刈割对多年生黑麦草分蘖与叶片生长动态及生产力的影响   总被引:13,自引:0,他引:13  
对不同刈割强度和时间下 ,混播草地中多年生黑麦草净分蘖数和叶片生长季节动态及其年积累和年产量进行了 2年的比较研究。结果表明 :叶片净生长与净分蘖数季节动态具有相互弥补的特点。刈割不利于多年生黑麦草的分蘖 ,所有刈割处理均不存在分蘖的“超补偿生长”效应 ;净分蘖数随刈割次数的增加而降低 ;高频刈割对分蘖的抑制效应逐年加强 ,低频刈割对分蘖的抑制效应逐年减弱。叶片生长对刈割处理的超补偿效应显著 ;刈割能刺激多年生黑麦草叶片的生长 ,提高年净生产力 ,维持混播草地中黑麦草的组分 ,增强黑麦草的竞争能力。刈割对多年生黑麦草年净生产力的提高主要是通过刺激其叶片的生长来实现的。叶片净生长与净分蘖数的年积累存在显著负相关 (R=- 0 .893,P<0 .0 5)  相似文献

本文采用裂区试验设计,研究了刈割频率(强度)和品种对永久性混播草地组分白三叶草叶片生长的影响,并通过回归分析探讨了气候因子与白三叶草叶片生长的相关性。刈割对叶片出生率和每个葡萄茎现存叶片数的处理效应具季节依赖性特性,在夏季生长期,高频率刈割 处理。三叶草品种对叶片出生率和每葡萄茎观存叶片数均无显著的处理效应,但刈割与品种对秋初生长期叶片的出生率有显著的互作效应,对秋季生长期每葡萄茎现存叶片数有微弱  相似文献

采用非破坏性的田间观测方法,以主匍匐茎的叶片伤害数,叶片伤害率和叶片伤害程度3个变量为指标,综合评价了小型无脊椎动物对多年生黑麦草与白三叶的混播草地白三叶叶片的伤害程度,系统探讨了白三叶品种类型(Alice,Retor和Gwenda),刈割频率(高与低)及草地特征(如三叶含量,地上生物量和草层高度)对小型无脊椎动物对叶片伤害的影响。研究表明,高频率刈割的草地白三叶叶片总的伤害数及中等程度伤害的叶片数明显地高于低频率刈割处理(分别为21%和35%),另外,研究期总的叶片伤害数不同程度伤害的叶片数因白三叶品种的不同而存在着很大差异,且这种差异在春季,夏末和秋季等3个时期均十分明显,在这3个时期,在两种频率刈割下,均是品种Retor的叶片伤害数和叶片伤害率明显高于品种Alice和Gwenda,研究还表明,叶片的伤害与白三叶种群特征如白三叶含量和地上生物量存在显著的负相关,白三叶含量和地上生物量越低,则叶片的伤害数和伤害率就越高,回归模型显示,白三叶含量和地上生物量可以解释叶片的伤害数在春季,夏末,秋季各65%,59%和50%的变异,可以解释叶片伤害率在这3个时期各58%,57%和45%。  相似文献

4~ 10月 ,在亚热带高山人工草地 ,通过生长季割 2、4和 7次的刈割试验后发现 ,不同刈割频次对翌年白三叶能量分配、构件密度、分枝数量及分枝角度影响显著 .随刈割频次的增加 ,白三叶匍匐茎的能量分配递增 ,分别为 42 .8%、44 .9%、47.7% ,而单位长度茎所含能量递减 ,分别为 13 .0、12 .2和 11.1kJ·m-1;叶密度、茎密度、分枝数量及节间长度出现低→高→低的变化趋势 .提高刈割频次后 ,白三叶的分枝强度由 15分枝·m-1递增到 2 3 .7分枝·m-1;分枝角度由 49.5°递增到 60 .2° ,从而提高了白三叶种群在刈割干扰下对土壤微生境资源的利用率  相似文献

