中国梧桐属(Firmiana)在世界梧桐属中占比较大,且除梧桐外其余种均为中国特有且分布范围狭窄的植物种,灭绝风险大,研究气候变化对中国梧桐属树种的影响对于维护生物多样性具有重要的意义。结合多时期第六次国际气候耦合模式比较计划(CMIP6)气候变量数据和中国八种梧桐属树种的分布数据,基于R语言kuenm程序包优化的最大熵(Maxent)模型模拟分析中国八种梧桐属树种在多尺度下的潜在适生区,得出梧桐属最适宜的模拟尺度、潜在适生区的面积变化和迁移方向、梧桐属多样性保护关键区域及保护空缺。结果表明:(1)梧桐属最适宜的模拟尺度为亚洲;(2) Maxent模型的接收者操作特征曲线下面积(AUC)值均大于0.9,表明模型对梧桐属潜在适生区预测结果具有较高准确度;(3)气候变化影响下除云南梧桐(Firmiana major)外其它树种的潜在适生区都将在未来有所扩大;(4)中国八种梧桐属树种潜在适生区迁移方向主要为东西向,南北向大跨度迁移较少,纬度变化不大;(5)丹霞梧桐(Firmiana danxiaensis)的稳定潜在适生区最小;(6)中国梧桐属多样性保护关键区域主要分布于广西壮族自治区及云南、广东、海南等省区;(7)中国梧桐属多样性保护空缺区域主要分布于广西壮族自治区中部及海南省北部;(8)梧桐属多样性保护关键区域正在为人造地表所侵蚀。研究分析气候变化对中国八种梧桐属树种的影响及其潜在适生区变化、中国梧桐属多样性保护状态,可为中国梧桐属建立多样性保护廊道提供相关建议,为制定多样性保护规划及相应措施提供参考。  相似文献

Pentanchus profundicolus is an enigmatic shark, characterized by a single dorsal fin. The holotype, which was collected in 1909 from the Philippines, had remained the only known example of the species for 90 years. A second specimen, collected from the same waters, is re-described. The presence of a single dorsal fin remains equivocal in so far as it represents the normal condition for the species. BackgroundOut-of-hospital cardiac arrest (OHCA) remains a major public health issue and research has shown that large regional variation in outcomes exists. Of the interventions associated with survival, the provision of bystander CPR is one of the most important modifiable factors. The aim of this study is to identify census areas with high incidence of OHCA and low rates of bystander CPR in Victoria, AustraliaMethodsWe conducted an observational study using prospectively collected population-based OHCA data from the state of Victoria in Australia. Using ArcGIS (ArcMap 10.0), we linked the location of the arrest using the dispatch coordinates (longitude and latitude) to Victorian Local Government Areas (LGAs). We used Bayesian hierarchical models with random effects on each LGA to provide shrunken estimates of the rates of bystander CPR and the incidence rates.ResultsOver the study period there were 31,019 adult OHCA attended, of which 21,436 (69.1%) cases were of presumed cardiac etiology. Significant variation in the incidence of OHCA among LGAs was observed. There was a 3 fold difference in the incidence rate between the lowest and highest LGAs, ranging from 38.5 to 115.1 cases per 100,000 person-years. The overall rate of bystander CPR for bystander witnessed OHCAs was 62.4%, with the rate increasing from 56.4% in 2008–2010 to 68.6% in 2010–2013. There was a 25.1% absolute difference in bystander CPR rates between the highest and lowest LGAs.ConclusionSignificant regional variation in OHCA incidence and bystander CPR rates exists throughout Victoria. Regions with high incidence and low bystander CPR participation can be identified and would make suitable targets for interventions to improve CPR participation rates.  相似文献

The effect of dexamethasone administration and withdrawal was studied with respect to blood-brain barrier function. The tracers alpha-[3H]aminoisobutyric acid (AIB) (MW 104) and [14C]sucrose (MW 342), which have a low permeability across the intact endothelium, were simultaneously injected intravenously in rats treated with dexamethasone and placebo-treated control animals or in rats in which dexamethasone treatment was discontinued 3 days before the experiment. Unidirectional transfer constants (Ki) were determined in discrete brain regions. Steroid administration reduced the rate of influx of AIB and sucrose, whereas discontinuation of drug resulted in an increased permeability. These findings suggest that when exposure to glucocorticoids is prolonged, the efficiency of medical treatment of CNS diseases may decrease due to reduction of drug delivery to CNS. Thus, these experimental findings may have particular importance in the clinical setting of drug administration when considering the combination of steroids with other drugs, and may aid in understanding better the pathogenesis of some types of brain edema seen in patients from whom corticosteroid therapy has been withdrawn.  相似文献

