枯枝落叶作为森林生态系统中净第一性生产力的重要组成部分,是物质循环过程中的一个物质库,起着涵养水分,减少地表蒸发,改善土壤肥力,防止水土流失的重要作用。油松(Pinus tabulaeformis)和侧柏(Platicladus orientalis)是我国北方山区防护林的主要造林树种,目前多为人工纯林。这种针叶纯林一般生长缓慢,郁闭较迟,保持水土的能力也较差,并易受自然灾害的影响,从而不能有效地  相似文献

崖柏与侧柏光合特性和叶绿素荧光参数的比较研究   总被引:3,自引:0,他引:3  
以盆栽的中国特有濒危植物崖柏及其近缘广布种侧柏幼苗为材料,测定了二者的光照和二氧化碳响应特征参数、光合作用气体交换参数和叶绿素荧光参数,比较分析两者间差异并探讨崖柏异地保存的可行性。结果显示:(1)在光响应参数方面,崖柏和侧柏的表观量子效率分别为0.039和0.027 mol.mol-1,但二者差异不显著;崖柏的光补偿点(81.04μmol.m-2.s-1)显著高于侧柏(59.72μmol.m-2.s-1),但二者的最大净光合速率(Pmax)、光饱和点(LSP)和暗呼吸速率(Rd)均无显著差异;崖柏的CO2补偿点(129.17μmol.mol-1)显著高于侧柏(95.86μmol.mol-1),而光呼吸速率则崖柏略高于侧柏,但二者的羧化效率相当。(2)气体交换参数方面,崖柏的叶片气孔导度和蒸腾速率均低于侧柏,而瞬时水分利用效率和气孔限制值则略高于侧柏;随着光照强度增加,崖柏和侧柏的净光合速率和胞间CO2浓度增加,而气孔限制值则降低。(3)2个树种的叶绿素荧光参数,如初始荧光、最大荧光、可变荧光、光系统Ⅱ原初光能转换效率、光系统Ⅱ实际光化学量子效率、非光化学猝灭等均无显著差异,但崖柏光化学猝灭系数(0.218)显著低于侧柏(0.322)。研究表明,崖柏与侧柏在光合特性和叶绿素荧光参数方面具有较大的相似性,也表明崖柏在生长季对北迁环境具有较强的适应性。  相似文献

侧柏乙醇提取物对21种植物病原真菌的抑菌活性   总被引:8,自引:1,他引:7  
采用菌丝生长速率法测定了侧柏(Platycladus orientalis)叶、小枝、球果和种子4个不同部位乙醇提取物对21种植物病原真菌的抑菌活性。结果显示:(1)在供试浓度为50g/L(相当于干样)时,侧柏各部位乙醇提取物对4种供试植物病原真菌均具有较好抑制作用,其中侧柏叶提取物的抑菌效果最好,对供试葡萄白腐病菌(Conio-thyrium diplodiella)、葡萄黑痘病菌(Elsinoe ampelina)、番茄绵腐病菌(Phytophthora melongenae)和青霉病菌(Penicilliu mexpansum)的EC50分别为:5.424、3.186、8.913和19.000g/L。(2)侧柏叶乙醇提取物的石油醚萃取物和乙酸乙酯萃取物抑菌活性均较好,在供试浓度为0.5g/L时,石油醚萃取物对苹果腐烂病菌(Valsa mali)和葡萄黑痘病菌(E.ampelina)的抑菌率分别为80.35%和60.23%;乙酸乙酯萃取物对以上2种植物病原菌的抑菌率分别为81.88%和64.06%。结果表明:侧柏叶、小枝、球果和种子乙醇提取物均具有一定抑菌活性,叶乙醇提取物的活性最好,活性成分主要集中在石油醚萃取物和乙酸乙酯萃取物中。  相似文献

为研究Granier原始公式计算单株树木蒸腾耗水量的准确性,以侧柏作为研究对象,采用热消散方法测定在15、30、50、70和90cm水柱高度形成不同压力梯度下的树干液流通量密度,并以称重法作为对照,利用回归分析方法拟合称重法测定的液流通量密度与热消散法测定的树干液流温差系数(K值),进而建立校正公式.结果表明:基于侧柏校正的Granier公式为Fd=0.0115K0.5581(R2=0.8319).与称重法测定的液流通量密度相比,校正的Granier公式计算的结果略高(6.70±0.02)%,而Granier原始公式计算的则低估(78.53±0.04)%.由此可知,采用校正的Granier公式计算侧柏的液流通量密度具有较高的精度.  相似文献

