Using the monomolecular film technique, we studied interfacial properties of Fusarium solani lipase (FSL). This lipolytic enzyme was found to be unique among the fungal lipases possessing not only a lipase activity but also a high phospholipase one.The FSL was able to hydrolyze dicaprin films at various surface pressures. The surface pressure dependency, the stereospecificity, and the regioselectivity of FSL were performed using optically pure stereoisomers of diglyceride (1,2‐sn‐ dicaprin and 2,3‐sn‐dicaprin) and a prochiral isomer (1,3‐sn‐dicaprin) spread as monomolecular films at the air–water interface. The FSL prefers adjacent ester groups of the diglyceride isomers (1,2‐sn‐dicaprin and 2,3‐sn‐dicaprin) at low and high surface pressures. Furthermore, FSL was found to be markedly stereospecific for the sn‐1 position of the 1,2‐sn‐enantiomer of dicaprin at both low and high surface pressures.Moreover, FSL shows high activities on phospholipids monolayers. Anthracnose Citrus disease has been associated with several symptoms worldwide and it is recently compromising Citrus production in the Mediterranean area. Four species complexes are mainly involved: Colletotrichum boninense, C. acutatum, C. gloeosporioides and C. truncatum. In this study, we investigated the genetic diversity of Colletotrichum spp. in Tunisia associated with wither‐tip of twigs on Citrus. Specific primers ITS4‐CgInt allowed the identification of Cgloeosporioides species complex in all the 54 isolates, sampled from three regions and four Citrus species. Overall, our genotypic analysis using 10 SSR markers showed a moderate diversity level in Tunisian C. gloeosporioides population and highlighted that C. gloeosporioides reproduce mainly clonally. In addition, heterothallic isolates were present in our population, suggesting that the pathogen population may undergo parasexual recombinations. The highest genetic diversity in C. gloeosporioides was recorded in Nabeul and on orange, which likely constitutes the area and the host of origin for the Citrus anthracnose disease in Tunisia. In addition, no population subdivision was detected at the geographic, host species or cultivars’ origin levels. However, our study identified two genetic subpopulations and indicated a rapid C. gloeosporioides population change at temporal scale that should be further examined over several consecutive growing seasons in order to understand its population dynamics.  相似文献

Carbon‐oxide and carbon‐sulfide nanocomposites have attracted tremendous interest as the anode materials for Li and Na ion batteries. Such composites are fascinating as they often show synergistic effect compared to their singular components. Carbon nanomaterials are often used as the matrix due to their high conductivity, tensile strength, and chemical stability under the battery condition. Metal oxides and sulfides are often used as active material fillers because of their large capacity. Numerous works have shown that by taking one step further into fabricating nanocomposites with rational structure design, much better performance can be achieved. The present review aims to present and discuss the development of carbon‐based nanocomposite anodes in both Li ion batteries and Na ion batteries. The authors introduce the individual components in the composites, i.e., carbon matrices (e.g., carbon nanotube, graphene) and metal oxides/sulfides; followed by evaluating how advanced nanostructures benefit from the synergistic effect when put together. Particular attention is placed on strategies employed in fabricating such composites, with examples such as yolk–shell structure, layered‐by‐layered structure, and composite comprising one or more carbon matrices. Lastly, the authors conclude by highlighting challenges that still persist and their perspective on how to further develop the technologies.  相似文献

The decolourization and detoxification of the triarylmethane dye Malachite green (MG) by laccase from Trametes sp. were investigated. The laccase decolorized efficiently the dye down to 97% of 50 mg L?1 initial concentration of MG when only 0.1 U mL?1 of laccase was used in the reaction mixture. The effects of different physicochemical parameters were tested and optimal decolourization rates occurred at pH 6 and at temperatures between 50 and 60 °C. Decolourization of MG occurred in the presence of metal ions which could be found in textile industry effluent. 1-hydroxybenzotriazole (HBT) affected positively the decolourization of MG. The presence of some phenolic compounds namely ferulic, coumaric, gallic, and tannic acids was found to be inhibiting for the decolourization at a concentration of 10 mM.The effect of laccase inhibitors in the decolourization of MG was tested with l-cysteine, and ethylene diamine tetra-acetic acid (EDTA) at concentrations of 0.1, 1 and 10 mM. It was demonstrated that l-cysteine and EDTA inhibited the decolourization starting from 1 mM concentration. However, for NaCl a concentration of 100 mM was needed for the inhibition of laccase. The decolourization of MG resulted in the removal of its toxicity against Phanerochaete chrysosporium.The stability of the laccase toward temperature and HBT free radicals was also assessed during MG decolourization. It was shown that laccase was stable at 50 °C but in the presence of the laccase mediator HBT, the stability of the enzyme was severely affected resulting in a loss of 50% of the activity after 3 h incubation.  相似文献

