The present paper provides a taxonomic revision of the genus Fecenia with emphasis on the characteristics of the pre-epigynes which are integrated for the first time into an identification key. As a result, one species is revalidated, Fecenia protensa Thorell, 1891, stat. n., and two new junior synonyms for Fecenia protensa are recognised: Fecenia sumatrana Kulczyński, 1908, syn. n. and Fecenia nicobarensis (Tikader, 1977), syn. n. New records are reported: Fecenia ochracea (Doleschall, 1859)from Malaysian Borneo, Fecenia macilenta (Simon, 1885) from Sumatra, Indonesia, Fecenia protensa from Thailand and Malaysia, Fecenia travancoria Pocock, 1899 from Sri Lanka and Thailand, and Fecenia cylindrata Thorell, 1895 from Thailand and Laos. Additional information on the biology of Fecenia is provided and the validity of characters for identifying Fecenia species is discussed.  相似文献

空心莲子草营养器官结构与三萜皂苷动态积累的关系   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
采用组织化学定位、显微制片技术和三萜皂苷定量分析方法对空心莲子草营养器官结构与三萜皂苷类物质积累关系进行了研究。结果表明:空心莲子草宿根、根状茎、茎和叶中均有三萜皂苷物质的积累,叶和根状茎内含量十分丰富。在相同采收期内含量依次为:叶>根状茎>根>茎,叶中主要积累于栅栏组织细胞内。空心莲子草的根和根状茎横切面均属于异常结构,具有成同心环状排列的三生维管束。在宿根和根状茎的次生韧皮部、栓内层、三生韧皮部和结合组织内均有三萜皂苷的分布,三生结构在宿根和根状茎中占有主要地位,是三萜皂苷积累的主要场所。在不同采收期内叶、根状茎和根中三萜皂苷的积累趋势基本一致,均随生长期的增加而递增。空心莲子草茎的横切面由表皮、皮层、维管束和髓腔组成,仅部分皮层细胞和初生韧皮部内有三萜皂苷分布。  相似文献

A pair of spherical unpigmented ocelli in addition to pigmented eyes have been observed in the anterior part of the prostomium in larvae of more than 40 species of Spionidae examined alive with light microscopy. Ocelli become visible in larvae at the one- to three-segment stage, increase in size as growth proceeds, and probably disintegrate in the course of metamorphosis because they were not observed in adults and settled juveniles. One pair of transparent, spherical bodies is also found in the anterior part of the head of planktotrophic pelagosphera larvae of Sipuncula. These bodies are in a similar position and have a similar appearance and size to unpigmented ocelli in Spionidae larvae. A pair of epidermal invaginations, densely covered with short cilia, is also observed antero-laterally in the head in pelagospheras of one species. These invaginations appear similar to the nuchal organs present in many polychaete larvae. Photoreceptive organs so far reported for sipunculan larvae comprise only pigmented eyes. Unpigmented ocelli and nuchal organs have never been reported in pelagospheras. Further ultrastructural investigations on sipunculan larvae are encouraged to clarify the composition, function and morphogenesis of transparent, spherical bodies and ciliated invaginations in the anterior part of the head. Such investigations may help to better understand the nature of photoreceptive structures and nuchal organs in Sipuncula, and also contribute to phylogenetic hypotheses regarding relationships of the Sipuncula and Annelida.  相似文献

Gravitaxis in Drosophila melanogaster: a forward genetic screen   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
Perception of the earth's gravitational force is essential for most forms of animal life. However, little is known of the molecular mechanisms and neuronal circuitry underlying gravitational responses. A forward genetic screen using Drosophila melanogaster that provides insight into these characteristics is described here. Vertical choice mazes combined with additional behavioral assays were used to identify mutants specifically affected in gravitaxic responses. Twenty-three mutants were selected for molecular analysis. As a result, 18 candidate genes are now implicated in the gravitaxic behavior of flies. Many of these genes have orthologs across the animal kingdom, while some are more specific to Drosophila and invertebrates. One gene (yuri) located close to a known locus for gravitaxis has been the subject of more extensive analysis including confirmation by transgenic rescue.  相似文献