水分利用效率(WUE)是衡量植物抗旱性的一个重要指标,研究其动态变化及其影响因素能为北京山区植被建设提供参考.本研究基于稳定碳同位素技术,通过测定北京山区侧柏人工林在生长季的水分利用效率,探究气象因子、土壤因子和大气CO2浓度对侧柏短期WUE的影响.结果表明: 1)侧柏生长季内的短期WUE呈现先降低后增加的变化特征,7月侧柏的短期WUE最低(2.69 mmol·mol-1),10月侧柏的短期WUE最高(13.88 mmol·mol-1).2)叶内外水汽压差(VPD)、大气温度(Ta)、土壤湿度(Ms)、空气相对湿度(RH)和大气CO2浓度(Ca)是植物WUE的影响因素,5个影响因素对侧柏短期WUE变化的累计解释率达89.7%;太阳辐射(Ra)和风速(Ws)与侧柏短期WUE没有显著关系.3)VPD和Ta是影响侧柏短期WUE的主要因素,两者组成的主成分可以解释53.9%的侧柏短期WUE变化,其中VPD对侧柏短期WUE的影响高于Ta;Ms和RH是影响侧柏短期WUE的次要因素,两者组成的主成分可以解释25.4%的侧柏短期WUE变化,其中Ms对植物短期WUE的影响高于RH;Ca对侧柏短期WUE的影响较小,主要由CaTa组成的主成分可以解释10.3%的侧柏短期WUE变化.  相似文献

对植物水分利用效率的研究,可以揭示植物的内在耗水机制,为区域森林生态系统经营与维护提供依据.本研究以侧柏幼树为研究对象,通过室内控制试验设置不同的土壤水分梯度,分别用气体交换法和稳定同位素法对其不同土壤含水量条件下的瞬时水分利用效率(WUEgs)和短期水分利用效率(WUEcp)进行研究.结果表明:受气孔导度(gs)的影响,叶片净光合速率(Pn)和蒸腾速率(Tr)随土壤含水量的增加呈现相同的变化趋势,均在土壤含水量为70%~80%田间持水量(FC)时达到最大值;叶片WUEgs则在土壤含水量最低(35%~45% FC)时达到最大值(7.26 mmol·m-2·s-1).叶片可溶性糖、枝条韧皮部渗出液的δ13C都在土壤含水量最低(35%~45% FC)条件下达到最大值,且叶片可溶性糖的δ13C明显高于枝条韧皮部渗出液的δ13C,未产生明显分馏;而叶片WUEcp也在土壤含水量最低(35%~45% FC)时达到最大值(7.26 mmol·m-2·s-1).相同条件下,叶片WUEgs和WUEcp存在一定差异(平均相差0.52 mmol·m-2·s-1),WUEgs时空变异性较大,而WUEcp更具有代表性.侧柏幼树通过降低生理生态活动和提高水分利用效率来适应干旱的土壤条件.  相似文献

为了解Granier热扩散法测定树木蒸腾耗水量的精度,2010年5-6月采用热扩散探针测定盆栽侧柏的液流量,并以整树盆栽称重法作为对照.结果表明:热扩散法测定侧柏南、北两个方位的树干液流速率与称重法测定的蒸腾速率均具有良好的线性关系(R2 >0.825).侧柏南、北两个方位的树干平均日液流量分别比平均日蒸腾量低10.6%和15.1%,但未达到显著水平.尽管昼夜温差较大会造成侧柏日液流量小于日蒸腾量,但采用Granier热扩散法测定侧柏的蒸腾量在日尺度上具有较高的可靠性.  相似文献

氢氧稳定同位素是广泛存在于自然界水体中的环境同位素,其在不同水体中组成特征的差异可以指示水分循环过程及植物用水机制.本研究在北京山区选取了两种主要的绿化树种——常绿针叶林侧柏和落叶阔叶林栓皮栎为研究对象,通过对降水、土壤水、泉水、植物茎干水和叶片水同位素的变化特征进行分析,讨论了水分在大气-土壤-植物连续体中的运动过程.结果表明: 研究区大气降水线方程为δD=7.17δ18O+1.45(R2=0.93), 土壤蒸发线方程为δD=3.85δ18O-38.02(R2=0.76), 降水入渗补给土壤水的过程中存在一定程度的蒸发分馏.在不同季节,降水、土壤水和泉水δD和δ18O值变化规律不同;雨季,δD和δ18O平均值大小为降水>地下水>土壤水,降水和土壤水共同补充地下水;旱季,δD和δ18O值大小排序为降水> 土壤水>地下水,降水和地下水都对土壤水有贡献.侧柏和栓皮栎年内茎干水分δD和δ18O的拟合线性方程分别为δD=5.03δ18O-30.78 和δD=3.0δ18O-48.92,栓皮栎利用的土壤水分相对于侧柏更加富集,其水分来源深度更浅.栓皮栎叶片水分同位素变化特征相对于侧柏对大气微环境的反应更加敏感,且其叶片水分蒸发和同位素动力分馏程度更强,但是它们对环境条件的变化反应一致.  相似文献

