Two tetracyanometalate building blocks, [Fe(5,5′-dmbipy)(CN)4]? (2) and [Fe(4,4′-dmbipy)(CN)4]? (3) (5,5′-dmbipy = 5,5′-dimethyl-2,2′-bipyridine; 4,4′-dmbipy = 4,4′-dimethyl-2,2′-bipyridine), and two cyano-bridged heterobimetallic complexes, [Cu2(bpca)2(H2O)2Fe2(5,5′-dmbipy)2(CN)8] · 2[Cu(bpca)Fe(5,5′-dmbipy)(CN)4] · 4H2O (4) and [Cu(bpca)Fe(4,4′-dmbipy)(CN)4]n (5) (bpca = bis(2-pyridylcarbonyl)amidate), have been synthesized and structurally characterized. Complex 4 contains two dinuclear and one tetranuclear heterobimetallic clusters in an asymmetric unit whereas the structure of complex 5 features a one-dimensional heterobimetallic zigzag chain. The Cu(II) ion is penta-coordinated in the form of a distorted square-based pyramid. Magnetic studies show ferromagnetic coupling between Cu(II) and Fe(III) ions with g = 2.28, J1 = 2.64 cm?1, J2 = 5.40 cm?1 and TIP = ?2.36 × 10?3 for complex 4, and g = 2.17, J = 4.82 cm?1 and zJ = 0.029 cm?1 for complex 5.  相似文献

The bimetallic [M1M2(tren)2(CAn?)]m+ series, where M = GaIII or CrIII and CA is the chloranilate ligand which can take on diamagnetic (CAcat,cat)4? or paramagnetic (CAsq,cat)3? forms, comprises an electronically diverse series of compounds ranging from the closed-shell [Ga2(tren)2(CAcat,cat)]2+ to the S = 5/2 ground state of [Cr2(tren)2(CAsq,cat)]3+. This report deals with the interpretation of the EPR and ENDOR spectra of [Ga2(tren)2(CAsq,cat)](BPh4)2(BF4) (2) and the related derivative [Ga2(tren)2(DHBQ)](BPh4)2(BF4) (2a) (where DHBQ is the fully deprotonated trianionic form of 2,5-dihydroxy-1,4-benzoquinone) in an effort to further characterize the electronic structure of this radical species. The X-band (~9.5 GHz) EPR spectrum of complex 2 acquired in a butyronitrile/propionitrile glass at 4 K reveals a rhombic g-tensor with gxx = 2.0100, gyy = 2.0097, and gzz = 2.0060 with hyperfine interactions due to spin delocalization onto the two Ga nuclei (axx = 4.902 G, ayy = 4.124 G, azz = 3.167 G); the origin of the hyperfine coupling was confirmed by analysis of the room temperature spectra of complexes 2 and 2a. The low-temperature spectrum of complex 2 also indicates the presence of a triplet electronic state characterized by a g-value of 2.009 and axial zero-field splitting of D = 150 G (0.012 cm?1) as determined from measurements carried out at both X- and W-band (~95 GHz) frequencies. This triplet state is believed to arise due to a weak intermolecular Heisenberg exchange interaction between two aggregating complexes. ENDOR measurements on complex 2a at 20 K allowed for a determination of the magnitude of hyperfine coupling to the protons associated with the radical bridge as well as providing a rare example of an ENDOR signal arising from coupling to a gallium nucleus. Finally, these results were combined with literature data on the free semiquinone form of the bridging ligand in order to assess the extent to which density functional theory can predict unpaired spin density distribution in a complex molecule of this type. Although differences between theory and experiment were noted, DFT was able to provide a reasonably accurate picture of the electronic structure of this system as well as provide insight into the spin polarization mechanism(s) responsible for the observed hyperfine interactions.  相似文献

