Summary Oxygen consumption at 25°C was measured continously throughout the egg stage of Leptopterna dolobrata (more than 9 months).The rate of O2-uptake (l O2/100 eggs · 1 h) is low in freshly laid eggs. Maintaining the eggs at a constant temperature of 16°C, respiration rises abruptly from the first day after oviposition and continues rising steadily for 3 days, reaching an average value of 1.4 l. Oxygen consumption persists at or near this high level during the developmental phase of prediapause, which lasts about 15 days. After some days of oscillating high and low values, respiration decreases, and from the 24th day a low level (0.3–0.4 l) is reached. If the eggs are incubated at 16°C continuously, this low diapause-level is maintained until the end of the experiments (42 weeks) and diapause is terminated in a few eggs only.A significant increase in the success of hatching is obtained by exposing the eggs to a sufficient period of chilling.24 groups of diapausing eggs were chilled at 5°C for certain periods (10, 18, 22, 26, 31, and 34 weeks) and afterwards transferred to 16°C and re-incubated. The changes of their O2-uptake at 25°C were traced throughout their chilling and successive re-incubating periods.Oxygen consumption is greatly accelerated during the cold treatment of the eggs. The low values of the diapause-level are raised progressively during the first 6 weeks of chilling. After this primary rapid increase, respiration remains at a level 5-times as high as the diapause values over a period up to the 25th week at 5°C. This is almost exactly the duration of mesodiapause (6 months).The rates of O2-uptake during the subsequent re-incubation at 16°C depend on the extent of chilling. The ability of diapause-breaking is correlated to the rates of O2-uptake, measured after setting of re-incubation. If respiration never decreases by the onset of re-incubation, diapause is terminated in most of the eggs, and the rates of O2-uptake increase as re-incubation goes on towards the emergence of the larvae (postdiapause period).A preliminary interpretation of the cold-stimulated O2-uptake in diapausing Leptopterna-eggs is given.Dedicated to Prof. Dr. H. For diapause eggs of the silkworm, Bombyx mori, diapause initiation is prevented with hydrochloric acid (HCl) at around 20 h post-oviposition while diapause status is terminated with chilling around 5°C. To investigate whether hydrogen peroxide (H(2)O(2)) and catalase expression are involved in diapause initiation and termination, the concentration of H(2)O(2), relatively higher levels of catalase mRNA and activity of catalase were compared between (1) 20-h-old diapause eggs and the HCl-treated diapause eggs, and (2) 10-day-old diapause eggs and the 5°C-chilled diapause eggs. Compared to diapause eggs, the HCl-treated eggs had significantly higher H(2)O(2) concentrations (up from approximately 1-3 μmol/g fresh mass to 5-8 μmol/g fresh mass), higher relative level of catalase mRNA (up from 0 to 35.2%) and higher catalase activity (up from 2.51 units/mg protein to 4.97 units/mg protein) at 96 h post-treatment. On the other hand, the 5°C chilling resulted in significant increases of H(2)O(2) concentration (up from 0.79 μmol/g fresh mass to 5.57 μmol/g fresh mass), relative level of catalase mRNA (up from 0 to 71.4%) and catalase activity (up from 0.88 units/mg protein to 3.42 units/mg protein) within 120 days. The results obtained in this work suggest that variations of H(2)O(2) and catalase expression in Bombyx eggs are involved in diapause initiation and termination.  相似文献

In Eobiana engelhardti subtropica, early laid eggs reach the diapause stage in early autumn. For long periods before winter, the eggs are exposed to temperatures higher than their theoretical lower threshold for development. In contrast, late-laid eggs cannot reach their diapause stage before winter. Our study showed that E. e. subtropica copes with these difficulties via the thermal response involving embryonic diapause. In this katydid, the almost fully developed embryo undergoes an obligatory diapause. When diapause eggs were maintained at a temperature of 20 degrees C or higher, diapause persisted for a long time. Diapause was effectively terminated by temperatures ranging from 1 to 11 degrees C, and hatching occurred successfully at temperatures from 11 to 15 degrees C. In addition to the chilling temperature, pre-chilling temperature modified diapause intensity and hatching time. Diapause eggs hatched earlier after chilling when the pre-chilling temperature was lower, within a range of 14.5-25 degrees C. Thus, the low-temperature requirement for diapause termination prevents early laid eggs from untimely hatching in autumn, and low temperatures before and during winter decrease diapause intensity and shorten the hatching time in the following spring. When eggs were chilled before diapause, they tolerated chilling and averted diapause. Thus, even if eggs encounter low temperatures before diapause, they can hatch in the following spring.  相似文献

