Two pathogenic microorganisms Escherichia coli O157:H7 and Staphylococcus aureus, suspended in peptone solution (0.1% w/v) were treated with 12, 14, 16 and 20 kV/cm electric field strengths with different pulse numbers up to 60 pulses. Pulsed electric field (PEF) treatment at 20 kV/cm with 60 pulses provided nearly 2 log reduction in viable cell counts of E. coli O157:H7 and S. aureus. S. aureus cells were slightly more resistant than E.coli O157:H7 cells. The results related to the effect of initial cell concentration of E. coli O157:H7 on the PEF inactivation showed that more inactivation was obtained by decreasing initial cell concentration. Any possible injury by PEF was also investigated after applying 20 kV/cm electric field to the microorganisms. As a result, it was determined that there was 35.92 to 43.36% injury in E. coli O157:H7 cells, and 17.26 to 30.86% injury in S. aureus cells depending on pulse number. 了解泌尿外科住院患者泌尿系感染病原菌的分布及其对常用抗菌药物的耐药情况。对泌尿外科泌尿系感染住院患者的消毒中段尿培养结果进行回顾性分析,尿培养菌株的鉴定、药敏分析和统计分析采用VITEK2全自动微生物仪。3 a中泌尿外科泌尿系感染住院患者共分离到细菌1 233株,其中革兰阴性杆菌772株,占62.61%,革兰阳性球菌353株,占28.63%,真菌82株,占6.65%。菌株数居前5位的细菌依次为:大肠埃希菌、肠球菌属、洋葱伯克霍尔德菌、假丝酵母菌属和变形杆菌。分离大肠埃希菌产ESBLs率为66.18%,粪肠球菌中未发现VRE菌株,屎肠球菌VRE为0.8%。未发现对美洛培南耐药的大肠埃希菌,对肠埃希菌耐药率在10%以下的有亚胺培南、阿米卡星、哌拉西林/他唑巴坦和呋喃妥因。洋葱伯克霍尔德菌和铜绿假单胞菌对所监测的抗菌药物均有不同程度的耐药。未发现对万古霉素、替考拉宁及氨苄西林耐药的粪肠球菌。泌尿系感染的病原菌以大肠埃希菌和肠球菌为主,非发酵革兰阴性杆菌及假丝酵母菌所占比例超过20%,不容忽视,病原菌的耐药率较高,临床医生应根据尿培养和药敏试验结果合理使用抗菌药物。 相似文献

以感染内生真菌的天然禾草羊草为实验材料,通过体外纯培养条件下的内生真菌、感染内生真菌的离体叶片和在体叶片对3种病原菌的抑菌实验,以探讨内生真菌对宿主植物羊草在抗病性方面的贡献。结果表明:体外纯培养条件下,分离自羊草的内生真菌Epichlobromicola对新月弯孢(Curvularia lunata)、根腐离蠕孢(Bipolaris sorokiniana)和枝孢霉(Cladosporium sp.)这3种病原菌都具有抑制作用,抑菌率分别达56.22%,46.93%和45.15%,且内生真菌培养滤液可以有效抑制这3种病原菌的孢子萌发,平均萌发率分别为30.4%,15.7%和16.4%;宿主植物叶片在离体条件下,内生真菌感染可以有效降低羊草叶片受C.lunata和C.sp.侵染后的病斑数或病斑长度,但对B.sorokiniana不起作用,甚至提高了叶片的病斑数及病斑长度,而离体叶片提取液对不同病原菌均有不同程度的抑制作用;在体条件下,内生真菌均可以通过降低叶片病斑数来增强羊草植株对这3种病原菌的抗性。由此看来,内生真菌E.bromicola对宿主植物羊草在抗病原菌侵染方面有一定的增益作用。 相似文献

Through a 1-year monitoring of enteroviruses and pathogenic bacteria in the secondary effluent using real-time polymerase chain reaction (real-time PCR), the pathogen removal requirement was evaluated for safeguarding the reclaimed water quality for urban reuse. The distribution of each pathogen in the secondary effluent was found to follow a log-normal relationship, although 50% cumulative concentrations differed much from each other (1.4 GEC/L of infectious enteroviruses, 3.1 × 102 CFU/L of Salmonella typhi, 1.0 × 103 CFU/L of Shigella, and 3.3 × 105 CFU/L of Escherichia coli). By exposure analysis regarding two reuse scenarios (golf course irrigation and recreational impoundment), risks were analyzed for pathogens in reused water based on monitoring data and dose–response relation. For enteroviruses and pathogenic bacteria, there were obvious differences in the relationship between the reliability and removal efficiency. Under an acceptable annual risk level (10–4/a), the pathogen removal requirement depends on the manner of water reuse. In the golf course irrigation, the removal efficiency of enteroviruses, Salmonella typhi, Shigella, and Escherichia coli reach to 3.8~4.0-log, 1.4-log, 3.3-log, and 2.0-log, respectively, in order to ensure 95% reliability. However, if wastewater is reused for recreational impoundment, only a further increase around 1.5-log removal efficiency of pathogens can meet the requirement for the same reliability. 相似文献

Black cumin seed oil (BCSO) was tested for its inhibitory effect against some pathogenic bacteria (Staphylococcus aureus ATCC 6538, Escherichia coli ATCC 8739, Listeria monocytogenes Scott A and Salmonella enteritidis PT4) in Domiati cheese during cold storage. Physical, chemical and sensorial changes in cheese during storage were recorded. Pasteurized milk was inoculated before renneting with a mixed culture of bacteria at ca. 4 log CFU mL−1. In vitro and in situ supplementation with BCSO showed antimicrobial impact on the growth of S. aureus, E. coli, L. monocytogenes and S. enteritidis inoculated into media and cheese samples. Supplementing of cheese with BCSO (0.1% or 0.2%, w/w) significantly reduced the counts of the inoculated pathogens by ca. 1.3 log and 1.5 log CFU g−1 after 21 days of storage. In addition, BCSO controlled the development of titratable acidity, limited the changes in ripening indices, flavor components and kept considerable physicochemical and sensorial properties of cheese. 相似文献