氮锌硒肥配合施用对白三叶的固氮作用与氮转移的影响   总被引:8,自引:2,他引:6  
在湖北省宜昌县百里荒草场山地黄棕壤上配合施用氮锌硒肥,研究其对混播白三叶,混播黑麦草及单播黑麦草的干重及混播白三叶的固氮作用和氮转移的影响,试验结果表明:(1)氮锌硒肥配合施用,混播黑麦草的干重均高于相应处理的单播黑麦草,混播牧草和单播黑麦草重最高的处理都是N46Zn0Se5,其干重辚25.38 g/盆和19.93g/盆。(2)施氮对混播白三叶,混播黑麦草及单播黑麦草的生长有明显的促进作用,施锌,硒对混播白三叶,混播黑麦草及单播黑麦草的生长作用不明显。(3)混播白三叶氮素的主要来源是固氮作用,占全氮产量的57.6000%-77.258%。(4)混播白三叶固定氮的转移量只占混播黑麦草的全氮产量的0.316%-12.251%,通过正交方差分析发现,适量氮肥(N30mg/kg)促进固定氮的转移,高量氮肥(N46mg/kg)抑制固定氮的转移。  相似文献

 对黑麦草(Lolium perenne)与白三叶(Trifolium repens)、鸭茅(Dactylis glomerata)、白茅(Imperata cylindrical)、芒(Miscanthus sinensis)、绣线菊(Spiraea japonica var. nepalensis)和地榆(Sanguisorba officinalis)等6种植物之间在不同压力和干扰条件下的竞争关系进行了试验研究,以便进一步探讨黑麦草草地群落退化演替的机理,为今后这种草地的有效管理提供科学依据。试验设置水分条件和土壤肥力两个压力因子处理及刈割频率和刈割强度两个干扰因子处理,其中,水分条件处理包括自然降水(1 800 mm)和自然降水+浇水(2 300 mm)两个水平;土壤肥力处理包括施肥0 kg·hm-2·a-1、75 kg·hm-2·a-1和150 kg·hm-2·a-1 3个水平;刈割频率处理包括每年刈割1、3、6次3个水平;刈割强度处理包括刈割留茬2 cm和10 cm 两个水平。在专门设计的固定试验装置中,按各种植物单植和分别与黑麦草混植的方法以相同密度种植植物,通过对各处理植物产量的测定,运用de Wit提出的植物相对拥挤系数(RCC),确定在不同压力和干扰条件下黑麦草对其它6种植物的竞争关系。试验表明,黑麦草对白三叶、鸭茅、地榆、白茅、芒、绣线菊的竞争力依次增强。同时,随着刈割次数的增加、水分条件和土壤肥力的提高,黑麦草的竞争力也明显增加,其中刈割次数对黑麦草竞争力变化的影响最大。另一方面,试验还表明,黑麦草等栽培牧草的生长速度和竞争力及耐刈割干扰程度均高于大部分野生杂草植物,但它们忍受环境压力的能力明显低于野生杂草植物,在环境压力大的地区,它们对杂类草的竞争力明显减弱,使得杂类草逐渐占优势。此外,分析表明,对于黑麦草来说,在试验的其它6种植物中绣线菊是压力忍耐(S)型植物;白三叶和鸭茅属于干扰忍耐(D)型植物;其它几种植物对压力和干扰的忍耐性处于中等水平。  相似文献

采用7种播种方式(3种单播和4种混播)和3种刈割留茬高度裂区试验,测定了青藏高原高寒地区人工建植3年的垂穗披碱草(Elymus nutans)、中华羊茅(Festuca sinensis)和羊茅(Festuca ovina)草地地上生物量、物种丰富度以及杂草生物量,以分析刈割对青藏高原人工草地初级生产力和物种丰富度的影响。结果显示:(1)在草地建植第2年,不刈割与刈割留茬60和20 mm的草地初级生产力均有显著差异;留茬60和20 mm刈割使单播草地的平均初级生产力分别降低20%和27%,使混播草地的平均初级生产力分别降低29%和37%。(2)草地建植第3年,不刈割、留茬60和20 mm 3个处理间的草地生产力均差异极显著;留茬60和20 mm刈割使单播草地的平均生产力分别降低19%和36%,使混播草地的平均生产力分别降低4%和18%。研究表明,刈割显著降低了人工草地的初级生产力,同时显著增加了垂穗披碱草单播草地的物种丰富度和杂草生物量以及3种牧草混播草地物种丰富度,其他播种草地的物种丰富度和杂草生物量与不刈割草地均无显著差异。  相似文献