The interactions of a ruthenium porphyrin complex [(Py-3′)TPP-Ru(phen)2Cl]Cl (phen = 1,10-phenanthroline, (Py-3′)TPP = 5-(3′-pyridyl-10,15,20-triphenylporphyrin) (1) and its heterometallic derivatives, [Ni(Py-3′)TPP-Ru(phen)2Cl][PF6] (2) and [Cu(Py-3′)TPP-Ru(phen)2Cl][PF6] (3), with calf thymus DNA have been investigated by spectroscopic and viscosity measurements in this study. The results showed that these synthetic complexes can bind to double strand helix DNA in groove binding mode, and the intrinsic binding constants of complexes 1, 2 and 3, as calculated according to the decay of the Soret absorption, are (1.35 ± 0.5) ×105 M?1 (s = 4.2), (1.29 ± 0.5) × 105 M?1 (s = 5.6) and (1.22 ± 0.5) × 105 M?1 (s = 6.2) (s is the binding-site size), respectively, which are consistent with those obtained from ethidium bromide-quenching experiments. Further investigations on the photocleavage properties of these complexes on plasmid pBR 322 DNA showed that complexes 1, 2 and 3 could cleave single chain DNA and convert DNA molecules from supercoiled form to the nicked form. As determined by MTT assay, the complexes were also identified as potent antiproliferative agents against A375 human melanoma cells, MCF-7 human breast adrenocarcinoma cells, Colo201 human colon adenocarcinoma cells and HepG2 human liver cancer cells. Complex 1 inhibits the growth of A375 cells through induction of apoptotic cell death and G0/G1 cell cycle arrest. Further investigation on intracellular mechanisms indicated that Complex 1 induced depletion of mitochondrial membrane potential (ΔΨm) in A375 cells through regulating the expression of pro-survival and pro-apoptotic Bcl-2 family members. Our results suggest that ruthenium porphyrin complexes could be candidates for further evaluation as chemopreventive and chemotherapeutic agents for human cancers.  相似文献

Two new complexes of composition [Cu(2-NO2bz)2(3-pyme)2(H2O)2] (1) and/or [Cu{3,5-(NO2)2bz}2(3-pyme)2] (2) (3-pyme = 3-pyridylmethanol, ronicol or 3-pyridylcarbinol, 2-NO2bz = 2-nitrobenzoate and 3,5-(NO2)2bz = 3,5-dinitrobenzoate) have been prepared and studied by elemental analysis, electronic, infrared and EPR spectroscopy, magnetic susceptibility measurements and the structure of both complexes has been solved. Complex (1) shows an unusual molecular type of structure consisting of the [Cu(2-NO2bz)2(3-pyme)2(H2O)2] molecules held together by hydrogen bonds and van der Waals interactions. Complex (2) exhibits a polymeric chain-like structure [Cu{3,5-(NO2)2bz}2(3-pyme)2]n with copper atoms doubly bridged by two 3-pyridylmethanol molecules and the polymeric molecules are held together by van der Waals interactions. Complex (1) exhibits a magnetic moment μeff = 1.84 B.M. at 300 K that remains nearly constant within the temperature region (5–300 K). Further cooling results in lowering the magnetic moment to μeff = 1.82 B.M. at 1.8 K. The magnetic susceptibility temperature dependence obeys Curie–Weiss law with Curie constant of 0.423 cm3 K mol−1 and with Weiss constant of −0.06 K. The magnetic moment of (2) exhibits a small increase with a decrease in the temperature (μeff = 1.80 B.M. at 300 K and μeff = 1.85 B.M. at 1.8 K) with Curie constant of 0.409 cm3 K mol−1 and with Weiss constant of +1.1 K, which can indicate a very weak ferromagnetic interaction between the copper atoms within the chain. Applying the molecular field model resulted in obtaining zJ′ values −0.08 cm−1 for complex (1), and −0.07 cm−1 for complex (2), respectively, that could characterize intermolecular and interchain interactions transmitted through π–π stacking.  相似文献

