Targeting of tyrosinase has proven to be the best means of identifying safe, efficacious, and potent tyrosinase inhibitors for whitening skin. We designed and synthesized ten NAB (N-(acryloyl)benzamide) derivatives (1a–1j) using the Horner-Wadsworth-Emmons olefination of diethyl (2-benzamido-2-oxoethyl)phosphonate and appropriate benzaldehydes. A mushroom tyrosinase inhibitory assay showed compounds 1a (36.71 ± 2.14% inhibition) and 1j (25.99 ± 2.77% inhibition) inhibited tyrosinase more than the other eight NAB derivatives and kojic acid (21.56 ± 2.93% inhibition), and docking studies indicated 1a (−6.9 kcal/mole) and 1j (−7.5 kcal/mole) had stronger binding affinities for tyrosinase than kojic acid (−5.7 kcal/mole). At a concentration of 25 μM, 1a and 1j were nontoxic in B16F10 melanoma cells and exhibited stronger tyrosinase inhibition (59.70% and 76.77%, respectively) than kojic acid (50.30% inhibition) or arbutin (41.78% inhibition at 400 μM). Similarly, in B16F10 melanoma cells, compounds 1a and 1j at 25 μM decreased total melanin content by 47.97% and 61.77%, respectively (kojic acid; 38.98%). Similarities between inhibitions of tyrosinase activity and melanin contents suggested the anti-melanogenic effects of 1a and 1j were due to tyrosinase inhibition. The excellent DPPH scavenging activity of 1j suggests it might enhance in vivo effect on melanin contents. The study suggests compound 1j offers a potential starting point for the development of safe, potent tyrosinase inhibitors.  相似文献

Tyrosinase enzyme plays a crucial role in melanin biosynthesis and enzymatic browning process of vegetables and fruits. A series of veratric acid derivatives containing benzylidene-hydrazine moieties with different substitutions were synthesized and their inhibitory effect on mushroom tyrosinase and free radical scavenging activity were evaluated. The results indicated that N′-(4-chlorobenzylidene)-3,4-dimethoxybenzohydrazide (D5) and N′-(2,3-dihydroxybenzylidene)-3,4-dimethoxybenzohydrazide (D12) showed the highest tyrosinase inhibitory activity with IC50 values of 19.72 ± 1.84 and 20.63 ± 0.79 μM, respectively, that were comparable with the IC50 value of kojic acid (19.08 ± 1.21 μM). D12 was also a potent radical scavenger with EC50 value of 0.0097 ± 0.0011 mM. The free radical scavenging activity of D12 was comparable with the standard quercetin. The inhibition kinetic analyzed by Lineweaver-Burk plots revealed that compound D5 was a competitive tyrosinase inhibitor. Molecular docking study was carried out for the derivatives demonstrating tyrosinase inhibitory activity. D5 and D12 possessed the most negative estimated free energies of binding in mushroom tyrosinase active site. Therefore, D5 and D12 could be introduced as potent tyrosinase inhibitors that might be promising leads in medicine, cosmetics and food industry.  相似文献

During our continued search for strong skin whitening agents over the past ten years, we have investigated the efficacies of many tyrosinase inhibitors containing a common (E)-β-phenyl-α,β-unsaturated carbonyl scaffold, which we found to be essential for the effective inhibition of mushroom and mammalian tyrosinases. In this study, we explored the tyrosinase inhibitory effects of 2,3-diphenylacrylic acid (2,3-DPA) derivatives, which also possess the (E)-β-phenyl-α,β-unsaturated carbonyl motif. We synthesized fourteen (E)-2,3-DPA derivatives 1a1n and one (Z)-2,3-DPA-derivative 1l′ using a Perkin reaction with phenylacetic acid and appropriate substituted benzaldehydes. In our mushroom tyrosinase assay, 1c showed higher tyrosinase inhibitory activity (76.43 ± 3.53%, IC50 = 20.04 ± 1.91 µM) with than the other 2,3-DPA derivatives or kojic acid (21.56 ± 2.93%, IC50 = 30.64 ± 1.27 μM). Our mushroom tyrosinase inhibitory results were supported by our docking study, which showed compound 1c (−7.2 kcal/mole) exhibited stronger binding affinity for mushroom tyrosinase than kojic acid (−5.7 kcal/mole). In B16F10 melanoma cells (a murine cell-line), 1c showed no cytotoxic effect up to a concentration of 25 μM and exhibited greater tyrosinase inhibitory activity (68.83%) than kojic acid (49.39%). In these cells, arbutin (a well-known tyrosinase inhibitor used as the positive control) only inhibited tyrosinase by 42.67% even at a concentration of 400 μM. Furthermore, at 25 µM, 1c reduced melanin contents in B16F10 melanoma cells by 24.3% more than kojic acid (62.77% vs. 38.52%). These results indicate 1c is a promising candidate treatment for pigmentation-related diseases and potential skin whitening agents.  相似文献

