Effects of the arbuscular mycorrhizal fungus (AMF) Glomus hoi on the carbon economy of perennial ryegrass (Lolium perenne) were investigated by comparing nonmycorrhizal and mycorrhizal plants of the same size, morphology and phosphorus status. Plants were grown in the presence of CO2 sources with different C isotope composition (delta13C -1 or -44). Relative respiration and gross photosynthesis rates, and belowground allocation of C assimilated during one light period ('new C'), as well as its contribution to respiration, were quantified by the concerted use of 13CO2/12CO2 steady-state labelling and 13CO2/12CO2 gas-exchange techniques. AMF (G. hoi) enhanced the relative respiration rate of the root + soil system by 16%, inducing an extra C flow amounting to 3% of daily gross photosynthesis. Total C flow into AMF growth and respiration was estimated at < 8% of daily gross photosynthesis. This was associated with a greater amount of new C allocated belowground and respired in mycorrhizal plants. AMF colonization affected the sources supplying belowground respiration, indicating a greater importance of plant C stores in supplying respiration and/or the participation of storage pools within fungal tissues. When ontogenetic and nutritional effects were accounted for, AMF increased belowground C costs, which were not compensated by increased photosynthesis rates. Therefore the instantaneous relative growth rate was lower in mycorrhizal plants.  相似文献

Arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) living symbiotically with host plants enhance plant growth by improving the acquisition of mineral nutrients and water relations. This study determined the effects of AMF inoculation on growth, benefit/cost and water-use efficiency (grams dry matter produced per kilogram water evapotranspired) in two durum wheat genotypes (drought sensitive and drought tolerant) under water-stressed and well-watered conditions. Plants were grown in a low-P silty clay (Typic Xerochrept) soil mix in a greenhouse. Shoot and root dry matter (DM) and root AMF colonization were higher for well-watered than for water-stressed plants. The mycorrhizal plants were more water-use efficient than nonmycorrhizal plants. Shoot DM differences between mycorrhizal and nonmycorrhizal plants represent the benefit derived by plants from AMF-root associations. Shoot DM differences between mycorrhizal and nonmycorrhizal plants under similar conditions of water treatment represent the cost to the plant of AMF-root associations. Values of benefit/cost for AMF-root associations were highest when plants were water-stressed and decreased under well-watered conditions. Genotypic differences in calculated costs and benefits were pronounced. Benefit/cost analysis may be helpful in evaluating host plant genotypes in order to optimize efficiencies of AMF symbiosis under different environmental conditions. Accepted: 4 April 1998  相似文献

The effect of colonization of tissue-cultured strawberry ( Fragaria × ananassa Duch. cv. Kent) plantlets in vitro by the arbuscular mycorrhizal fungus (AMF) Glomus intraradices on plantlet response to poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG)-8000-induced water stress was investigated. The plantlets were inoculated axenically and co-cultured with the AMF for 4 wk, then transferred to 15% PEG-8000 solutions for 4, 8 and 12 h. Relative water content, water potential, osmotic potential, leaf conductance for water vapour diffusion and photosynthetic efficiency as estimated by chlorophyll a fluorescence were all affected by the PEG treatment and its duration but not by the presence of the intraradical phase of the AMF. However, distinct differences in PEG-induced changes in amino acid content were observed between nonmycorrhizal and mycorrhizal plantlets. In the latter, the treatment with PEG caused a substantial decrease in asparagine levels in leaves that was accompanied by a marked increase in asparagine concentration in roots. The opposite was observed in nonmycorrhizal plantlets. Furthermore, concentrations of aspartic acid, serine, threonine, amino- N -butyric acid, alanine and starch increased in roots of mycorrhizal and decreased in nonmycorrhizal plantlets. Our results suggest the presence of a mobile pool of asparagine that can be translocated from leaves to roots or vice versa in response to PEG-induced water stress, depending on the mycorrhizal status of the plantlets. These opposite patterns suggest different strategies of mycorrhizal and nonmycorrhizal plantlets to water stress, which seem to involve different adjustments in nitrogen and carbon metabolism.  相似文献

