草麻黄雌性生殖器官的个体发生和畸形式样研究   总被引:3,自引:1,他引:2

用扫描电镜观察并分析了草麻黄(Ephedra sinica Stapf)雌性生殖器官的个体发生及畸形式样。该种雌球花个体发生式样与麻黄属其他具双胚朱球果的类群基本一致。外珠被以一对近轴侧突起物出现以及该突起物与苞片成交互排列的发育式样支持前人关于该构造叶性本质的论述,而内珠被与珠心的发育相关,因此可能是真正的珠被,基于返祖性畸形三胚珠球花的出现及其他形态特征,认为麻黄属胚珠数目减少是该属内物种特化的一个趋势;利用雌球花发育的畸形现象及外珠被的形态学本质提出麻黄属的雌球果为复轴性构造,雌性生殖单位是由类似于科达类的次级生殖枝构造经系统发育变态,融合,简化成现存的生胚珠构造式样,每一可育苞片及其腋内雌性生殖单位共同组成了麻黄属的苞鳞-种鳞复合体。  相似文献

系统评述了迄今为止在裸子植物球果类种鳞形态学本质方面存在过的各种观点及研究进展。将 这些观点归纳为7大类:(1)Delpino和Penzig等主张种鳞为叶性器官的叶性说;(2)Sachs和Eichler认为种鳞相当于叶舌的叶舌说;(3)Bessey认为种鳞不过是胚珠合点端增生的结果的独特结构说;(4)Kubart等提出生胚珠构造的假种皮学说;(5)Arber的半枝学说;(6)Dupler的珠被说认为红豆杉类胚珠的肉质化部分为珠被性质的构造;(7)由Schleiden和Braun提出并由Florin等发展的枝性说则以充分的证据论证了种鳞的枝性本质。关于球果类裸子植物种鳞的性质和来源,本文作者赞同Florin枝性本质的论述;但对该构造现存式样的组成和演化过程,笔者认为该构造是在个体发育中不甚分化的专营生殖的枝性复合构造,由早期裸子植物次级生殖枝及其相关构造经过系统发育变态、融合演化形成。  相似文献

采用常规石蜡制片技术对马尾松雌球果的发生和早期发育进行了研究。结果表明:雌球果原基发生时间为10月中旬,不同的树龄和着生部位,其发生时间不同。雌球果原基与营养茎端在外部形态及内部细胞组织学分区结构有明显差异。营养茎端外形扁平,内部顶端分生组织结构有顶端原始细胞区、中央母细胞区、形成层状过渡区、周围分生组织区及肋状分生组织区5个明显的分区;而雌球果原基外形呈圆锥状,内部结构只有套层和髓区。12月初,最初的苞片原基在雌球果原基的鳞片的叶腋处产生,之后其由基部向顶部连续发生。翌年1月初,在苞片原基的叶腋处,珠鳞原基发生,发生方向亦为向顶发育。2月底,苞片体积不再发生变化,珠鳞膨大端的基部的近轴面分化出2个倒生胚珠。从雌球果原基发生到胚珠分化历时4个多月。亚热带的冬季气候对马尾松雌球果的生长发育没有明显的抑制作用。  相似文献

从未授粉的玉米植株的雌穗上,切除子房上部的三分之一,获得裸露的胚珠。在切口处授以经过消毒的玉米花粉,获得了14粒由胚珠发育的幼嫩种子。在授粉后20—22天幼嫩种子的胚已经成熟,并在果穗块上萌发和生长,现已获得两个植株。其中一株植株上有明显的父本标记的紫色素性状及类似父本的旗叶。根尖细胞染色体2n=20,F_2代有分离,因此证明是胚珠离体受精而来的杂种植株。另一株植株形态、色素、旗叶均与母本相似,染色体2n=20,生长健壮,雄穗很早抽出,但在抽雄后49天才长出弱小的雌穗,未获得种子。  相似文献

