| Abstract: | Em-like proteins are present in dry seeds of several species playing a rolein the desiccation tolerance of the embryo. A novel Emgene (BnEm6) of Brassica napuswas identified using a PCR-walking method. BnEm6shares high amino acid sequence identity with other known Em proteins and asimilar pattern of expression. |