Growth of mycorrhizal tomato and mineral acquisition under salt stress   总被引:19,自引:0,他引:19
High salt levels in soil and water can limit agricultural production and land development in arid and semiarid regions. Arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) have been shown to decrease plant yield losses in saline soils. The objective of this study was to examine the growth and mineral acquisition responses of greenhouse-grown tomato to colonization by the AMF Glomus mosseae [(Nicol. And Gerd.) Gerd. and Trappe] under varied levels of salt. NaCl was added to soil in the irrigation water to give an ECe of 1.4 (control), 4.7 (medium) and 7.4 dS m–1 (high salt stress). Plants were grown in a sterilized, low P (silty clay) soil-sand mix. Mycorrhizal colonization was higher in the control than in saline soil conditions. Shoot and root dry matter yields and leaf area were higher in mycorrhizal than in nonmycorrhizal plants. Total accumulation of P, Zn, Cu, and Fe was higher in mycorrhizal than in nonmycorrhizal plants under both control and medium salt stress conditions. Shoot Na concentrations were lower in mycorrhizal than in nonmycorrhizal plants grown under saline soil conditions. The improved growth and nutrient acquisition in tomato demonstrate the potential of AMF colonization for protecting plants against salt stress in arid and semiarid areas.

Effects of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) and salt stress on nutrient acquisition and growth of two tomato cultivars exhibiting differences in salt tolerance were investigated. Plants were grown in a sterilized, low-P (silty clay) soil-sand mix. Salt was applied at saturation extract (ECe) values of 1.4 (control), 4.9 (medium) and 7.1 dS m–1 (high salt stress). Mycorrhizal colonization occurred irrespective of salt stress in both cultivars, but AMF colonization was higher under control than under saline soil conditions. The salt-tolerant cultivar Pello showed higher mycorrhizal colonization than the salt-sensitive cultivar Marriha. Shoot dry matter (DM) yield and leaf area were higher in mycorrhizal than nonmycorrhizal plants of both cultivars. Shoot DM and leaf area but not root DM were higher in Pello than Marriha. The enhancement in shoot DM due to AMF inoculation was 22% and 21% under control, 31% and 58% under medium, and 18% and 59% under high salinity for Pello and Marriha, respectively. For both cultivars, the contents of P, K, Zn, Cu, and Fe were higher in mycorrhizal than nonmycorrhizal plants under control and medium saline soil conditions. The enhancement in P, K, Zn, Cu, and Fe acquisition due to AMF inoculation was more pronounced in Marriha than in the Pello cultivar under saline conditions. The results suggest that Marriha benefited more from AMF colonization than Pello under saline soil conditions, despite the fact that Pello roots were highly infected with the AMF. Thus, it appears that Marriha is more dependent on AMF symbiosis than Pello. Accepted: 22 January 2001  相似文献

Mycorrhizal and nonmycorrhizal Pinus halepensis plants were subjected to water stress by withholding irrigation for four months and then rehydrated for 30 d. Water stress affected plants growth and mycorrhizal association was unable to avoid the effects of drought on plant growth. However, when irrigation was re-established the increase in height, number of shoots, total dry mass, and chlorophyll content in the mycorrhizal plants were greater than in non-mycorrhizal plants. The decrease in soil water content decreased the leaf water potential, leaf pressure potential and stomatal conductance. These decreases were higher for nonmycorrhizal than for mycorrhizal plants, indicating that the mycorrhizal fungi permit a higher water uptake from the dry soils. The total content of inorganic solutes was not changed by presence of mycorrhizae.  相似文献

Rough lemon seedlings were grown in mycorrhizal-infested or phosphorus-amended soil (25 and 300 mg P/kg) in greenhouse experiments. Plants Were inoculated with the citrus burrowing nematode, Radopholus citrophilus (0, 50, 100, or 200 nematodes per pot). Six months later, mycorrhizal plants and nonmycorrhizal, high-P plants had larger shoot and root weights than did non-mycorrhizal, low-P plants. Burrowing nematode population densities were lower in roots of mycorrhizal or nonmycorrhizal, high-P plants than in roots of nonmycorrhizal, low-P plants; however, differences in plant growth between mycorrhizal and nonmycorrhizal plants were not significant with respect to initial nematode inoculum densities. Phosphorus content in leaf tissue was significantly greater in mycorrhizal and nonmycorrhizal, high-P plants compared with nonmycorrhizal, low-P plants. Nutrient concentrations of K, Mg, and Zn were unaffected by nematode parasitism, whereas P, Ca, Fe, and Mn were less in nematode-infected plants. Enhanced growth associated with root colonization by the mycorrhizal fungus appeared to result from improved P nutrition and not antagonism between the fungus and the nematode.  相似文献

Arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) form symbioses with many plants. Black locust (Robinia pseudoacacia L.) is an important energy tree species that can associate with AMF. We investigated the effects of AMF (Rhizophagus irregularis and Glomus versiforme) on the growth, gas exchange, chlorophyll (Chl) fluorescence, carbon content, and calorific value of black locust seedlings in the greenhouse. The total biomass of the arbuscular mycorrhizal (AM) seedlings was 4 times greater than that of the nonmycorrhizal (NM) seedlings. AMF greatly promoted the photosynthesis of black locust seedlings. AM seedlings had a significantly greater leaf area, higher carboxylation efficiency, Chl content, and net photosynthetic rate (P N) than NM seedlings. AMF also significantly increased the effective photochemical efficiency of PSII and significantly enhanced the carbon content and calorific value of black locust seedlings. Seedlings inoculated with G. versiforme had the largest leaf area and highest biomass, Chl content, P N, and calorific value.  相似文献

Wisconsin (USA) oak savannas are endangered plant communities that have remarkably high plant species diversity. To investigate factors underlying this richness, we experimentally investigated the potentially interacting effects of light gradients and arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) on plant competition in the greenhouse, using a fully randomized block design. We used four plant species, soil, and AMF from a remnant sand savanna, under two light and five AMF treatments. Plants were grown four per pot under two competition treatments (either one or four species per pot) for 20 weeks. Using ANOVA, we found that all species showed significant treatment effects on total and shoot biomass, primarily due to differences in competition and light, less to AMF. However, effects were the opposite of predictions. Putatively mycorrhizal plants showed neutral to negative responses to AMF, and a nonmycorrhizal species outcompeted AMF species in infected pots. We concluded that our experimental setup of small pots, sandy soil, and long growing period had induced parasitism by the AMF on susceptible hosts. This unexpected result is consistent with field data from the sand savanna, and may help explain how nonmycorrhizal plants can compete successfully with AMF species in established, species-rich communities.  相似文献

Plant Zn uptake from low Zn soils can be increased by Zn-mobilizing chemical rhizosphere processes. We studied whether inoculation with arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) can be an additional or an alternative strategy. We determined the effect of AMF inoculation on growth performance and Zn uptake by rice genotypes varying in Zn uptake when nonmycorrhizal. A pot experiment was conducted with six aerobic rice genotypes inoculated with Glomus mosseae or G. etunicatum or without AMF on a low Zn soil. Plant growth, Zn uptake and mycorrhizal responsiveness were determined. AMF-inoculated plants produced more biomass and took up more Zn than nonmycorrhizal controls. Mycorrhizal inoculation, however, significantly increased Zn uptake only in genotypes that had a low Zn uptake in the nonmycorrhizal condition. We conclude that genotypes that are less efficient in Zn uptake when nonmycorrhizal are more responsive to AMF inoculation. We provide examples from literature allowing generalization of this conclusion on a trade off between mycorrhizal responsiveness and nutrient uptake efficiency.  相似文献