Embryonic diapause is commonly terminated by exposure to low temperature for a certain duration. Previous studies using the silkworm, Bombyx mori, showed that extracellular signal-regulated kinase (ERK), a member of the mitogen-activated protein kinase family, was activated by cold exposure and regulated diapause termination. The involvement of ERK in regulation of diapause termination was investigated in the false melon beetle, Atrachya menetriesi. Embryonic diapause of this beetle is terminated both by cold exposure and by mercury. Phospho-ERK levels remained high during the pre-diapause period but decreased after the eggs entered diapause. Exposure to 7.5 degrees C, which was effective for diapause termination, increased phospho-ERK levels, and these levels were maintained under 7.5 degrees C at least for 100 d. Incubation at 25 degrees C after the eggs were kept at 7.5 degrees C for 20 d, which intensified diapause, decreased the phospho-ERK level. An insufficient cold treatment, i.e., incubation at 0 degrees C for diapause termination did not activate ERK. However, incubation at 0 degrees C after cold treatment at 7.5 degrees C, which is effective for diapause termination, induced high phospho-ERK levels. Moreover, mercury treatment also increased phospho-ERK. Therefore, changes in the phospho-ERK level correlated well with diapause intensity. The results suggest that ERK plays a key role in the regulation of embryonic diapause.  相似文献

Diapause in a New Zealand strain of codling moth (Cydia pomonella Linnaeus [Lepidoptera: Olethreutidae]) was induced in larvae by photoperiods of 15 h or less. Once diapause had been initiated, it could not be terminated by any combination of conditions tested for at least 20 days after cocooning. In diapausing larvae a low rate of pupation occurred at 25 °C under a long day (18 h) photoperiod. A high rate of pupation was achieved under a long day regime when larvae were decocooned, and provided with apple as nourishment. Diapause could be terminated predictably in 94–100% of larvae by 1) conditioning at 15 °C and constant darkness for periods of 40–100 days, then 2) chilling at 2±2 °C and constant darkness for 20–50 days followed by 3) any post-chill condition periods at 25 °C, 18 h photoperiod. Complete diapause termination was achieved when 100 days conditioning was followed by 30 days or 50 days post-chill period. Under these conditions, 76% termination occurred in the post-chill period after 10 days, and 93% after 25 days.To terminate diapause in codling moth larvae, we recommend that a 100 days conditioning followed by 30 days chilling and 50 days post chilling periods be used.  相似文献

The silkworm Bombyx mori requires 2-3 months of low temperature (5 degrees C) to terminate embryonic diapause. The molecular mechanisms, however, are unknown. Extracellular signal-regulated kinase (ERK)/mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) is temperature-dependently activated in the yolk cells of diapausing eggs after 45 days at 5 degrees C, coincident with the acquisition of developmental competence of the embryos at 25 degrees C. Yolk cell granulation and dissociation also begin in diapause eggs incubated at 5 degrees C for 45 days. We used dechorionated egg culture as a model system of diapause termination and observed that both yolk cell dissociation and embryonic development are inhibited by MAPK-ERK kinase (MEK) inhibitor U0126. Therefore, we suggest that ERK in yolk cells has a role in regulating changes in yolk morphology and termination of embryonic diapause in B. mori.  相似文献