Abnormal melanogenesis results in excessive production of melanin, leading to pigmentation disorders. As a key and rate-limiting enzyme for melanogenesis, tyrosinase has been considered an important target for developing therapeutic agents of pigment disorders. Despite having an (E)-β-phenyl-α,β-unsaturated carbonyl scaffold, which plays an important role in the potent inhibition of tyrosinase activity, cinnamic acids have not attracted attention as potential tyrosinase inhibitors, due to their low tyrosinase inhibitory activity and relatively high hydrophilicity. Given that cinnamic acids’ structure intrinsically features this (E)-scaffold and following our experience that minute changes in the chemical structure can powerfully affect tyrosinase activity, twenty less hydrophilic cinnamamide derivatives were designed as potential tyrosinase inhibitors and synthesised using a Horner-Wadsworth-Emmons reaction. Four of these cinnmamides (4, 9, 14, and 19) exhibited much stronger mushroom tyrosinase inhibition (over 90% inhibition) at 25 µM compared to kojic acid (20.57% inhibition); crucially, all four have a 2,4-dihydroxy group on the β-phenyl ring of the scaffold. A docking simulation using tyrosinase indicated that the four cinnamamides exceeded the binding affinity of kojic acid, and bound more strongly to the active site of tyrosinase. Based on the strength of their tyrosinase inhibition, these four cinnamamides were further evaluated in B16F10 melanoma cells. All four cinnamamides, without cytotoxicity, exhibited higher tyrosinase inhibitory activity (67.33 – 79.67% inhibition) at 25 μM than kojic acid (38.11% inhibition), with the following increasing inhibitory order: morpholino (9) = cyclopentylamino (14) < cyclohexylamino (19) < N-methylpiperazino (4) cinnamamides. Analysis of tyrosinase activity and melanin content in B16F10 cells showed that the four cinnamamides dose-dependently inhibited both cellular tyrosinase activity and melanin content and that their inhibitory activity at 25 μM was much better than that of kojic acid. The results of melanin content analysis well matched those of the cellular tyrosinase activity analysis, indicating that tyrosinase inhibition by the four cinnamamides is a major factor in the reduction of melanin production. These results imply that these four cinnamamides with a 2,4-dihydroxyphenyl group can act as excellent anti-melanogenic agents in the treatment of pigmentation disorders.  相似文献

Tyrosinase is a key enzyme during the production of melanins in plants and animals. A class of novel N-aryl-N′-substituted phenylthiourea derivatives (3a–i, 6ak) were designed, synthesized and their inhibitory effects on the diphenolase activity of mushroom tyrosinase were evaluated. The results showed some 4,5,6,7-tetrahydro-2-[[(phenylamino)thioxomethyl]amino]-benzo[b]thiophene-3-carboxylic acid derivatives (3a–i) exhibited moderate inhibitory potency on diphenolase activity of tyrosinase. When the scaffold of 4,5,6,7-tetrahydrobenzo[b]thiophene-3-carboxylic acid was replaced with 2-(1,3,4-thiadiazol-2-yl)thio acetic acid, the inhibitory activity of compounds (6ak) against tyrosinase was improved obviously; especially, the inhibitory activity of compound 6h (IC50 = 6.13 μM) is significantly higher than kojic acid (IC50 = 33.3 μM). Moreover, the analysis on inhibition mechanism revealed that compound 6h might plays the role as a noncompetitive inhibitor.  相似文献