A series of new cobalt(III) complexes were prepared. They are [CoL1(py)3]·NO3 (1), [CoL2(bipy)(N3)]·CH3OH (2), [CoL3(HL3)(N3)]·NO3 (3), and [CoL4(MeOH)(N3)] (4), where L1, L2, L3 and L4 are the deprotonated form of N′-(2-hydroxy-5-methoxybenzylidene)-3-methylbenzohydrazide, N′-(2-hydroxybenzylidene)-3-hydroxylbenzohydrazide, 2-[(2-dimethylaminoethylimino)methyl]-4-methylphenol, and N,N′-bis(5-methylsalicylidene)-o-phenylenediamine, respectively, py is pyridine, and bipy is 2,2′-bipyridine. The complexes were characterized by infrared and UV–Vis spectra, and single crystal X-ray diffraction. The Co atoms in the complexes are in octahedral coordination. Complexes 1 and 4 show effective urease inhibitory activities, with IC50 values of 4.27 and 0.35 μmol L−1, respectively. Complex 2 has medium activity against urease, with IC50 value of 68.7 μmol L−1. While complex 3 has no activity against urease. Molecular docking study of the complexes with Helicobacter pylori urease was performed.  相似文献

Two μ-alkoxo-μ-carboxylato bridged dinuclear copper(II) complexes, [Cu2(L1)(μ-HCO2)] (1) ((H3L1 = 1,3-bis(5-bromosalicylideneamino)-2-propanol)), [Cu2(L2)(μ-HCO2)] · dmf (2) (H3L2 = 1,3-bis(3,5-chlorosalicylideneamino-2-propanol)), and two μ-alkoxo-μ-dicarboxylato doubly bridged tetranuclear copper(II) complexes, [{Cu2(L3)}2(μ-O2C–C(CH3)2–CO2)] · 5H2O · 3CH3OH (3) ((H3L3 = 1,3-bis(salicylid-deneamino)-2-propanol)) and [{Cu2(L3)}2(μ- O2CCH2–C6H4–CH2CO2)] · 2H2O (4) have been prepared and characterized. The single crystal X-ray analysis shows that the structures of complexes 1 and 2 are dimeric with two adjacent copper(II) atoms bridged by μ-alkoxo-μ-carboxylato ligands with the Cu⋯Cu distances and Cu–O(alkoxo)–Cu angles are 3.511 Å and 132.85° for 1, 3.517 Å and 131.7° for 2, respectively. Complexes 3 and 4 consist of μ-alkoxo-μ-dicarboxylato doubly bridged tetranuclear Cu(II) complexes with mean Cu–Cu distances and Cu–O–Cu angles of 3.158 Å and 108.05° for 3 and 3.081 Å and 104.76° for 4, respectively. Magnetic measurements reveal that 1 and 2 are strong antiferromagnetically coupled with 2J = −156 and −152 cm−1, respectively, while 3 and 4 exhibit ferromagnetic coupling with 2J = 86 and 155.2 cm−1, respectively. The 2J values of 14 are linearly correlated to the Cu–O–Cu angles. Dependence of the pH at 25 °C on the reaction rate of oxidation of 3,4-di-tert-butylcatechol (3,5-dtbc) to the corresponding quinone catalyzed by 14 was studied. Complexes 14 exhibit high catecholase-like activity at pH 9.0 and 25 °C for oxidation of 3,5-di-tert-butylcatechol.  相似文献

