Indicator weighting is an important issue in the measurement of tourism sustainability. Its importance derives from the fact that weights can have a significant effect on the rankings of analysed regions and subsequent policymaking. This is because relative indicator weights may significantly differ depending on the chosen weighting procedure. Relevant studies have however not paid particular attention to this issue so far, which is a gap this note aims to fill. An illustrative comparison of indicator weights from available studies further indicates potentially serious problems with some commonly used weighting procedures.  相似文献

Shetland ponies were selected for numerous traits including small stature, strength, hardiness and longevity. Despite the different selection criteria, Shetland ponies are well known for their small stature. We performed a selection signature analysis including genome‐wide SNPs of 75 Shetland ponies and 76 large‐sized horses. Based upon this dataset, we identified a selection signature on equine chromosome (ECA) 1 between 103.8 Mb and 108.5 Mb. A total of 33 annotated genes are located within this interval including the IGF1R gene at 104.2 Mb and the ADAMTS17 gene at 105.4 Mb. These two genes are well known to have a major impact on body height in numerous species including humans. Homozygosity mapping in the Shetland ponies identified a region with increased homozygosity between 107.4 Mb and 108.5 Mb. None of the annotated genes in this region have so far been associated with height. Thus, we cannot exclude the possibility that the identified selection signature on ECA1 is associated with some trait other than height, for which Shetland ponies were selected.  相似文献

The composite filler micro-embedded with Pseudomonas putida (P. putida) was prepared and the biodegradation performance of the filler was evaluated in a biofilter. Five phases were set up to evaluate the performance of the biofilter under different toluene inlet loadings and transient shock loadings. In particular, the microbial community structure in the biofilms and fillers was measured by sequence analysis of the 16S rRNA gene. The results show that the biofilter packed with the composite fillers was suitable for the biodegradation of toluene. The biofilter could start up quickly with high removal efficiency (RE), and remain above 90 % RE when the empty bed residence time (EBRT) was 18 s and the inlet loading rates were not higher than 41.4 g/(m3·h). Moreover, the biofilter could tolerate substantial transient shock loadings. The high removal efficiency and elimination capacity contributed to rich bacterial communities for the efficient degradation of toluene. The dominant microbial communities at the phylum level were mainly Firmicutes, Actinobacteria and Proteobacteria. It is noteworthy that the abundance of Bacteroidetes at phylum level and Chungangia and Stenotrophomonas at genus level increased significantly during the re-start period.  相似文献

目的探讨不同干预时机下复方嗜酸乳杆菌片联合四联疗法在首次根除幽门螺杆菌(H. pylori)失败患者补救治疗中的作用。方法选择西安市第一医院消化内科90例经标准四联疗法根除H. pylori失败的患者为研究对象,随机分为研究组A(A组)、研究组B(B组)与对照组(C组),各30例。A组患者使用复方嗜酸乳杆菌片联合补救四联疗法治疗。B组患者在补救四联疗法结束后序贯使用复方嗜酸乳杆菌片2周。C组患者单独采用补救四联疗法治疗。比较3组患者临床症状、不良反应发生率及H. pylori根除率。结果A组、B组、C组患者总有效率分别为93.33%(28/30),90.00%(27/30),66.67%(20/30),差异有统计学意义(χ2=9.120,P=0.010)。A组、B组、C组患者总不良反应发生率分别为13.33%(4/30)、16.67%(5/30)、66.67%(20/30),差异有统计学意义(χ2=24.522,P<0.001)。A组、B组、C组患者H. pylori根除率分别为60.00%(18/30)、63.33%(19/30)、33.33%(10/30),差异有统计学意义(χ2 =6.502,P=0.039)。A组与B组患者H. pylori根除率相比差异无统计学意义(χ2=0.071,P=0.791)。结论复方嗜酸乳杆菌片联合四联疗法可提高首次四联疗法根除H. pylori失败患者H. pylori根除率,改善患者临床症状,降低总体不良反应发生率,但不同干预时机下复方嗜酸乳杆菌片对H. pylori根除率无明显影响。  相似文献