通过对黑麦草(Lolium perenne L)在轻度、中度、重度、全割刈割处理6 d和12 d后,残留叶片和叶片再生部分生长速率,超氧化物歧化酶(SOD)、过氧化物酶(POD)和过氧化氢酶(CAT)活力,丙二醛、可溶性糖、脯氨酸含量的分析以揭示在刈割胁迫后叶片抗氧护酶活力和渗透调节物含量与其补偿性生长的关系,以及牧草耐刈性的生理调控机理。结果表明,轻度和中度及全割后叶片生长速率均高于对照,重度刈割低于对照。全割后叶片补偿性生长最明显、轻度和中度次之,重度刈割无补偿性生长。对照黑麦草叶片各部位抗氧化酶和渗透调节物含量不同,叶片顶部MDA含量较高,伴随着较高的SOD、CAT活力和较高的脯氨酸含量;叶片基部MDA含量最低,SOD、CAT活力及脯氨酸含量也较低。与对照相比,不同强度刈割6 d黑麦草再生叶和叶片平均MDA含量、SOD和CAT活力、可溶性糖和脯氨酸含量均较低。而不同强度刈割12 d,黑麦草再生叶和叶片平均MDA含量仍较低,但SOD和CAT活力增高,脯氨酸含量增加,POD活力和可溶性糖含量低于对照。这表明刈割在减少了叶面积,降低光合能力的同时,刈割伤害胁迫启动了牧草补偿性生长使残留叶片快速生长,而且残留叶片面积与其补偿生长速率成正相关。另外,虽然不同强度刈割下叶片补偿性生长速率不同,但不同强度刈割(12 d)均激活残留叶片抗氧化保护酶系统和促进脯氨酸积累。在补偿生长过程中,CAT和SOD能及时清除残留叶片中积累的氧自由基,维持较低的膜脂过氧化和细胞膜完整性,积累的脯氨酸能维护细胞水分平衡。因此,抗氧化酶(SOD和CAT)和渗透调节物(脯氨酸)在黑麦草刈割后受伤部位快速自愈及残留叶片快速补偿生长中起重要生理保护作用。  相似文献

为明确不同刈割处理对黄顶菊生长和生理特性的影响,本研究在田间条件下,对黄顶菊在生长季内不同时间进行刈割处理。结果表明,刈割降低了黄顶菊植株各部分的生物量积累,其中以刈割3次效果最为显著,使黄顶菊总生物量、根生物量、茎生物量、叶生物量分别较对照下降82.57%、44.53%、80.04%、91.76%;植株的高度和花序数随刈割次数的增加显著降低,其中刈割3次的花序数为0;刈割1次植株分枝数最大,出现超补偿现象,刈割3次分枝数显著低于其他处理;叶绿素含量除了刈割2次出现增高趋势外,随刈割次数的增加,叶绿素含量逐渐降低;刈割处理使黄顶菊净光合速率(Pn)、气孔导度(Cond)和蒸腾速率(Tr)均显著升高;刈割3次的PSⅡ的最大光化学效率(Fv/Fm)和PSⅡ的潜在活性(Fv/F0)显著低于其它各处理,而初始荧光(F0)则显著增加;生长指标的可塑性指数大于生理指标可塑性指数,表明前者在黄顶菊对刈割处理等物理措施适应方面起到了更为重要的作用。总之,刈割3次处理黄顶菊的各项生长和生理指标所受影响最大,对黄顶菊植株的再生和开花结实抑制效果最为理想。  相似文献