Thirteen (Z)-4-(substituted benzylidene)-3-phenylisoxazol-5(4H)-ones were designed to confirm the geometric effect of the double bond of the β-phenyl-α, β-unsaturated carbonyl scaffold on tyrosinase inhibitory activity. Compounds 1a1m, which all possessed the (Z)-β-phenyl-α, β-unsaturated carbonyl scaffold, were synthesized using a tandem reaction consisting of an isoxazolone ring formation and a Knoevenagel condensation, and three starting materials, ethyl benzoylacetate, hydroxylamine and benzaldehydes. Some of the compounds showed inhibitory activity against mushroom tyrosinase as potent as compounds containing the “(E)”-β-phenyl-α, β-unsaturated carbonyl scaffold. Compounds 1c and 1m showed greater inhibitory activity than kojic acid: IC50?=?32.08?±?2.25?μM for 1c; IC50?=?14.62?±?1.38?μM for 1m; and IC50?=?37.86?±?2.21?μM for kojic acid. A kinetic study indicated that 1m inhibited tyrosinase in a competitive manner and that it probably binds to the enzyme’s active site. In silico docking simulation supported binding of 1m (?7.6?kcal/mol) to the active site of tyrosinase with stronger affinity than kojic acid (?5.7?kcal/mol). Similar results were obtained using cell-based assays, and in B16F10 cells, compound 1m dose-dependently inhibited tyrosinase activity and melanogenesis. These results indicate the anti-melanogenic effect of compound 1m is due to the inhibition of tyrosinase and (Z)-isomer of the β-phenyl-α, β-unsaturated carbonyl scaffold can, like its congener the (E)-isomer, act as an excellent scaffold for tyrosinase inhibition.  相似文献

The inhibition of tyrosinase is an established strategy for treating hyperpigmentation. Our previous findings demonstrated that cinnamic acid and benzoic acid scaffolds can be effective tyrosinase inhibitors with low toxicity. The hydroxyl substituted benzoic and cinnamic acid moieties of these precursors were incorporated into new chemotypes that displayed in vitro inhibitory effect against mushroom tyrosinase. The most active compound, (2-(3-methoxyphenoxy)-2-oxoethyl (E)-3-(4-hydroxyphenyl) acrylate) 6c, inhibited tyrosinase with an IC50 of 5.7 µM, while (2-(3-methoxyphenoxy)-2-oxoethyl 2, 4-dihydroxybenzoate) 4d had an IC50 of 23.8 µM. In comparison, the positive control, kojic acid showed tyrosinase inhibition with an IC50 = 16.7 µM. Analysis of enzyme kinetics revealed that 6c and 4d displayed noncompetitive reversible inhibition of the second tyrosinase enzymatic reaction with Ki values of 11 µM and 130 µM respectively. In silico docking studies with mushroom tyrosinase (PDB ID 2Y9X) predicted possible binding modes in the catalytic site for these active compounds. The phenolic para-hydroxy group of the most active compound 6c is predicted to interact with the catalytic site Cu++ ion. The methoxy part of this compound is predicted to form a hydrogen bond with Arg 268. Compound 6c had no observable toxic effects on cell morphology or cell viability at the highest tested concentration of 91.4 µM. When dosed at 91.4 µM onto B16F10 melanoma cells in vitro 6c showed anti-melanogenic effects equivalent to kojic acid at 880 µM. 6c displayed no PAINS (pan-assay interference compounds) alerts. Our results show that compound 6c is a more potent tyrosinase inhibitor than kojic acid and is a candidate for further development. Our exposition of the details of the interactions between 6c and the catalytic pocket of tyrosinase provides a basis for rational design of additional potent inhibitors of tyrosinase, built on the cinnamic acid scaffold.  相似文献

Tyrosinase is involved in the synthesis of melanin in the skin and hair as well as neuromelanin in the brain. This rate limiting enzyme catalyzes two critical steps (reactions) in melanogenesis; the hydroxylation of tyrosine to form DOPA and the subsequent oxidation of DOPA into dopaquinone. Several new aminophenol derivatives have been synthesized based on structure–activity relationship studies of N-(4-hydroxyphenyl)retinamide (1), a derivative of retinoic acid. In order to find new tyrosinase inhibitors, we investigated the effects of these p-aminophenols, including p-decylaminophenol (3), on the activity of mushroom tyrosinase. Compound 3 was the most potent agent, showing significant inhibition as compared with control. The inhibitory effects of 3 on tyrosinase activities were greater than seen with kojic acid, a well-known potent inhibitor of tyrosinase activity, which also causes adverse effects, including rash and dermatitis. A Lineweaver–Burk kinetic analysis of inhibition showed that 3 suppresses tyrosinase activity in a non-competitive fashion for both substrates, tyrosine and DOPA. These results suggest that 3 might be a useful alternative to kojic acid as a tyrosinase inhibitor.  相似文献