Summary Diapause eggs of the silkworm, Bombyx mori, exposed to 5°C and 0.5°C from 2 or 30 days after oviposition, were examined for changes in contents of glycogen, sorbitol and glycerol. Cold acclimation did not alter the profile of accumulation of sorbitol from that in eggs kept continuously at 25°C. However, acclimation at 5°C resulted in conversion of sorbitol to glycogen, while acclimation at 0.5°C was not accompanied by the utilization of sorbitol. NAD-sorbitol dehydrogenase (NAD-SDH; EC 1.1.1.14) activity was examined in the cold-acclimated eggs. The activity was induced by acclimation at 5°C but not at 0.5°C. Incubation at 0.5°C suppressed any further increase in the activity that had been induced. Temperature-directed changes in NAD-SDH activity paralleled those in sorbitol content. Hatching of the diapause eggs was monitored after cold acclimation for various periods of time and subsequent transfer to 25°C. Incubation at 0.5°C was less effective than 5°C at breaking diapause. The time required for the eggs to hatch in synchrony after acclimation at 5°C coincided with that required for the induction of NAD-SDH activity. These results show that different effects result from acclimation at 5°C and near 0°C with respect to the control of NAD-SDH activity, that utilization of sorbitol is controlled by NAD-SDH activity, and that induction of this activity is temperature-dependent. Cellular responses to cold-acclimation have not yet been studied in depth. To explore this field, we focussed on insect diapause development. Although embryonic diapause of Bombyx mori is sustained at 25 degrees C, chilling at 5 degrees C for 2 months causes diapause termination, a transition that is marked when the sorbitol dehydrogenase gene (SDH) is activated. To clarify the relationship between this activation and incubation at 5 degrees C, we isolated a novel cold-inducible gene, Samui. Expression of Samui mRNA and protein was activated after incubation at 5 degrees C for 5-6 days, lasted for another 30 days and then weakened. Exposure to 25 degrees C suppressed both mRNA and protein expression. In nondiapause eggs incubated at 5 degrees C, Samui was also up-regulated, although the expression was weaker. Samui contained nuclear localization-signals, a ssDNA-binding motif and a BAG domain similar to that of SODD/BAG-4. Because Samui could bind to HSP70, it is a member of BAG protein family. It is proposed that Samui serves to transmit the '5 degrees C signal' for SDH expression in diapause eggs, while also protecting against cold-injures in nondiapause eggs, through binding to respective partners. This is the first report that a member of BAG protein family is up-regulated by cold.  相似文献

The effects of temperature on maintenance and termination of embryonic diapause were investigated in Jining (35.4°N, 116.6°E) and Sihong (33.5°N, 118.2°E) strains of the Chinese rice grasshopper, Oxya chinensis Thunberg (Orthoptera: Catantopidae). Eggs of both strains entered diapause when incubated at 30, 25, or 20 °C. Chilling at 8 °C had an evident effect on diapause termination and almost all eggs chilled for 60 days ended diapause development. Chilling of eggs at 8 °C for only 20 days failed to result in any hatching at 20 °C, suggesting that such level of chilling was not enough to induce diapause termination. However, the treatment combining incubation of eggs at 30 °C for varying lengths of time with subsequent incubation to 20 °C had a distinct effect on the completion of diapause of the eggs. The results indicate that there were two temperature optima, that is, low temperature (chilling) and high temperature, for diapause development in this grasshopper species. Incubation of chilled eggs at 20 °C for 5–15 days followed by further incubation at 25 °C reduced termination of diapause significantly compared with the eggs only chilled at 8 °C. Exposure of eggs chilled at 8 °C to a pulse of 25 °C from 1 to 7 days, separated by a 20-day interval at 8 °C, resulted in a decrease in the percentage of successfully hatched eggs as the length of the pulse of 25 °C increased. The results suggest that diapause intensity may be restored at moderately high temperatures. This reversible change in diapause intensity would play an important role in maintaining diapause before winter.  相似文献

Summary A series of experiments was conducted to determine whether the interconversion of glycogen and sorbitol at the initiation and termination of diapause in eggs of the silkworm,Bombyx mori was influenced by low temperatures (5°C and 1°C). The conversion of glycogen to sorbitol and glycerol at the initiation of diapause was not affected by exposure to 5°C and 1°C. Chilling diapause eggs at 5°C for over 70 days resulted in a progressive conversion of sorbitol to glycogen. Transfer to 1°C after chilling to 5°C led to a decrease in sorbitol and glycerol conversion. While continuous chilling at 1°C completely inhibited sorbitol utilization for at least 400 days, sorbitol began to decrease immediately following transfer to 5°C. In contrast, glycerol utilization was not prevented by acclimation to 1°C, but a delayed decrease occurred. Continuous exposure to 1°C delayed hatching for a period of 440 days, whereas acclimation to 5°C resulted in 100 per cent hatching by about 100 days. A low, or high acclimation temperature 1°C or 5°C produce different effects on sorbitol utilization and termination of diapause in silkworm eggs.  相似文献