通过石蜡切片的方法对巨龙竹生殖器官结构、大小孢子的发生和雌、雄配子体的发育过程进行了观察研究。 巨龙竹为一心皮组成的单室单子房,子房内具有一个胚珠,倒生、双珠被、厚珠心。大孢子母细胞减数分裂形成线形排列的4个大孢子,合点端大孢子具功能。胚囊的发育为蓼型,具多个反足细胞。巨龙竹的花药壁由4层结构组成,包括表皮、药室内壁、中层、绒毡层;花药壁发育为单子叶型,绒毡层为腺质型。小孢子母细胞减数分裂中的胞质分裂为连续型,四分孢子为四面体型;成熟花粉粒为2细胞型,具1个萌发孔。小穗发育雌雄异熟,雌蕊的发育早于雄蕊的发育。  相似文献

As a representative fossil member of the dipteridaceous fern, genus Hausmannia was reported worldwide from the Mesozoic strata; however, little is known about the fertile structures, including sporangia and in situ spores, of this genus. In this study, a new species Hausmannia sinensis was identified from the Middle Jurassic of Nei Mongol (Inner Mongolia), northern China. The specimens are compressions and are well preserved with details of sporangia and in situ spores. The leaf laminae are broadly fan-shaped, with an almost entire margin. Primary and lateral veins dichotomously branch to form square or polygonal meshes. Each ultimate mesh bears one to two circular sori of 0.4 mm in diameter. Sori are exindusiate; each sorus contains three to six round to ovoid sporangia. The annulus is developed and oblique, with stomial region present in proximal position. Spores are trilete, circular to oval in shape. Both proximal and distal surfaces are covered with baculate to subverrucate sculptures. Spores range from 20 to 30 μm in diameter (average 28 μm), and are comparable to the dispersed genera Baculatisporites Thomas and Pflug and Apiculatisporis Potonié and Kremp. Hausmannia sinensis represents the first compression species of genus Hausmannia form Eurasia, which shows the combination of well-preserved sori, sporangia, annuli and in situ spore characters, and is therefore helpful for further understanding the diversity and evolution of the Dipteridaceae fern lineage through time.  相似文献

The anterior segments of cyclorraphous Diptera larvae bear various sense organs: the dorsal- and terminal organ located on the cephalic lobes, the ventral- and labial organs associated with the mouthplate and the internal labral organ which lies on the dorsal surface of the esophagus. The sense organs are connected to the brain via the antennal nerve (dorsal- and labral organ) or the maxillary nerve (terminal-, ventral-, labial organ). Although their ultrastructure suggests also a mechanosensory function only their response to olfactory and gustatory stimuli has been investigated electrophysiologically. Here we stimulated the individual organs with step-, ramp-, and sinusoidal stimuli of different amplitude while extracellulary recording their afferents from the respective nerves. The external organs show a threshold of approximately 2 μm. All organs responded phasically and did not habituate to repetitive stimuli. The low threshold of the external organs combined with their rhythmically exposure to the substrate suggested a putative role in the temporal coordination of feeding. We therefore repetitively stimulated individual organs while simultaneously monitoring the centrally generated motor pattern for food ingestion. Neither the dorsal-, terminal- or ventral organ afferents had an obvious effect on the ongoing motor rhythm. Various reasons explaining these results are discussed.  相似文献

Background

Although non-heart-beating donors have the potential to increase the number of available organs, the livers are used very seldom because of the risk of primary non-function. There is evidence that machine perfusion is able to improve the preservation of marginal organs, and therefore we evaluated in our study the influence of the perfusate temperature during oxygenated machine perfusion on the graft quality.

Methods

Livers from male Wistar rats were harvested after 60-min warm ischemia induced by cardiac arrest. The portal vein was cannulated and the liver flushed with Lifor® (Lifeblood Medical, Inc.) organ preservation solution for oxygenated machine perfusion (MP) at 4, 12 or 21 °C. Other livers were flushed with HTK and stored at 4 °C by conventional cold storage (4 °C-CS). Furthermore two groups with either warm ischemic damage only or without any ischemic damage serve as control groups. After 6 h of either machine perfusion or cold storage all livers were normothermic reperfused with Krebs–Henseleit buffer, and functional as well as structural data were analyzed.

Results

Contrary to livers stored by static cold storage, machine perfused livers showed independently of the perfusate temperature a significantly decreased enzyme release of hepatic transaminases (ALT) during isolated reperfusion. Increasing the machine perfusion temperature to 21 °C resulted in a marked reduction of portal venous resistance and an increased bile production.

Conclusions

Oxygenated machine perfusion improves viability of livers after prolonged warm ischemic damage. Elevated perfusion temperature of 21 °C reconstitutes the hepatic functional capacity better than perfusion at 4 or 12 °C.  相似文献
