本文记述的18种瓢虫采自云南丽江的华山松上,其上有球蚜(Pineussp.) 寄生。包括1个新种——华山松小瓢虫Scym nus(Pullus) huashansong, sp. nov. 和1个中国新记录种——团聚丽瓢虫Adalia conglomerata (L.), 3种鉴定到属或亚属。其中的14种瓢虫同时采自铁杉,其上有铁杉球蚜(Adelges tsugae)寄生。新种华山松小瓢虫Scym nus(Pullus) huashansong (图1)体长2.65m m ,体宽1.80m m 。头黑色,口器及触角红褐色;前胸背板黑色;小盾片黑色;鞘翅红褐色。从头、前胸背板和小盾片黑色而鞘翅红褐色,该种易与它种区分;而从外生殖器而言,它与弯端小瓢虫S. (P.) accamptus Pang etPu 相似,但新种阳基较纤细,第1腹板上的后基线弯曲度大拱形明显而区分。新种模式标本1997年9月24日虞国跃采于云南丽江文笔山,存北京市农林科学院植保环保研究所。  相似文献

This study describes the fauna of predator insects, parasitoids and ants associated with aphids on kale (Brassica oleracea L. var. acephala D.C.) in organic system. The aphid was identified as Lipaphis pseudobrassicae Davis, and this is the first record of the species attacking kale in Brazil. Primary parasitism by Diaeretiella sp. and Aphidius sp. and hyperparasitism by Aphydencyrtus sp., Alloxysta sp., Pachyneuron sp. and Syrphophagus sp. were observed. Twenty species of Coccinellidae were collected, and eight of them were observed in adult and larval stages attacking the aphid: Hyperaspis (Hyperaspis) festiva Mulsant, which was the most abundant (72.5% of all predator insects obtained), Cycloneda sanguinea (L.), Eriopis connexa Germar, Coleomegilla maculata DeGeer, Hippodamia convergens Guérin, Heterodiomus sp., Scymnus (Pullus) sp.1 and Scymnus (Pullus) sp.2. Aphidophagous Syrphidae larvae collected on leaves ofkale infested by L. pseudobrassicae belong to the species Allograpta exotica (Wiedemann) and Ocyptamus gastrostactus (Wiedemann). Larvae and pupae of Syrphidae were parasitized by Pachyneuron sp., Syrphophagus sp. and Diplazon laetatorius Fabricius. Larvae of Chrysopodes sp. were observed feeding on L. pseudobrassicae. Species of ants associated with the colony of this aphid were Ectatomma quadridens Fabricius and Pheidole sp.  相似文献

A field population of Scymnus louisianae Chapin (Coccinellidae) was found attacking soybean aphids, Apis glycines Matsumura (Aphidae), a pest recently introduced into Kentucky. This coccinellid had not previously been found in Kentucky. A greenhouse population of S. louisianae was established and its predation on A. glycines studied under laboratory conditions. Total time to develop from egg to adult was about 20 d. About 70% of immatures survived to adulthood and they consumed approximately 100 aphid nymphs per beetle larva during the beetle's four larval instars. Adults lived for an average of 47 d (mated males) and 63 d (mated females) and, during their total adult lifetime, mated males consumed an average of 665 nymphs and mated females consumed 1261 nymphs. All developmental times and predation rates were comparable to those reported for other aphidophagous Scymnus spp. which, in conjunction with reports that Scymnus spp. are effective predators of cotton aphids, Aphis gossypii Glover, suggests that S. louisianae is a potentially important predator of A. glycines in the southern United States.  相似文献

Foraging behaviour of three aphidophagous predators, viz., Cheilomenes sexmaculata (Fabricius), Scymnus sp. (Coleoptera: Coccinellidae) and Paragus serratus (Fabricius) (Diptera: Syrphidae) on prey Aphis punicae Passerini (Homoptera: Aphididae) was studied in the laboratory at Indian Institute of Horticultural Research, Bangalore (12 degrees 58' N; 77 degrees 35'E) during 2002-03 to understand the predation dynamics. The foraging studies of grubs of C. sexmaculata and Scymnus sp. on A. punicae revealed that the distance travelled to reach the food (aphids) was negatively correlated with the feeding time of prey (r = -0.434 and -0.743, respectively). The time taken for second encounter was positively correlated with feeding time in case of both C. sexmaculata (r = 0.715) and P.serratus (r = 0.641). The time taken for first encounter of prey by Scymnus sp. showed negative correlation with the feeding time (r = -0.9491) and positive correlation with the distance traveled by the predator to reach the food (r = 0.620). The foraging behavioural studies of syrphid, P. serratus on A. punicae showed that the time taken for first encounter of prey was positively correlated with both the feeding time (r = 0.467) and the distance travelled by the syrphid to reach the food (r = 0.485). The time taken for first encounter of prey also showed significant positive correlation with the search time of the prey (r = 0.384).  相似文献

