Six ligno-cellulolytic fungi were tested regarding to examine their capability to grow on agricultural wastes and produce inocula for composting. Two residues were used: pepper plant wastes and almond shell residues. Results showed the latter as the most adequate substrate for growth of fungi tested. On the contrary, Trichoderma koningii, as well as HLC1 and HLC3, both fungi isolated from almond shell wastes, were able to persist in pepper plant wastes. Modifications of aeration and pH significantly influenced growth of Coriolus versicolor, HLC1 and Phanerochaete. flavido alba and P. flavido alba and Phlebia radiata, respectively, while P. flavido alba was the only microorganism whose growth was not significantly altered by temperature. In competitive assays, where fungi were growth together with other species, growth of both microorganisms isolated from almond shell residues, HLC1 and HLC3, were stimulated while T. koningii showed the better results in sterile conditions.  相似文献

Six putative lignin peroxidase (LIP) genes were isolated from a lambda EMBL3 phage library of the white-rot fungus, Trametes versicolor, using the Phanerochaete chrysosporium LIP cDNA CLG5 as the probe. Sequence analysis of one of the genes, VLG1, showed that its coding region is interrupted by six small introns (49-64 bp) and that it encodes a mature LIP protein (341 aa; Mr: 36,714) that is preceded by a 25 aa signal sequence. This protein has a relatively high degree of aa homology to the N-termini of the LIP proteins purified from T. versicolor and has an aa homology of 55-60% to the LIP proteins of P. chrysosporium, which is comparable to that found between P. chrysosporium and Phlebia radiata LIP proteins.  相似文献

There is very limited information on the biotransformation of organochlorine pesticide chlordane by microorganisms, and no systematic study on the metabolic products and pathways for chlordane transformation by wood-rot fungi has been conducted. In this study, trans-chlordane was metabolized with the wood-rot fungi species Phlebia lindtneri, Phlebia brevispora and Phlebia aurea, which are capable of degrading polychlorinated dibenzo-p-dioxin and heptachlor epoxide. At the end of 42 days of incubation, over 50% of trans-chlordane was degraded by the fungal treatments in pure cultures. These fungi transformed trans-chlordane to at least eleven metabolites including a large amount of hydroxylated products such as 3-hydroxychlordane, chlordene chlorohydrin, heptachlor diol, monohydroxychlordene and dihydroxychlordene. P. lindtneri particularly can metabolize oxychlordane, a recalcitrant epoxide product of chlordane, into a hydroxylated product through substitution of chlorine atom by hydroxyl group. The present results suggest that hydroxylation reactions play an important role in the metabolism of trans-chlordane by these Phlebia species. Additionally, transformation of trans-chlordane and production of hydroxylated metabolites were efficiently inhibited by the addition of cytochrome P450 inhibitors, piperonyl butoxide and 1-aminobenzotriazole, demonstrating that fungal cytochrome P450 enzymes are involved in some steps of trans-chlordane metabolism, particularly in the hydroxylation process.  相似文献

Intraspecific density effect was investigated for D. simulans , D. suzukii , D. auraria , D. rufa and D. immigrans , and interspecific density effect was examined for combinations of D. simulans , D. rufa and D. immigrans . Different numbers of their eggs were introduced to artificial substrates, and intra- and interspecific interaction were evaluated on the basis of per capita egg production of individuals (eggs) introduced. If individuals died before pupation, their per capita egg production was zero; if individuals survived to pupae, their per capita egg production was estimated from their size based on the relation between the pupal size and lifetime egg production. Per capita egg production thus estimated generally decreased with the increase of the density of conspecific larvae, although a slight increase was detected at high densities in some cases. When two species were introduced, per capita egg production of a species was reduced only when the larval density of co-introduced species was very high, suggesting weak interspecific competition. Interspecific interaction was asymmetric; the effect of D. simulans on D. rufa and D. immigrans was often significantly negative, but the effect of D. rufa or D. immigrans on D. simulans was not significant.  相似文献

The orchard bee species Osmia cornuta (Latreille) and O. rufa (Linnaeus) are both European in distribution. Osmia cornuta is distributed in the central and southern half of the continent, while O. rufa is distributed additionally in more northern parts of Europe, including Great Britain. These bees over-winter in cocoons as diapausing adults. The freezing temperatures of overwintering adults of O. cornuta and O. rufa during diapause are similar: -30 degrees C to -24 degrees C and -31 degrees C to -26 degrees C, respectively. However, there are differences in the termination of their diapause. Under natural conditions in the wider area of Belgrade, O. rufa appears in spring about two weeks later than O. cornuta.  相似文献