Feeding ecology of three small fish species, Hypseleotris swinhonis, Ctenogobius giurinus and Pseudorasbora parva was studied seasonally in the Biandantang Lake, a small, shallow lake in central China. Gut length, adjusted for total body length, was significantly higher in spring than in other seasons for all the three species. Seasonal changes in gut length were not associated with changes in food quality. Weight of fore-gut contents, adjusted for body weight, was significantly higher in winter and spring than in summer and autumn in H. swinhonis and C. giurinus , and significantly higher in autumn than in spring and summer for P. parva. Percentage of empty fore-guts was highest in summer and lowest in spring for H. swinhonis and C. giurinus , and highest in winter and lowest in autumn for P. parva. Diet of the three small fishes showed apparent seasonal changes, and these changes reflected partly the seasonal fluctuations of food resources in environment. Diet breadth was high in winter and low in autumn for H. swinhonis , high in winter and low in spring and summer for C. giurinus , and high in autumn and low in spring for P. parva. Diet overlaps between pairs of species were biologically significant in most cases, except between H. swinhonis and P. parva in summer and autumn and between C. giurinus and P. parva in autumn.  相似文献

The present study investigated whether the increase of apoptosis in the placenta is associated with intrauterine fetal death in prostaglandin F receptor-deficient mice. Apoptosis was demonstrated within placental and decidual tissue by the TUNEL method. The majority of apoptosis was found in syncytiotrophoblast tissues. Enhanced TUNEL-positive staining in the syncytiotrophoblast layer was scattered in the placental tissues in clusters of apoptotic cells in the death group. Marked TUNEL-positive cells were identified in decidua of both groups. The rate of apoptosis in the placenta and decidua in the death group was higher than that in the survival group (P < 0.05). Immunohistochemical analysis showed that the level of active caspase-3 protein expression in the placenta in the death group was much higher than that in the survival group. The level of Bcl-2 protein expression in the placenta in the death group was much lower than that in the survival group. Western blot analysis demonstrated that increased expression of the active form of caspase-3 was detected in the placenta and decidua in the death group compared with that in the survival group. In contrast, a decrease in the expression of Bcl-2 was detected in the placenta and decidua in the death group compared with that in the survival group. Enhanced expression of Bax:Bcl-2 ratio was detected in placenta and decidua in the death group compared with that in the survival group. Thus, significantly increased apoptosis in the mouse placenta and decidua might be involved in the pathophysiologic mechanism of intrauterine fetal death.  相似文献

Variation in male lifetime breeding success (LBS) is central to understanding selection, yet it has rarely been measured in natural populations of large mammals. Here, we first describe variation in the opportunity for selection in cohorts of Soay rams (Ovis aries) on the archipelago of St. Kilda, Scotland, that were born during years of varying population density. Variation in LBS is closely coupled with demography, as rams born in years of low density following population crashes enjoy greater LBS than do those born in high-density years. Paradoxically, the opportunity for selection was greatest in the largest cohorts, those born in years of high population density, owing to low juvenile breeding success and overwinter survival. Variation in longevity and the contribution of nonbreeders were the most important components of the total variance in LBS in cohorts born in years of high density, while variation in fecundity was more important in cohorts born in low-density years. The opportunity for sexual selection is thus stronger in cohorts born in low-density years, as many rams in these cohorts survive to compete for mates as adults in subsequent ruts. Variation in population density in the year of birth also influenced the intensity of selection. Individuals born in years of high population density underwent strong natural selection in favor of longer hindlimbs over their first winter. In contrast, in cohorts born in low-density years, there was no natural selection on hindlimb in the first year of life. Longer hindlimbs were associated with increased fecundity over the entire lifetime of individuals born in low-density years. Natural and sexual selection thus act on the same trait in the same direction at different life-history stages in Soay rams, depending on the population density experienced in the year of birth.  相似文献