To clarify the molecular mechanisms of Bombyx diapause, we focused on mitogen-activated protein kinases (MAPK), which are the major components of signal transduction cascades that regulate cell proliferation, differentiation, and stress responses. In the present study, cloning of Bombyx extracellular signal-related kinase (ERK), MAPK-ERK kinase (MEK), and p38 MAPK cDNA, revealed that their amino acid sequences have close similarity with those of other species. We analyzed the roles of the kinases in diapause initiation and termination by immuno-blotting with anti-phospho-kinase antibodies. Phospho-MEK levels remained consistently high in non-diapausing eggs, then declined after the diapausing stage in diapausing eggs, and began to increase 45 d after transfer to 5 degrees C upon diapause termination. The phospho-ERK and phospho-MEK profiles were similar, suggesting that ERK phosphorylation is regulated by MEK. The phospho-p38 MAPK levels declined 36 h after oviposition in diapausing eggs, and increased at 15-30 d at 5 degrees C in yolk cells, suggesting that p38 MAPK has a role in diapause initiation and termination. Phospho-ERK levels were maintained with diapause-interrupting treatment and declined with diapause-sustaining treatment. ERK phosphorylation is considered to have a role in diapause termination and in the resumption of development.  相似文献

The process of yolk protein (YP) uptake by developing oocytes in Drosophila melanogaster has been investigated by immunofluorescent localization of the endocytosis proteins, clathrin, alpha-adaptin and the putative yolk protein receptor (YP receptor). Data suggests that YPs from the follicle cells are trafficked into the oocyte during early stages of vitellogenesis, and that hemolymph YPs are sequestered by nurse cells adjacent to the developing oocyte during late stages of vitellogenesis. Yolk proteins were immunolocalized to both follicle cells and nurse cells during these processes. Diapausing female Drosophila melanogaster undergo a pre-vitellogenic arrest of ovarian development associated with the absence of ovarian alpha-adaptin, clathrin and putative YP receptor. Diapause termination by transfer of whole animals from 11 degrees C to 25 degrees C, or by 20-hydroxyecdysone injection, results in the appearance of immunopositive material in the nurse cells for all three proteins between 12 h and 16 h post upshift and within four days of injection. Immunopositive material was not noted in the follicle cells during diapause termination. In vitro warming of diapausing ovaries, or incubation in the presence of 1 &mgr;M 20-hydroxyecdysone failed to initiate early vitellogenic development suggesting that diapause termination requires factor(s) external to the ovary. Western blotting analysis of extracts of 24 h post-eclosion wild type and ap(56f) females identified putative yolk protein receptor with a molecular weight of 208 kDa and clathrin with a molecular weight of 178 kDa.  相似文献

The Asian tiger mosquito, Aedes albopictus, is a highly invasive mosquito species that transmits chikungunya and dengue. This species overwinters as diapausing eggs in temperate climates. Early diapause termination may be a beneficial strategy for winter mosquito control; however, a mechanism to terminate the diapause process using chemicals is not known. We tested the hypothesis that a hormonal imbalance caused by the administration of juvenile hormone analog would terminate egg diapause in A. albopictus. We tested the insect growth regulator pyriproxyfen on all developmental stages to identify a susceptible stage for diapause termination. We found that pyriproxyfen treatment of mosquito eggs terminated embryonic diapause. The highest rates of diapause termination were recorded in newly deposited (78.9%) and fully embryonated (74.7%) eggs at 0.1 and 1 ppm, respectively. Hatching was completed earlier in newly deposited eggs (25–30 days) compared to fully embryonated eggs (71–80 days). The combined mortality from premature diapause termination and ovicidal activity was 98.2% in newly deposited and >98.9% in fully embryonated eggs at 1 ppm. The control diapause eggs did not hatch under diapausing conditions. Pyriproxyfen exposure to larvae, pupae and adults did not prevent the females from ovipositing diapausing eggs. There was no effect of pyriproxyfen on diapausing egg embryonic developmental time. We also observed mortality in diapausing eggs laid by females exposed to pyriproxyfen immediately after blood feeding. There was no mortality in eggs laid by females that survived larval and pupal exposures. In conclusion, diapausing eggs were the more susceptible to pyriproxyfen diapause termination compared to other life stages. This is the first report of diapause termination in A. albopictus with a juvenile hormone analog. We believe our findings will be useful in developing a new control strategy against overwintering mosquito populations.  相似文献

