Abstract: | Proline hydroxylase of membrane pellets from tissues of chick embryo was solubilized by several extraction mediums. Three kinds of enzyme linkage with membranes were pointed out: a labile and non specific adsorption, a specific linkage on endogenous procollagen which is linked with the membranes, and a part of membranes themselves. Our results suggest that, in the liver, these three kinds of linkage exist. Whereas, in tibia bones only labile linkages appear by non specific adsorption or through the link with membrane procollagen. |
