Three compounds: (2S)-8-(3'-methylbut-2'-enyl)-7,3',4'-trihydroxyflavanone, (2S)-8-(3'-methyl-4'-hydroxy-but-2'-enyl)-7,3',4'-trihydroxyflavanone and (2S)-8-(3'-methyl-4'-hydroxy-but-2'-enyl)-5,3',4'-trihydroxy-7-methoxyflavanone, along with five previously known compounds, were isolated from the aerial parts of Flourensia fiebrigii. Their structures were elucidated by application of various spectroscopic methods, including 1D and 2D NMR techniques.  相似文献

From the stem wood of Erythrina latissima, two isoflavones and a flavanone were isolated and characterized as 7,3'-dihydroxy-4'-methoxy-5'-(gamma,gamma-dimethylallyl)isoflavone (erylatissin A), 7,3'-dihydroxy-6',6'-dimethyl-4',5'-dehydropyrano [2',3': 4',5']isoflavone (erylatissin B), (-)-7,3'-dihydroxy-4'-methoxy-5'-(gamma,gamma-dimethylallyl)flavanone (erylatissin C), respectively, in addition to 10 known flavonoids. Structures of these compounds were determined on the basis of their spectroscopic data. These compounds showed antimicrobial activity against Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus, Bacillus subtilis and Candida mycoderma. The isolated compounds also exhibited weak radical scavenging properties towards DPPH radical.  相似文献

Two new 2'-oxygenated flavones, 5,7,2'-trimethoxyflavone (1). and 5,7,2',4',6'-pentamethoxyflavone (2). were isolated from the whole plant of Andrographis viscosula along with three known flavones, echioidinin (3). 5,2',6'-trihydroxy-7-methoxyflavone (4). and echioidin (5). Five prenylated flavonoids, 8-(1,1-dimethylallyl)genistein (1), 5,7,3',4'-tetrahydroxy-2',5'-di(3-methylbut-2-enyl)isoflavone (2), 5,7,3'-trihydroxy-2'-(3-methylbut-2-enyl)-4',5'-(3,3-dimethylpyrano)isoflavone (3), (2R)-5,2',4'-trihydroxy-8,5'-di(3-methylbut-2-enyl)-6,7-(3,3-dimethylpyrano)flavanone (4a) and (2S)-5, 2', 4'-trihydroxy-8,5'-di(3-methylbut-2-enyl)-6,7-(3,3-dimethylpyrano)flavanone (4b), were isolated from the roots of Moghania philippinensis. Three lignans, (7S,8S,7'S,8'S)-3,3',4'-trihydroxy-4-methoxy-7,7'-epoxylignan, meso-(rel 7S,8S,7'R,8'R)-3,4,3',4'-tetrahydroxy-7,7'-epoxylignan, and (E)-4,4'-dihydroxy-7,7'-dioxolign-8(8')-ene, together with 10 known compounds, were isolated from the leaves of Larrea tridentata. The structures of the new compounds were determined primarily from 1D and 2D NMR spectroscopic analysis. Their antioxidant activities against intracellular reactive oxygen species were evaluated in HL-60 cells.  相似文献

Activity-guided fractionation of an EtOAc-soluble extract of the leaves of Muntingia calabura collected in Peru, using an in vitro quinone reductase induction assay with cultured Hepa 1c1c7 (mouse hepatoma) cells, resulted in the isolation of a flavanone with an unsubstituted B-ring, (2R,3R)-7-methoxy-3,5,8-trihydroxyflavanone (5), as well as 24 known compounds, which were mainly flavanones and flavones. The structure including absolute stereochemistry of compound 5 was determined by spectroscopic (HRMS, 1D and 2D NMR, and CD spectra) methods. Of the isolates obtained, in addition to 5, (2S)-5-hydroxy-7-methoxyflavanone, 2',4'-dihydroxychalcone, 4,2',4'-trihydroxychalcone, 7-hydroxyisoflavone and 7,3',4'-trimethoxyisoflavone were found to induce quinone reductase activity.  相似文献

A phytochemical investigation of the roots of Symplocos caudata Wall (Symplocaceae) resulted in isolation and characterization of four optical isomers of a neolignan glycoside (1-4), a lignan lactone glycoside (5), a phenylpropanoid glycoside (6), as well as two known compounds (7, 8). Their structures were elucidated as (7S,8S)-threo-7,9,9'-trihydroxy-3,3'-dimethoxy-8-O-4'-neolignan-4-O-beta-d-glucopyranoside (1), (7R,8R)-threo-7,9,9'-trihydroxy-3,3'-dimethoxy-8-O-4'-neolignan-4-O-beta-d-glucopyranoside (2), (7R,8S)-erythro-7,9,9'-trihydroxy-3,3'-dimethoxy-8-O-4'-neolignan-4-O-beta-d-glucopyranoside (3), (7S,8R)-erythro-7,9,9'-trihydroxy-3,3'-dimethoxy-8-O-4'-neolignan-4-O-beta-d-glucopyranoside (4), 8R,8'R-matairesinol-4-O-beta-d-xylopyranosyl-(1-->2)-O-beta-d-glucopyranoside (5), 1-O-[beta-d-xylopyranosyl-(1-->6)-O-beta-d-glucopyranosyl]-2,6-dimethoxy-4-propenyl-phenol (6), matairesinoside (7), and (R)-1-O-(beta-d-glucopyranosyl)-2-[2-methoxy-4-(omega-hydroxypropyl)-phenoxyl]-propan-3-ol (8) on the basis of spectroscopic data (1D and 2D NMR, MS and CD) and chemical evidence.  相似文献