Selected strains of three species of white rot fungi, Pleurotus ostreatus, Phanerochaete chrysosporium and Trametes versicolor, were grown in sterilized soil from straw inocula. The respective colonization rates and mycelium density values decreased in the above mentioned order. Three- and four-ringed PAHs at 50 ppm inhibited growth of fungi in soil to some extent. The activities of fungal MnP and laccase (units per g dry weight of straw or soil), extracted with 50 mM succinate-lactate buffer (pH 4.5), were 5 to 20-fold higher in straw compared to soil. The enzyme activities per g dry soil in P. ostreatus and T. versicolor were similar, in contrast to P. chrysosporium, where they were extremely low. Compared to the aerated controls, P. ostreatus strains reduced the levels of anthracene, pyrene and phenanthrene by 81–87%, 84–93% and 41–64% within 2 months, respectively. During degradation of anthracene, all P. ostreatus strains accumulated anthraquinone. PAH removal rates in P. chrysosporium and T. versicolor soil cultures were much lower.  相似文献

Egg white proteins, hemoglobin, serum proteins and enzymes from Alectoris rufa have been examined by starch gel electrophoresis. All three genetic parameters, mean proportion of loci polymorphic per population (P), mean numbers of alleles per locus (A), and mean proportion of loci heterozygous per individual (H) are given for Alectoris rufa, and comparison were made between the proteins of the related species Coturnix coturnix japonica.  相似文献

从中国分离的149株木腐菌中,有30株具有漆酶活性。在添加了阿魏酸的液体培养基中,漆酶产量高(每升培养液中漆酶含量在10000单位以上)的菌株有9个:游离细胞培养的彩绒革盖菌Coriolus versicolor G30,相邻小孔菌Microporus affinis G07,血红密孔菌Pycnoporus sanguineus W006,W006-2,W3008,G05和香菇Lentinus edodes G18,以及固定细胞培养的鲑贝革盖菌Coriolus consors 98563和干酪菌Tyromyces sp. 98420。彩绒革盖菌、相邻小孔菌和血红密孔菌具有重要的生物工程研究价值。  相似文献

White rot fungi of the genus Phlebia have demonstrated a high capacity to degrade organic pollutants, including polychlorinated dibenzo-p-dioxins and polychlorinated biphenyls. In this study, we evaluated the ability of 18 white rot fungi species of genus Phlebia to degrade heptachlor and heptachlor epoxide, and described the metabolic pathways by selected white rot fungi. Phlebia tremellosa, Phlebia brevispora and Phlebia acanthocystis removed about 71%, 74% and 90% of heptachlor, respectively, after 14 days of incubation. A large amount of heptachlor epoxide and a small amount of 1-hydroxychlordene and 1-hydroxy-2,3-epoxychlordene were detected as metabolic products of heptachlor from most fungal cultures. The screening of heptachlor epoxide-degrading fungi revealed that several fungi are capable of degrading heptachlor epoxide, which is a recalcitrant metabolite of heptachlor. Phlebia acanthocystis, P. brevispora, Phlebia lindtneri and Phlebia aurea removed about 16%, 16%, 22% and 25% of heptachlor epoxide, respectively, after 14 days of incubation. Heptachlor diol and 1-hydroxy-2,3-epoxychlordene were produced in these fungal cultures as metabolites, suggesting that the hydrolysis and hydroxylation reaction occur in the epoxide ring and in position 1 of heptachlor epoxide, respectively.  相似文献

(-)-Galiellalactone is a hexaketide metabolite with interesting pharmacological activities which was detected in four strains of Galiella rufa (Sarcosomataceae, Ascomycota) and in two unidentified fungi shown by their 18S rDNA sequences also to belong to the Sarcosomataceae. These were a wood-inhabiting apothecial species from Chile and an endophytic isolate from Cistus salviifolius (Sardinia). Other members of the family (Urnula helvelloides, one Strumella coryneoidea isolate) produced no galiellalactone but merely hexaketides structurally related to galiellalactone precursors, whereas a third group of species (Sarcosoma latahensis, Strumella griseola, one S. coryneoidea isolate) lacked hexaketide production altogether. Despite thorough screening programmes, galiellalactone and its precursors have not yet been found in any fungus outside the Sarcosomataceae and may thus be a chemotaxonomic marker of the family, supporting its current phylogenetic definition. Two pentaketide derivatives of the 6-pentyl-alpha-pyrone type were found in all G. rufa strains as well as in A111-95 and the hexaketide-producing S. coryneoidea isolate.  相似文献