Novel hybrid SiO2‐coated CdTe quantum dots (QDs) were created using CdTe QDs coated with a hybrid SiO2 shell containing Cd2+ ions and a sulfur source via a sol–gel process in aqueous solution. Aqueous CdTe QDs with tunable emitting color created through a reaction between cadmium chloride and sodium hydrogen telluride was used as cores for the preparation of hybrid SiO2‐coated CdTe QDs. In our experiments we found that the surface state of the cores and preparation conditions that affect the formation of the hybrid SiO2 shell also greatly affect photoluminescence of the hybrid SiO2‐coated CdTe QDs. The generation of CdS‐like clusters in the vicinity of the CdTe QDs, caused the quantum size effect of the QDs to be greatly reduced, which changes photoluminescence properties of the hybrid QDs fundamentally. Namely, the novel hybrid SiO2 shell played an important role in generating a series of specific optical properties. In addition, the novel hybrid SiO2 shell can be created if no CdTe QD is added. In order to gain an insight into the inter structure of the hybrid shell, we characterized the hybrid SiO2‐coated CdTe QDs using X‐ray diffraction analysis and discuss the formation mechanism of such a hybrid structure. This work is significant because the novel hybrid SiO2‐coated CdTe QDs with its excellent properties can be used in many applications, such as biolabeling and optoelectronic devices. Microwave-assisted synthetic techniques were used to quickly and reproducibly produce silica nanoparticle sols using an acid catalyst with nanoparticle diameters ranging from 30-250 nm by varying the reaction conditions. Through the selection of a microwave compatible solvent, silicic acid precursor, catalyst, and microwave irradiation time, these microwave-assisted methods were capable of overcoming the previously reported shortcomings associated with synthesis of silica nanoparticles using microwave reactors. The siloxane precursor was hydrolyzed using the acid catalyst, HCl. Acetone, a low-tan δ solvent, mediates the condensation reactions and has minimal interaction with the electromagnetic field. Condensation reactions begin when the silicic acid precursor couples with the microwave radiation, leading to silica nanoparticle sol formation. The silica nanoparticles were characterized by dynamic light scattering data and scanning electron microscopy, which show the materials'' morphology and size to be dependent on the reaction conditions. Microwave-assisted reactions produce silica nanoparticles with roughened textured surfaces that are atypical for silica sols produced by Stöber''s methods, which have smooth surfaces.  相似文献

In vivo animal model systems, and in particular mouse models, have evolved into powerful and versatile scientific tools indispensable to basic and translational research in the field of transplantation medicine. A vast array of reagents is available exclusively in this setting, including mono- and polyclonal antibodies for both diagnostic and interventional applications. In addition, a vast number of genotyped, inbred, transgenic, and knock out strains allow detailed investigation of the individual contributions of humoral and cellular components to the complex interplay of an immune response and make the mouse the gold standard for immunological research. Vascularized Composite Allotransplantation (VCA) delineates a novel field of transplantation using allografts to replace "like with like" in patients suffering traumatic or congenital tissue loss. This surgical methodological protocol shows the use of a non-suture cuff technique for super-microvascular anastomosis in an orthotopic mouse hind limb transplantation model. The model specifically allows for comparison between established paradigms in solid organ transplantation with a novel form of transplants consisting of various different tissue components. Uniquely, this model allows for the transplantation of a viable vascularized bone marrow compartment and niche that have the potential to exert a beneficial effect on the balance of immune acceptance and rejection. This technique provides a tool to investigate alloantigen recognition and allograft rejection and acceptance, as well as enables the pursuit of functional nerve regeneration studies to further advance this novel field of transplantation.  相似文献