The twigs of Dorstenia prorepens furnished the digeranylated chalcone, 5,3'-(3,7-dimethyl-2,6-octadienyl)-3,4, 2',4'-tetrahydroxychalcone while Dorstenia zenkeri yielded the 3',4'-(3-hydroxy-2,2-dimethyldihydropyrano)-4,2'-dihydroxychalcone and a bichalcone. 4-Hydroxylonchocarpin was found in both plants. D. prorepens also yielded the known compounds: psoralen, bergapten, beta-sitosterol and its D-glucopyranosyl derivative. D. zenkeri yielded p-hydroxybenzaldehyde, dorsmanin A, 4,2',4'-trihydroxychalcone and 4,2',4'-trihydroxy-3'-prenylchalcone. Structures of the new compounds were established by UV, IR, MS and 2-D NMR analysis.  相似文献

Chemical investigation of the combined dichloromethane and ethyl acetate extracts of the fruits of Artocarpus nobilis, furnished four new geranylated phenolic constituents, 2,4,4'-trihydroxy-3-[(2E)-5-methoxy-3,7-dimethylocta-2,6-dienyl]chalcone (4), 1-(3,4-dihydro-3,5-dihydroxy-2-methyl-2-(3-methyl-2-butenyl)-2H-1-benzopyran-6-yl-3-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-2(E)-propen-1-one (5), 8-geranyl-3',4',7-trihydroxyflavone (8), 3'-geranyl-4',5,7-trihydroxyflavanone (9), together with known related compounds, xanthoangelol (1), xanthoangelol B (2), 3-geranyl-2,3',4,4'-tetrahydroxychalcone (3), lespeol (6), 8-geranyl-4',7-dihydroxyflavanone (7), and isonymphaeol-B (10). Compounds 3, 8 and 10 showed strong antioxidant activity against DPPH radical by spectrophotometric method.  相似文献

A benzil derivative: scandione, 2',2"-dihydroxy-4'-methoxy-4",5"-methylenedioxybenzil and two isoflavones: scandenal, 3'-formyl-4',5-dihydroxy-2",2"-dimethylchromeno-[6,7:5",6"]isoflavone and scanderone, 4',5-dihydroxy-3'-prenyl-2",2"-dimethylchromeno-[7,8:6",5"]isoflavone together with fifteen known compounds were isolated from the stem of D. scandens. Their structures were determined by spectroscopic methods. Radical scavenging, antibacterial and hypertensive activities of some of the compounds were investigated.  相似文献

Three isoflavanones, 5,7,2',4'-tetrahydroxy-6-(3-methylbut-2-enyl)isoflavanone (1), 4",5"-dihydro-5,2',4'-trihydroxy-5"-isopropenylfurano-(2",3";7,6)-isoflavanone (2) and 4",5"-dihydro-2'-methoxy-5,4'-dihydroxy-5"-isopropenylfurano-(2",3";7,6)-isoflavanone (3) and a previously known isoflavone 5,7,4'-trihydroxyisoflavone [genistein (4)] were isolated and characterised spectroscopically from the root exudate of the legume Desmodium uncinatum (Jacq.) DC. We propose the names uncinanone A, B, and C for compounds 1, 2 and 3, respectively. Isolated fractions containing uncinanone B (2) induced germination of seeds from the parasitic weed Striga hermonthica (Del.) Benth. and fractions containing uncinanone C (3) moderately inhibited radical growth, the first example of a newly identified potential allelopathic mechanism to prevent S. hermonthica parasitism.  相似文献

One new ortho-dihydroxyisoflavone, 7,3',4'-trihydroxyisoflavone (2), and two known ortho-dihydroxyisoflavone derivatives were isolated from 5-year-old Doenjang (Korean fermented soypaste), and evaluated as potent antioxidant by comparing with other known isoflavones. 7,8,4'-Trihydroxyisoflavone (1), 7,3',4'-trihydroxyisoflavone (2), and 6,7,4'-trihydroxyisoflavone (3) inhibited DPPH (Diphenyl-1-picryl hydrazyl) formation by 50% at a concentration of 21.5+/-0.2, 28.7+/-0.4 and 32.6+/-0.6 (IC(50)), respectively, whereas three isoflavones showed weak DPPH radical scavenging activity. In xanthine oxidase (XO) system, in which both inhibition of xanthine oxidase and superoxide scavenging effect were measured in one assay. Compound 1 (IC(50)= 6.6+/-0.4 microM) and 2 (IC(50)=16.8+/-1.2 microM) show significant inhibitory activity and greater effect than allopurinol. But, compound 3 and other isoflavones showed lower inhibition activity. This study shows that the position of hydroxyl substituent at the aromatic ring of isoflavone plays an important role in radical scavenging effect.  相似文献