关于古老裸子植物银杏Ginkgo biloba L.雌性生殖器官形态学本质的问题争论 很多,因此这一类群的分类位置尚存争议。本文进一步发展了Florin提出的“种鳞复合 体(Seed-scale complex)”概念,提出解释裸子植物生殖器官形态演化的“苞鳞一种鳞复 合体(Bract-scale and seed-scale complex)概念和演化理论,并试图用以解释银杏的生 殖器官形态学本质和裸子植物系统发育的有关问题。由银杏着生胚珠的结构(Ovuliferous structure)生于可育短枝上鳞状叶叶腋的事实,赞同该结构为次级轴性(枝性)性质,提 出该次级轴性结构及连同下部的鳞状叶相当于裸子植物大部分类群所具有的苞鳞—种 鳞复合体(Bract-scale and seed-scale complex),并保留了较多的原始古老性质,可能 代表着苞鳞—种鳞复合体较原始的形态式样。该结构的鳞状叶与可育短枝上正常的营 养叶均为不育苞片的性质,鳞状叶叶腋生出的长柄则是次级轴性结构的次生性伸长,长 柄上部二分叉的着生胚珠结构相当于该次级轴性器官仅存的极度退化的二枚可育叶性器 官,而整个可育短枝相当于一个分化程度很低的复合大孢子叶球。银杏生殖器官中的某 些性状与苏铁十分相似,但由于苞鳞一种鳞复合体的出现,标志着这一类群已远较苏铁特 化,并应与所有具苞鳞—种鳞复合体的类群在同一条演化线上,即苞鳞—种鳞复合体 演化线(Bract-scale and seed-scale complex evolutionary line,BS-line),而不具苞鳞 —种鳞复合体的苏铁类(Cycas)则构成裸子植物中的苏铁演化线(Cycas evolutionary line,C-line)。银杏大孢子叶球的式样,可能代表着裸子植物一种早期的原始大苞子叶 球式样,为古裸子植物不甚分化的可育枝条向高度压缩和变态的可育枝条(苞鳞一种鳞复合体及典型的球果)演化的一种中间过渡式样。  相似文献

穗花杉胚珠结构最显著的特点之一是,珠心顶部有一比较发达的贮粉室。珠孔道的闭塞主要是由珠被中层区细胞形成的;珠被维管束8—14个。假种皮中具14—17个粘液分泌道。小孢子囊远轴着生,起源于皮下细胞。在小孢子母细胞分裂前后,绒毡层出现局部异常膨大现象。成熟花粉由两个细胞组成。雌配子体游离核经8次分裂产生256个核后形成胞壁。颈卵器单个,顶生。从胚珠结构和雌雄配子体发育来看,穗花杉属在红豆杉科中可能居于最原始的位置;而且它与三尖杉属有许多共同之处。  相似文献

用扫描电镜(SEM)观察了北美香柏 Thuja occidentalis 雌球果的发育过程。在北京,北美香柏的雌球果是在八月初由营养芽转变而来,雌球果一般有4~6对苞片,中间2~3对可育,每一苞片腋部着生两枚胚珠,在可育苞片腋部最先观察到一扁平的隆起,并在其上分化出两个胚珠原基,接着分化出珠被和珠心,最后形成扁平而两侧对称的胚珠。在北美香柏雌球果发育过程中,约一半的雌球果在2~3对可育苞片中位于下面的1~2对的腋部产生3个胚珠原基,中间一个较小,并在以后的发育中逐渐退化。由此推测北美香柏的雌球果可能是由祖先类群中每一苞片具多于2个胚珠的雌球果演化而来。在光镜下对雌球果维管系统的观察发现,传粉前幼小雌球果的苞片内仅有一束维管束,传粉后随着苞片基部的居间生长,有4—8束维管束在苞片内形成,但是新发育的维管束木质部和韧皮部相对位置与正常叶性器官一致,这与在以往报道的柏科植物成熟雌球果的苞片中均有反向维管束的发育不同。北美香柏雌球果早期发育和维管束分析结果支持傅德志和杨亲二提出的解释裸子植物生殖器官形态演化的“苞鳞-种鳞复合体”理论。关键词北美香柏;雌球果的发育;胚珠分化;SEM  相似文献