Changes in the activity of proteases (cathepsin D and calpains) caused by 48-h food withdrawal were studied in the brain, liver, kidney, spleen, and heart of 3-, 12-, and 24-month-old Fischer rats. Cathepsin D activity was similar in brain, liver, and heart of control animals; in kidney it was 5-fold higher and in spleen about 10-fold higher. With age, activity increased in all organs tested except spleen. Brief starvation caused no change of cathepsin D activity in brain, but caused an increase in liver and a decrease in spleen. Neutral proteolytic activity in control was highest in the pons-medulla-cerebellum fraction of brain, and activity in liver and heart was below that in brain. Activity increased with age in brain and decreased in other organs. Brief starvation in young animals caused an increase in activity in brain, and a decrease in liver and spleen. Isolated calpain II activity was high in control brain. It increased with age in the cerebrum. Brief starvation resulted in a decrease in the brain. The results indicate that the protease content of the brain is altered with age and in malnutrition, with changes not being the same for all proteases, and changes in brain being different from those in other organs.Special issue dedicated to Dr. Louis Sokoloff.  相似文献

The density of 23 macroinvertebrate species and the total macroinvertebrate biomass were compared between rice-fields treated with lindane and diazinon in June and alphamethine in August and untreated controls. The macroinvertebrates could be divided into four groups: (1) Taxa, in which the densities were lower in the insecticide treatment in July and August than in the non-insecticide treatment. (2) The Culicidae which occurred in the insecticide treatment in significantly lower density in July, but in significantly higher density in August. (3) Ischnura elegans (Vander L.) which was found in July after the lindane application in significantly higher numbers in the insecticide treatments, but in significantly lower numbers in the insecticide treatment in August after the application of the pyrethroid. In these three groups, we assumed that direct effects due to the insecticides toxicity were the reason for the differences in density. (4) The fourth group included three taxa in which the densities were significantly higher in the insecticide treatment in July and August than in the control. For this, indirect effects due to reduced biotic interactions may be responsible. The biomass was higher in the insecticide treatments in July, mainly because of a high increase in gastropod density, during the rest of the season it was similar between treatments and controls.  相似文献

OBJECTIVES--To evaluate the success of the south Powys hydatid control programme by analysis of trends in cystic disease in humans and sheep and dog infestation. DESIGN--A review of hospital admissions for human hydatid disease in 1984-90, abattoir prevalence surveys of hydatid cysts in adult sheep, arecoline acetarsol and coproantigen surveys of prevalence of Echinococcus infestation in dogs. SETTING--All hospitals in England and Wales, three abattoirs, and dog populations in mid ands south east Wales. SUBJECTS--Residents of England and Wales admitted to hospital between 1984 and 1990 with a new diagnosis of human hydatid disease (International Classification of Diseases (ICD), ninth revision, code 122) acquired in the United Kingdom. RESULTS--The average annual incidence of human hydatid disease in Powys, mid-Wales, fell from 3.9x10(-5) in 1974-83 to 2.3x10(-5) in 1984-90. Age specific incidence rates in Wales declined over this period only in children, and no cases occurred in children (<15 years) in Powys. Two Welsh children who lived in Gwent and mid-Glamorgan were infected. Prevalence of hydatid cysts in old sheep from south Wales declined during the control period, but in 1993 prevalence of cysts was 13%. Prevalence of E granulosus infestation was zero in the control area in 1993, but it was 2.4% in Powys dogs outside the control area in 1989 and 9.2% in dogs in Gwent in 1991. CONCLUSIONS--Human hydatid disease has been successfully controlled in south Powys but cystic echinococcosis is still endemic in sheep in mid-Wales, and there is a focus of infection in humans, sheep, and dogs in the bordering areas of Gwent and mid-Glamorgan. There is considerable potential for an upsurge in human cases if control measures are relaxed.  相似文献