本文研究了不同龄期及不同发育期的黑襟毛瓢虫在不同食蚜量(生物量)下的发育速率,增长速率,存活率及生殖率。主要结果如下: (1)讨论了下模型(Beddinton et al.,1976)的隐含假说: 1/d=a(KaNT/1 aT _(?)N-B) (1) 其中最主要一点就是该模型没有考虑到在(食物摄入量)常数B邻域内发育速率的非连续性。为了描述此性质,我们提出了以下通式: 式中:1/d是捕食者发育速率,X是捕食者摄取的生物量,N为猎物密度。F(X(N))为一可以是线性或其他形状的函数。笔者认为发育速率在B领域的不连续性是数值反应的一个普遍规律。(2)黑襟毛瓢虫幼虫取食量与增长率的关系结果表明,三、四龄幼虫在取食量较低时能以低于上一龄期初的体重(负增长率)进入下一龄期或虫态。(3)二、三龄幼虫有很强的耐饥性,但一、四龄幼虫对饥饿较敏感(图5)。第i—1龄幼虫的取食量能影响第i龄时的存活率及发育速率(表2)。(4)幼虫及成虫的取食率对生殖均有重要影响,但取食量对卵重及其卵的孵化率影响不显著。  相似文献

  • 1 The patterns of abundance of coccinellid species associated to the main agricultural tree crops of north‐eastern Portugal namely olive, chestnut and almond were studied.
  • 2 During three to four crop seasons, eight olive, five chestnut and one almond groves were sampled. In each grove, five samples were collected from 10 randomly selected trees using the beating technique and the coccinellids were counted and identified to species. Principal component analysis was used to establish associations among crop and coccinellid species.
  • 3 The mean species richness was higher in chestnut, with 15 ± 3.81 species/grove, followed by olive and almond, with 13 ± 2.76 and 10 ± 2.97 species/grove, respectively. Scymnus mediterraneus was the most abundant species in olive and almond, whereas Scymnus interruptus was dominant in chestnut. Brumus quadripustulatus, Chilocorus bipustulatus, Scymnus subvillosus, S. mediterraneus and Rhyzobius chrysomeloides were associated with olive, whereas S. interruptus, Coccinella septempunctata and Adalia decempunctata were associated with chestnut and Hippodamia variegata, Oenopia conglobata and Adalia bipunctata with almond. Both Stethorus punctillum and Scymnus apetzi species were similarly associated with chestnut and almond.
  • 4 The differences in coccinellid communities could have been related to the kind of prey item present in the different trees. This knowledge can be used to develop integrated pest management programmes that encourage greater natural enemy biodiversity in agroecosystems.

The fennel aphid, Hyadaphis foeniculi (Passerini) (Hemiptera: Aphididae) is a major pest of fennel, Foeniculum vulgare Miller in northeast region of Brazil. We hypothesize that intercropping can be used as an alternative pest management strategy to reduce aphid yield loss in fennel. Thus, we investigated the severity of fennel plant damage in relation to infestation by the fennel aphid and predation by Cycloneda sanguinea (L.) (Coleoptera: Coccinellidae) (spotless lady beetle), green lacewing, Chrysoperla carnea (Stephens) (Neuroptera: Chrysopidae), and Scymnus spp. (Coleoptera: Coccinellidae) in sole fennel plots and plots of fennel intercropped with cotton with colored fibers. The fennel aphid populations in nontreated plots were significantly larger in sole fennel plots than in intercropped plots. The highest densities of C. sanguinea, green lacewings and Scymnus spp., associated with the suppression of fennel aphid populations was found in fennel in the intercropping systems. Fennel aphids reduced the fennel seed yield by 80% in the sole fennel plots compared with approximately 30% for all intercropping systems. The results obtained in this research are of practical significance for designing appropriate strategies for fennel aphid control in fennel-cotton intercropping systems. In summary, intercropping fennel with cotton with colored fibers apparently promoted biocontrol of fennel aphid in fennel.  相似文献