A series of alkynylgold(I) bis(diphenylphosphino)alkyl- and aryl-amine complexes, [{Ph2PN(R)PPh2}Au2(CCR′)2] [R = nPr, R′ = Ph (1), C6H4OMe-p (2), C6H4Me-p (3), C6H4Cl-p (4); R = C6H4OMe-p, R′ = Ph (5)], has been synthesized. The X-ray crystal structures of 1 and 2 revealed the presence of short intramolecular Au⋯Au contacts with the distances of 2.8404(8) and 3.0708(7) Å. Three series of homologous dendritic amphiphiles—RCONHC(CH2CH2COOH)3, 1(n); ROCONHC(CH2CH2COOH)3, 2(n); RNHCONHC(CH2CH2COOH)3, 3(n), where R = n-CnH2n+1 and n = 13–22 carbon atoms—were assayed for their potential to serve as antimicrobial components in a topical vaginal formulation. Comparing epithelial cytotoxicities to the ability of these homologues to inhibit HIV, Neisseria gonorrhoeae, and Candida albicans provided a measure of their prophylactic/therapeutic potential. Measurements of the ability to inhibit Lactobacillus plantarum, a beneficial bacterium in the vagina, and critical micelle concentrations (CMCs), an indicator of the potential detergency of these amphiphiles, provided additional assessments of safety. Several amphiphiles from each homologous series had modest anti-HIV activity (EC50 = 110–130 μM). Amphiphile 2(18) had the best anti-Neisseria activity (MIC = 65 μM), while 1(19) and 1(21) had MICs against C. albicans of 16 and 7.7 μM, respectively. Two measures of safety showed promise as all compounds had relatively low cytotoxic activity (EC50 = 210–940 μM) against epithelial cells and low activity against L. plantarum, 1(n), 2(n), and 3(n) had MICs ? 490, 1300, and 940 μM, respectively. CMCs measured in aqueous triethanolamine and in aqueous potassium hydroxide showed linear dependences on chain length. As expected, the longest chain in each series had the lowest CMC—in triethanolamine: 1(21), 1500 μM; 2(22), 320 μM; 3(22), 340 μM, and in potassium hydroxide: 1(21), 130 μM; 3(22), 40 μM. The CMC in triethanolamine adjusted to pH 7.4 was 400 μM for 1(21) and 3900 μM for 3(16). The promising antifungal activity, low activity against L. plantarum, relatively high CMCs, and modest epithelial cytotoxicity in addition to their anti-Neisseria properties warrant further design studies with dendritic amphiphiles to improve their safety indices to produce suitable candidates for antimicrobial vaginal products.  相似文献

The synthesis, crystallographic analysis and magnetic studies of six new copper(II) complexes of formulae [Cu(μ-ala)(im)(H2O)]n(ClO4)n (1), [Cu(μ-ala)(pz)(μ-ClO4)] (2), [Cu(μ-phe)(im)(H2O)]n(ClO4)n (3), [Cu(μ-gly)(H2O)(ClO4)]n (4), [Cu(μ-gly)(pz)(ClO4)]n(5) and [Cu(μ-pro)(pz)(ClO4)]n (6) have been carried out (ala = alanine; phe = phenylalanine; gly = glycine; pro = proline; im = imidazole; pz = pyrazole). In all cases, the deprotonated aminoacid ligand acts as chelate through the N(amine) and one O(carboxylato), whereas the second O atom of the same carboxylato acts as a bridge to the neighbouring copper(II) ion. The coordination of copper(II) ions is square-pyramidal in all complexes but 2 (elongated Oh). All complexes (16) are uniform chains with syn–anti (equatorial–equatorial) coordination mode of the carboxylato bridging ligand, exhibiting intrachain ferromagnetic interactions.  相似文献