Due to their outstanding capability of degrading the recalcitrant biomacromolecule lignin, white rot fungi have been attracting interest for several technological applications in mechanical pulping and wood surface modification. However, little is known about the time course of delignification in early stages of colonisation of wood by these fungi. Using a Fourier transform near infrared (FT-NIR) spectroscopic technique, lignin loss of sterilised spruce wood shavings (0.4–2.0 mm particle size) that had been degraded by various species of white rot fungi could be monitored already during the first 2 weeks. The delignification kinetics of Dichomitus squalens, three Phlebia species (Phlebia brevispora, Phlebia radiata and Phlebia tremellosa), three strains of Ceriporiopsis subvermispora as well as the white rot ascomycete Hypoxylon fragiforme and the basidiomycete Oxyporus latemarginatus were determined. Each of the fungi tested was able to reduce the lignin content of spruce wood significantly during the first week. The amount of delignification achieved by the selected white rot fungi after 2 weeks ranged from 7.2% for C. subvermispora (FPL 105.752) to 2.5% for P. radiata. Delignification was significant (P = 95%) already after 3 days treatment with C. subvermispora and P. tremellosa. Activities of extracellular ligninolytic enzymes (laccase, manganese peroxidase and/or lignin peroxidase), expressed by each of the tested fungi, were determined. Lignin was degraded when peroxidase activity was detected in the fungal cultures, but only a low level of correlation between enzyme activities and the extent of delignification was found.  相似文献

The social wasps are predators of many insect species and the study of their preys can reveal the potential of these natural enemies in biological control programs. A total of 240h of collections of preys in 32 nests of Polistes versicolor (Olivier) was carried on in Juiz de Fora, Minas Gerais State, Brazil, from March 2000 to February 2001. The preys captured by P. versicolor were mainly those from the orders Lepidoptera (95.4%) and Coleoptera (1.1%) while 3.4% of them were not identified. Chlosyne lacinia saundersii Doubleday & Hewitson (Lepidoptera: Nymphalidae) was the most collected prey (13.5%). The total of 4,015 preys was estimated to be captured per colony of P. versicolor during one year. The species can be used in integrated pest management of herbivorous insects, especially defoliating caterpillars.  相似文献

Biobleaching of hardwood unbleached kraft pulp (UKP) by Phanerochaete chrysosporium and Trametes versicolor was studied in the solid-state fermentation system with different culture media. In this fermentation system with low-nitrogen and high-carbon culture medium, pulp brightness increased by 15 and 30 points after 5 days of treatment with T. versicolor and P. chrysosporium, respectively, and the pulp kappa number decreased with increasing brightness. A comparison of manganese peroxidase (MnP), lignin peroxidase (LiP), and laccase activities assayed by using fungus-treated pulp and the filtrate after homogenizing the fungus-treated pulp in buffer solution indicated that enzymes secreted from fungi were adsorbed onto the UKP and that assays of these enzyme activities should be carried out with the treated pulp. Time course studies of brightness increase and MnP activity during treatment with P. chrysosporium suggested that it was difficult to correlate them on the basis of data obtained on a certain day of incubation, because the MnP activity fluctuated dramatically during the treatment time. When brightness increase and cumulative MnP, LiP, and laccase activities were determined, a linear relationship between brightness increase and cumulative MnP activity was found in the solid-state fermentation system with both P. chrysosporium and T. versicolor. This result suggests that MnP is involved in brightening of UKP by white rot fungi.  相似文献

以中华猕猴桃(Actinidia chinensis)武植2号(Wuzhi-2),通山5号(Tongshan-5)品种和美味猕猴桃(A.deliciosa)金魁(Jinkui)品种为接穗,采用美味猕猴桃等9种类型猕猴桃一年生实生苗为砧木进行嫁接,研究其短期嫁接亲和性,并对这9种砧木进行抗根结线虫(Meloidogyne)筛选试验。结果表明,种间的嫁接亲和性及抗根线虫性 均有显著差异:以美味猕猴桃和中华猕猴桃优良品种实生苗为砧木,与3个品种均有高的亲和性,成活率高达100%,且抗性在9种砧木中最强;其它物种作砧木均有不足,武植2号/山猴猴桃,通山5号/M16,通山5号/山梨猕猴桃3个嫁接组合的亲和性均较好,成活率在80%以上,但山梨猕猴桃较易感病且与金魁的亲和力较低,M16抗性虽较好,但与金魁,武植2号的亲和力也较低,漓江猕猴桃是抗性较强的物种,但它与3种接穗品种的亲和力都较小,其它5种砧木,对根结线虫的抗性均不强,因此结合成活率及抗根结线虫两因素,在供试材料中,美味猴猕桃和中华猕猴桃接适应性广且抗性强,是较好的砧木或选育砧木的亲本材料。  相似文献

