对爆裂玉米的膨爆机理、膨爆特性、影响膨爆的因素及高产育种进行了综述。爆裂玉米的膨爆关键取于籽粒内部高压的形成,果皮和胚乳的致密结构是籽粒内部高压形成的重要保证;适宜的水分含量是籽粒内部产生高压水汽的物质基础,而导致这种高压水汽产生的外部则是来自于加热温度。此外,品种特性和籽粒性状等对爆裂玉米的膨爆特性也有一定的影响。爆裂玉米的品质特性与选育高产品种之间似无很大矛盾,可以单独进行改良。而且营养丰富,应用前景广泛。  相似文献

The mulberry tree is an important crop for silkworm farming and for the health care industry. In Asia, the annual productivity of mulberry fruits is greatly reduced due to popcorn disease mainly caused by Ciboria shiraiana, a sclerotia-forming fungal pathogen. To date, the development of efficient biocontrol agents (BCAs) against this disease has been hampered by the recalcitrance of C. shiraiana to in vitro culturing methods. Here, we established alternative in vitro antifungal assays that directly monitored the effects of BCAs on the growth of C. shiraiana apothecia and further reported that Bacillus thuringiensis C25 suppressed popcorn disease in field conditions. Initially, from mulberry drupelets showing the popcorn disease symptoms, we confirmed the infection of C. shiraiana and observed its morphology in asexual stage. Then, apothecia of C. shiraiana were induced from the sclerotia collected from the disease-infested orchard. Two bacterial isolates, Enterobacter sp. C5 and B. thuringiensis C25, strongly suppressed the elongation and fresh weight accumulation of apothecia stalks, the width of hymenium, and ascus and ascospore formation of C. shiraiana. In addition, both bacterial isolates degraded the ultrastructure of hymenium cells in C. shiraiana apothecia. Ultimately, treatment of mulberry trees with B. thuringiensis C25 mitigated the incidence of popcorn mulberry disease under field conditions. In conclusion, B. thuringiensis C25 is the first reported BCA shown to efficiently control mulberry popcorn disease. Our results also support that B. thuringiensis exerts diverse biocontrol roles in addition to insecticidal behaviour.  相似文献

Popcorn (Zea mays L.) hybrids grown in the United States are derived from narrow-based germplasm, and standard RFLP analysis detects relatively little polymorphism. Inter-simple sequence repeat (ISSR) amplification, a novel technique based on PCR amplification of inter-microsatellite sequences to target multiple loci in the genome, was employed to investigate its potential for detection of polymorphism among nineteen popcorn and eight dent corn inbred lines. ISSR yielded an average of 54 bands/primer/inbred line, with over 98% of the bands repeatable across DNA extractions and separate PCR runs. Ten primers based on di- and tri-nucleotide tandem repeats revealed 73% and 87% polymorphism among popcorn and dent corn lines, respectively, with an overall 95% polymorphism rate. Principal component and cluster analyses resulted in grouping of dent and popcorn lines corresponding to their heterotic breeding pools. ISSR amplification, in addition to being both simple and cost and time efficient, provides for rapid production of highly polymorphic markers which appear to correspond to known pedigree information. Therefore, the ISSR technique may have great potential for identifying polymorphism in species with narrow-based germplasm, and for use in DNA marker-assisted breeding approaches.  相似文献

Popping fold (PF) is the most important quality trait in popcorn. In this study, a total of 259 F2:3 families, derived from the cross between a dent corn inbred Dan232 and a popcorn inbred N04, were evaluated for their popping folds in replicated experiments under two environments. Of 613 simple sequence repeat (SSR) primer pairs screened, 183 pairs were selected to construct a genetic linkage map with the genetic distance of 1 762.2 cM (centimorgan) and on average 9.63 cM every marker. Quantative trait loci (QTL) were identified, and their genetic effects were estimated using CIM (composite interval mapping) method. The interactions among QTLs detected were calculated using MIM (multiple interval mapping) method. In all, 22 QTLs were detected, and only 5 of them were common under two environments. Contribution to phenotypic variation of a single QTL varied from 3.07% to 12.84%, and total contributions of all QTLs under two environments were 66.46% and 51.90%, respectively. Three QTLs (qPF-6-1, qPF-8-1 and qPF-1-3) with more than 10% contributions were observed. The additive effects were larger than dominant effects for most QTLs. The amount of QTLs showing additive, partially dominant, dominant and over-dominant effects were 4, 5, 0, 2 in spring sowing and 2, 5, 2, 2 in summer sowing, respectively. There were only 2.60% pairs of QTLs or maker intervals expressing AA, DA or DD interactions.  相似文献

Wolbachia popcorn ( w MelPop), a life-shortening strain of Wolbachia, has been proposed as an agent for suppressing transmission of dengue fever following infection of the vectoring mosquito Aedes aegypti . However, evolutionary changes in the host and Wolbachia genomes might attenuate any life span effects mediated by w MelPop. Here we test for attenuation by selecting strains of Drosophila melanogaster infected with w MelPop for early and late reproduction in three independent outcrossed populations. Selection caused divergence among the lines in longevity. This divergence was mostly associated with the host genetic background rather than the Wolbachia infection, although there were also interactions between the host and Wolbachia genomes. Development time, viability, and productivity were not altered by selection. The implications of these results are discussed in light of the intended use of w MelPop for suppressing disease transmission.  相似文献

膨化倍数是爆裂玉米最重要的品质指标。以普通玉米自交系丹232和爆裂玉米自交系N04杂交构建的259个F2:3家系为定位群体,采用完全随机区组设计在郑州春播和夏播条件下测定了膨化倍数。利用覆盖玉米10条染色体的183对多态性分子标记构建连锁图,采用复合区间作图法(CIM)进行QTL定位分析,采用多区间作图法(MIM)分析定位QTL间的互作效应。共检测出22个QTLs,单个QTL的贡献率为3.07%~12.84%,累计贡献率为66.46%和51.90%。其中5个QTLs在两种环境条件下均检测到,3个QTLs(qPF-6-1、qPF-8-1和qPF-1-3)的贡献率大于10%。大多数QTLs的加性效应值大于显性效应,表现为加性、部分显性、显性和超显性基因作用方式的QTLs数目在两种环境下分别为4、5、0、2和2、5、2、2。仅6对(占2.60%)QTLs或标记区间存在显著互作效应,表现为AA、DA或DD互作方式。  相似文献

在两种环境条件下种植以普通玉米自交系丹232和爆裂玉米自交系N04为亲本构建的259个F2:3家系群体, 采用SSR标记构建了包含183个标记的玉米遗传连锁图谱, 覆盖玉米基因组1 762.2 cM, 标记间平均距离为9.6 cM。利用三倍体胚乳遗传模型和区间作图方法对籽粒淀粉含量进行了QTL定位和遗传效应分析, 春、夏播条件下共检测到10个QTL, 春播条件下检测到的QTL在夏播均被检测到, 分别位于第1、3、4、5、7染色体上,可解释淀粉的表型总变异分别为36.84%和72.65%, 单个QTL解释表型变异介于4.74%~11.26%。在检测到的 QTL中, 有2个QTL的遗传作用方式在春播均表现为超显性, 而夏播分别为加性和部分显性; 其他2个为加性, 1个为部分显性, 5个为超显性。3个QTL的增效基因来自丹232, 其余QTL的增效基因均来自N04。  相似文献