The present study was undertaken to gain insight into the associations of mercury(II) with dicysteinyl tripeptides in buffered media at pH 7.4. We investigated the effects of increasing the distance between cysteinyl residues on mercury(II) associations and complex formations. The peptide–mercury(II) formation constants and their associated thermodynamic parameters in 3-(N-morpholino)propanesulfonic acid (MOPS) buffered solutions were evaluated by isothermal titration calorimetry. Complexes formed in different relative ratios of mercury(II) to cysteinyl peptides in ammonium formate buffered solutions were characterized by LTQ Orbitrap mass spectrometry. The results from these studies show that n-alkyl dicysteinyl peptides (CP 14), and an aryl dicysteinyl peptide (CP 5) can serve as effective “double anchors” to accommodate the coordination sites of mercury(II) to form predominantly one-to-one Hg(peptide) complexes. The aryl dicysteinyl peptide (CP 5) also forms the two-to-two Hg2(peptide)2 complex. In the presence of excess peptide, Hg(peptide)2 complexes are also detected. Notably, increasing the distance between the ligating groups or “anchor points” in CP 15 does not significantly affect their affinity for mercury(II). However, the enthalpy change (ΔH) values (ΔH1  −91 kJ mol−1 and ΔH2  −66 kJ mol−1) for complex formation between CP 4 and 5 with mercury(II) are about one and a half times larger than the related values for CP 1, 2 and 3H1  −66 kJ mol−1 and ΔH2  46 kJ mol−1). The corresponding entropy change (ΔS) values (ΔS1  −129 J K−1 mol−1 and ΔS2  −116 J K−1 mol−1) of the structurally larger dicysteinyl peptides CP 4 and 5 are less entropically favorable than for CP 1, 2 and 3S1  −48 J K−1 mol−1 and ΔS2  −44 J K−1 mol−1). Generally, these associations result in a decrease in entropy, indicating that these peptide–mercury complexes potentially form highly ordered structures. The results from this study show that dicysteinyl tripeptides are effective in binding mercury(II) and they are promising motifs for the design of multi-cysteinyl peptides for binding more than one mercury(II) ion per peptide.  相似文献

X-ray structural and NMR spectroscopic data for the ring-opened thiophene complexes [Pd(dippe)(T)] (2), and [Pt(dippe)(T)] (3) are now presented. The complex [Ni(dippe)(T)] (1), where T = 2-C,S-C4H4S), was reported by our group, previously.The structural and bonding properties of complexes 2 and 3 were compared with those of complex 1. DFT calculations were carried out to rationalize their relative stabilities and structural properties. Compound 1 loses thiophene at ambient temperature in solution, while compound 2 decomposes rapidly in both acetone-d6 and THF-d8 with kobs = 7.15(9) × 10−5 and 7.7(3) × 10−5 s−1, respectively, to give products that varied by solvent. Complex 3 does not lose thiophene at temperatures below 100 °C. The ΔG0 values determined from DFT calculations are consistent with the observed stabilities of the complexes. The single crystal X-ray structures of all three complexes contain a disordered thienyl fragment in the asymmetric unit due to the interchange of the position of sulfur in the metal-inserted thiophenic ring. The thiophenic moiety is relatively flat in 1, 2 and 3, which is attributed to the open ligand environment at the M(dippe) fragment. All three complexes possess square-planar geometry around the metal center and have bond-length alternation among the thiophenic carbons, which indicates double bond localization. The calculated bond lengths are in good agreement with experimental data. Molecular orbital (MO) and natural bonding orbital (NBO) analyses were carried out to rationalize the results.  相似文献

The trimethyltin(IV) polymer [(Me3Sn)2(nip) · EtOH]n (1) of 5-nitroisophthalic acid (H2nip) and its three derivatives with mixed organic N-donor ligands 2,2′-bipy [(Me3Sn)2(nip) · 2H2O] · [(Me3Sn)2(nip) · H2O] · 2(2,2′-bipy) (2) 4,4′-bipy {[(Me3Sn)2(nip)]2(4,4′-bipy)}n (3) or phen [(Me3Sn)2(nip) · H2O] · (phen) (4) have been synthesized by the reaction of trimethyltin(IV) chloride and H2nip when sodium ethoxide was added in the presence of 2,2′-bipy 4,4′-bipy or phen. All complexes 14 were characterized by elemental, IR, 1H, 13C, and 119Sn NMR spectroscopy and X-ray crystallography analyses. Crystal, data collection and structure refinement parameters for complexes 1, 2, 3 and 4 are shown in Table 1, Table 2, respectively. The X-ray data showed the geometries of all the tin atoms in complexes 14 are trigonal bipyramidal. The X-ray analysis of 1 showed that the structure was a polymeric infinite chain with neighboring triorganotin centers being linked by dicarboxylate ligands and hydrogen bonds were found between adjacent chains. For 2, two different monomers were found, in one monomer, Me3Sn were coordinated to both carboxyl groups of the ligand and water molecules were coordinated to the two Sn(IV) centers. In the other monomer, water molecules were coordinated to only one Sn center. Co-crystallized2,2′-bipy was found in 2 and a 2D supermolecular structure was formed via O–H⋯O and O–H⋯N (N atoms derived from 2,2′-bipy) hydrogen bonds. In 3 however, a 2D polymeric block was formed due to the inversion center of the 4,4′-bipy. For 4, due to the O–H⋯O and O–H⋯N (N atoms derived from phen) hydrogen bonds and intermolecular Sn⋯O bonds, a 2D polymeric structure was formed.  相似文献

