不同地区望天树种群形态特征的比较

本文比较了间断分布在云南南部、东南部和广西西南部的望天树种群的形态特征,三者的差异主要在果翅上。云南南部的望天树果翅短而宽,广西西南部的果翅长而窄,云南东南部的望天树居中;云南南部的望天树果翅长度在广西望天树的翅长变幅内,翅宽虽超出后者变幅,却在云南东南部的翅宽变幅内。三者在形态特征上有统计学的差异,但变异是连续的,在分类学上区分为三个变种还嫌不足。

A COMPARISON OF MORPHOLOGICAL CHARACTERS OF THE POPULATIONS OF SHOREA CHINENSIS FROM DIFFERENT REGIONS

A comparison of morphological characters of the populations of Shoreo chinensis occurring in different regions is made in the paper. The morphological variances of the different populations of Shorea chinensis occur mainly in their fruit wings. The population in S Yunnan usually has relatively short and wide fruit wings and the population in SW Guangxi has relatively long and less wide fruit wings, while the populations in SE Yunnan has the variance of fruit wing just at the middle of the former two. Further more, the length of fruit wing of the population in S Yunnan is completely within the scope of wing length of the populations in SW Guangxi. Although there are statistically variances in the populations from three different regions, the variances occur continuously and gradually, and the disjunction among them can not be recognozed clearly. Therefore, it is not acceptable that the populations of the species from different regions were taxonomi-cally treated as varieties.