Effects of photoperiod and cold exposure on diapause termination, post-diapause development and reproduction in Loxostege sticticalis were examined. Larvae were reared at diapause inducing condition (22 °C, L:D 12:12) consistently or transferred to long day photoperiod (L:D 16:8) and darkness (L:D 0:24) respectively, after entering into diapause. Diapause was terminated in approximately 40% of the larvae after 36 days, and no significant differences were observed between photoperiods, suggesting larval diapause was terminated spontaneously without being induced by photoperiods. Cold exposure significantly hastened diapause termination. The diapause termination incidence increased significantly with peaks of 98% at both 5 °C and 0 °C exposure for 30 days, as compared to 42% in controls not exposed to cold, while the mortality and number of days required for diapause termination decreased dramatically. The optimal low temperature exposure periods under 5 °C or 0 °C were 20 days and 30 days, showing a higher termination incidence and shorter time for diapause termination. This suggests that the low temperatures in winter play an important role in diapause termination under natural conditions. The threshold temperatures for post-diapause development in prepupae and pupae were 9.13 °C and 10.60 °C respectively, with corresponding accumulations of 125 and 200 degree-days. Adults that experienced larval diapause significantly delayed their first oviposition, oviposition period was prolonged, and the lifetime number of eggs laid was decreased, however both males and females have significantly longer longevity. The field validation of diapause termination, the degree-days model, and the relationship between diapause and migration in L. sticticalis were also discussed.  相似文献

In order to understand the molecular mechanism of development during early embryogenesis in diapause and non-diapause of the silkworm, mRNA from diapause and non-diapause eggs was compared using the differential display technique. We cloned the full length of a cDNA encoding a novel RNA helicase-like (RHL) protein by the RACE method using a cDNA fragment which was one of the specific cDNAs in the non-diapause eggs. A BLAST search using the predicted amino acid sequence of RHL revealed a low homology (21–25% identity of its partial length) with that of the DEAD-box RNA helicase. Gene expression of the RHL gene of the diapause and non-diapause eggs was investigated by RT-PCR until 60 h after oviposition. Amplified RHL cDNA was observed through all the stages in the non-diapause eggs, while in the diapause eggs, cDNA was found in eggs 0–12 h after oviposition but disappeared 24–60 h after oviposition. When the diapause eggs were activated by HCl treatment after chilling at 4 °C for 6 days from 48 h after oviposition (artificial diapause termination), cDNA was observed from 12 h after HCl treatment. We also investigated the immunohistochemical distribution and localization of RHL in non-diapause eggs using anti-recombinant His-tag RHL antiserum. RHL was distributed in blastoderm cells and yolk cells and was localized in the nucleus and the cytosol of yolk cells. These data suggest that RHL has an important role in the early embryo of the silkworm.  相似文献

As the growing season is expected to begin earlier under climate change, insects should initiate reproduction several days or weeks earlier than they used to. In eastern Canada, hemlock looper (HL) Lambdina fiscellaria (Guenée) (Lepidoptera: Geometridae) females generally oviposit in September, with eggs entering an obligatory diapause quickly after their deposition. We therefore simulated an early start of the HL reproduction cycle of 2, 4, 6, or 8 weeks to examine the extent to which freshly laid eggs from two populations (island and mainland) can withstand exposure to four temperature conditions (15, 20, 25 °C, or fluctuating temperature in an outdoor insectary), with all treatments ending on 1 September 2007. On this date, half the eggs from each population were immediately incubated at 15 °C, while the rest were stored in an outdoor insectary until their incubation at 15 °C the following spring. In a separate experiment, the effect of temperature on pre‐diapause duration was determined from the number of days required for eggs to change colour after oviposition. The pre‐diapause phase was completed faster as temperature increased. Regardless of incubation date and population, percent hatch decreased significantly after 6‐8 weeks of exposure to 25 °C or in the outdoor insectary. Under most treatments, the odds of dying as pharate larvae increased with exposure duration. When eggs were incubated at 15 °C immediately after treatment, time to hatch and diapause duration remained constant over treatments, except at 25 °C when they both decreased. After 8 weeks of exposure to 15 or 20 °C, eggs transferred outdoors were more likely to hatch precociously than those exposed to 25 °C or insectary conditions. Globally, mortality seemed greater among eggs stored outdoors than among those kept indoors. Most eggs that survived the winter hatched synchronously after incubation in spring. Overall, larger eggs from the island population survived better than smaller eggs from the mainland population.  相似文献

