北京城区行道树国槐叶面尘分布及重金属污染特征   总被引:6,自引:0,他引:6

叶面尘分布范围广、累积时间长,能够较好地指示近地面大气颗粒物污染特征和累积状况。为揭示城市道路交通的大气颗粒物污染特征,研究了北京城区不同类型道路两侧行道树国槐(Sophora japonica)的叶面滞尘量,分析了叶面尘主要重金属的浓度和污染特征,采用相关分析和主成分分析法探讨了颗粒物重金属的主要来源。结果表明:国槐叶面滞尘量在快速路、主干路、次干路、支路上的比值为100∶84∶75∶75,受车流量影响较大。行道树国槐的平均叶面滞尘量为0.68 g/m2,庭院树国槐(远离交通)叶面滞尘量是0.51 g/m2,两者差异显著。行道树叶面尘重金属元素Cu、Zn、Pb在叶面尘中的浓度达到土壤背景值的6倍,空间分布较均匀,主要来自交通排放,庭院树叶面尘重金属污染也受到交通排放的重要影响。  相似文献

Comparison of Source Identification of Metals in Road-Dust and Soil   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
Source identification of toxic metals is very critical for pollution prevention and human health protection. Many studies only use either road dust metal data or soil metal data to evaluate metal contamination and identify pollution sources, and this may lead to the exclusion of some important information. In this study, the differences of metal spatial distribution and source identification between road dust and associated soil in an industrial area were investigated.

Results indicate the metal concentrations in road dust were generally higher than those in soil. Based on the average concentrations, the order for dust metal concentrations was Fe>>Zn>>Pb>Cu>Cr>Ni. The order for soil metal concentrations was slightly different, namely Fe>>Zn>>Cu~Pb>Ni>Cr. The spatial distributions of metals in the road dust were very different from those in the soil, except for Fe. The GIS results indicate that elevated levels of Fe, Zn, and Pb were present in road dust near a steel plant. High concentrations of Cu, Cr, and Ni appeared at a road intersection. Elevated metal concentrations of Fe, Zn, Pb, Cu, and Cr were present in soil around the steel plant. A coal-fired power plant did not seem to be a significant metal source in this study. Significant correlations for dust metals imply that these were well mixed in the study area. The metal sources identified by PCA with soil metal data were obviously different from those identified with road dust metal data. When road dust metal data were used, the changes of PCA analyzed areas slightly influenced the source identification. The PCA results were obviously influenced by changes of analyzed areas when soil metal data were used.  相似文献

The relationships between metal contents in soil, road dust, and rice, and in human hair from a rural area of China were observed for Cr, Cu, Mn, Ni, Pb, and Zn. The results showed that the mean concentrations of Mn in human hair were higher than the highest reference value. The concentrations of Cr, Cu, Ni, and Zn in soil and road dust were usually higher than their background values. The enrichment factors indicated that the determined metals in soil and road dust were usually derived from natural sources. Chromium, Pb, and Zn in soils and road dusts from several sites were slightly influenced by anthropogenic sources. The regression analyses showed that positive relationships usually exist between the concentrations of the determined metals in rice and in human hair as well as in soil and in human hair. However, relationships between metal concentrations in road dust and in human hair were less obvious. The study demonstrated that human hair was an applicable biomonitor of metal concentrations in rice, soil, and road dust from a rural area in China. Metal concentrations in local human hair could be used to predict contamination levels of metals in rice and soil.  相似文献

Three wild Tagetes minuta accessions were collected from Buenos Aires, Mendoza, and Salta provinces in Argentina and were grown in the same environment to study the concentration and composition of root thiophenes, and the production of aerial biomass. The accessions showed quantitative, but not qualitative differences in thiophenes. Five thiophenes were identified. In the Buenos Aires and Salta accessions, concentrations of total thiophenes were independent of changes in aerial biomass production, but in the Mendoza accession we found a positive correlation between total thiophenes and aerial biomass. In the Mendoza accession we observed dramatic changes in the concentration of thiophenes between years. The composition of thiophenes in the Salta and Mendoza accessions was characterized by low concentrations of BBT and α-T and high concentrations of BBTOH, whereas thiophenes in the Mendoza accession had a higher concentration of BBTOH than did the Buenos Aires accession.  相似文献