A series of N-acyl derivatives of tyramine, tryptamine, and serotonin were synthesized and tested on anti-melanogenic activity. The serotonin derivatives such as N-caffeoylserotonin (3) and N-protocatechuoylserotonin (9) were inhibitory to tyrosinase from mouse B16 and human HMV-II melanoma cells, while the corresponding derivatives of tryptamine and 5-methoxytryptamine were almost inactive or less active than the serotonin derivatives. The inhibitory activity of the serotonin derivatives increased with increasing number of phenolic hydroxyl groups in the acyl moiety. Melanin formation in the culture of B16 cells was suppressed by 3 and 9 with no cytotoxicity in the concentration range tested (IC50 = 15, 3 and 111 μM for 3, 9, and kojic acid, respectively). Thus the N-acylserotonin derivatives having a dihydroxyphenyl group are potential anti-melanogenic agents. Their inhibition of tyrosinase is primarily performed through the 5-hydroxyindole moiety and further strengthened by the phenolic hydroxyl groups in the acyl moiety.  相似文献

In this study, we synthesized hydroxy and/or alkoxy substituted phenyl-benzo[d]thiazole derivatives using substituted benzaldehydes and 2-aminothiophenol in MeOH. The structures of these compounds were established by 1H and 13C NMR and mass spectral analyzes. All synthesized compounds were evaluated for their mushroom tyrosinase inhibition activity. Out the 12 generated compounds, 2a and 2d exhibited much higher tyrosinase inhibition activity (45.36-73.07% and 49.94-94.17% at 0.01-20 μM, respectively) than kojic acid (9.29-50.80% at 1.25-20 μM), a positive control. The cytotoxicity of 2a and 2d was evaluated using B16 cells and the compounds were found to be nontoxic. Compounds 2a and 2d were also demonstrated to be potent mushroom tyrosinase inhibitors, displaying IC50 values of 1.14 ± 0.48 and 0.01 ± 0.0002 μM, respectively, compared with kojic acid, which has an IC50 value of 18.45 ± 0.17 μM. We also predicted the tertiary structure of tyrosinase, simulated the docking with compounds 2a and 2d and confirmed that the compounds strongly interact with mushroom tyrosinase residues. Kinetic plots showed that 2a and 2d are competitive tyrosinase inhibitors. Substitutions with a hydroxy group at R3 or both R3 and R1 of the phenyl ring indicated that these groups play a major role in the high binding affinity to tyrosinase. We further found that compounds 2a and 2d inhibit melanin production and tyrosinase activity in B16 cells. These results may assist in the development of new potent tyrosinase inhibitors against hyperpigmentation.  相似文献

In the present study, we aimed to identify the tyrosinase enzyme inhibitory potential of Vinca major L. extract and its secondary metabolites. The extract possessed remarkable tyrosinase enzyme inhibitory effect with IC50 value of 20.39 ± 0.44 µg/mL compared to the positive control, kojic acid (IC50 8.56 ± 0.17 µg/mL). Compounds 1 and 5 were the most potent isolates with IC50 values of 32.41 ± 0.99 and 31.34 ± 0.75 µM, they were more potent than kojic acid (IC50: 60.25 ± 0.54 µM). Compound 2 also exhibited remarkable tyrosinase inhibition with an IC50 value of 64.51 ± 1.29 µM. An enzyme kinetics analysis revealed that 1 was a mixed-type, 2 and 5 were noncompetitive inhibitors. Using molecular docking, we predicted binding affinity and interactions of the compounds, which were in good alignment with a pharmacophore hypothesis generated out of a number of known tyrosinase inhibitors. The modelling studies underlined crucial interactions with the copper ions and residues around them such as Asn260, His263, and Met280.  相似文献