In apple orchards in northern Greece, females of Panonychus ulmi Koch were found to lay diapause eggs from late August to the beginning of October. The course of diapause termination in the field was determined by transferring diapause eggs during winter and early spring from apple orchards with the varieties Starkinson and Firiki to short days (LD 8:16) (1992–1996), and long days (LD 16:8) (1994–1995), both at 20 °C. Percentages of diapause termination were very low to zero from October to the beginning of January, then progressively increased throughout January and February. Diapause termination in 50% of the eggs occurred in the first half of February in lowland mite populations irrespective of the year and location from which the eggs originated, and about one month earlier in a population originating from an altitude of 300 m. For each sampling date throughout the winter, the mean number of days required for 50% egg hatch at 20 °C (T50%) was similar under either a long (LD 16:8) or a short (LD 8:16) photoperiod. Diapause eggs collected in October 1995 from two orchards and maintained at 0, 5, 10 and 15 °C for various periods were subsequently transferred to 20 °C and LD 8:16, where TP50% was determined. It was shown that temperature, duration of maintenance at the different temperatures and the orchard from which the eggs originated had a significant effect on T50% and therefore on diapause development. Additionally, in our strains diapause intensity was much weaker than in strains from more northern latitudes and was terminated even without any cold exposure. The variation in diapause intensity in different strains of P. ulmi may have an adaptive significance for this widespread species.  相似文献

Abstract.  Eggs laid by adult female Dianemobius nigrofasciatus , reared under long-day (LD 16 : 8 h, 25 °C) or short-day (LD 12 : 12 h, 25 °C) conditions from the nymphal stage, are kept at several constant temperatures. At 22.5–30.0 °C, eggs laid by long-day adults show lower incidences of diapause than those laid by short-day adults. In both eggs laid by adults under long-day conditions and those under short-day conditions, the higher the temperature at which the eggs are kept, the lower the incidence of diapause. When eggs of long-day adults are exposed to a low-temperature pulse (10 °C, 24 h) on the day of deposition (day 0), the incidence of diapause increases. The low-temperature pulse on day 1 does not increase the incidence of diapause. By contrast, when the eggs of short-day adults are exposed to a high-temperature pulse (35 °C, 24 h) on day 0 or day 1, the incidence of diapause decreases. The temperature pulses on day 0 are more effective at diapause prevention. Staining of diapause eggs by the Feulgen–Rossenbeck method shows that the eggs enter diapause at the blastoderm stage, which is on day 1 or day 2 at 25 °C. The exposure of adults to long days and higher temperatures prevents the eggs from entering diapause. In D. nigrofasciatus , embryonic diapause is controlled by maternal effects, adult photoperiod and temperature, and egg temperature before or at diapause.  相似文献

【目的】本研究旨在明确外源保幼激素(juvenile hormone, JH)在中华通草蛉Chrysoperla sinica滞育快速解除过程中的使用剂量及最佳使用时期。【方法】测定点滴不同剂量(0, 5, 15, 25和35 μg/成虫)外源JH后中华通草蛉滞育成虫的产卵前期、产卵历期、雌虫寿命及单雌产卵量,以及15 μg/成虫外源JH处理对不同日龄(0, 5, 10, 20, 30和40日龄)滞育成虫处理后这4个指标的变化。【结果】在不同点滴剂量处理中,15和25 μg/成虫外源JH处理的中华通草蛉滞育成虫的产卵前期分别为6.82和6.29 d,显著短于点滴丙酮的对照组(10.55 d),且15 μg/成虫外源JH处理组产卵历期、雌虫寿命及单雌产卵量均最大,均显著大于对照组。不同日龄的中华通草蛉滞育成虫点滴15 μg/成虫外源JH,0, 5, 10和20日龄处理的成虫产卵前期均显著短于未经外源JH处理的对照组。10, 20和30日龄处理的成虫产卵历期和雌虫寿命均与未经外源JH处理的对照组无显著差异,但10, 20和30日龄处理的成虫生殖力显著降低,而20日龄处理时对照组和外源JH处理组均有较高的生殖力。【结论】综合考虑产卵前期、产卵历期、产卵量和雌虫寿命4个指标,15 μg/成虫的外源JH剂量是中华通草蛉快速解除滞育的最佳剂量;最佳使用时期为滞育20 d的成虫,此时对中华通草蛉成虫滞育解除后的生殖能力影响最小。本研究解决了中华通草蛉滞育解除耗费时间长的瓶颈问题,为成虫滞育天敌的高效存储利用与滞育的快速解除提供了新思路。  相似文献