The twigs of Dorstenia angusticornis and Dorstenia barteri var. subtriangularis yielded 16 compounds. Two novel diprenylated chalcones: 3,5'-di-(2-hydroxy-3-methylbut-3-enyl)-4,2',4'-trihydroxychalcone, 3, 4-(2,2-dimethylpyrano)-3'-(2-hydroxy-3-methylbut-3-enyl)-2',4'-dihydroxychalcone and the known stipulin were isolated from both species. 3-(2-Hydroxy-3-methylbut-3-enyl)-5'-(3,3-dimethylallyl)-4,2',4'-trihydroxychalcone and the known compounds: 4-hydroxylonchocarpin, kanzonol B, bartericins A, B, C and 3'-(2-hydroxy -3-methylbut-3-enyl)-4,2',4'-trihydroxychalcone were isolated from D. barteri while the known compounds: gancaonin Q, paratocarpins C, F, and lupeol were obtained from Dorstenia angusticornis. beta-Sitosterol and its beta-d-glucopyranoside were isolated from both species. Structures of these secondary metabolites were established using spectroscopic analysis, especially, NMR spectra in conjunction with 2D experiments, COSY, HMQC and HMBC.  相似文献

One bi-bicyclic and two bi-tricyclic derivatives of coumarin-benzofuran, phenanthrene-phenanthrene and phenanthrene-phenanthraquinone, along with seven known compounds, were isolated from stems of Dendrobium thyrsiflorum Rchb.f. (Orchidaceae). On the basis of chemical, NMR (1H, 13C, HMQC, HMBC and NOESY) and mass spectrometry data, their structures were elucidated as denthyrsin [3-(5',6'-dimethoxybenzofuran-2'-yl)-6,7-dimethoxy-2H-chromen-2-one; 1], denthyrsinol (4,5'-dimethoxy-[1,1']biphenanthrenyl-2,5,4',7'-tetraol; 2), and denthyrsinone (7,4',7'-trihydroxy-2,2',8'-trimethoxy-[5,1']biphenanthrenyl-1,4-dione; 3). Compounds 1-3 and denthyrsinin (1,5,7-trimethoxyphenanthrene-2,6-diol; 4) showed significant cytotoxic activities against Hela (13.5, 9.3, 9.9 and 2.7 microM, respectively), K-562 (0.45, 1.6, 6.0 and 2.3 microM, respectively) and MCF-7 (18.1, not tested, 3.5 and 4.8 microM, respectively) cell lines.  相似文献

The homoisoflavanone 5,7-dihydroxy-6-methoxy-3-(9-hydroxy-phenylmethyl)-chroman-4-one (1) and its structurally related 2',4',6'-trihydroxy-3'-methoxy-alpha-hydroxymethyl-beta-hydroxy-dihydrochalcone (2) along with the known pashanone (3), flavokawin B (4) and cardamonin or alpinetin chalcone (5) pinostrobin (6) and 5,8-dimethoxy-7-hydroxychroman-4-one (7) were isolated from dry leaves of Polygonum ferrugineum (Polygonaceae). To our knowledge, this is the first report of the isolation of a homoisoflavanone from the Polygonum genus and the Polygonaceae family, and could be an important chemotaxonomic finding. In addition, the pattern of substitution of this homoisoflavanone is different from others previously reported.  相似文献

A chemosystematic HPLC-UV and HPLC-MS investigation of New Zealand members of the Apiaceae was performed. Diterpenes were identified and quantified in methanolic extracts from subaerial parts of 28 taxa and 54 samples of Aciphylla, Anisotome, Apium, Gingidia, Lignocarpa, Oreomyrrhis, and Scandia. Six diterpenes (1-2, 4-7) and four polyacetylenes (8-11) were identified. The known compounds were the diterpenes anisotomenoic acid 1, anisotomene-1-ol 2, 16-acetoxyanisotomenoic acid 4 and anisotomene-1,12-diol 5; and the polyacetylenes falcarinol 8, falcarindiol 9, (+)-9(Z),17-octadecadiene-12,14-diyne-1,11,16-triol 10, and (+)-9(Z),17-octadecadiene-12,14-diyne-1,11,16-triol 1-acetate 11. New irregular diterpenes 13,14-dihydroanisotom-12E-ene-1,14-diol 6 and 14-methoxy-13,14-dihydroanisotom-12E-ene-1-ol 7 were isolated from A. haastii. Isomers of the new semi-synthetic diterpene 16-hydroxyanisotomenoic acid 3 were detected in extracts of Anisitone flexuosa. Structure elucidation was performed by HR mass spectrometry and 1D and 2D NMR spectroscopy. In crude extracts, compounds were identified by their HPLC retention times and their on-line HPLC-UV and MS spectra. Anisotomene diterpenes occurred in eight out of 16 species of the genus Anisotome, but were not detected in any of the other genera. In contrast, polyacetylenes were present in all the genera investigated.  相似文献
