However, gastric acidsecretion obfuscates the tonometric measurement. We, therefore,investigated the option of measuringPCO2 in the esophagus to minimizethese restraints. Hemorrhagic shock was induced in five Sprague-Dawleyrats, and five rats served as sham controls.PgCO2 wasmeasured with an ion-sensitive field effect transistor that wassurgically implanted into the gastric wall. Esophageal luminalPCO2(PeCO2) wasmeasured by a second ion-sensitive field effect transistor sensor.During hemorrhagic shock, mean aortic pressure declined from 150 to 50 mmHg. Gastric blood flow decreased from 58 to 12 ml · min1 · 100 g1 (21% of preshock) andesophageal blood flow from 44 to 7 ml · min1 · 100 g1 (16% of preshock).PgCO2simultaneously increased from 47 to 116 Torr andPeCO2 from 47 to 127 Torr. The increases inPgCO2 werehighly correlated with increases inPeCO2(r = 0.90). Esophageal tonometry may,therefore, serve as a practical alternative to gastric tonometry.

本文以根盒试验与盆栽试验相结合的方法,研究了红壤性水稻土、淀浆白土、第四纪红土和赤红壤植稻后根际微生态系统中Si、Fe、Mn和Al等元素的状况及其与水稻生长的关系。结果表明,新垦红壤植稻后根际中活性Fe和Al富集;活性Mn量降低,但亏缺率小;活性Si则亏缺不明显,有时甚至富集。而熟化水稻土植稻后根际中活性Fe和Al则出现亏缺;Mn的亏缺较大,且差值明显;活性Si的亏缺现象更为显著。由于新垦红壤植稻后Fe和Al在根际微生态系统中富集,根茎叶中累积量较高,从而使Si、P和Mn等元素的吸收受阻,导致新垦红壤上水稻生长明显比熟化水稻土上的水稻要差。  相似文献

Ionic liquids (ILs) are a family of nonconventional molten salts that offer many advantages, such as negligible vapor pressures, negligible flammability, wide liquidus ranges, good thermal stability, and much synthesis flexibility. The unique solvation environment of these ILs provides new reaction or flux media for controlling formation of solid‐state materials with a minimum perturbation of morphologies. A successful lithiation via ionothermal synthesis using a cost‐effective Li halide as Li source and recyclable ILs as solvents is reported here for the direct recycling of LiNi1/3Co1/3Mn1/3O2 (NCM 111) cathodes. In addition, the ionic liquids can be readily recycled and reused after ionothermal lithiation. The lithiation of spent cathodes can enable the direct recycling of spent cathode materials in lithium‐ion batteries.  相似文献

目的利用速率区带密度梯度离心法建立纯化高纯度、高感染力衣原体的方法。方法采用HeLa229细胞扩增衣原体,制作含有大量衣原体的细胞裂解液,以国产复方泛影葡胺作为介质,利用速率区带密度梯度离心法纯化衣原体,负染纯化产物后使用透射电镜观察形态,并将纯化产物感染HeLa229细胞,测定纯化产物的感染力。结果在透射电镜下观察,证实纯化产物为直径300 nm左右的高纯度原体。纯化产物的感染力为8.62×10~8 IFU/mL,证实该纯化产物具有高感染力。结论通过复方泛影葡胺速率区带密度梯度离心法,可获得高纯度、高感染力的衣原体,为开展衣原体感染机制、免疫反应等研究提供了有效而可靠的保证。  相似文献

Growth differentiation factor 15 (GDF15), a direct target gene of p53, is a multifunctional member of the TGF-β/BMP superfamily. GDF15 can be induced and is implicated as a key secretory cytokine in response to multiple cellular stimuli. Accumulating evidence indicates that GDF15 is associated with the development and prognosis of diabetes mellitus, while whether GDF15 can be induced by high glucose is unknown. In the present study, we revealed that high glucose could induce GDF15 expression and secretion in cultured human umbilical vein endothelial cells in a ROS- and p53-dependent manner. Inhibition of high glucose-induced GDF15 expression by siRNA demonstrated that adaptively induced GDF15 played a protective role against high glucose-induced human umbilical vein endothelial cell apoptosis via maintaining the active state of PI3K/Akt/eNOS pathway and attenuating NF-κB/JNK pathway activation. The protective effects of GDF15 were probably achieved by inhibiting ROS overproduction in high glucose-treated human umbilical vein endothelial cells in a negative feedback manner. Our results suggest that high glucose can promote GDF15 expression and secretion in human umbilical vein endothelial cells, which in turn attenuates high glucose-induced endothelial cell apoptosis.  相似文献

Accuracy and diversity are two important aspects to evaluate the performance of recommender systems. Two diffusion-based methods were proposed respectively inspired by the mass diffusion (MD) and heat conduction (HC) processes on networks. It has been pointed out that MD has high recommendation accuracy yet low diversity, while HC succeeds in seeking out novel or niche items but with relatively low accuracy. The accuracy-diversity dilemma is a long-term challenge in recommender systems. To solve this problem, we introduced a background temperature by adding a ground user who connects to all the items in the user-item bipartite network. Performing the HC algorithm on the network with ground user (GHC), it showed that the accuracy can be largely improved while keeping the diversity. Furthermore, we proposed a weighted form of the ground user (WGHC) by assigning some weights to the newly added links between the ground user and the items. By turning the weight as a free parameter, an optimal value subject to the highest accuracy is obtained. Experimental results on three benchmark data sets showed that the WGHC outperforms the state-of-the-art method MD for both accuracy and diversity.  相似文献

Many proteins are composed of several domains that pack together into a complex tertiary structure. Multidomain proteins can be challenging for protein structure modeling, particularly those for which templates can be found for individual domains but not for the entire sequence. In such cases, homology modeling can generate high quality models of the domains but not for the orientations between domains. Small-angle X-ray scattering (SAXS) reports the structural properties of entire proteins and has the potential for guiding homology modeling of multidomain proteins. In this article, we describe a novel multidomain protein assembly modeling method, SAXSDom that integrates experimental knowledge from SAXS with probabilistic Input-Output Hidden Markov model to assemble the structures of individual domains together. Four SAXS-based scoring functions were developed and tested, and the method was evaluated on multidomain proteins from two public datasets. Incorporation of SAXS information improved the accuracy of domain assembly for 40 out of 46 critical assessment of protein structure prediction multidomain protein targets and 45 out of 73 multidomain protein targets from the ab initio domain assembly dataset. The results demonstrate that SAXS data can provide useful information to improve the accuracy of domain-domain assembly.
