| Abstract: | The results of 17 new neutron distance measurements on protein pairs within the 30 S ribosomal subunit are reported. A partial map of the structure is presented giving the locations of S3, S4, S5, S7, S8, S9, S10, S11 and S12. This map is compared to other information on ribosomal organization and function. |