This paper studies the migration pathways and ranges of a dominant detritivorous fish Prochilodus lineatus along pollution gradients in the Río de la Plata basin using multivariate analysis of biochemical and pollutant data. Biochemical composition (water, ash, lipids, proteins, carbohydrates, neutral lipids classes and fatty acids), aliphatic hydrocarbons (ALI), polychlorinated biphenyls (PCB), linear alkylbenzenes (LAB) and organochlorine pesticides (OClP) were determined in muscle samples of P. lineatus collected in Metropolitan Buenos Aires, the lower Paraná River (Paraná: 200-1000 km from Buenos Aires) and the middle Paraná and Paraguay Rivers (North: 1000-1400 km north). Biochemical variables and pollutants exhibited large variability [Lipids 1.1-89.5% wet mass; ALI 1.4-413; LABs not detectable (n.d.)-115.2; PCBs n.d.-27.9; OClPs n.d.-11.8 μg g(-1) dry mass], due to the contrast of Buenos Aires with North fish. Fish from Buenos Aires were fatty (lipids 24.7 ± 12.3% wet mass), enriched in 18 carbon fatty acids and severely contaminated (ALI 152.4 ± 72.3; LABs 65.1 ± 26.4; PCBs 15.2 ± 6.8; OClPs 1.8 ± 1.9 μg g(-1) dry mass mean ±S.D.). In contrast, fish from North were lean (4.1 ± 3.1% wet mass), enriched in long chain (>20 carbons) polyunsaturated fatty acids, with average one to two orders of magnitude lower pollutant levels (ALI 41.2 ± 51.9; PCBs 2.2 ± 3.5; LABs 8.8 ± 21.1; OClPs 0.67 ± 0.75 μg g(-1) dry mass mean ±S.D.). Paraná showed intermediate values in all variables, denoting the mixing of different fish stocks. Based on principal component analysis, 14 outliers from 60 North and Paraná samples (representing 26 from 108 individual fish) were identified as pertaining to the Buenos Aires group with very similar lipid and pollutant levels. Data suggest that P. lineatus migrates a highly variable distance, exceeding 800-1000 km in multiple spatial and temporal overlapping ranges. Chemometric analysis of biochemical and pollutant data effectively discriminates fish according to the chemical signature acquired by detritus feeding in pristine and contaminated urban or industrial areas.  相似文献

Abstract:The lichen composition on wayside Quercus robur in the Netherlands was related to bark properties (pH, EC, NH4+, SO42−, NO3) and levels of air pollution (SO2and NH3). The pH of the bark and the susceptibility to toxic substances appear to be the two major primary factors affecting epiphytic lichen composition. These factors have independent effects on the lichen composition. Most of the so-called nitrophytic species appear to have a low sensitivity to toxic effects of SO2; their only requirement being a high bark pH. An increased bark pH appears to be the primary cause of the enormous increase in nitrophytic species and the disappearance of acidophytic species over the last decade in the Netherlands. Measurements of ambient NH3concentrations in air show that there is a nearly linear relationship between the NH3concentration and the abundance of nitrophytes on Quercus. The abundance of nitrophytes was not correlated with SO2concentrations. Most of the acidophytic species appear very sensitive to NH3since in areas with concentrations of 35 μg m−3or more, all acidophytic species have disappeared. Current methods using species diversity to estimate or monitor SO2air pollution need some modification, otherwise the air quality may be erroneously considered to be relatively good in areas with high NH3levels.  相似文献

城市住宅区是人类活动的重要场所,与居民的日常生活紧密相关。为了解沈阳市住宅区小区与街道灰尘中重金属污染的空间分布,采集了不同住宅区小区与街道的灰尘样品,分析了灰尘中重金属的含量,并使用富集因子和地累积指数评估了其污染程度。结果表明,沈阳市灰尘中重金属Cr、Cd、Cu、Pb和Zn的平均含量均超过辽宁省表层土壤元素背景值。单因素方差分析表明,街道灰尘中重金属Cu、Fe、Mn和Zn的空间分布具有显著性差异,而小区灰尘中重金属Cd、Cr、Fe、Mn和Pb在空间上具有显著性差异。重金属Cd、Zn和Pb的平均污染水平较高,其中小区内Cd和Zn的污染程度高于街道。沈阳市不同方位住宅区灰尘中重金属的污染水平介于轻度污染至中度污染之间。  相似文献

Background

The estimated prevalence of HCV infection in Argentina is around 2%. However, higher rates of infection have been described in population studies of small urban and rural communities. The aim of this work was to compare the origin and diversification of HCV-1b in samples from two different epidemiological scenarios: Buenos Aires, a large cosmopolitan city, and O''Brien, a small rural town with a high prevalence of HCV infection.

Patients and Methods

The E1/E2 and NS5B regions of the viral genome from 83 patients infected with HCV-1b were sequenced. Phylogenetic analysis and Bayesian Coalescent methods were used to study the origin and diversification of HCV-1b in both patient populations.

