| Abstract: | Different methods of concentration of Newcastle disease virus(namely, precipitation with methenol,ethnol or alum,adsorption on and elution from chicken red blood cells,precipitation by simple frozen and by differential centrifugation) were studied.Preliminary results indicate that concentration by differential centri- fugation is most effective,being able to concentrate 16 times as compared with the original infective allantoic fluid.All the other methods are also effective but of less degree.Among them,met... |
