| Abstract: | The phylogeny of Alciopidae (Polychaeta) was reexamined using cladistic analysis with computer, the result was compared with Dales' and Rice's conclusions which derived from evolutionary taxonomy and numerical taxonomy respectively. It was found that the result of Cla-distics analysis was much similar to that of Dales' report rather than that of Rice's. Alciopa, Vanadis, Naiades and Torea were the four most specialized genera. Alciopina was the sister group of all other eight genera. |