Results

Samples from Buenos Aires showed a polyphyletic behavior with a tMRCA around 1887–1900 and a time of spread of infection approximately 60 years ago. In contrast, samples from ÓBrien showed a monophyletic behavior with a tMRCA around 1950–1960 and a time of spread of infection more recent than in Buenos Aires, around 20–30 years ago.

Conclusion

Phylogenetic and coalescence analysis revealed a different behavior in the epidemiological histories of Buenos Aires and ÓBrien. HCV infection in Buenos Aires shows a polyphyletic behavior and an exponential growth in two phases, whereas that in O''Brien shows a monophyletic cluster and an exponential growth in one single step with a more recent tMRCA. The polyphyletic origin and the probability of encountering susceptible individuals in a large cosmopolitan city like Buenos Aires are in agreement with a longer period of expansion. In contrast, in less populated areas such as O''Brien, the chances of HCV transmission are strongly restricted. Furthermore, the monophyletic character and the most recent time of emergence suggest that different HCV-1b ancestors (variants) that were in expansion in Buenos Aires had the opportunity to colonize and expand in O’Brien.  相似文献

The distribution of Aedes aegypti (L) (Diptera: Culicidae) oviposition in Buenos Aires City is spatially heterogeneous. Oviposition activity was monitored for a year with a grid of 279 traps at 850-m intervals that were serviced weekly. Geostatistics were used for the spatial analysis and generalized linear regression to model oviposition as a function of demographic and environmental variables. The proportion of weeks infested and the total number of eggs showed spatial continuity and were higher in areas that had higher densities of houses and were closer to industrial sites; they were lower in areas with higher human populations or higher densities of flats. When all sites were considered, the spatial structure showed a strong trend, but after regression, the residuals presented lower spatial dependence. When only infested sites were considered, the oviposition variables were spatially autocorrelated and the regression residuals showed little or no spatial dependence. The spatial pattern of Ae. aegypti oviposition in a highly urbanized city such as Buenos Aires seems to be related to the urbanization gradient. These urban environments might present different resource availability or continuity between patches of resources.  相似文献

Environmental health is an essential component of quality of life in modern societies. Foliar dust contains polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) that may have harmful effects on human health. The PAHs concentration of foliar dust is useful to assess environmental air pollution. Our results indicate that: (1) the highest levels of PAHs were distributed in urban areas, with a mean of 3430.23 ng·g?1, lower mean concentrations were found in suburban (2282.12 ng·g?1), and rural areas (1671.06 ng·g?1). (2) Diagnostic ratios and principal component analysis were used to identify the sources of PAHs: Gasoline vehicle traffic emissions were the predominant source in urban areas, along with coal and coke combustion. In suburban areas, the main sources were petroleum combustion (especially liquid fossil fuels) and coal combustion. Coal and wood combustion were the primary source of PAHs in foliar dust in rural areas. (3) The incremental lifetime cancer risk (ILCR), estimated based on the results of this study indicate that urban residents were potentially exposed to high cancer risk via both dust ingestion and dermal contact. We conclude that urbanization has significant effects on the PAH concentrations of foliar dust, illustrating the importance of trees in improving air quality in urban areas.  相似文献

大气降尘是矿区土壤重金属的主要来源,而生物结皮对大气降尘重金属有显著的富集作用。为探究不同类型生物结皮对大气降尘重金属的富集规律及其影响因子,选取宁东典型火电厂周边生物结皮广布区作为试验样地,3类生物结皮作为研究对象,并以临近裸土作为对照,对比分析了生物结皮富集大气降尘过程中土壤理化性质、酶活性及重金属含量的变化,采用相关分析、冗余分析和方差分解方法探讨了不同类型生物结皮的结皮层(A层)和层下土壤(B层)重金属含量与其土壤物理、化学性质及酶活性之间的关系。结果表明:燃煤烟尘是矿区大气降尘重金属污染的主要来源,涉及重金属元素包括Cd、Cr、Hg、Pb、Zn、As。生物结皮对源自大气降尘的重金属元素均具有显著的富集作用,且在不同演替阶段生物结皮间的富集规律完全一致:藓结皮>混生结皮>藻结皮;重金属综合污染指数评价结果显示:生物结皮对重金属具有表层富集效应,表现为A层污染程度高于B层。不同类型生物结皮A、B层综合污染指数存在显著差异,排序为:藓结皮>混生结皮>藻结皮;和对照相比,三类生物结皮均能通过富集大气降尘增加其A、B层养分和细颗粒物含量并改善土壤质地。方差分解结...  相似文献