采用石蜡切片、半薄切片、扫描电镜技术对无距虾脊兰不同时期的子房(蒴果)进行研究.结果表明:(1)无距虾脊兰授粉后19d,胎座上分化出上万个胚珠原基,这些胚珠原基由1列细胞外包1层表皮细胞构成,其中胚珠原基内部顶端的细胞分化为孢原细胞,授粉后45 d,孢原细胞发育分化为大孢子母细胞.(2)无距虾脊兰成熟胚珠为倒生胚珠,双珠被,薄珠心,胚囊发育为蓼型,且胚珠的发育即便在同一个果实内也是不同步的.(3)受精后合子经过一次不均衡横裂形成基细胞和顶细胞;基细胞不参与胚体构成,分化为单细胞的胚柄,最后退化消失;顶细胞经多次分裂形成原球胚,胚胎发育类型为石竹型.(4)成熟种子呈纺锤形,由球形胚和内外双层种皮构成,双层种皮分别由内外珠被发育而来.  相似文献

以30年生白桦(Betula platyphylla)的雌花序为材料,研究了白桦有性生殖期间胚珠和胚乳的发育过程,以及胚和胚乳发育之间的关系。观察结果表明:白桦为合生心皮雌蕊,花柱2,子房室2,每室1~2个胚珠或无,中轴胎座,倒生胚珠,单层珠被,厚珠心发育;胚柄短小,由三个细胞构成;在历时4个月之久的雌配子体形成、胚胎发育直至成熟期间,胚珠经历了形态结构的变化和适应;在胚的发育过程中,胚乳起主要营养作用,胚乳发育类型为核型胚乳。最后对胚、胚乳发育的解剖结构及其相互关系以及影响种子质量的各环节进行了研究和讨论。  相似文献

The somatic embryogenesis was established from mature dehulled seeds. The histological research showed that embryogenic calli were initiated first from absorbed cells of scutellum of mature seed. And then the embryoids derived from the surface of embryogenic callus. Having been the same structure like a zygotic embryo of rice, the embryoids possessed the major parts of scutellum, coleoptile and coleorhiza. In an embryoid, several developmental stages of pro-embryoid, including single embryogenic cells, two, four and multiple cell stage pro-embryeids and some abnormal embryoids were observed. It could be concluded from this experiment that the embryoid from somatic cell culture in Indica rice possessed an original form of a plant in structure like a zygotic did and derived from a single cell.  相似文献

Summary Previous studies of the allodapine beeExoneura bicolor have utilised a predominantly social population from tall montane forests. In this report we examine aspects of the sociality and biology of a population from subcoastal heathland in western Victoria, Australia. Entire colonies, nesting inXanthorrhoea minor, were collected at monthly intervals over 12 months between February 1989 and January 1990. In addition, three collections fromMelaleuca squarrosa were made over three consecutive winter months. The heathland population differs from the montane population in several aspects associated with sociality: (i) it shows lower levels of co-occupancy in both newly founded and re-used nests; (ii) foundress dispersal occurs over a larger proportion of the year; and (iii) there may be a partical second brood produced in late summer, during and after adult eclosion of the first brood. The occurrence of a partial second brood gives rise to opportunities for sib-rearing and eusociality. Colony sizes tend to be larger inM. squarrosa thanX. minor, but still smaller than colonies from the montane population. Egg-laying commences several weeks earlier in multifemale colonies than in single female colonies, before spring dispersal begins. It appears that multifemale colonies are more successful at preventing brood loss than single females and that the mean number of brood per female is larger in multifemale colonies than in single female colonies. These two populations, which display differences in several life history traits, provide an ideal system for studying the mechanisms maintaining social behavior.  相似文献

