Taxonomic study of the genus Niwaella (Cypriniformes:Cobitidae) from East China,with description of four new species

Four loaches,Niwaella brevipinna Chen & Chen,sp.nov.,N.fimbriata Chen & Chen,sp.nov.,N.nigrolinea Chen & Chen,sp.nov.and N.qujiangensis Chen &Chen,sp.nov.,are described based on specimens collected from Zhejiang and Anhui Provinces,East China.The mitochondrial cytochrome b gene of 28 individuals of seven species from seven locations collected from Zhejiang,Anhui and Jiangxi Provinces were amplified and analyzed.Morphological and molecular data showed that N.fimbriata Chen & Chen,sp.nov.and N.nigrolinea Chen & Chen,sp.nov.,N.brevipinna Chen& Chen,sp.nov.and N.laterimaculata (Yan & Zheng),N.qujiangensis Chen & Chen,sp.nov.and N.longibarba Chen & Chen are closely related.The seven Chinese Niwaella species,N.brevipinna Chen & Chen,sp.nov.,N.fimbriata Chen & Chen,sp.nov.,N.laterimaculata,N.longibarba,N.nigrolinea Chen & Chen,sp.nov.,N.qujiangensis Chen & Chen,sp.nov.,and N.xinjiangensis are clearly distinguished by the combination of the color patter,mental lobes,suborbital spine,caudal peduncle,body shape,and subdorsal scales.     

台湾海峡及其邻近海区单肢水母属的研究(丝螅水母目,高手水母科)

记述了台湾海峡及其邻近海区高手水母科Bougainvillidae Lutken,1850单肢水母属Nubiella Bouillon,1980 6新种和1新组合,即棍棒单肢水母Nubiella claviformis Xu,Huang et Lin,sp.nov.,间腺单肢水母N.intergona Xu,Huang et Lin,sp.nov.,大胃单肢水母N.macrogastera Xu,Huang et Lin,sp.nov.,大腺单肢水母N. macrogona Xu,Huang et Guo,sp.nov.,口刺单肢水母N. oralospinela Xu,Huang et Guo,sp.nov.,乳突单肢水母N. papilaris Xu,Huang et Guo,sp.nov.和阿尔单肢水母N.alvarinoae(Segura,1980)comb.nov.,并讨论了它们与近缘种的区别,同时将单肢水母属已知种作个检索表.模式标本保存在厦门大学海洋学系.     

A STUDY ON THE GENUS NIPPONOBUPRESTIS OBENBERGER (COLEOPTERA: BUPRESTIDAE)

Abstract A study is made with the rare Oriental Buprestidae genus Nippoduprestis Obenberger, 1942. Four new species are described under the names: Nipponobuprcstis rubrocinctus sp. nov., N. guangxiensis sp. nov., N. orientalis sp. nov. and N. bilyi sp. nov. The two historic species N. amabilis (Shell van Voll.), 1864, and N. querceti (Saunders), 1973, are redescribed in the same time. This genus is divided into two subgenera as: Nipponobuprestis s. str. and Nippaobuprestisia subgen. nov.     

New species of Nepalomyia henanensis species group from China(Diptera: Dolichopodidae: Peloropeodinae)

Three new species of Nepalomyia henanensis species group are described from China, N. damingshanus sp. nov., N. dongae sp. nov., and N. shennongjiaensis sp. nov. A key to known species of this species group is presented.     

鄂东南晚二叠世菊石新材料

记述的菊石采自鄂东南大冶柯家湾晚二叠世大隆组,主要产于硅质页岩、硅质岩的灰岩透镜体中,共8属11种.此区大隆组仅相当于长兴阶的上部;Meitianoceras 在本区的出现,表明此属不仅分布于长兴阶的下部,也可延伸到长兴阶的上部.整个大隆组的化石,以自游生物为主,底栖类型很少.菊石中壳体大、壳面肋瘤发育者数量少,而壳饰弱、个体小者大量繁盛,呈现高丰度、低分异度的特点.保存化石的灰岩透镜体中具星散状的黄铁矿.本区晚二叠世晚期处于局部封闭的海湾环境.     

Lecithoceridae (Lepidoptera: Gelechioidea) of New Guinea,Part V: Descriptions of two new genera,Neotimyra gen. nov. and Strombiola gen. nov.

This is the 5th part in a series on the family Lecithoceridae (Lepidoptera, Gelechioidea) of New Guinea. Two new genera, Neotimyra gen. nov. and Strombiola gen. nov. are proposed. There are five new species in the genus Neotimyra (N. senara sp. nov., N. milleri sp. nov., N. gyriola sp. nov., N. warkapiensis sp. nov., and N. nemoralis sp. nov.), and one new species in the genus Strombiola (S. papuana sp. nov.). Adults, heads, labial palpi, venations, and male genitalia are illustrated.     

中国新园蛛属三新种(蜘蛛目,园蛛科)(英文)

记述中国园蛛科新园蛛属3新种:朱氏新园蛛Neoscona zhui sp.nov.,黄色新园蛛N.flavescenssp.nov.和崇左新园蛛N.chongzuoensis sp.nov.模式标本保存在河北大学博物馆。文中测量单位为mm。朱氏新园蛛,新种Neoscona zhuisp.nov.(图1~9)正模♀,福建武夷山自然保护区,2003年7月17日,张超采。副模1♂,福建武夷山自然保护区,2003年7月17日,张超采。新种与多褶新园蛛N.multiplicans(Chamberlin,1924)近似,区别为:1)新种雌蛛的外雌器基部窄,垂体较长;2)新种外雌器垂体的的侧隆起位于中部,而多褶新园蛛的侧隆起位于垂体的末端;3)新种触肢器的引导器有1骨质化的裂片,而多褶新园蛛无裂片;4)两者中突齿的位置不同;5)新种基节Ⅳ具1肉质的小瘤状突起,而多褶新园蛛无小突起。新种与类青新园蛛N.scylloides(B senberg & Strand,1906)近似,区别为:1)新种雌蛛外雌器的垂体短;2)新种中突相对较小;3)新种触肢器的顶突基部具1凹陷,而类青新园蛛无凹陷;4)两者胫节Ⅱ的刚毛数不同。词源:新种...     

Materials for the Charaphyta of China

Reported in this paper are two new species, one new variety, and three new records of the Characeae collected in China. They are Nitella anhuensis sp. nov., Chara paucicarpa sp. nov., Nitella alleninda var. tenuireticulata var. nov., N. gracilliformis J. Grove., N. formosa T. F. Allen and Chara tenuispina A. Br.     

Some New Taxa of Charophyta in China

The authors examined specimens collected from Beijing, Hebei Province and North-east China. Two new species, one variety and five new records of the Characeae from China are reported in this paper. They are Nitella nenjiangensis sp. nov., Chara vertillibracteata sp. nov., C. globularis Thuiller var. beijingensis var. nov., Nitella axillaris Braun, N. crispa Imah., N. gracillima Allan, N. pseudoflabellata var. imperialis T. F. A., Chara arru-densis Mendes.