Tyrosinase inhibition may be a means to alleviate not only skin hyperpigmentation but also neurodegeneration associated with Parkinson’s disease. In the course of metabolite analysis from tyrosinase inhibitory methanol extract (80% inhibition at 20 μg/ml) of Campylotropis hirtella, we isolated fourteen phenolic compounds, among which neorauflavane 3 emerged as a lead structure for tyrosinase inhibition. Neorauflavane 3 inhibited tyrosinase monophenolase activity with an IC50 of 30 nM. Thus this compound is 400-fold more active than kojic acid. It also inhibited diphenolase (IC50 = 500 nM), significantly. Another potent inhibitor 1 (IC50 = 2.9 μM) was found to be the most abundant metabolite in C. hirtella. In kinetic studies, compounds 3 showed competitive inhibitory behavior against both monophenolase and diphenolase. It manifested simple reversible slow-binding inhibition against monophenolase with the following kinetic parameters: Kiapp = 1.48 nM, k3 = 0.0033 nM−1 min−1 and k4 = 0.0049 min−1. Neorauflavane 3 efficiently reduced melanin content in B16 melanoma cells with 12.95 μM of IC50. To develop a pharmacophore model, we explored the binding mode of neuroflavane 3 in the active site of tyrosinase. Docking results show that resorcinol motif of B-ring and methoxy group in A-ring play crucial roles in the binding the enzyme.  相似文献

A series of coumarinyl-pyrazolinyl substituted thiazoles derivatives were synthesized and their inhibitory effects on the DPPH and mushroom tyrosinase were evaluated. The results showed that all of the synthesized compounds exhibited significant mushroom tyrosinase inhibitory activities. In particular, 3-(5-(4-(benzyloxy)-3-methoxyphenyl)-1-(4-(4-bromophenyl)thiazol-2-yl)-4,5-dihydro-1H-pyrazol-3-yl)-2H-chromen-2-one (7j) exhibited the most potent tyrosinase inhibitory activity with IC50 value 0.00458 ± 0.00022 μM compared with the IC50 value of kojic acid is 16.84 ± 0.052 μM. The inhibition mechanism analyzed by Lineweaver–Burk plots revealed that the type of inhibition of compound 7j on tyrosinase was noncompetitive. The docking study against tyrosinase enzyme was also performed to determine the binding affinity of the compounds. The compound 7a showed the highest binding affinity (−10.20 kcal/mol) with active binding site of tyrosinase. The initial structure activity relationships (SARs) analysis suggested that further development of such compounds might be of interest. The statistics of our results endorses that compound 7j may serve as a structural template for the design and development of novel tyrosinase inhibitors.  相似文献

Flavonoids are main polyphenolic groups widely distributed to fruits, vegetables and beverages we consumed daily. They exhibit many biological effects. We tested tyrosinase inhibitor potential of structurally related (19) flavonoids and found that all the tested materials possessed tyrosinase inhibitory effect compared to the positive control, kojic acid. 2 exhibited the strongest tyrosinase inhibitory effect with an IC50 value of 40.94 ± 0.78 µM in a competitive manner. According to kinetic analysis 1, 4 and 7 were found to be competitive inhibitors, 3, 5, and 6 noncompetitive inhibitors of tyrosinase. According to the docking studies, A and C ring of the flavonoid structure, hydroxyl substituent at the 7th position, and hydroxyl substituents at para or para and meta position of ring B play key role for competitive inhibition of the enzyme.  相似文献

A new series of alkynyl glycoside analogues were designed and synthesized from cheap and a commercially available sugar by introduction of various alkynyl and alkyl groups at C-1 and C-6 positions of the sugar ring. The inhibitory abilities of alkynyl glycosides were investigated in vitro on mushroom tyrosinase for the catalysis of l-Tyrosine and l-DOPA as substrates and comparing with arbutin and kojic acid. Non-terminal alkyne compound 2d showed excellent tyrosinase inhibitory activity (IC50 54.0 μM) against l-Tyrosine comparable to arbutin (IC50 1.46 mM) while 2b exhibited potent activities (IC50 34.3 μM) against L-DOPA higher than kojic acid (IC50 0.11 mM) and arbutin (IC50 13.3 mM). Kinetic studies revealed that compound 2d was a non-competitive inhibitor with the best Ki value of 21 μM and formed an irreversible receptor complex with mushroom tyrosinase. The SARs results showed that the type of alkyne and alkyl groups at position C-6 on sugar and the stereoisomer played an important role in determining their inhibitory activities. The potent activity of alkynyl glycosides identified in this study highlight the importance of this scaffold and these compounds are very modestly potent to the development of new class for tyrosinase inhibitor.  相似文献