We previously reported association of eNOS with actin increases eNOS activity. In the present study, regulation of activity of eNOS by actin cytoskeleton during endothelial growth was studied. We found eNOS activity in PAEC increased when cells grew from preconfluence to confluence. eNOS activity was much greater in PAEC in higher density than those in lower density, suggesting increase in eNOS activity during cell growth is caused by increase in cell density. Although eNOS protein contents were also increased when endothelial cells grew from preconfluence to confluence, magnitude of increase in eNOS activity was much higher than increase in eNOS protein content, suggesting posttranslational mechanisms played an important role in regulation of eNOS activity during endothelial growth. Confocal fluorescence microscopy revealed eNOS was colocalized with G-actin in preconfluent cells in perinuclear region, with both G-actin in perinuclear area and cortical F-actin in plasma membrane in confluent cells. There was more beta-actin coimmunoprecipitated with eNOS in Triton X-100-soluble fraction in confluent cells in later growth phase and in high density. Decrease in eNOS association with beta-actin by silencing beta-actin expression using beta-actin siRNA causes inhibition of eNOS activity, NO production, and endothelial monolayer wound repair in PAEC. Moreover, PAEC incubation with cytochalasin D and jasplakinolide resulted in increases in eNOS/actin association and in eNOS activity without changes in eNOS protein content. Yeast two-hybrid experiments suggested strong association between eNOS oxygenase domain and beta-actin. These results indicate increase in eNOS association with actin is responsible for greater eNOS activity in confluent PAEC.  相似文献

Seedling explants of Bambusa arundinacea were cultured in a Murashige & Skoog (MS) based liquid medium, supplemented with sucrose (2), coconut water (5) and 6-benzylaminopurine (2.2 μM). In 3–6 months about 70 of the cultures flowered. A comparison was made between in vitro and in vivo flowering. Though smaller in size, in vitro florets were morphologically comparable to the in vivo florets. Anthesis in in vivo flowering took place in the morning hours. It was more or less synchronized and was dependent on the atmospheric temperature and humidity. The lemma and palea opened to expose both androecium and gynoecium to the pollinating agent (wind). In in vitro flowering, some florets opened as in their in vivo counterparts, some did not open but the anthers protruded from the tip of the partially opened lemma and palea. Anthesis was not synchronized under in vitro conditions. Pollen fertility in in vivo and in vitro flowerings were approximately 93 and 31 respectively. Studies by scanning electron microscopy showed some discrepancies in the pollen wall development in vitro. The trifid stigmas of in vivo florets were highly feathery with many papillae and withered soon after pollination or within few hours. The stigmas of in vitro developed florets were smaller with fewer and stouter papillae. They remained turgid for relatively longer periods. Seed production in in vivo flowering was profuse whereas in in vitro flowering seeds were produced only when many florets opened at the same time, in the same culture vessel. Dark respiration in light as well as in dark was estimated for attached leaves of an evergreen (Heteromeles arbutifolia Ait.) and a deciduous (Lepechinia fragans Greene) shrub species using an open gas-exchange system. Dark respiration in light was estimated by the Laisk method. Respiration rates in the dark were always higher than in the light, indicating that light inhibited respiration in both species. The rates of respiration in the dark were higher in the leaves of the deciduous species than in the evergreen species. However, there were no significant differences in respiration rates in light between the species. Thus, the degree of inhibition of respiration by light was greater in the deciduous species (62%) than in the evergreen species (51%). Respiration in both the light and darkness decreased with increasing leaf age. However, because respiration in the light decreased faster with leaf age than respiration in darkness, the degree of inhibition of respiration by light increased with leaf age (from 36% in the youngest leaves to 81% in the mature leaves). This suggests that the rate of dark respiration in the light is related to the rate of biosynthetic processes. Dark respiration in the light decreased with increasing light intensity. Respiration both in the light and in the dark was dependent on leaf temperature. We concluded that respiration in light and respiration in darkness are tightly coupled, with variation in respiration in darkness accounting for more than 60% of the variation in respiration in light. Care must be taken when the relation between respiration in light and respiration in darkness is studied, because the relation varies with species, leaf age, and light intensity.  相似文献

Tryptophan, copper and zinc levels were determined in the hair of 300 healthy subjects divided by sex, age and hair colour. Sex influences tryptophan content in hair, the levels of this amino acid being higher in males than in females. Tryptophan is also higher in infancy (2-5 years) and in both males and females aging around 80 years and over. Hair colour also influences tryptophan levels, which increase from fair to black hair. Copper levels are similar in hair of both males and females, while those of zinc are higher in women. Age influences the distribution of these two metals in human hair. Copper contents in hair of males are higher at the age 20-40 years. In females, values decrease over the age of 60 years. Instead, zinc levels are higher between 20 and 60 years in males, and between 13 and 19 years in females. As regards hair colour, copper is slightly higher in black hair in males and in fair hair in females, and lower in white hair in both sexes. Zinc values appear to be higher in red and lower in white hair in males. In females they are higher in black hair.  相似文献
