Observations on lysogeny in glutamic acid bacteria. |

| Abstract: | Induced lysis occurred in a number of different strains of glutamic acid bacteria. Mixed culture experiments indicated that induced cultures produce phages or bacteriocins. Temperate phages were isolated from two related strains of Brevibacterium divaricatum. |