To understand the mercury (Hg) pollution characteristics and health risks in indoor and outdoor dust of Huainan residential areas, 122 dust samples were collected indoors and outdoors. Average Hg contents in indoor and outdoor dusts of Huainan city were 0.321 ± 0.724 (n = 61) and 0.072 ± 0.163 (n = 61) mg/kg respectively. The average Hg content in indoor dust was characterized by PJ (Panji district) > XJJ (Xiejiaji district) > DT (Datong district) > TJA (Tianjiaan district), and in the order of PJ > DT > XJJ >TJA in outdoor dust. According to enrichment factor and geo-accumulation index, the enrichment degree and pollution intensity for Hg are ranked as “very high enrichment” and “heavily polluted” in indoor dust, and “significant enrichment” and “moderately polluted” in outdoor dust Hg concentrations in indoor dust were highly significantly associated with the coal combustion and frequency of open windows, and Hg concentrations in outdoor dust were significantly associated with the coal combustion and traffic density. The inhalation of Hg vapor is the main route of Hg exposure to adult and children. The hazard risks of Hg for different exposure ways in indoor and outdoor dust were more risk for children than for adults, but have no obvious health risk for them.  相似文献

The population of Argentina today does not have a “visible” black African component. However, censuses conducted during most of the 19th century registered up to 30% of individuals of African origin living in Buenos Aires city. What has happened to this African influence? Have all individuals of African origin died, as lay people believe? Or is it possible that admixture with the European immigrants made the African influence “invisible?” We investigated the African contribution to the genetic pool of the population of Buenos Aires, Argentina, typing 12 unlinked autosomal DNA markers in a sample of 90 individuals. The results of this analysis suggest that 2.2% (SEM = 0.9%) of the genetic ancestry of the Buenos Aires population is derived from Africa. Our analysis of individual admixture shows that those alleles that have a high frequency in populations of African origin tend to concentrate among 8 individuals in our sample. Therefore, although the admixture estimate is relatively low, the actual proportion of individuals with at least some African influence is approximately 10%. The evidence we are presenting of African ancestry is consistent with the known historical events that led to the drastic reduction of the Afro‐Argentine population during the second half of the 19th century. However, as our results suggest, this reduction did not mean a total disappearance of African genes from the genetic pool of the Buenos Aires population. The increase of human population, especially in urban areas, correlates with an alarming destruction of green spaces. Therefore, understanding the mechanisms by which urbanization processes affect biodiversity is crucial in integrating the environment in a proper urban planning. The main urban center of Argentina is known as the Greater Buenos Aires (GBA), and it includes the autonomous city of Buenos Aires and 24 surrounding districts. Avellaneda, one of the districts of the GBA, is an important urban and industrial center with green areas and low level of urbanization on the coastal area of the Río de la Plata. This paper provides the first Odonata inventory for Avellaneda, determines the species’ level of synanthropy with the Nuorteva index, and assess the Odonata species replacement along a latitudinal gradient on the occidental margin of the Río de la Plata.  相似文献

In this study the first length–weight relationships are provided for Helcogrammoides cunninghami and Ribeiroclinus eigenmanni inhabiting subtidal rocky areas in northern Patagonia, and for Hypleurochilus fissicornis inhabiting intertidal rocky areas in Buenos Aires Province. Specimens were collected between 2009 and 2016, from seven different locations in northern Patagonia and Buenos Aires Province (Southwest Atlantic Coast; 37°–42°S), using a trawling dredge or a small hand net. New maximum lengths were recorded for R. eigenmanni and H. fissicornis.  相似文献

该研究选取杭州市2个污染区常见的6种绿化树种叶片作为材料,以清洁区为对照,采用电感耦合等离子体发射光谱法,测定受试树种叶内及对应样点降尘、土壤中Pb、Cd、Cr、Cu、Ni和Zn的含量,分析叶片的吸污能力以及重金属含量与土壤、降尘的相关性。结果表明:(1)污染区树种重金属含量明显高于对照区,绿化树种对环境重金属污染物有一定的吸收能力,重金属含量在不同的树种中具有明显差异;所测树种叶内Zn含量最大,Pb次之,Cd最小,指示能力则以枸骨(Ilex cornuta)对Cd和Pb、圆柏(Juniperus chinensis)对Cu、茶花(Camellia japonica)对Ni、广玉兰(Magnolia grandiflora)对Zn为最强。(2)3个样点树种叶片与对应样点土壤、降尘中重金属元素含量的相关性分析和回归分析表明,叶片重金属含量与土壤重金属含量的相关性较小,而与降尘呈显著正相关。因此,绿化树种叶片作为空气重金属污染的累积器和监测器是科学合理的,且上述4种树种对杭州市空气中6种重金属污染的指示作用具有一定参考价值,可作为监测城市空气质量的特型树种。该研究结果为减少城市空气重金属污染提供了科学依据和理论支持。  相似文献