This study examines phylogenetic relationships among six species of the Formica rufa group ants (F. polyctena, F. rufa, F. lugubris, F. paralugubris, F. aquilonia, and F. pratensis). The phylogeny based on a 2051bp fragment of mtDNA including cyt b, tRNASer, and ND1 genes supports the division of the group into three major clusters: one with the species F. polyctena and F. rufa, one with F. aquilonia, F. lugubris, and F. paralugubris, and the third one with F. pratensis. The interspecific divergence estimates (mean 0.98 +/- 0.15% for the main phylogenetic groups) imply that radiation took place during the Pleistocene. Comparison of the divergence estimates among the F. rufa group species with divergence estimates among other closely related species of insects suggests that speciation in the group was relatively fast, and the mitochondrial lineages of F. polyctena and F. rufa have not fully separated. The haplotype tree shows also signs of transfer of mtDNA between species through hybridisation. The distribution of polygyny (multiple queens per nest) along the branches of the tree indicates that the social type characterised by highly polygynous societies and large colonial networks, has originated at least three times. The species F. aquilonia and F. paralugubris that build such large supercolonies, cluster tightly together with very little nucleotide variation, suggesting that this type of social organisation could be a factor promoting speciation in the ants.  相似文献

Microbial volatile organic compounds (MVOCs) emitted from the mould species Penicillium expansum, P. chrysogenum, Aspergillus versicolor, A. fumigatus, A. niger and Cladosporium cladosporoides were analyzed by means of solid phase microextraction (SPME) and GCMS. The mould species were cultivated on the synthetic agar dichloran chloramphenicol (DG 18) and on wet wall paper. The production of MVOCs was monitored over several weeks to detect changes in the emission rates between the initial stage and later periods of growth. The cultivation on the synthetic agar resulted in MVOC patterns with a wide variety of signals. In contrast, the growth on wet wall paper led to changed MVOC patterns with less signals. The emission rates were drastically reduced. Components emitted by all six fungi species on wall paper were 2-pentanol and 2-pentanone. 1-Octen-3-ol was emitted by five fungi species. 2-Pentanol was only detected in considerable amounts during the first days of growth whereas 1-octen-3-ol had a more constant emission rate over the whole period of growth. On the basis of our studies some MVOCs could be proposed as specific for single fungi on wall paper, e.g. 1,3-dimethoxybenzene for A. versicolor and 2,4-pentandione for A. fumigatus.  相似文献

We investigated the effects of eight temperatures (22.5, 25.0, 27.5, 30.0, 32.5, 35.0, 37.5, and 40.0 degrees C) and four relative humidities (43, 55, 63, and 75%) on population growth and development of the psocid Liposcelis rufa Broadhead (Psocoptera: Liposcelididae). L. rufa did not survive at 43% RH, at all temperatures tested; at 55% RH, at the highest four temperatures; and at 63% RH and 40.0 degrees C. The greatest population growth was recorded at 35.0 degrees C and 75% RH (73-fold growth). At 40.0 degrees C, L. rufa populations declined or barely grew. L. rufa males have two to four nymphal instars, and the percentages of males with two, three, and four instars were 31, 54, and 15%, respectively. Female L. rufa have two to five instars, and the percentages of females with two, three, four, and five instars were 2, 44, 42, and 12%, respectively. The life cycle was shorter for males than females. We developed temperature-dependent developmental equations for male and female eggs, individual nymphal, combined nymphal, and combined immature stages. The ability of L. rufa to reproduce at a relative humidity of 55% and temperatures of 22.5-30.0 degrees C and at relative humidities of 63-75% and temperatures of 22.5-37.5 degrees C, in addition to being able to survive at 40.0 degrees C, suggests that this species would be expected to have a broader distribution than other Liposcelis species. These data provide a better understanding of L. rufa population dynamics and can be used to help develop effective management strategies for this psocid.  相似文献