为比较研究不同质粒针对不同乳酸茵的电转效率的差异,分别以乳酸乳球菌NZ9000、干酪乳杆菌LC2W和植物乳杆菌WCFS1三种乳酸菌为受体,以七种不同质粒为载体,进行电转实验.结果表明在乳酸乳球菌NZ9000中,转化效率最高的是pIB 184质粒,达到了1.53×107 cfg/μgDNA,在干酪乳杆菌LC2W中,pSIP403质粒的电转化效率最高,达到了6.42×105 cfg/μgDNA,在植物乳杆菌WCFS1的电转化中,是pNZ44质粒达到8.68×105 cfg/μgDNA的最高转化效率.其中质粒pIB184和pNZ44在三种菌株中均有较高的电转化效率,超过了103 cfg/μgDNA,另一方面T-pAMS100、pSIP403、pSIP409三个质粒在干酪乳杆菌与植物乳杆菌中的电转化效率明显高于乳酸乳球菌.不同质粒针对不同乳酸茵的转化效率为乳酸茵的高效电转和表达栽体的选择与构建提供了可行依据.  相似文献

Despite advances in cryobiology, the reliable cryopreservation of complex tissues has not yet been achieved. This study evaluates the viability of cryopreserved composite flaps and demonstrates the feasibility of their transplantation. Epigastric flaps were harvested from male Lewis rats. 1.5 M dimethyl sulfoxide (Me2SO) was used as the initial cryoprotectant agent (CPA). Samples were frozen at controlled rate to −140 °C and transferred to liquid nitrogen for at least two weeks. Hematoxylin and eosin (H/E) staining, MTT tetrazolium salt assay, and factor VIII immunostaining were used to evaluate the overall histology, epithelial viability, and vascular endothelial integrity, respectively, of cryopreserved flaps. For the in vivo phase, flaps were isotransplanted to 35 recipient animals, divided into three groups: fresh (n = 10), perfused (n = 8), and cryopreserved (n = 17). Blood vessel patency was assessed via Doppler at 1, 7, and 60 days post-transplantation. For in vitro studies, cryopreserved samples (10/10) retained normal cell architecture and vascular endothelial integrity upon H/E and factor VIII staining. The viability index of cryopreserved composite flap skin (n = 10) was 11.17 ± 2.01, which was not significantly different from fresh controls (n = 10, 12.15 ± 1.32). All transplanted flaps in the fresh and perfusion groups survived with healthy color and hair growth at 60 days after operation. Survival in the cryopreserved group ranged from 2 to 60 days, with a mean of 12 days. These results demonstrate that the long term survival of cryopreserved composite tissue transplants is possible. Further studies are needed to refine protocols for the reliable cryopreservation of composite parts.  相似文献

Ichnological analysis of Eocene deep-pelagic whitish chalky calcilutites interstratified with high-energy calcarenite beds in the lower part of the Petra Tou Romiou section (southern Cyprus) was conducted to interpret the development and evolution of the trace maker associations during calcilutite deposition after high-energy episodes. The trace fossil assemblage from the chalky calcilutites consists of Chondrites isp. (Chondrites intricatus and Chondrites targionii), Planolites isp., Taenidium isp., Thalassinoides isp., and Zoophycos isp., typical of the Zoophycos ichnofacies. A composite chalky ichnofabric reveals a multi-tiered association of burrowing animals: the uppermost tier determines a mottled background, the upper tier shows the highest trace fossil abundance and diversity (Planolites, Taenidium and Thalassinoides), the middle tier features Zoophycos and large Chondrites, and the deepest tier consists mainly/exclusively of small Chondrites. This ichnofabric has an autocomposite character, associated with bioturbation by a single ichnocoenosis and gradual upward migration of the tiered macrobenthic community as the pelagic calcilutite sedimentation slowly progresses. There are no changes in the trace fossil assemblage between or within calcilutite intervals, regardless of the associated calcarenite beds. This supports a stable, mature, background calcilutite trace maker association, which recovers shortly after the deposition of high-energy calcarenites. In turn, there would have been a rapid re-establishment of paleoenvironmental conditions during pelagic calcilutite accumulation after episodic deposition of any calcarenitic material.  相似文献
