| Abstract: | Aqueous extracts from leaf or inflorescence ofParthenium hysterophorus were either algistatic or algicidal toChlorella vulgaris andSynechococcus elongatus. Root extract, however, enhanced the growth of the two algae, but a 2.5% level was algistatic toS. elongatus. |