The increased amount of melanin leads to skin disorders such as age spots, freckles, melasma and malignant melanoma. Tyrosinase is known to be the key enzyme in melanin production. Plants and their extracts are inexpensive and rich resources of active compounds that can be utilized to inhibit tyrosinase as well as can be used for the treatment of dermatological disorders associated with melanin hyperpigmentation. Using in vitro tyrosinase inhibitory activity assay, extracts from 13 plant species from Brazilian Cerrado were evaluated. The results showed that Pouteria torta and Eugenia dysenterica extracts presented potent in vitro tyrosinase inhibition compared to positive control kojic acid. Ethanol extract of Eugenia dysenterica leaves showed significant (p<0.05) tyrosinase inhibitory activity exhibiting the IC50 value of 11.88 µg/mL, compared to kojic acid (IC50 value of 13.14 µg/mL). Pouteria torta aqueous extract leaves also showed significant inhibitory activity with IC50 value of 30.01 µg/mL. These results indicate that Pouteria torta and Eugenia dysenterica extracts and their isolated constituents are promising agents for skin-whitening or antimelanogenesis formulations.  相似文献

1,3,4-Thiadiazole derivatives bearing Schiff base moieties were designed, synthesized, and their tyrosinase inhibitory activities were evaluated. Some compounds displayed potent tyrosinase inhibitory activities, especially, 4-(((5-mercapto-1,3,4-thiadiazol-2-yl)-imino)methyl)-2-methoxy-phenol (14) exhibited superior inhibitory effect to the other compounds with an IC50 value of 0.036 μM. The structure–activity relationships (SARs) were preliminarily discussed and docking studies showed compound 14 had strong binding affinity to mushroom tyrosinase. Hydroxy might be the active groups. The inhibition kinetics study revealed that compounds (13 and 14) inhibited tyrosinase by acting as uncompetitive inhibitors. The LD50 value of the compound 14 was 5000 mg/kg.  相似文献

In the designed research work, a series of 2-furoyl piperazine based sulfonamide derivatives were synthesized as therapeutic agents to target the Alzheimer’s disease. The structures of the newly synthesized compounds were characterized through spectral analysis and their inhibitory potential was evaluated against butyrylcholinesterase (BChE). The cytotoxicity of these sulfonamides was also ascertained through hemolysis of bovine red blood cells. Furthermore, compounds were inspected by Lipinki Rule and their binding profiles against BChE were discerned by molecular docking. The protein fluctuations in docking complexes were recognized by dynamic simulation. From our in vitro and in silico results 5c, 5j and 5k were identified as promising lead compounds for the treatment of targeted disease.  相似文献

Polyphenol oxidase (Tyrosinase) has received great attention, since it is the key enzyme in melanin biosynthesis. In this study, novel hydroxy naphthylchalcone compounds were synthesized, and their inhibitory effects on mushroom tyrosinase activity were evaluated. The structures of the compounds synthesized were confirmed by 1H NMR, 13C NMR, FTIR and HRMS. Two of the compounds synthesized inhibited the diphenolase activity of tyrosinase in a dose dependent manner and exhibited much higher tyrosinase inhibitory activities (IC50 values of 10.4 μM and 14.4 μM, respectively) than the positive control, kojic acid (IC50: 27.5 μM). Kinetic analysis showed that their inhibition was reversible. Both the novel compounds displayed competitive inhibition with their Ki values of 3.8 μM and 4.5 μM, respectively. Docking results confirmed that the active inhibitors strongly interacted with the mushroom tyrosinase residues. This study suggests hydroxy naphthylchalcone compounds to serve as promising candidates for use as depigmentation agents.  相似文献

The concise synthesis of rhododendrol glycosides 38, which are novel derivatives of (+)-epirhododendrin (1) and (−)-rhododendrin (2), has been achieved in six steps from benzaldehyde 9. The key reactions include aldol condensation and trichloroacetimidate glycosylation. From biological studies, it has been determined that synthetic derivatives of 1 and 2 possess potent tyrosinase inhibitory activity. Particularly, the inhibitory activity of cellobioside 8 (IC50 = 1.51 μM) is six times higher than that of kojic acid. The R-epimers (4, 6, and 8) possessed more potent activity than the corresponding S-epimers (3, 5, and 7), indicating that tyrosinase inhibitory activity is significantly governed by stereochemistry of rhododendrol glycosides.  相似文献