The following Schiff bases were employed as ligands in synthesizing copper(II) and zinc(II) complexes: N-[(2-pyridyl)-methyl]-salicylimine (Hsalampy), N-[2-(N,N-dimethyl-amino)-ethyl]-salicylimine (Hsaldmen), and N-[(2-pyridyl)-methyl]-3-methoxy-salicylimine (Hvalampy). The first two ligands were obtained by reacting salicylaldehyde with 2-aminomethyl-pyridyne and N,N-dimethylethylene diamine, respectively, while the third one results from the condensation of 3-methoxysalicylaldehyde with 2-aminomethyl-pyridine. Four new coordination compounds were synthesized and structurally characterized: [Cu(salampy)(H2O)(ClO4)] 1, [Cu2(salampy)2(H2trim)2] 2 (H2trim? = the monoanion of the trimescic acid), [Cu4(valampy)4](ClO4)4 · 2CH3CN 3, and [Zn3(saldmen)3(OH)](ClO4)2 · 0.25H2O 4. The crystal structure of 1 consists of supramolecular dimers resulted from hydrogen bond interactions established between mononuclear [Cu(salampy)(H2O)(ClO4)] complexes. Compound 2 is a binuclear complex with the copper ions connected by two monoatomic carboxylato bridges arising from two molecules of monodeprotonated trimesic acid. The crystal structure of 3 consists of tetranuclear cations with a heterocubane {Cu4O4} core, and perchlorate ions. Compound 4 is a trinuclear complex with a defective heterocubane structure. The magnetic properties of complexes 13 have been investigated. Compound 4 exhibits solid-state photoluminescence at room temperature.  相似文献

Four new palladium(II) complexes with the formula Pd(L)2, where L are quinoxaline-2-carbonitrile N1,N4-dioxide derivatives, were synthesized as a contribution to the chemistry and pharmacology of metal compounds with this class of pharmacologically interesting bioreductive prodrugs. Compounds were characterized by elemental, conductometric and thermogravimetric analyses, fast atom bombardment mass spectrometry (FAB-MS) and electronic, Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) and 1H-nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopies. The complexes were subjected to cytotoxic evaluation on V79 cells in hypoxic and aerobic conditions. In addition, a preliminary study on interaction with plasmid DNA in normoxia was performed. Complexes showed different in vitro biological behavior depending on the nature of the substituent on the quinoxaline ring. Pd(L1)2 and Pd(L2)2, where L1 is 3-aminoquinoxaline-2-carbonitrile N1,N4-dioxide and L2 is 3-amino-6(7)-methylquinoxaline-2-carbonitrile N1,N4-dioxide, showed non selective cytotoxicity, being cytotoxic either in hypoxic or in aerobic conditions. On the other hand, Pd(L3)2, where L3 is 3-amino-6(7)-chloroquinoxaline-2-carbonitrile N1,N4-dioxide, resulted in vitro more potent cytotoxin in hypoxia (P = 5.0 μM) than the corresponding free ligand (P = 9.0 μM) and tirapazamine (P = 30.0 μM), the first bioreductive cytotoxic drug introduced into clinical trials. In addition, it showed a very good selective cytotoxicity in hypoxic conditions, being non-cytotoxic in normoxia. Its hypoxic cytotoxicity relationship value, HCR, was of the same order than those of other hypoxia selective cytotoxins (i.e., Mitomycine C, Misonidazole and the N-oxide RB90740). Interaction of the complexes with plasmid DNA in normoxia showed dose dependent ability to relax the negative supercoiled forms via different mechanisms. Pd(L2)2 introduced a scission event in supercoiled DNA yielding the circular relaxed form. Meanwhile, both Pd(L1)2 and Pd(L3)2 produced the loss of negative supercoils rendering a family of topoisomers with reduced electrophoretic mobility. Pd(L3)2 showed a more marked effect than Pd(L1)2. Indeed, for the highest doses assayed, Pd(L3)2 was even able to introduce positive supercoils on the plasmid DNA.  相似文献

