We describe two new species and redescribe one in the polychaete genus Amphicorina Claparède, 1864 (Sabellidae) from Hokkaido, Japan. Amphicorina ascidicolasp. n. differs from its 38 congeners chiefly in the reduction of the collar, but also in having three pairs of radioles, one pair of ventral radiolar appendages, a bifurcate ventral lobe on the anterior peristomial ring, six abdominal chaetigers, and a large anterior tooth on the abdominal uncini. Amphicorina ezoensissp. n. has a crenulated collar, three pairs of radioles, and more than eight (12) abdominal chaetigers; Amphicorina ezoensis shares these character states with Amphicorina anneae (Rouse, 1994), Amphicorina eimeri (Langerhans, 1880), and Amphicorina persinosa (Ben-Eliahu, 1975), but differs from them in having two pairs of ventral radiolar appendages and a non-oblique collar. Amphicorina mobilis (Rouse, 1990) was previously known only from the type locality (New South Wales, Australia), but we identify our Japanese material as conspecific on the basis of morphological and molecular similarity.  相似文献

Abstract  The present paper deals with the Fannia carbonaria species group (Diptera: Fannidae) in China. Eight species are recorded, 2 of them are described as new to science, i.e. F. antilocera sp. nov. and F. tauricornis sp. nov., and F. imperatoria Nishina 2002 is recorded for the first time in China. Fannia antilocera sp. nov. is most closely related to F. minutipalpis (Stein, 1895), but can be identified by the third antennal segment 2.5 times as long as broad, scutum with brownish-grey, hind femur with a row of pv setae only at basal half. F. tauricornis sp. nov. is very close to F. capricornis Xue, 1996, but is separated on the third antennal segment 3 times as long as wide, basicosta yellow, legs dark brown, the first sternite with hairs, surstylus without expansion on median dorsal; bacilliform process with 2 short processes. In addition, F. tauricornis sp. nov. is fairly related to F. trigonfera Chillcott, 1961, F. japonica japonica Nishida, 1974, F. japonica amamiensis Nishida, 1975, but sets apart by several distinctive characters: cereal plate with longer arm of outside projection, surstylus without expansion on median dorsal, and bacilliform process with 2 short processes. The paper also reports the characters of the F. carbonaria species group. The group as a whole can be recognized by the hind femur without rows of pv setae at apex, the mid tibia with 2 ad and 2 pd setae and the single strong prealar seta.  相似文献

炭色厕蝇种团Fannia carbonaria group是厕蝇属Fannia中的12个种团之一。该种团全世界已知20种,主要分布于全北界。报道了产自中国的该种团8个种的名录及分布,编制了该种团分种检索表,对其中2个新种F.antilocera sp.nov.,F.tauricornis sp.nov.和1个国内新记录种F.imperatoria Nishina,2002分别予以记述。新种F.antilocerasp.nov.同小须厕蝇F.minutipalpis(Stein,1895)相近缘,但后触角第三节长为宽的3倍,盾片具灰色粉被,后足股节后腹鬃列分布到基部2/3处,尾器明显不同等可予以区别。新种F.tauricornis sp.nov.同羊角厕蝇F.capricornis Xue,1996相近缘,但新种触角第三节长为宽的3倍,前缘基鳞黄色,足暗棕色;第一腹板具毛,侧尾叶后缘中部无角形突出,杆状突分为两个短突等即可区别;另与本亚种团的F.trigonfera Chillcott,1961,F.japonica japonica Nishida,1974,F.japonica amamiensis Nishida,1975亦相近,但新种肛尾叶外侧突横臂较长,侧尾叶后缘中部无角形突出,杆状突分为2个短突等亦可区别。新种模式标本和其它研究标本均保存于沈阳师范大学昆虫研究所昆虫标本室。  相似文献

Fan worms (Sabellidae) possess paired modified prostomial structures at the base of the radiolar crown, dorso‐lateral to the mouth, called dorsal lips. The dorsal lips are involved in the sorting of particles collected by the radiolar crown. The range of variation in the morphology of dorsal lips is extensive, and probably this is not only due to adaptations to different environments and feeding preferences but also due to phylogenetic constraints. In this study, we describe and compare the morphology of dorsal lips in a range of sabellid taxa based on histological cross‐sections of these structures, and compare our data and terminology with those of previous studies. Dorsal lips are maintained erect in most taxa by a modified radiole fused to them known as dorsal radiolar appendage. We suggest that dorsal radiolar appendages with an internal supporting axis (cellular or acellular) and probably also the ventral lips are synapomorphies of the family. J. The formation of both the anterior most and posterior most segments in higher dipteran embryos involves complex movements of primordia which can be best visualized with the scanning electron microscope. During head formation, the gnathocephalic segments partially involute through the stomodeum. The labial segment forms the floor of the mouth, and the fused maxillary and mandibular segments form the lateral sides of the mouth. The involuted clypeolabrum forms the roof of the mouth. Invaginations of cells for segmentally derived sense organs can be found prior to involution on all the gnathocephalic and thoracic segments as well as on the labrum. The antennal sense organ derives from the lateral surface of the procephalic lobe. Following involution of the mouth parts, the dorsal ridge, which arises just anterior to the first thoracic segment, is drawn over the dorsal procephalic lobe producing the deep dorsal sac. The optic lobes of the brain invaginate anterior to the dorsal ridge just prior to the covering over of the head. The formation of the anal segment is similarly complex. Two rudimentary segments are found posterior to the eighth abdominal segment. During shortening of the germ band, the posterior most segment is drawn around the posterior tip of the embryo to lie ventrally. Two large anal pads form lateral to the anus from this segment. The next segment, following dorsal closure, produces a pair of anal sense organs and a central tuft of setae. Finally, the eighth abdominal segment gives rise to the posterior spiracles. Following dorsal closure these three segments fuse to produce the terminal (anal) segment of the larva.  相似文献

A total of 28 species of marine Oligochaeta (belonging to the families Naididae, Tubificidae and Enchytraeidae) are reported from eulittoral and sublittoral sediment samples taken in the Koster area on the Swedish West Coast. Lumbricillus algensis sp.n. and Grania ovitheca sp.n. are described and their morphological and taxonomical relations to other enchytraeids are discussed. L. algensis is characterized mainly by its spermathecae, which project into segment VI, and by its very large penial bulbs. G. ovitheca possesses no dorsal setae, the ventral setae being present posterior to the clitellum only, and its spermathecae consist of a narrow duct and a large egg-shaped to oval ampulla, filling most of the coelom of segment V. Four sublittoral species, Limnodriloides barnardi (Tubificidae), Lumbricillus semifuscus, Marionina sublitoralis and Grania roscoffensis (all Enchytraeidae) are reported as new to the Swedish fauna.  相似文献

Two new species of homalorhagid kinorhynchs from the deep-sea Guinea Basin are described. Pycnophyes nubilis sp. nov. is easily recognized by the presence of paradorsal setae on segment 1; middorsal processes on segments 1–10, progressively increasing in length towards the posterior segments; and middorsal process on segment 10 extending over the last trunk segment. Pycnophyes farinellii sp. nov. is distinguished by middorsal elevations on segments 2–9 and laterodorsal and ventromedial setae on segments 2 and 9 only. Moreover, males of the latter species lack ventromedial tubes on segment 2—a very uncommon feature among the genus. The systematic significance of this character is discussed in detail.  相似文献