Spectra of leaf traits in northern temperate forest canopies reflect major differences in leaf longevity between evergreen conifers and deciduous broadleaf angiosperms, as well as plastic modifications caused by within-crown shading. We investigated (1) whether long-lived conifer leaves exhibit similar intra-canopy plasticity as short-lived broadleaves, and (2) whether global interspecific relationships between photosynthesis, nitrogen, and leaf structure identified for sun leaves adequately describe leaves differentiated in response to light gradients. We studied structural and photosynthetic properties of intra-tree sun and shade foliage in adult trees of seven conifer and four broadleaf angiosperm species in a common garden in Poland. Shade leaves exhibited lower leaf mass-per-area (LMA) than sun leaves; however, the relative difference was smaller in conifers than in broadleaves. In broadleaves, LMA was correlated with lamina thickness and tissue density, while in conifers, it was correlated with thickness but not density. In broadleaves, but not in conifers, reduction of lamina thickness was correlated with a thinner palisade layer. The more conservative adjustment of conifer leaves could result from a combination of phylogenetic constraints, contrasting leaf anatomies and shoot geometries, but also from functional requirements of long-lived foliage. Mass-based nitrogen concentration (N(mass)) was similar between sun and shade leaves, and was lower in conifers than in deciduous broadleaved species. Given this, the smaller LMA in shade corresponded with a lower area-based N concentration (N(area)). In evergreen conifers, LMA and N(area) were less powerful predictors of area-based photosynthetic rate (A (max(area))) in comparison with deciduous broadleaved angiosperms. Multiple regression for sun and shade leaves showed that, in each group, A (max(mass)) was related to N(mass) but not to LMA, whereas LMA became a significant codeterminant of A (max(mass)) in analysis combining both groups. Thus, a fundamental mass-based relationship between photosynthesis, nitrogen, and leaf structure reported previously also exists in a dataset combining within-crown and across-functional type variation.  相似文献

This study tested whether leaf elongation rate (LER, mm h(-1)) and its components--average relative elemental growth rate (REGRavg, mm mm(-1) h(-1)) and leaf growth zone length (L(LGZ), mm)--are related to phosphorus (P) concentration in the growth zone (P(LGZ) mg P g(-1) tissue water) of Lolium perenne L. cv. Condesa and whether such relationships are modified by the arbuscular mycorrhizal fungus (AMF) Glomus hoi. Mycorrhizal and non-mycorrhizal plants were grown at a range of P supply rates and analysed at either the same plant age or the same tiller size (defined by the length of the sheath of the youngest fully expanded leaf). Both improved P supply (up to 95%) and AMF (up to 21%) strongly increased LER. In tillers of even-aged plants, this was due to increased REGRavg and L(LGZ). In even-sized tillers, it was exclusively due to increased REGRavg. REGRavg was strictly related to P(LGZ) (r2 = 0.95) and independent of tiller size. Conversely, L(LGZ) strictly depended on tiller size (r2 = 0.88) and not on P(LGZ). Hence, P status affected leaf growth directly only through effects on relative tissue expansion rates. Symbiosis with AMF did not modify these relationships. Thus, no evidence for P status-independent effects of AMF on LER was found.  相似文献

Salt stress limits crop yield and sustainable agriculture in most arid and semiarid regions of the world. Arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) are considered bio-ameliorators of soil salinity tolerance in plants. In evaluating AMF as significant predictors of mycorrhizal ecology, precise quantifiable changes in plant biomass and nutrient uptake under salt stress are crucial factors. Therefore, the objective of the present study was to analyze the magnitude of the effects of AMF inoculation on growth and nutrient uptake of plants under salt stress through meta-analyses. For this, data were compared in the context of mycorrhizal host plant species, plant family and functional group, herbaceous vs. woody plants, annual vs. perennial plants, and the level of salinity across 43 studies. Results indicate that, under saline conditions, AMF inoculation significantly increased total, shoot, and root biomass as well as phosphorous (P), nitrogen (N), and potassium (K) uptake. Activities of the antioxidant enzymes superoxide dismutase, catalase, peroxidase, and ascorbate peroxidase also increased significantly in mycorrhizal compared to nonmycorrhizal plants growing under salt stress. In addition, sodium (Na) uptake decreased significantly in mycorrhizal plants, while changes in proline accumulation were not significant. Across most subsets of the data analysis, identities of AMF (Glomus fasciculatum) and host plants (Acacia nilotica, herbs, woody and perennial) were found to be essential in understanding plant responses to salinity stress. For the analyzed dataset, it is concluded that under salt stress, mycorrhizal plants have extensive root traits and mycorrhizal morphological traits which help the uptake of more P and K, together with the enhanced production of antioxidant enzymes resulting in salt stress alleviation and increased plant biomass.  相似文献