Summary When the phoretic mite Poecilochirus carabi reproduces in the brood chamber of its carrier Necrophorus vespilloides, a beetle with biparental brood care, the first deuteronymphs of the new mite generation aggregate on the male beetle. They do not use sex-specific traits to discriminate between male and female beetles in the brood chamber, but traits that are related to the beetles' behaviour and may be displayed by both parent beetles. When the male beetle departs, it carries virtually all deuteronymphs then present in the brood chamber. Deuteronymphs that develop later congregate on the female, which leaves the crypt some days after the male. Only those deuteronymphs that miss the female's departure disperse on the beetle larvae, meaning they have to wait in their pupal chambers until the beetles have completed their development. On average, 86% of the deuteronymphs leave the brood chamber on the parent beetles, thereby gaining the advantage of an early departure. As soon as their carrier arrives at one of the beetles' meeting places, the deuteronymphs can transfer between the beetles present. Choice experiments revealed that the deuteronymphs tend to even out density differences between congregating carriers, and prefer sexually mature to immature beetles. Therefore, transferring between beetles results in a dispersion of deuteronymphs on the sexually mature beetles of the population.  相似文献

Offspring sex ratios were examined at the population and family level in the sexually monomorphic, socially monogamous fairy martin Petrochelidon ariel at five colony sites over a 4-year period (1993–1996). The sex of 465 nestlings from 169 broods was determined using sex-specific PCR at the CHD locus. In accordance with predicted sex allocation patterns, population sex ratios at hatching and fledging did not differ from parity in any year and the variance in brood sex ratios did not deviate from the binomial distribution. Further, brood sex ratio did not vary with hatching date during the season, brood number, brood size or colony size. The sex ratio of broods with extra-pair young did not differ from those without, while the sex ratio of broods fathered by males that gained extra-pair fertilizations did not differ from broods fathered by other males. Extra-pair chicks were as likely to be male as female. Neither the total number of feeding visits to the brood nor the relative feeding contribution by the sexes varied significantly with brood sex ratio. Brood sex ratios were also unrelated to paternal size, condition and breeding experience or maternal condition and breeding experience. However, contrary to our prediction, brood sex ratio was negatively correlated with maternal size. Generally, these results were consistent with our expectations that brood sex ratios would not vary with environmental factors or parental characteristics, and would not influence the level of parental provisioning. However, the finding that females with longer tarsi produced an excess of daughters is difficult to reconcile with our current understanding of fairy martin life history and breeding ecology.  相似文献

The population ecology of Gammarus tigrinus (Sexton) was studied in the Tjeukemeer during 1969 and 1970. G. tigrinus reaches very high densities — up to 24,000/m2 in parts of the study area. In 1970, the summer densities were 2–21/2 times greater than in 1969. Individuals do not grow to such large sizes in the summer as at other times of the year. Females begin to carry eggs in March or April and reproduction ceases in November. Large females have larger broods than smaller animals and the average size of the brood varies with the time of year. The egg incubation period and growth rate are dependent upon temperature. At summer temperatures females became sexually mature after about four weeks and the egg incubation period is about io days. The entire population is turned over about three times during the year. A combination of rapid growth rate, early onset of sexual maturity and high fecundity are probably responsible for the rapid spread of G. tigrinus throughout much of the Netherlands.  相似文献