以羊草分别与沙打旺、兴安胡枝子、花苜蓿、紫花苜蓿、山野豌豆5种豆科牧草在混播数量比为1:0、2:1、1:2、0:1的条件下建立两物种混播草地,以相对产量、相对密度和相对产量总值为指标,比较各个混播草地中种间竞争的相对激烈程度;各个物种组合的种间竞争优势以及是否发生氮素资源分离;并探索不同禾-豆混播群落达到共存状态的可能途径.研究结果表明,各个禾-豆组合的相对产量总值分别在不同收获时期大于1,禾草与豆科牧草的生态位发生了不同程度的分离.沙打旺和紫花苜蓿对羊草具有显著的竞争优势,即使其种内竞争大于种间竞争时,混生的羊草亦受到强烈的种间竞争压力.与此相反,羊草对兴安胡枝子、花苜蓿和山野豌豆具有种间竞争优势.刈割对竞争双方的优劣地位产生很大影响,减少强竞争力物种的混播比例,可促进混播物种双方均受益,形成共存格局.实验采用的相对密度指标在预测未来混播种群组成上比相对产量更为可行,并且具有维持低个体大小、高构件密度能力是竞争关系中忍耐型物种能够长期存在的可能原因之一.  相似文献

Regrowth after cutting and the distribution of nitrogen (N),phosphorus (P) and potassium (K) in different plant organs ofwhite clover and perennial ryegrass growing in pure or mixedswards were investigated under field conditions in a soil witha low-to-moderate availability of P and K. In all treatments,white clover constituted more than 70% of the above-ground biomassin the mixed swards. The petioles were the dominant pool ofdry matter throughout regrowth and contained the greatest amountsof N, P and K. Increased supply of P and K increased the growthof ryegrass, but not that of white clover in the mixed swards.The increased competition from ryegrass led to a decline inthe yield of white clover laminae as well as in the N contentper unit of dry matter in laminae, petioles and stolons. TheP content of all white clover organs also declined followingP application to the mixed swards, whereas K application increasedtheir K contents. In the pure swards of ryegrass and white clover,yields and contents of N, P and K in the dry matter were eithernot affected or increased following P and K application. Itwas concluded that commonly-used defoliation heights may remove80% or more of the nutrient and dry matter pools located inthe petioles but the remaining quantities of dry matter andnutrients in the petioles will normally exceed the correspondingquantities in the stolons. Perennial ryegrass and perennial ryegrass/white clover permanent dairy pastures are compared with respect to productivity, environmental impact and financial costs in nitrate vulnerable zones (NVZ) in the UK. With appropriate management, and utilisation of recommended perennial ryegrass and white clover cultivars, white clover is likely to stabilise at around 20% of total dry matter production in a mixed pasture. Plant dry matter production and milk production from a perennial ryegrass/white clover pasture are likely to be similar to that from a perennial ryegrass pasture receiving 200 kg N ha−1 annum−1 and around 70% of that obtained with perennial ryegrass supplied with 350–400 kg N ha−1 annum−1. Nitrate, phosphorus and methane losses from the system and decreases in biodiversity relative to a grazed indigenous sward are likely to be similar for a perennial ryegrass/white clover pasture and a perennial ryegrass pasture receiving 200 kg N ha−1 annum−1: nitrate leachate from both systems is likely to comply with European legislation. Greenhouse gas emissions resulting from nitrogen (N) fertiliser production would be avoided with the perennial ryegrass/white clover pasture. Within NVZ stocking rate restrictions, white clover can provide the N required by a pasture at a lower financial cost than that incurred by the application of N fertiliser.  相似文献

The benefits of using white clover in pastures have been widely recognised for many years. However, clover is perceived as being unreliable because of its typically low content, which is spatially and temporally variable, in mixed pastures. One proposed solution to increase the proportion of clover in the diet of grazing animals and composition in the pasture is to spatially separate clover from grass within the same field. In a field experiment ryegrass and white clover were grown in fine mixtures, and in pure alternating strips of ryegrass and clover of 1.5 m, 3 m or 18 m width within a field. Pastures were grazed for two grazing periods of 9 and 12 weeks, and measurements of sward surface height (SSH), herbage mass and composition and clover morphology were taken. Grazing behaviour was also observed. Results showed that spatial separation in the long term, when compared with a fine mixture, increased clover availability (18% to 30% v. 9%, based on standing dry matter) and was not grazed to extinction. Ewes maintained their preference for clover throughout the experiment (selection coefficient 2 to 5), which resulted in a reduction in the SSH of clover in monocultures to <3 cm and significant changes to the morphology of clover (smaller leaves, shorter petioles and thicker stolon), at the expense of maximising their intake. Spatial separation in the short term may therefore allow grazing animals to select their preferred diet; however, in the long term in continuously grazed pasture, their preference for clover depletes its availability.  相似文献

