the effects of developmental and parental temperatures on several physiological and morphological traits of adult Drosophila melanogaster. Flies for the parental generation were raised at either low or moderate temperature (18°C or 25°C) and then mated in the four possible sex-by-parental temperature crosses. Their offspring were raised at either 18°C or 25°C and then scored as adults for morphological (dry body mass, wing size, and abdominal melanization [females only]), physiological (knock-down temperature, and thermal dependence of walking speed), and life history (egg size) traits. The experiment was replicated, and the factorial design allows us to determine whether and how paternal, maternal, and developmental temperatures (as well as offspring sex) influence the various traits. Sex and developmental temperature had major effects on all traits. Females had larger bodies and wings, higher knock-down temperatures, and slower speeds (but similar shaped performance curves) than males. Development at 25°C (versus at 18°C) increased knock-down temperature, increased maximal speed and thermal performance breadth, decreased the optimal temperature for walking, decreased body mass and wing size, reduced abdominal melanization, and reduced egg size. Parental temperatures influenced a few traits, but the effects were generally small relative to those of sex or developmental temperature. Flies whose mother had been raised at 25°C (versus at 18°C) had slightly higher knock-down temperature and smaller body mass. Flies whose father had been raised at 25°C had relatively longer wings. The effects of paternal, maternal, and developmental temperatures sometimes differed in direction. The existence of significant within- and between-generation effects suggests that comparative studies need to standardize thermal environments for at least two generations, that attempts to estimate “field” heritabilities may be unreliable for some traits, and that predictions of short-term evolutionary responses to selection will be difficult.  相似文献

Fungi of the genus Pleurotus, in particular, species Pleurotus ostreatus (common oyster mushroom) are among most cultivated fungi in the world. Due to intense rates of development of studies in this field, efficient breeding programs are highly required in the search for new P. ostreatus strains. The principal traits used worldwide for selecting strains are intensity of fruitbearing, fruit body cap color (for some consumptive markets), and mycelium growth rate. In this connection, the objective of this work was to study these quantitative traits and to find molecular markers, which could be employed to accomplish breeding programs. In general, we found 12 genomic loci (quantitative trait loci, QTLs) controlling mycelium growth rate of oyster and six QTLs responsible for the fruit body cap color. The genetic map of P. ostreatus was constructed, and all markers of quantitative traits found by us were located on this genetic map. The obtained linkage map can be a useful tool for the accomplishment of breeding programs to improve economically important traits of oyster mushroom.  相似文献

Abstract. 1. Reproductive costs associated with flight capability were evaluated in the wing dimorphic planthopper, Prokelisia dolus Wilson, by comparing the life history of traits of winged (macropterous) and flightless (brachypterous) females under controlled laboratory conditions.
2. Macropters with large thoraces and fully developed wings maintain a greater investment in flight apparatus than brachypters with small thoraces and reduced wings.
3. Associated with greater flight capability in the macropter of P.dolus are shorter adult life, decreased total fecundity, and delayed age at first reproduction compared to brachypterous females.
4. Under field conditions where mortality is high, the difference in realized fecundity between the two wing forms living on similar resources is further exaggerated with the brachypter having the greater advantage.
5. When the life history traits of the wing forms of P. dolus are compared with traits for nine other species of planthoppers, two similarities emerge. First, the preoviposition period of the macropterous wing form is always longer than that for the brachypter resulting in a reproductive delay. Second, most studies show that macropters are less fecund than brachypters.
6. There is no general tendency among planthopper species for macropterous adults to live fewer days or develop more slowly as nymphs compared to their flightless counterparts.
7. The reproductive delay and reduced fecundity of the volent wing form of planthoppers supports the notion that flight capability is costly and that phenotypic trade-offs between flight and reproduction exist.  相似文献

Quantitative genetic studies for life history and behavioral traits are important in quality control for insect mass-rearing programs. Firstly, a brief history of quality control in mass-reared insects is described. Next, the differentiation of many traits of wild and mass-reared melon flies,Bactrocera cucurbitae, in Okinawa is reviewed, and the factors which have caused variation in these traits are considered. As artificial selection pressures are thought to be more important than inbreeding depression and genetic drift in the mass-reared strain of the Okinawan melon fly, two artificial selection experiments were conducted to evaluate genetic variations and genetic correlations among life history and behavioral traits. These are divergent selections for age at reproduction and for developmental period. The genetic relationship among 5 traits, i.e. longevity, age at reproduction, developmental period, circadian period, and time of mating was clarified and discussed in relation to genetic changes of traits during the mass-rearing. The results suggest that the genetic trade-off relationships between traits should be taken into account in mass-rearing programs.  相似文献

Ants have distinct morphological castes (queens and workers), but aberrant queen-worker “intercastes” occasionally occur, both in wild and laboratory conditions. Intercastes are rare, however, such novel phenotypes may have evolutionary significance. Their morphology is highly variable in any given species, providing valuable information about the integration of queen traits (e.g. ocelli, wings, complex segmentation of thorax, large gaster and ovaries, spermatheca). Generally, these traits are all diminished or absent in workers. We used multivariate morphometry to analyze an exceptionally large sample of 101 intercastes of Temnothorax nylanderi. We determined distributions and correlations of traits, and confirmed the mosaic nature of intercastes. Queen-specific traits are not expressed coherently in intercastes, but the possible patterns of trait combination are limited. A large number of small-sized intercastes had disproportionately larger head, ocelli and gaster but smaller thorax. In contrast, queen-like growth of thorax and rudimentary wings only occurred in large-sized intercastes. This is the most comprehensive analysis of intercaste variability, and suggests the existence of constraints on recombination of caste-specific modular traits.  相似文献
