| 摘 要： | 通过标本观察和资料分析,作者认为在中国中部严重为害花生的新珠蚧学名应是Neomargarodes gossypii Yang,并且对该虫的各虫态特征进行了重新描述。

| Abstract: | A species of ground pearls severely damaged peanuts in central China such as Henan, Hebei, Shandong and Shannxi province in past twenty years, but the scientific name of this ground pearl is uncertain. In the papers and works on this pest some authors used the scientific name Neomargarodes niger (Green, 1912) such as HOU Zhang-de et al (1986), the others used Neomargarodes sp. such as REN Ying-dang et al (2001). Based on the specimens examined and biology, we conclude that 1) the correct scientific name for ground pearl damaging peanut should be N. gossypii Yang (1979), not N. niger (Green, 1912); 2) N. gossypii is a valid species, not the synonym of N. N. chondrillae Arch.(1935). Besides, the morphology of adult male and female, first and second (cyst) nymphs, and male pupa are redescribed and illustrated. |