Ten contrasting white clover populations were grown as spaced plants, in pure clover swards and in mixed swards with S.23 perennial ryegrass. Four of the populations were also tested for tolerance of low temperatures. In the establishment year, the autumn yields of populations were correlated with leaf size. However, during the severe winter which followed, populations with large leaves, particularly those of Mediterranean origin, suffered extensive stolon kill. This winter damage reduced the spring yields and total annual yields of populations with large leaves, so that leaf size and total annual yield were not correlated in the year after sowing. Stolon kill was positively correlated with autumn growth activity as measured by leaflet size and stolon internode length in October. Stolon kill during winter was correlated with cold tolerance of naturally-hardened stolon apices, assessed in artificial cold tests.  相似文献

Effects of time of initial cut and subsequent cutting interval(1, 2 or 4 weeks) were examined in a glasshouse during summer1988 for reproductive plants of three prairie grass cultivars(Bromus willdenowii Kunth), Westerwolds ryegrass (Lolium multiflorumLam.) and perennial ryegrass (Lolium perenne L.). Measurementswere made of tiller and leaf numbers, sites of tillering, reproductivedevelopment, and herbage quality and yields. Effect of timeof initial cutting on regrowth appeared to be independent ofstage of reproductive development and unrelated to any of themeasured plant parameters. Characteristics for each cultivaras identified during undisturbed growth prior to the initialcuts, were modified by the subsequent cutting frequencies. Perennial ryegrass had the highest yields under frequent cuttingwith high herbage quality. Westenwolds ryegrass and the prairiegrass cultivars ‘Grasslands Matua’ and ‘Primabel’had the highest yields with infrequent cutting, but lower herbagequality than in perennial ryegrass. At each cut, tiller deathin prairie grass was determined by the number of reproductivetillers, and in the ryegrasses also by the numbers of elongatedvegetative tillers. Recovery of tiller numbers was rapid andprimarily from inhibited tiller buds at the base of reproductivetillers. In prairie grass, tiller numbers were relatively unaffectedby cutting frequency, but at frequent cutting, many axillarytillers originated from vegetative tillers rather than frominhibited tiller buds at the base of reproductive tillers. The effects of applied nitrogen (N) on dynamics of regrowth, dry matter (DM) allocation and leaf characteristics of grass and clover were investigated. Binary mixtures and monocultures of the diploid perennial ryegrass cultivars Barlet (erect) and Heraut (prostrate) and the white clovers cvs. Alice (large-leaved) and Gwenda (small-leaved) were established in a field experiment. Grass monocultures received three levels of N application (0, 140 or 280 kg N ha–1), and mixtures 150 kg N ha–1 (+N) or no N (–N). N was applied split over the season. Application of N reduced the average clover content in the DM of the mixtures from 43 to 12%. Due to defoliation, clover lost relatively more leaf area and less DM than grass, leading to a lower clover fraction in the leaf area index (LAI) of the stubble at the start of the next regrowth. In the –N mixtures, the clover fraction of the biomass and of the LAI increased within successive regrowth periods. In the +N mixtures, large-leaved Alice maintained its content during summer, mainly due to its greater petiole length which increased in response to N. The opposite was observed for Gwenda. At each harvest, the content of small-leaved Gwenda in the LAI and DM was lower than in the stubble at the start of regrowth. The allocation of DM to the petioles of Alice led to a decrease in the leaf weight ratio (LWR) in the +N mixtures, while Gwenda had a higher LWR and specific leaf area (SLA) in the +N mixtures than in the –N mixtures. There was little or no effect of ryegrass cultivar on competition with white clover.  相似文献