Cell swelling is now admitted as being a new principle of metabolic control but little is known about the energetics of cell swelling. We have studied the influence of hypo- or hyperosmolarity on both isolated hepatocytes and isolated rat liver mitochondria. Cytosolic hypoosmolarity on isolated hepatocytes induces an increase in matricial volume and does not affect the myxothiazol sensitive respiratory rate while the absolute value of the overall thermodynamic driving force over the electron transport chain increases. This points to an increase in kinetic control upstream the respiratory chain when cytosolic osmolarity is decreased. On isolated rat liver mitochondria incubated in hypoosmotic potassium chloride media, energetic parameters vary as in cells and oxidative phosphorylation efficiency is not affected. Cytosolic hyperosmolarity induced by sodium co-transported amino acids, per se, does not affect either matrix volume or energetic parameters. This is not the case in isolated rat liver mitochondria incubated in sucrose hyperosmotic medium. Indeed, in this medium, adenine nucleotide carrier is inhibited as the external osmolarity increases, which lowers the state 3 respiration close to state 4 level and consequently leads to a decrease in oxidative phosphorylation efficiency. When isolated rat liver mitochondria are incubated in KCl hyperosmotic medium, state 3 respiratory rate, matrix volume and membrane electrical potential vary as a function of time. Indeed, matrix volume is recovered in hyperosmotic KCl medium and this recovery is dependent on Pi-Kentry. State 3 respiratory rate increases and membrane electrical potential difference decreases during the first minutes of mitochondrial incubation until the attainment of the same value as in isoosmotic medium. This shows that matrix volume, flux and force are regulated as a function of time in KCl hyperosmotic medium. Under steady state, neither matrix volume nor energetic parameters are affected. Moreover, NaCl hyperosmotic medium allows matrix volume recovery but induces a decrease in state 3 respiratory flux. This indicates that potassium is necessary for both matrix volume and flux recovery in isolated mitochondria. We conclude that hypoosmotic medium induces an increase in kinetic control both upstream and on the respiratory chain and changes the oxidative phosphorylation response to forces. At steady state, hyperosmolarity, per se, has no effect on oxidative phosphorylation in either isolated hepatocytes or isolated mitochondria incubated in KCl medium. Therefore, potassium plays a key role in matrix volume, flux and force regulation.  相似文献

当前,城市景观生态风险研究缺少科学合理、方便实用的评估框架。作者基于景观生态风险评估基本范式,明确了城市景观生态服务价值的测算方法,分析了引起生态损害的自然因素和人类活动因素,形成了城市景观生态风险评估的技术框架和参数体系;继而以北京天坛地区为研究区,开展了典型城市景观生态风险的定量评估。结果表明:(1)天坛地区景观生态价值总量约为2.41亿元。区域的历史文化价值最高,教育和美学景观价值紧随其后。(2)城市景观生态受损概率呈现"北高南低"的空间分布格局。生态受损概率的高值区面积占整个区域总面积的22.2%,主要分布在珠市口、磁器口和崇文门附近区域。(3)城市景观生态风险呈现"北低南高"的空间分布格局。高风险区主要分布在天坛公园内的文物建筑周边。本研究提供了一个可参考的城市景观生态风险评估应用框架,对生态风险评估中的不确定性进行了讨论,研究针对天坛案例区的具体结论有助于城市管理者避免潜在的风险。  相似文献

Probing the solution structure of membrane proteins represents a formidable challenge, particularly when using small-angle scattering. Detergent molecules often present residual scattering contributions even at their match point in small-angle neutron scattering (SANS) measurements. Here, we studied the conformation of FhaC, the outer-membrane, β-barrel transporter of the Bordetella pertussis filamentous hemagglutinin adhesin. SANS measurements were performed on homogeneous solutions of FhaC solubilized in n-octyl-d17-βD-glucoside and on a variant devoid of the α helix H1, which critically obstructs the FhaC pore, in two solvent conditions corresponding to the match points of the protein and the detergent, respectively. Protein-bound detergent amounted to 142 ± 10 mol/mol as determined by analytical ultracentrifugation. By using molecular modeling and starting from three distinct conformations of FhaC and its variant embedded in lipid bilayers, we generated ensembles of protein-detergent arrangement models with 120–160 detergent molecules. The scattered curves were back-calculated for each model and compared with experimental data. Good fits were obtained for relatively compact, connected detergent belts, which occasionally displayed small detergent-free patches on the outer surface of the β barrel. The combination of SANS and modeling clearly enabled us to infer the solution structure of FhaC, with H1 inside the pore as in the crystal structure. We believe that our strategy of combining explicit atomic detergent modeling with SANS measurements has significant potential for structural studies of other detergent-solubilized membrane proteins.  相似文献

Family studies have shown that in some populations up to 75% of the variation of body mass index can be explained by genetic factors. However, in humans, no major obesity gene has been identified to date. In contrast, there are a number of genetically well defined animal models for obesity. In two of those models (ob/ob and db/db), defects in the same pathway are responsible for obesity. Recently, some evidence has been found for the OB gene also being involved in human obesity. In this study we investigated the potential role of the OB receptor (OBR) in the etiology of massive obesity in humans using familial linkage analyses and case-control association studies. The typing of two microsatellite markers (D1S198 and D1S209), flanking the OBR gene, in 256 sib pairs showed no evidence for linkage with obesity. In order to be able to detect small gene effects, association studies with a 3′-UTR insertion/deletion polymorphism were carried out. The results of these analyses remained non-significant (χ2 = 3.442, P = 0.18). However, subjects heterozygous for the insertion/deletion polymorphism showed a slight trend towards lower insulin values 30 min after an oral glucose load compared to homozygous individuals (P = 0.02). In summary, our results do not support a major role of the human OBR gene in the development of morbid obesity in our population. Received: 4 December 1996 / Accepted: 25 June 1997  相似文献