In this paper, the heat transfer effect on the unsteady boundary layer flow of a Casson fluid past an infinite oscillating vertical plate with Newtonian heating is investigated. The governing equations are transformed to a systems of linear partial differential equations using appropriate non-dimensional variables. The resulting equations are solved analytically by using the Laplace transform method and the expressions for velocity and temperature are obtained. They satisfy all imposed initial and boundary conditions and reduce to some well-known solutions for Newtonian fluids. Numerical results for velocity, temperature, skin friction and Nusselt number are shown in various graphs and discussed for embedded flow parameters. It is found that velocity decreases as Casson parameters increases and thermal boundary layer thickness increases with increasing Newtonian heating parameter.  相似文献

In vitro regeneration of sweet pepper (Capsicum annuum L. cvs Jupiter and Pimiento Perfection) has been performed via direct organogenesis. The resulting shoot-buds were placed on media containing 24-epi-brassinolide (EBR) 0.1 μM, a plant steroid lactone, in the presence or absence of zeatin 9.1 μM plus GA3 5.2 μM for further stem elongation. Different responses to these treatments were recorded depending upon the protocols used and the genotypes tested. It appears that EBR does not always act directly on stem elongation but may be an elicitor and/or an enhancer of elongation in concert with endogenous and other exogenously added growth regulators. Elongated shoots were easily rooted with alpha-naphtalenacetic acid 0.5 μM (0.1 mgl-1) and transfered to soil, and following acclimation were taken to maturity in the greenhouse. Obesity is associated with increased markers of oxidative stress. We examined whether oxidative stress is reduced within the first week after Roux‐en‐Y gastric bypass (RYGB) surgery and could be related to changes in adipose tissue depots. The reactive oxygen species (ROS) marker 8‐iso‐prostaglandin F2α (8‐iso‐PGF2α) and activity of antioxidant glutathione peroxidases (GPX) in plasma were compared before and ~1 week after RYGB. The effects of RYGB on subcutaneous adipose tissue and interstitial fluid 8‐iso‐PGF2α levels and subcutaneous adipose tissue expression of GPX‐3 were also assessed. Levels of 8‐iso‐PGF2α in subcutaneous and visceral adipose tissue were determined. Plasma 8‐iso‐PGF2α levels decreased (122 ± 75 to 56 ± 15 pg/ml, P = 0.001) and GPX activity increased (84 ± 18 to 108 ± 25 nmol/min/ml, P = 0.003) in the first week post‐RYGB. RYGB also resulted in reductions of 8‐iso‐PGF2α in subcutaneous adipose tissue (1,742 ± 931 to 1,132 ± 420 pg/g fat, P = 0.046) and interstitial fluid (348 ± 118 to 221 ± 83 pg/ml, P = 0.046) that were comparable to plasma (26–33%, P = 0.74). Adipose GPX‐3 expression was increased (6.7 ± 4.7‐fold, P = 0.004) in the first postoperative week. The improvements in oxidative stress occurred with minimal weight loss (2.4 ± 3.4%, P = 0.031) and elevations in plasma interleukin‐6 (18.0 ± 46.8 to 28.0 ± 58.9 pg/ml, P = 0.004). Subcutaneous and visceral adipose tissues express comparable 8‐iso‐PGF2α levels (1,204 ± 470 and 1,331 ± 264 pg/g fat, respectively; P = 0.34). These data suggest that RYGB affects adipose tissue leading to the restoration of adipose redox balance within the first postoperative week and that plasma 8‐iso‐PGF2α is primarily derived from subcutaneous adipose tissue.  相似文献

Sesuvium portulacastrum is a halophytic species well adapted to salinity and drought. In order to evaluate the physiological impact of salt on water deficit-induced stress response, we cultivated seedlings for 12 days, in the presence or absence of 100 mmol l−1 NaCl, on a nutrient solution containing either 0 mmol l−1 or 25 mmol l−1 mannitol. Mannitol-induced water stress reduced growth, increased the root/shoot ratio, and led to a significant decrease in water potential and leaf relative water content, whereas leaf Na+ and K+ concentrations remained unchanged. The addition of 100 mmol l−1 NaCl to 25 mmol l−1 mannitol-containing medium mitigated the deleterious impact of water stress on growth of S. portulacastrum, improved the relative water content, induced a significant decrease in leaf water potential and, concomitantly, resulted in enhancement of overall plant photosynthetic activity (i.e. CO2 net assimilation rate, stomatal conductance). Presence of NaCl in the culture medium, together with mannitol, significantly increased the level of Na+ and proline in the leaves, but it had no effect on leaf soluble sugar content. These findings suggest that the ability of NaCl to improve plant performance under mannitol-induced water stress may be due to its effect on osmotic adjustment through Na+ and proline accumulation, which is coupled with an improvement in photosynthetic activity. A striking recovery in relative water content and growth of the seedlings was also recorded in the presence of NaCl on release of the water stress induced by mannitol.  相似文献