Increasing plant species diversity has been proposed as a means for enhancing annual pasture productivity and decreasing seasonal variability of pasture production facing more frequent drought scenarios due to climate change. Few studies have examined how botanical complexity of sown swards affects cow performance. A 2-year experiment was conducted to determine how sward botanical complexity, from a monoculture of ryegrass to multi-species swards (MSS) (grasses-legumes-forb), affect pasture chemical composition and nutritive value, pasture dry matter (DM) intake, milk production and milk solids production of grazing dairy cows. Five sward species: perennial ryegrass (L as Lolium), white clover and red clover (both referred to as T as Trifolium because they were always sown together), chicory (C as Cichorium) and tall fescue (F as Festuca) were assigned to four grazing treatments by combining one (L), three (LT), four (LTC) or five (LTCF) species. Hereafter, the LT swards are called mixed swards as a single combination of ryegrass and clovers, whereas LTC and LTCF swards are called MSS as a combination of at least four species from three botanical families. The experimental area (8.7 ha) was divided into four block replicates with a mineral nitrogen fertilisation of 75 kg N/ha per year for each treatment. In total, 13 grazing rotations were carried out by applying the same grazing calendar and the same pasture allowance of 19 kg DM/cow per day above 4 cm for all treatments. Clover represented 20% of DM for mixed and MSS swards; chicory represented 30% of DM for MSS and tall fescue represented 10% of DM for LTCF swards. Higher milk production (+1.1 kg/day) and milk solids production (+0.08 kg/day) were observed for mixed swards than for ryegrass swards. Pasture nutritive value and pasture DM intake were unaffected by the inclusion of clover. Pasture DM, organic matter and NDF concentrations were lower for MSS than for mixed swards. Higher milk production (+0.8 kg/day), milk solids production (+0.04 kg/day) and pasture DM intake (+1.5 kg DM/day) were observed for MSS than for mixed swards. These positive effects of MSS were observed for all seasons, but particularly during summer where chicory proportion was the highest. In conclusion, advantages of grazing MSS on cow performance were due to the cumulative effect of improved pasture nutritive value and increased pasture DM intake that raised milk production and milk solids production.  相似文献

To increase our insight into the above- and belowground N flows in grass and grass-clover swards relations between crop and soil parameters were studied in a cutting trial with perennial ryegrass (Lolium perenne) monocultures and ryegrass–white clover (Trifolium repens) mixtures. The effects of clover cultivar on herbage yield, the amount of clover-derived nitrogen, apparent N transfer to companion grass, dynamics of N and organic matter in the soil were estimated.The grass monocultures had very low DM yields (<2.1 t ha-1) and a low N concentration in the harvested herbage. During 1992–1995 the annual herbage DM yield in the mixtures ranged from 7.0 to 14.3 t ha-1, the white clover DM yield from 2.4 to 11.2 t ha-1 and the mean annual clover content in the herbage DM harvested from 34 to 78%. Mixtures with the large-leaved clover cv. Alice yielded significantly more herbage and clover DM and had a higher clover content than mixtures with small/medium-leaved cvs. Gwenda and Retor. Grass cultivar did not consistently affect yield, botanical composition or soil characteristics.The apparent N2 fixation was very high, ranging from 150 to 545 kg N ha-1 in the different mixtures. For each tonne of clover DM in the harvested herbage 49 to 63 kg N was harvested, while the apparent N transfer from clover to grass varied between 55 and 113 kg N ha-1 year-1.The net N mineralization rate was lower under monocultures than under mixtures. The C mineralization and the amounts of C and N in active soil organic matter fractions were similar for monocultures and mixtures, but the C:N ratio of the active soil organic matter fractions were higher under grass than under mixtures. The response of overwintered stolons of nine contrasting white clover populations to temperature, photoperiod and natural conditions was studied in six environments during the spring. Rate of leaf appearance, leaflet length, petiole length, stolon internode length, dry matter distribution within the plant and total dry weight were measured on 15 plants of each population/environment combination. Most characters, except leaf size and proportion of dry matter allocated to leaf, responded positively to temperature in the range 10 – 20°C. A positive effect of photoperiod extension was also found for all characters except rate of leaf appearance, internode length and distribution of dry matter to leaf. Population differences in response to environment were found which were related to both leaf size classification and origin. Stolon dry weight was positively correlated with leaf length, petiole length and stolon internode length in most environments. The relationships between the eight characters were often complex and canonical variate analysis provided a convenient way to discriminate between the populations based on all eight characters.  相似文献