The phenotypes of 295 stray cats seen in the capital area of Buenos Aires, Argentina, between March and December of 1989 were recorded. The corresponding mutant allele frequencies were as follows: O = 0.28, a = 0.83, Ta = 0.01; tb = 0.31; d = 0.45; I = 0.40; S = 0.28; W = 0.02. The allele frequencies calculated at the O locus were consistent with those expected for a randomly breeding population according to the formula for the Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium. The analysis of the genetic distances between Buenos Aires and several European cat populations revealed that the Spanish and, especially, those with a proven more ancestral genetic constitution, are the most closely related. When a similar analysis was carried out, including other Latin American cat populations, those of Spanish origin were found to show the highest degree of relatedness. These findings suggest that the Buenos Aires cat population was not genetically structured following the "two-stepping-stone" model and support the hypothesis that differential gene flows play a transcendental role in understanding the genetic composition of domestic cat populations.  相似文献

Dicumarinic oral anticoagulants have a narrow therapeutic range and a great individual variability in response, which makes calculation of the correct dose difficult and critical. Genetic factors involved in this variability include polymorphisms of genes that encode the metabolic enzyme CYP2C9 and the target enzyme vitamin K epoxide reductase complex 1 (VKORC1); these polymorphisms can be associated with reduced enzymatic expression. We examined the frequency of the most relevant variants encoding CYP2C9 (alleles *1, *2 and *3) and VKORC1 (SNP -1639A>G) in the Argentinian population. Molecular typing was performed by PCR-RFLP on a randomly selected sample of 101 healthy volunteers from the Hospital Italiano de Buenos Aires gene bank. Fifty-seven subjects were identified as homozygous for CYP2C9*1 and 14 for *2, while 24 and 5 were heterozygous for *2 and *3 alleles; one individual was a composite heterozygote (*2/*3). When we examined VKORC1, 21 subjects were AA homozygous, 60 were AG heterozygotes and 20 were GG homozygotes. This is the first analysis of genotypic frequencies for CYP2C9 and VKORC1 performed in an Argentinian population. These allele prevalences are similar to what is known for Caucasian population, reflecting the European ancestor of our patient population, coming mostly from Buenos Aires city and surroundings. Knowledge of this prevalence information is instrumental for cost-effective pharmacogenomic testing in patients undergoing oral anticoagulation treatment.  相似文献

Muscle fatty acid profiles and PCB contents of the detritivorous species Prochilodus lineatus and its diet (stomach contents, settling particles and sediments) were analysed from reference and polluted areas of the Paraná‐Rio de la Plata basin, to evaluate the alterations produced by opportunistic feeding on sewage discharges. Overall muscle fatty acid composition was dominated by saturated and monounsaturated 16 and 18 carbon (18 C‐FA) components with reduced long‐chain polyunsaturated fatty acids (LC‐PUFA). Compared to sediments, settling particles and stomach contents were enriched in lipids and had a similar fatty acid composition. Opportunistic feeding on sewage detritus at Buenos Aires resulted in enhanced PCB and triglyceride accumulation, with higher proportions of 18 C‐FA and lower proportions of 16:1 and LC‐PUFA compared to fish from northern pristine reaches of the basin. Mid‐Paraná showed intermediate values reflecting mixing of the North stock with migrating Buenos Aires P. lineatus identified by their lipid and contaminant profile. According to multivariate analyses, this geographical variation of fatty acid composition was strongly influenced by PCB concentration. Prochilodus lineatus assimilates the energy subsidy of sewage inputs through enhanced lipogenesis with dominant 18 C‐FA and significant amounts of valuable LC‐PUFA. This lipid alteration facilitates the bioaccumulation of PCBs which in turn may reinforce the adipogenic effect of sewage feeding.  相似文献

Vertical changes in bark pH and epiphytic lichen biota on Norway spruce and Scots pine were studied. Sample plots were situated in Estonia at different distances from alkaline air pollution sources. Bark pH increased vertically in all sample plots, its mean values being higher in polluted plots. Proportion of dust indicators was clearly highest in the most polluted sample plot, increasing significantly with height in the canopy; no dust indicators were found on the first 2 m near the ground in any of the sample plots.  相似文献