A series of nickel(II) and palladium(II) complexes containing one or two pentafluorophenyl ligands and the phosphino-amides o-Ph2PC6H4CONHR [R = iPr (a), Ph (b)] displaying different coordination modes have been synthesised. The chelating ability of these ligands and the influence of both coligands and the metal centre in their potential hemilabile behaviour have been explored. The crystal structure of (b) has been determined and reveals N–H⋯O intermolecular hydrogen bonding. Bis-pentafluorophenyl derivatives [M(C6F5)2(o-Ph2PC6H4CO-NHR)] [M = Ni; R = iPr (1a); R = Ph (1b); M = Pd; R = iPr (2a); R = Ph (2b)] in which (a) and (b) act as rigid P, O-chelating ligands were readily prepared from the labile precursors cis-[M(C6F5)2(PhCN)2]. X-ray structures of (1a), (1b) and (2a) have been established, allowing an interesting comparative structural discussion. Dinuclear [{Pd(C6F5)(tht)(μ-Cl)}2] reacted with (a) and (b) yielding the monopentafluorophenyl complexes [Pd(C6F5)Cl{PPh2(C6H4–CONH–R)}] (R = iPr (3a), Ph (3b)) that showed a P, O-chelating behaviour of the ligands, confirmed by the crystal structure determination of (3a). New cationic palladium(II) complexes in which (a) and (b) behave as P-monodentate ligands have been synthesised by reacting them with [{Pd(C6F5)(tht)(μ-Cl)}2], stoichiometric Ag(O3SCF3) and external chelating reagents such as cod [Pd(C6F5)(cod){PPh2(C6H4-CONH-R)}](O3SCF3)(R = iPr (4a), Ph (4b)) and 2,2-bipy [Pd(C6F5)(bipy){PPh2(C6H4-CONH-R)}](O3SCF3) (R = iPr (5a), Ph (5b)). When chloride abstraction in [{Pd(C6F5)(tht)(μ-Cl)}2] is promoted by means of a dithioanionic salt as dimethyl dithiophospate in the presence of (a) or (b), the corresponding neutral complexes [Pd(C6F5){S(S)P(OMe)2}{PPh2(C6H4-CONH-R)}] (R = iPr (6a), Ph (6b)) were obtained.  相似文献

Two dinuclear nickel(II) complexes, [Ni2(L-Et)(N3)(H2O)3](NO3)2 · 2H2O (1) and [Ni2(L-Et)(μ-1,3-N3)(H2O)2](NO3)2 · 4H2O (2) containing (HL-Et = N,N,N′,N′-tetrakis[(1-ethyl-2-benzimidazolyl)methyl]-2-hydroxy-1,3-diaminopropane), have been synthesized and characterized by their IR and UV–Vis spectra and magnetic susceptibilities. The crystal structures of [Ni2(L-Et)(N3)(H2O)3](NO3)2 · CH3OH (1′) and [Ni2(L-Et)(μ-1,3-N3)(H2O)2](NO3)2 · 2C2H5OH (2′) similar to 1 and 2 were determined by X-ray crystallography. In 1′, the two nickel(II) ions are bridged by only an alkoxo group of L-Et, while an azido and an alkoxo connect two nickel(II) ions in 2′. Magnetic susceptibility measurements (2–300 K) showed a weak ferromagnetic exchange coupling between the two nickel(II) ions (2J = 10.1 cm−1) for 1. On the other hand, antiferromagnetic interactions were observed for 2 (2J = −15.8 cm−1).  相似文献

