| Abstract: | A marked increase in acid phosphatase activity took place incotyledons of germinating Vigna mungo seeds. The attachmentof axis organs was not required for this development of enzymeactivity in cotyledons. DEAE-cellulose column chromatographyrevealed that the phosphatase is composed of at least threeforms. (Received August 19, 1981; Accepted October 30, 1981) |