Mass-provisioning wasps package maternal investment into broodcells, sealed structures that contain all the provisions necessaryfor an offspring's growth and development. Optimal sex-allocationtheory predicts that if maternal provisions determine the sizeof each offspring, and the amount of provisions available toeach offspring varies, females should allocate well-stockedbrood cells to the sex that benefits most from being large.I tested this hypothesis using observations of organ-pipe wasps,Trypoxylon politum, and dissections of their nests. A Mississippipopulation of T. politum was intensively studied from 1993 to1995. This population fit the assumptions of optimal sex-allocationmodels by Green and Brockmann and Grafen. Female weight at emergencewas 1.29 times that of males, and wing length was 1.15 timesthat of males. This discrepancy in size occurred because thevolume of parental provisions strongly influenced adult bodysize, and better-stocked brood cells were preferentially allocatedto daughters. Brood-cell volume correlated with both wing lengthand weight at emergence in both sexes, and the chance that agiven brood cell contained a female offspring increased withincreasing brood-cell volume. Fitness was positively relatedto body size for females, but I found no evidence of an advantageto large males. Although there was evidence of stabilizing selectionfor male wing length in one year, there was no evidence of anincreasing relationship between body size and fitness (directionalselection) for males in either 1993 or 1994. Female fecunditywas positively related to body size in both years, indicatingthat larger females have increased reproductive success. Therate at which females provisioned brood cells was also correlatedwith body size. Observed patterns of investment in brood cellsare quantitatively consistent with the predictions of optimalsex-allocation theory, but certain aspects of female provisioningbehavior suggest females are not following a single "optimal"strategy. Patterns of provisioning were variable among differentfemales at the study site during the same year. Large femalestended to produce larger offspring. There is little information concerning the reproductive biology of the Pycnogonida. Information obtained by the authors concerning the female reproductive system of British pycnogonids is discussed and evaluated.
Oögenesis and vitellogenesis are similar to the processes described in some annelids and crustaceans. Vitellogenesis contrasts with the process in insects where the majority of the yolk is produced extra-oöcytically and is transported to the developing oocyte, whereas in the Pycnogonida the majority of the yolk is produced intra-öocytically with only a small extra-oocyte contribution. This represents a fairly primitive arthropodan type of vitellogenesis.
The reproductive cycles of several British pycnogonid species have been studied by regular sampling at different localities over long periods of time. This has provided information on population dynamics, particularly life-span, migratory movements and fecundity.
Although similarities exist between species there are also marked differences in that some species produce only a single new generation each year, whereas in others the presence of a second population of mature ova in the same year may enable the production of a second brood, if conditions are favourable.  相似文献

A population of the intertidal isopod Excirolana braziliensis was followed over a 10-month period at Naos Island, Panama. Average intertidal density was 2147/m2 with maximum abundance occurring in the highest level. Adults were present only in the highest tidal level. Juveniles were distributed throughout all tidal levels and comprised at least 70% of the population at all times. Mean size of individuals decreased from the highest level seaward. Reproductive females were present the year round. The number of young ranged from four to 17 per brood and was dependent on the length of the female. Adults were very tolerant of changes in temperature and salinity.  相似文献

The ability of immature, mature and endosperm-supported mature embryos of diploid and tetraploid winter ryes (Secale cereale L) was tested to compare the callus induction and plant regeneration. Immature embryos were obtained from field grown rye. Immature embryos were aseptically excised and placed, with the scutellum upwards, on the callus culture medium consisted of Murashige and Skoog (MS) mineral salts supplemented with 2 mg l?1 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid (2,4-D). Mature embryos were aseptically excised the imbibed seeds and placed, scutellum up, on MS medium supplement with 2 mg l?1 2,4-D. Endosperm-supported mature embryos were moved slightly (not set free) in the imbibed mature seeds. The seeds with moved embryos were placed furrow downwards in dishes containing 8 mg l?1 2,4-D for callus induction. The developed calli and regenerated plant were maintained on hormone free MS medium. Comparison of the responses of the three explants used indicated that endosperm-supported mature embryo was the most useful explant for plant regeneration in both diploid and tetraplold ryes. This is the first report of winter ryes plants having been regenerated from endosperm-supported mature embryos.  相似文献

Free and conjugated sterols of endosperm, coats, scutellum, coleoptile and roots have been analysed at different germination stages in two wheat cultivars with different endosperm sterol phenotypes. It seems that sterol metabolism of the developing tissues, namely coleoptile and roots, is not affected by the sterol conjugation profile of the endosperm. Enough sterol is present in the mature embryo to supply the germinating axis during the observation period (144 hr at 16°). The data suggest that sterol is transferred from scutellum to coleoptile and roots during germination.  相似文献