Two new platinum(II) complexes, trans-[Pt(2-mpy)2]·4H2O (1) and [PtCl(2-pyc)(2-hmpy)]·H2O (2), where 2-hmpy = 2-(hydroxymethyl)pyridine, 2-mpy = deprotonated 2-hmpy and 2-pyc = pyridine-2-carboxylate, have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, IR, NMR, and X-ray crystallography. The DNA binding affinities of these complexes for Fish Sperm DNA (FS-DNA) were investigated using fluorescence, viscosity, thermal denaturation and gel electrophoresis measurements. Fluorescence analysis indicates that complex 1 binds to DNA by a single intercalative mechanism, while complex 2 exhibits two types of interactions such as intercalation and covalent binding. Gel electrophoresis assay demonstrates ability of the complexes to cleavage the supercoiled pBR322 plasmid DNA. The in vitro cytotoxicities of both complexes were preliminarily evaluated and the cytotoxicity of complex 1 against the human lung cancer cells (H1299) is similar to oxaliplatin, but higher than transplatin and carboplatin.  相似文献

Two new pseudohalide-bridged copper(II) complexes [{Cu(PBH)(μ1,1-CNO)}2] (1) and {Cu(PBH)(μ1,5-NCNCN)}n (2) (where HPBH = 2-pyridinecarboxaldehyde benzoyl hydrazone) have been synthesised and characterised by elemental analysis, CV, IR and UV–Vis spectral studies. The tridentate hydrazone pro-ligand (HPBH) was obtained by the condensation of benzhydrazide and pyridine-2-carboxaldehyde. Structures of both complexes have been established by X-ray crystallography which shows that 1 is a μ1,1-CNO?-bridged dimer whereas 2 is a μ1,5-dca-bridged (dca = dicyanamide) linear polynuclear structure. Variable temperature magnetic susceptibility studies indicate weak antiferromagnetic interactions with J values ?0.50 cm?1 and ?0.10 cm?1 for 1 and 2, respectively.  相似文献

A group of cyclic imides (110) was designed for evaluation as a selective COX-2 inhibitors and investigated in vivo for their anti-inflammatory activity. Compounds 6a, 6b, 8a, 8b, 9a, 9b, 10a and 10b were proved to be potent COX-2 inhibitors with IC50 range of 0.1–4.0 μM. In vitro COX-1/COX-2 inhibition structure–activity studies identified compound 8a as a highly potent (IC50 = 0.1 μM), and an extremely selective [COX-2 (SI) > 1000] comparable to celecoxib [COX-2 (SI) > 384], COX-2 inhibitor that showed superior anti-inflammatory activity (ED50 = 72.4 mg/kg) relative to diclofenac (ED50 = 114 mg/kg). Molecular modeling was carried out through docking the designed compounds into the COX-2 binding site to predict if these compounds have analogous binding mode to the COX-2 inhibitors. The study showed that the homosulfonamide fragment of 8a inserted deep inside the 2°-pocket of the COX-2 active site, where the SO2NH2 group underwent H-bonding interaction with Gln192(2.95 Å), Phe518(2.82 Å) and Arg513(2.63 and 2.73 Å). Docking study of the synthesized compound 8a into the active site of COX-2 revealed a similar binding mode to SC-558, a selective COX-2 inhibitor.  相似文献