Our objectives were to (1) verify that nonhydraulic signalling of soil drying can reduce leaf growth of maize, (2) determine if a mycorrhizal influence on such signalling can occur independently of a mycorrhizal effect on leaf phosphorus concentration, plant size or soil drying rate, and (3) determine if leaf phosphorus concentration can affect response to the signalling process. Maize (Zea mays L. Pioneer 3147) seedlings were grown in a glasshouse with root systems split between two pots. The 2 x 3 x 2 experimental design included two levels of mycorrhizal colonization (presence or absence of Glomus intraradices Schenck & Smith), three levels of phosphorus fertilization within each mycorrhizal treatment and two levels of water (both pots watered or one pot watered, one pot allowed to dry). Fully watered mycorrhizal and nonmycorrhizal control plants had similar total leaf lengths throughout the experiment, and similar final shoot dry weights, root dry weights and leaf length/root dry weight ratios. Leaf growth of mycorrhizal plants was not affected by partial soil drying, but final plant leaf length and shoot dry weight were reduced in half-dried nonmycorrhizal plants. At low P fertilization, effects of nonhydraulic signalling were not evident. At medium and high P fertilization, final total plant leaf length of nonmycorrhizal plants was reduced by 9% and 10%, respectively. These growth reductions preceded restriction of stomatal conductance by 7 d. This and the fact that leaf water potentials were unaffected by partial soil drying suggested that leaf growth reductions were nonhydraulically induced. Stomatal conductance of plants given low phosphorus was less influenced by nonhydraulic signalling of soil drying than plants given higher phosphorus. Soil drying was not affected by mycorrhizal colonization, and reductions in leaf growth were not related to soil drying rate (characterized by time required for soil matric potential to drop below control levels and by time roots were exposed to soil matric potential below typical leaf water potential). We conclude that mycorrhizal symbiosis acted independently of phosphorus nutrition, plant size or soil drying rate in eliminating leaf growth response to nonhydraulic root-to-shoot communication of soil drying.Abbreviations and Symbols ANOVA analysis of variance - Cs stomatal conductance(s) - med medium - P probability - matric potential(s) - water potential(s) This work was supported by the U.S. Department of Agriculture grant No. 91-37100-6723 and a University of Tennessee Professional Development Research Award to R.M.A. We thank Angela Berry for the graphics.  相似文献

Increased salinization of arable land is expected to have devastating global effects in the coming years. Arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) have been shown to improve plant tolerance to abiotic environmental factors such as salinity, but they can be themselves negatively affected by salinity. In this study, the first in vitro experiment analyzed the effects of 0, 50, or 100 mM NaCl on the development and sporulation of Glomus intraradices. In the second experiment, the effects of mycorrhization on the expression of key plant genes expected to be affected by salinity was evaluated. Results showed that the assayed isolate G. intraradices DAOM 197198 can be regarded as a moderately salt-tolerant AMF because it did not significantly decrease hyphal development or formation of branching absorbing structures at 50 mM NaCl. Results also showed that plants colonized by G. intraradices grew more than nonmycorrhizal plants. This effect was concomitant with a higher relative water content in AM plants, lower proline content, and expression of Lsp5cs gene (mainly at 50 mM NaCl), lower expression of the stress marker gene Lslea gene, and lower content of abscisic acid in roots of mycorrhizal plants as compared to nonmycorrhizal plants, which suggest that the AM fungus decreased salt stress injury. In addition, under salinity, AM symbiosis enhanced the expression of LsPIP1. Such enhanced gene expression could contribute to regulating root water permeability to better tolerate the osmotic stress generated by salinity.  相似文献

Aboveground plant performance is strongly influenced by belowground microorganisms, some of which are pathogenic and have negative effects, while others, such as nitrogen‐fixing bacteria and arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi, usually have positive effects. Recent research revealed that belowground interactions between plants and functionally distinct groups of microorganisms cascade up to aboveground plant associates such as herbivores and their natural enemies. However, while functionally distinct belowground microorganisms commonly co‐occur in the rhizosphere, their combined effects, and relative contributions, respectively, on performance of aboveground plant‐associated organisms are virtually unexplored. Here, we scrutinized and disentangled the effects of free‐living nitrogen‐fixing (diazotrophic) bacteria Azotobacter chroococcum (DB) and arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi Glomus mosseae (AMF) on host plant choice and reproduction of the herbivorous two‐spotted spider mite Tetranychus urticae on common bean plants Phaseolus vulgaris. Additionally, we assessed plant growth, and AMF and DB occurrence and density as affected by each other. Both AMF alone and DB alone increased spider mite reproduction to similar levels, as compared to the control, and exerted additive effects under co‐occurrence. These effects were similarly apparent in host plant choice, that is, the mites preferred leaves from plants with both AMF and DB to plants with AMF or DB to plants grown without AMF and DB. DB, which also act as AMF helper bacteria, enhanced root colonization by AMF, whereas AMF did not affect DB abundance. AMF but not DB increased growth of reproductive plant tissue and seed production, respectively. Both AMF and DB increased the biomass of vegetative aboveground plant tissue. Our study breaks new ground in multitrophic belowground–aboveground research by providing first insights into the fitness implications of plant‐mediated interactions between interrelated belowground fungi–bacteria and aboveground herbivores.  相似文献

Arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) can alter the physiology and morphology of their host plant, and therefore may have indirect effects on insect herbivores and pollinators. We conducted this study to test the hypothesis that AMF can also affect insects involved in protection-for-food mutualisms. We examined the constitutive and inducible production of food rewards [extrafloral (EF) nectaries] in Vicia faba plants by manipulating the presence/absence of AMF and by simulating various levels of herbivory. Plants inoculated with AMF produced significantly fewer EF nectaries than uninoculated plants, even after accounting for differences in plant growth. In contrast to earlier studies, EF nectaries were not inducible: damaged plants produced significantly fewer EF nectaries than undamaged plants. Moreover, the effects of mycorrhizal and damage status on EF nectary production were additive. The reduction in EF nectaries in mycorrhizal plants potentially represents a mechanism for indirect effects of AMF on the protective insects that exploit EF nectaries as a food source (e.g., ants). Reduced reward size should result in reduced protection by ants, and could therefore be a previously unappreciated cost of the mycorrhizal symbiosis to host plants. However, the overall effect of AMF will depend upon the extent to which the reduction of EF nectaries affects the number and activity of ants and the extent to which AMF alter other aspects of host plant physiology. Our results emphasize the complexity of multitrophic interactions, particularly those that span belowground and aboveground ecology.  相似文献

Arbuscular mycorrhizal (AM) fungi can indirectly affect insect herbivore performance by altering traits in their host plant. Typically, generalist herbivores are negatively affected by AM fungi, whereas specialists are positively affected. This is thought to be caused by differential abilities of specialists and generalists to tolerate and/or exploit plant secondary compounds, the prevalence of which may be related to mycorrhizal colonization. We performed a feeding experiment in which specialist sunflower beetle larvae (Zygogramma exclamationis Fabricius, Chrysomelidae) were fed on mycorrhizal or nonmycorrhizal common annual sunflower plants (Helianthus annuus L., Asteraceae). To determine the indirect effects of AM fungi on the sunflower beetle larvae, we measured insect survival and relative growth rate. We also measured leaf area eaten, which allowed relative growth rate to be broken down into two components: relative consumption rate and efficiency of conversion of ingested food. Contrary to several previous studies, we detected no indirect effects of mycorrhizal fungi on larval survival or on relative growth rate or its components. Small effect sizes suggest that this is nonsignificant biologically, as well as statistically, rather than merely an issue of statistical power. Our results support an emerging view that indirect effects of mycorrhizal fungi on insect herbivores may be complex and idiosyncratic. We suggest that future research should emphasize the effects of mycorrhizal fungi on individual plant traits and how these interact to affect insect performance.  相似文献

Changes in morphology [leaf dry mass per unit area (LMA), thickness and density] and chemical composition (macronutrients and fibres content) in different age leaves of eight evergreen Mediterranean woody species were investigated. LMA and leaf thickness increased with leaf age increasing. Young tissues possessed higher concentrations of N, P, K, and Mg and lower Ca concentrations on a dry mass basis. However, mineral content was independent of age on leaf area basis (except for Ca content) suggesting that the changes in mineral concentration with leaf ageing are due to dilution in the larger dry mass accumulated in the oldest leaves. Leaf tissue density (LTD) increased during the first year of the leaf life. Lignin and hemicellulose concentrations did not vary along leaf life and the cellulose concentration increased with leaf age in most species between the current-year and the one-year old leaves. Our results suggested that physical leaf reinforcement with a higher cellulose concentration and density might be a leaf response to the unfavourable climatic conditions during the first winter.  相似文献
